I absolutely love this resort and would highly recommend it!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. One staff member ran to open a door for me when I was bringing in my luggage. It was raining one day, so we spent the day at the spa. What an amazing experience. I never thought I would be glad it rained on a vacation day. Also, the restaurant is fantastic. My husband was talking about his meal days later. We look forward to coming back again someday.

This property is stunning! It’s so close to the park with a ton of amenities. Everyone that worked here was so odd and rude though, that’s my only complaint was the service, especially at the restaurant. We would stay here again and avoid the staff.

This lodge was WONDERFUL. The details throughout the property were gorgeous and high end. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is literally 2 minutes from the Big Oak Flat Entrance and then a scenic 30 minute drive down to the main attractions at Yosemite valley. Also, I didn’t bring my 4 year old, but I SHOULD HAVE! They had playgrounds (indoor and outdoor), s’mores every day, heated pool, games (indoor and outdoor), crafts, on site hikes, etc. I will say the drinks at the bar were pricey. $20+, but they sold beer and wine in the gift shop so that was more up my alley.

Beautiful resort with all the amenities—pool, restaurant, spa and just 45-60 mins from Yosemite entrances. It is VERY family friendly, so kids everywhere, which sets a different tone for an adult getaway. You’re also stuck with the restaurant options, as there is nothing close by and the prices are pretty high for meals and drinks. Delightful small market-cafe for morning bites, and the staff there were particularly friendly, but staff were lovely from check-in to out.

I was truly surprised on how nice this property was. We came here because we wanted to visit Yosemite and it’s not too far off from Yosemite village. Appx 30 min drive but the room was really nice and the amenities were super cool. My family and I loved the pool and the dining. Super friendly staff. Aside from dealing with a Karen under our room, everything else was nice.

The only issue with the Hotel was the dining room staff/staffing. Service was rather slow on several occasions including one occasion where it took 20 minutes for someone to take our dinner order. Enjoyed the Adventure Trail hike and the grounds were thoughtfully designed. I was too busy hiking in the park to try the spa facility. Perhaps on my next visit...

Very nice property. Check in and check out was problematic, and the staff were untrained in using the computer or confirming prepayments. They also asked us to skip house keeping for a free drink, suggesting staffing issues. The rooms could have been cleaner and showed some signs of wear. The fence outside our patio was broken. We had difficultly sleeping due to kids jumping loudly above us late at night and early in the morning. Brunch was buffet only. The game room was a total hit with my 6 year old, and the pool and playground occupied him for hours. The fire pit and smores with live music created great ambiance. The general layout was really nice. Overall 4 out of 5 stars. It's 10 minutes to the paid gate of Yosemite but 45 minutes to the popular destinations of Yosemite. I would stay again.

Phenomenal pool and playground set up! We loved the s’mores every night in general store. The property itself was very beautiful, and easy to access Yosemite Park! This resort has beautiful grounds. The rooms are big. We stayed in the room with. King size bed and a beautiful view. The resort has many activities for a family with a game room, heated pools and some easy hiking trails behind the hotel. The resort is about 2 miles to Yosemite entrance and about 40 minutes to Yosemite’s Valley. I would definitely stay here again.

We had the most incredible stay at Rush Creek Lodge—truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the property felt like the perfect blend of rustic charm and thoughtful design. The grounds are beautiful, the lodge itself is stunning, and there’s so much for families to enjoy without ever feeling crowded or chaotic.

What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail and level of care. At one point, my son realized he forgot his toothbrush, and without hesitation they provided one—complimentary. It seems small, but it’s those little touches that make a place feel genuinely welcoming and well thought out.

Between relaxing by the fire pits, exploring the property, and just soaking in the atmosphere, it felt like the kind of place where memories are made easily. Our kids loved it, we loved it, and we’re already talking about coming back.

Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a beautiful, easy, and memorable getaway.

This place is awesome the staff is great the Villa we stayed in was beautiful we got to se some deer. The only bad thing is there is no other restaurants around the area so you are kinda stuck ordering from the restaurant in the Hotel. The food is ok not great the prices I would say a bit over the edge. But if you can afford it go for it. But I’d recommend bringing food and snack instead.

The coffee machine was not working in our room, there were no toothpaste available , a water jug cost us $5.00 so I can’t imagine how much a toothpaste would cost. Food at the restaurant was not good at all and it cost us 120 for a family of 5. We paid $395 per night and you would think they would offer at least free toothpaste or give a few water bottles. Definitely not worth the stay

Great location for Yosemite sight seeing. Very nice sunset views from all over the property. Most amenities (specifically pool/spa) accessible 24x7! Villa rooms are spacious and comfortable for 4.
Dinner menu was excellent (duck legs, wings, fried cauliflower, Cioppino, salmon, Caesar salad were all standouts). Breakfast though is pretty over priced, and nothing special. Spa was great after days of hiking. Hot waterfall tub was a unique standout.
The negatives were several amenities (2nd hot tub, most of the game room games - pinball, bubble jockey) were broken/needed maintenance, and being in a ground floor villa there was a lot of noise from the room above, so ask for a second floor villa if available.

The front desk staff is extremely unfriendly and are not interested in helping with anything at all. We had 2 separate reservations for 2 nights ( back to back) under the same name - had to check out and check back in as they said that they are fully booked and can not accommodate keeping the same room for 2 nights. It was extremely painful to take all the luggage to the front desk to keep it until we come back from Yosemite, but more surprisingly, when we checked back in - it was the same villa building just a different room ( with the same arrangement/ layout as we had during the previous night). On the day of the departure, we asked to extend check out time by 30 minutes which hotels around the US as well as the world are easily accommodating, but again, we were told that they are fully booked and can not help us with a up to a 30 mins extension ( even 15 was not an option). However, even at 8 pm of the same day they have a lot of rooms available for booking online ( I guess it was not really the case that they are fully booked). Overall property is nice and traveling with a family is easy when you have 2 bedroom villas, but the staff ( especially front desk) really needs some training. If you are planning to use the spa or/and get some treatment - advance booking is recommended.

Our stay at Rush Creek Lodge was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and truly attentive, making us feel right at home. The views surrounding the lodge are breathtaking, especially with the beautiful nature and mountains all around.

The amenities were fantastic—there was so much to enjoy, and everything was thoughtfully designed to make the stay relaxing and fun. One of the highlights of our trip was watching the sunset, which was absolutely stunning and made the experience even more memorable.

If you’re visiting the area near Yosemite National Park, I highly recommend staying here. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, adventure, and beautiful scenery. We can’t wait to come back!

The water pressure in our room was really poor, leaving a film of soap on the tile and making is super slippery but staff said they would address it! Otherwise, the stay was perfect!

Stephanie truly went above and beyond to take care of my family’s needs, anticipating things before we even asked and doing it all with warmth and grace. That level of care made our stay feel personal, relaxed, and memorable.

We had a great one-bedroom suite, that was very clean and well stocked. The lodge is beautiful, with lots of activities & gathering places. I love that there are no TVs—our family played games, used the hots tubs and spa, hung out and read in the cozy common lounge, and made s’mores (provided by the lodge) every night at the firepit. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. The only complaints are the sofa bed (not comfortable) and the finicky coffee maker in the room. 100%recommend the Rush Creek Lodge!!

So many personal highlights! Fantastic pool to swim laps in between hot soaks, day and night. Beautiful mountain setting quite close to Yosemite, with hikes. Very family friendly and also solo friendly. Lodge store full of surprises (like $4 bagels with all the trimmings). Espresso. Cozy balconies. Vast common spaces with many games and lovely ranch furnishings. Friendly staff! Good deals offered at certain times - great value. Free s’mores! Loved the indoor spa which is also full if surprises and is a good value. Love sitting on natural rock “chair” underneath hot salt waterfall.Hanging bed. Many rooms with different ways to offer deep relaxation. Very memorable. Wish I was there right now:)

When we first arrived and opened the door to the reception area, we were honestly amazed. The property felt warm and inviting, the jacuzzi and pool areas looked beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was charming. The spaces were lovely and the rooms felt cozy — our first impression was truly wonderful.

However, everything changed when we went to dinner. We were shocked by the condition of the kitchen. The first dish we received was burnt, unpleasant, and poorly prepared. We ended up eating it only because there was no other option. Then they brought us pasta — spaghetti with a meatball and capers — and it was so sour that it made us nauseous. We left dinner still hungry, hoping that breakfast would be better.

Unfortunately, breakfast was even more disappointing. The cups and dishes were so dirty that we immediately got up and said we could not eat there. It felt extremely unhygienic and unacceptable.

We also wanted to use the spa area, but were told that with children we were only allowed from 8 AM to 11 AM. After hiking in the mountains, all we wanted was a good night’s sleep, a nice breakfast, and then to enjoy the spa. Instead, we ended up having to leave the property entirely.

It is truly sad to see such a beautiful complex in such a stunning location have service that is this poorly managed. The potential is incredible, but the experience was extremely disappointing.

The restaurant (and adjacent tavern) made it easy to take almost all our meals there. We did not have enough time to discover the park and enjoy all the amenities, but we left there already planning to return.

So i wouldn't call ot a spa and resort persay as much as its a family vacation spot. It was our honeymoon and we couldn't go anywhere without screaming kids running around. Couldn't even enjoy a night in the hot tub in peace and quiet cuz parents and their toddlers treated it like a kids pool. If you enjoy staying in your room the whole time for some relaxation then this is the place for you. But if you are looking for a quiet get away in nature this is not it.
The restaurant on site did have great staff but options are very limited on food selection and definitely over priced for what you get.
The overall location and atmosphere is gorgeous but again if you are using it as an get away escape you will be let down. The majority of guests there were families with multiple young kids running around with no respect for anyone elses space or privacy.

Wow, what an amazing place. Superb location right by the Yosemite entrance, lots of great food options, pools and spas were amazing. The nightly free smores was a highlight. They have lots of experiences you can book, we did horse riding and united a paddle board to take to a lake, both were amazing. Highly recommended.
