Great room all new feeling , no complaints. Saturday night and we came on the train, hotel restaurant and bar closed at 7 pm . Also 4_5 steps to get to elevator, really even with medium suitcases not easy . I would stay again just because it’s so close to the train station

Great location next to the station though a bit of a hike up the hill from the town. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Brive

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at
After a long day of driving in the rain, it was a bit challenging to find the hotel. My gps directed me to the corner of the hotel, which looked abandoned or closed for the night. Parked at the train station parking lot (which was cheap for overnight) and walked around to the side to find the main entry open. The woman at the front desk was beyond friendly, sweet and offered us a free upgrade. It included a beautiful balcony overlooking the train station and city, huge main room with two twin beds and a second smaller room with another twin bed. The bathroom was super spacious and clean. I really appreciated the nespresso machine in the room and generous breakfast spread in the morning. We also ate at their restaurant for a late dinner, which was delicious with great service. The hotel is about 10 mins walking from the downtown area, which is a quintessential adorable French town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would return in a heartbeat.

Making a Texan warm in February
The folks at the hotel were super accommodating! We arrived on a cold February day and the temperature in the room was around 45F. The heating system in the room was not enough to bring the temperature up to 72F. We told the folks that we were from Texas and we keep our home at 72-74F. They di not even blink but said they understood and they would take care of the problem right away. When we returned to our room there was a great electric heater in the room. This electric heater kept us warm every night.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who can appreciate great service from a Family owned Hotel!

very dissapointing
After checking in we had to walk through a building site: electricl cables lying across the floor, temporary lighting hanging from the cieling and newly plastered walls to reach the room. We carried the muck from the floor on our shoes into the bedroom. I am surprised this hotel is allowed to operate as a business while these works are in progress. It is not in my nature to be negative so, two good points, safe parking and a good bed were provided and no doubt when all the renovations are completed this will be a nice place to stay.

We chose this hotel based on pictures and on the fact that it was next to the Brive train station and the agency where we were to pick up our rental car next day. It turned out to be a delightful stay. Great staff and the new rooms are wonderful--spacious, modern and comfortable.

We had an updated, clean modern room with a view to the gare. The hotel was in the midst of major renovation but we weren't directly affected. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast had variety. The location is ideal for those in transit as well as sightseers.

Convenient Hotel in Brive
I came across 2 single rooms at the Hotel Terminus at an extraordinary low price and couldn't believe my luck. We were staying for just one night as we were flying out the next day.
I think you need to be realistic about hotels in Europe. Unless you are going to spend a fortune you need to understand that many things we in the UK take for granted, do not come as standard over the channel. For instance no fridge even though we experienced 30+ degrees. No coffee or tea making facilities and no safe. However we can live without those extras!
Check in was so simple, no flashing booking docs etc, Staff were very accommodating. There is a good lift by the way!
My room had a double bed and was adequate in size and clean. The shower cubicle was a little small but there was plenty of hot water. My sister's room was a few doors down also clean and a double bed. Room comfort has been marked down as the mattress was so hard I could have been camping. Staff told me the hotel is being refurbished so when I come back mattress should be better!
We ate at the hotel restaurant that evening as it was too hot to go out and we were pleasantly surprised. Sister had duck (as you do in the region) and I had a Limousin steak. Have to say the regions beef never disappoints. Bill was about £20 a head with starters and pudding.

We loved the hotel. It was old with a great deal of character. It is across the street from the train station. We had a fantastic meal out on the patio at the restaurant. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor of the hotel. It was very pleasant and the patio was lovely.

L'équipe est chaleureuse, de bons conseils pour les restaurants lorsque l'on veut tester autre chose que le restaurant de l'hôtel. Le buffet du petit déjeuner pour lequel il existe une formule \"light\", s'adapte à vos besoins. La suite dans laquelle j'ai dormi était spacieuse et la literie agréable. Nous avons été très bien reçu, on avait demander un lit bébé en plus et il était installé avec des draps mon bébé a super bien dormi et nous aussi. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Ce jour il débite mon compte du prix de la chambre non occupé.
