Room was clean. Lines were clean. AC was loud but decided to wing it. They tell you they have a shuttle and then they say no. Once checked out, they said the shuttle comes in at 7am. Doesn’t work for early flights but the advantage is the airport location only 5 min away. Many restaurants and bars near. The bath tub it’s hard to get in and out. I don’t think they were well planned. The restaurant is so so. Over all a 5 out of 10.

Es triste ver como un hotel va decayendo con el tiempo.
Era uno de mis hoteles favoritos de Torreon.
El primer cuarto que nos asignaron hacia tanto ruido la ventilacion que nos tuvimos que cambiar.
El segundo cuarto estaba mal limpiado, traia polvos en la superficie de un mueble, pedazo de galleta en el piso, sabanas con labiales rojos, la taza tiraba agua ....etc....

The area is not very walkable. Indeed, there are no sidewalks just outside the hotel, but getting to downtown via public transportation is convenient enough.

The staff are fantastic. We had a great time!

The hotel is at a good location surrounded by restaurants. The facilities are outdated, light fixtures not working, limited tv channels, and unfortunately during my stay they had a group of young kids that kept noise up until midnight and the hotel staff was not able to control them.

I do like the area where the hotel is located. Hotel is very nice and the fare is good. The staff is very friendly. But it looks like the hotel is getting old and some details are being left aside. Our AC did not worked properly and we reported it. I guy came to check it out, told us that he came back and it never did. The bathroom accessories fell off the wall, the shower handles look like they have never been cleaned properly, TV or cable service is terrible and only in Spanish, please leav a SAP option. I would not stay again that's for sure.

Needs a face lift

I usually like Real Inn properties but this one need a long overdue face lift. Many of the properties in the area are getting updated lobbies, rooms and all important updated fitness rooms but this property has done nothing for the seven years I have been going to Torreon, MX. We used a few of their conference rooms and they look very tired and used. Would like to see them invest to keep up with the competition. Probably won't be back here anytime soon.

I visit Torreon every month so my accommodations are important. What is major for me: Good working Air Conditioning, Clean/updated room, Updated Fitness center, full service restaurant and safe/easy location. The Real Inn meet most of these pretty well. The rooms are nice, clean and bathroom/showers are very nice. The AC is about average, could be a little better. It has a full service restaurant with good breakfast each morning and even a Starbucks in the lobby (not a plus for me but is for some). I guess with the Starbucks in the lobby is why they don't offer a coffee maker in the rooms. The location is very nice because close to entertainment and quick access to roads and its safe. The big down fall for me is the Fitness Center, the equipment is old and some broken and could use a re-vamp. This feature has become a very important factor these days to people who travel for a living. It not for this the Real Inn would probably get an Excellent rating from me but for now its Good. I will probably stay again and keep hoping they update the Fitness Center.

Real Inn use to be a great place to stay and rest, specially if you are in Torreon for business what is my case all the time I go to that city. But not anymore; the staff was great and they work hard to make your stay pleasant; but the rooms haven’t been taking care of. Curtains with holes, the AC doesn’t work and very loud. Anyway, I have no intention in return to that hotel

Good location, AC and toilet wasn't working.

They don't have extra pillows, the rooms are always hot and this is the 4th time we stay here. Next time we will for sure look into another place. We went to go see the hotel connected to the mall (gallerias) and it seemed better. We will try that one next time. The AC and toilet both didn't work when we arrived. The internet is pretty slow especially when there are allot of people at the hotel.

I won't be staying in this hotel ever, I didn't have warm water in the morning, some lamps didn't work, I ask for a different room, the new room have some problems as well with the lightening plus the sink was clogged.
The breakfast buffet was about 20 dollars and it was pretty basic, not impressed at all.

Serious upkeep needed

This hotel used to be great for business travelers, not anymore.
The restaurant and room service is seriously understaffed, the same waiter that is at the restaurant has to deliver to the rooms as well; imagine the bottleneck that creates!
The rooms haven't been upkept in quite some time, from paint falling off the wall to chairs with upholstery falling apart.
The lobby and common areas are fine, and are enjoyable. The rooms need serious cleaning and maintenance.

Room has some space but that's about all good I can say. The AC didn't work correctly, the doors were falling apart and the gym is in BAD need of updating (equipment broken, treadmills all broken, no AC, etc). A poor choice and one I don't think I will make again, much better properties in Torreon

This hotel is acceptable, although, is not in any way what it used to be. Rooms are OK, a bit run down, needs upgrade. Beds are old. Staff in general excellent, food excellent. Unfortunately internet is one of the worst. I probably won't stay at this hotel again until it gets some upgrading.

Serious need of an upkeep

I remember this hotel when it was a Camino Real, now that the holding company decided to rebrand it to Real Inn it has decided to not spend a dime on upkeep.

The rooms need serious refurbishing, the bathrooms are old, with very basic amenities.
There's no coffee maker in the room, the towels are showing serious usage and feel thin and old.
Two small soaps, one tiny shampoo bottle, one little bottle of water.

I had stayed before in this hotel and appreciated its \"modernity\" and \"upbeat\" personality but they have just let it die.

Not good reservation process-service-breakfast

Reservation process was a nightmare as got my 10 booked double rooms cancelled without a courtesy call. Sales rep, Miss Samantha just decided to give them to somebody else without letting me know, pushing me to search online, getting a few single rooms eith extra bed instead of my needed double rooms, paying 15% more per night and had to beg to get my group's free Breakfast after a thousand calls to everyone at the hotel.

Even after I got the email confirmation stating we were getting our breakfasts, the manager replied stating to the accountant, which I had to speak to as well, had conceded too much!!
That she should think it over...

Aside from all that, during our stay, they suggested we had our breakfast before their more profitable restaurant hours for them to not lose their public business.... Every morning we had a female employee watching our breakfast session and being careful we didnt eat that much or distract the other patrons, suggesting to be seated in a different area WITH A DIFFERENT LIMITED BUFFET for the youngsters in our group. No cereal, no eggs, no milk...
Not really a good experience overall. If I were to have any other option, I would take it. Not a good rate, not a good service, not a good breakfast....
Search elsewhere.
(Even the event organizers told us they have had numerous complaints before....)

.....cant wait to hear from Manager about this, the guy that knew everything about this, but didnt show up during pur stay....

I spent one night at the hotel. Planned for two but missed one due to flight delays. The two nights where two days apart and when I called to have the first night moved they said the hotel was full. Although based on the online registration there where rooms available. The attendant on that call made me wait 20min and was not helpful at all, I think he couldn't use the computer so he just lied to me. It made me angry so I reserved for an other hotel the first night. On the night I did spend there I asked for the airport shuttle to be reserved. The attendant pretended to type on the computer for a minute and said it was all set up for the time I asked and that it would be $100 pesos. In the morning there was a new person there and he said they had no such service but could call a cab. The cab charged me twice as much. I hate being lied to and will probably never stay in this hotel again because of it.

I stayed at this property before when it was The Camino Real,and
enjoyed my stay. I wish I could say the same about my recent stay. Where do I begin?
Eduardo, the receptionist in the evening is terrible!! Rude and knows nothing about customer service. I asked to use business center at 11pm, he said it was occupied I walked around the corner to see an empty room. I asked for some water , he said there was no water. I requested a taxi for 6am the night before..... No Taxi!!!! He calls taxi when he sees me that morning. Eduardo is the type of person you don't want dealing with your customers...Will stay at Fiesta Inn next time....

COMFORTABLE STAY

I have to say the hotel was a good experience. It was clean, nice big bed, fridge, safe, and wi-fi were included, unlike other places I have stayed where all that is an extra expense. Being a hotel in Mexico, it makes you forget you are in Mexico as it is very comparable to other hotels here in USA. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

The location was great, the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, especially the dining staff. There was one glitch, one morning when our electricity went out, however we called the front desk and someone came up within five minutes to fix the problem. I thought the hotel was very nice looking. My overall experience with the Real Inn was excellent.

This is a great safe, clean, modern, and quiet hotel for business travelers. It's close to the airport. The restaurant is excellent and I prefer this hotel when traveling to Torreon. The hotel does have a small pool, but it's not anything extra-ordinary.
