I didn’t realize my first trip to Portugal would start in a small fishing town outside Lisbon — and I loved it. Winding streets, colorful buildings, ocean waves, amazing seafood, and friendly people made it unforgettable. Everything was steps away — yoga, the beach, and great restaurants — and I felt free and safe exploring on foot.

My room had a stunning view of rooftops and the ocean. The hotel was inviting, modern bohemian, and spotless. What began as a surprise became one of the most memorable parts of my trip.

I was so excited to stay here and never been so disappointed . Loud streets and the TERRIBLE service in the restaurant and front desk. Staff was sooo snarky and rude and only smiled at the guest over the age 80 . Smells like piss outside of the hotel and the streets are so loud you can’t sleep. The cleaners were vacuuming the hall way and screaming loudly to on another at 7am.

This place is GHETTTOOO under disguise!!! BEWARE!!

Friendly welcome at check in by Miguel who also confirmed good places to eat and drink. Room as advertised but pillows a bit thin and strange wardrobe design. Lovely breakfast. Staff asked if we had enjoyed ourselves when we checked out. Parking tricky. Arrive after 6pm when streets seemed quieter. We'd definitely stay again if in area. Lovely town by the sea.

Terrible. It was supposed to be a wonderful stay to celebrate my wedding anniversary and my partners 50th birthday. But so spoilt by the state of our room. Dirty floors, dirty terrace, mould in the shower room, mould and bad smell in the shower making this area almost unusable and wet towels. I spoke to the reception desk and they informed me to email FHL Hotels and ovèr a month later I still have not had a reply.

We stayed in room 26 on the 4th floor - the shower was covered in mold and the shower head and hose were disgusting. The shower was so repulsive my husband and I could not take a shower during our stay. The room also smelled of sewer gas. Not a good outcome for booking a superior suite seaview room... I was offered a dehumidifier which would NOT have removed the mold or the smell. Make sure you thoroughly check out any room/bathroom at this hotel before you accept staying in it. There were no other available rooms in the hotel to switch to or I would have jumped at the chance to leave the room. Shame on FLH for poor maintenance of what I assume is the most expensive room in the facility.

A wonderful stay, hotel is lovely, in the centre of Ericeria.
Lots of little touches ie afternoon cake, coffee and tea always available, towels for the beach. Breakfast was great, and always well stocked.

Loved the hotel, didn't like our particular room

Ericeira is such a great place to visit, and we loved the hospitality of the Reserva FLH Hotel. Super friendly staff (everyone was so nice!), a generous breakfast, and a very central location in the middle of everything.

The only not-so-good thing was our room (25, on the 4th floor). We do not recommend booking that room - a suite with sea view - if you're very tall or if you don't want to climb some extra stairs because the lift only goes to the 3rd floor. We personally didn't mind stairs at all but my husband did hit his head on the low sloped ceiling a couple of times. Also, there were some drainage issues in the bathroom that caused a very noticeable smell. I know it's an old building and I overheard that maintenance was coming to check it out the day we left, so I did not complain during our short stay; I just hope it was fixed for the next visitors. If we had a longer booking I would've asked to switch rooms.

Although a little hilly in the area, there are many facilities so near to the Hotel, lovely clean beaches, shops, cafés, bars etc. a perfect venue. The Hotel itself is lovely, the staff even lovelier, especially receptionist Diogo for whom nothing was too much trouble, a really lovely guy. Also very easy to get an Uber if going further afield.

An absolutely beautiful property, close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants in town. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. Would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

A mixed bag but will search for an alternative!

Basic kitty. Very small room with zero amenities, no fridge and the sea view was no sea view and you can only see the see with a lot of effort. Good location and the pillows are a €5 pillow and simply awful. Check in at 3PM and checkout at 11AM, again, really bad policy. The breakfast was good but no hot items with plenty f coffee, tea, juices, cereal, cold pancakes, breads, cereal and boiled eggs. Not with the price due to the room size and lack of amenities but the location is good and the reception staff is nice and friendly.

The hotel is nice, located in a central area walking distance from anywhere. Unfortunately, the shower in my room was completely blocked and overflowing. They did not have another room available and I could not be transferred to another room. They did try several times to fix the shower drain unsuccessfully. Eventually after 3 days I was told they need to properly fix it by removing the shower floor/base. They suggested I could leave as they have no other alternative available rooms and will be refunded. I only received a refund for the last night I did not stay. No additional compensation was offered for the 4 nights I stayed without a properly working shower. I tried to reach out to the management several times, which are based in Lisbon to no avail. The staff at the hotel are friendly but I will not be staying there again. This should have been handled differently and a proper compensation for the situation should have been provided promptly.

Overall a nice stay

We booked a double room that says including an \"interior patio\" but then when we checked in, we were told that room was already rented out. There should be some mistakes with the system and the option shouldn't have been made available when we did our booking. Luckily the staff was very helpful and upgraded us to a room with balcony. Rooms are all on the small side but breakfast was ample and lovely. The bread basket was our favorite.

Very chic hotel with incredible rooms. We stayed in room 24 for three nights which had an amazing view of the sea, then our final night in room 17 which was more spacious but one floor down so not as good a sea view but still lovely.

A lot of POLLUTION from putting plastic over all over the food. Please stop doing this is completely absurd you are a beach hotel making plastic pollution.

The penthouse suites suffer a little from noise from the elevator and some minor noise from neighbours also.

Overall its a good option.

Great hotel in heart of Ericeira

Clean hotel in the center of Ericeira, walking distance to all. Good COVID measures in place. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Only negative was we paid for a better room but the terrace lacked chairs and a table from the advertised photos. There was only a dirty bean bag cushion on the terrace. No hotel parking, so you must use street parking or a nearby paid parking garage (13€ for 24 hours). Will visit again!

The property consists of a newly rebuilt and decorated Chalet and the House of Falésia. The decoration is inspired by maritime and nautical motifs, with several decorative pieces harmonized with this theme.

The House of Falésia has common rooms. The navigators' room complements the maritime decoration, with a game table, television and various sofas; and the caravel room is the dining room where breakfast is served.

All stays include a continental breakfast with some sweet treats traditional from Sintra, being served either in the dining area or in the lodgings for greater privacy. A daily cleaning of the rooms is included throughout the stay.

One of the most exuberant common areas is the four-level garden: on level 1 there is a rock garden with native plants from the Sintra area completing the parking lot area; on level 0 there is a waterfall and hot tub with an endless view of the ocean; in level -1, the continuation of the native plants and rock garden, as well as an area of relaxation with chairs towards the outlook of the sea.
