We had a message last a few hours before flying to say we were not staying at the hotel and apartment in another location.
The appointment had missing tiles on floor of shower and bathroom screen also missing.
We paid for breakfast which was in another hotel, the staff seemed we was an inconvenience and although they had backed goods the quality (all food which was ment to be hot was freezing including scrambled eggs) and quantity of basic goods was not great.
Loved the area and sights of Pompeii so wasn’t a wasted trip.

Positives: Clean room, staff friendly, close to ruins and train stations
Negatives:
Front desk area not always manned but we were given a telephone number to call if we needed anything
Seating area small and in need of updating - some of the cushions very dirty and worn
Bar - an assortment of half empty bottles behind a counter

Bed was very hard, air conditioning very noisy, no wardrobe - just a hanging rail
Booked a double room but there was a third bed in the room??
Kettle had to be put on the floor to use as no accessible plugs available, kettle leaked
1 biscuit and 3 teabags provided - not added to during the week
No complimentary water
Bathroom - nowhere to hang anything, shower area narrow
Breakfast was served in the basement with minimal ventilation. Very little choice - hard bread and soft cereal,
no hot food - definitely not 4*. We only went once as it truly was disgusting
We booked this hotel based on reviews on your website and were so disappointed. We have always trusted Expedia and until now have not been let down. The hotel is misrepresented by the photos and reviews.
Definitely not like any other 4* hotel we have stayed in.

Nice place, staff was wonderful and accommodating. Room was nice, a little water stain on the walls, there was no place to hang towels or the toilet. Still it was a nice stay and would stay again.

Nice small hotel close to the train station that takes you to Naples and Sorento. Pompei site is close by 25 min walk depends how your pace is. Overall we had a lovely time lovely place enjoyed my time here would come back .
We got a taxi from the airport the guy said there is a meter in taxi but when we got to our hotel we were charged £113.00 euros on the meter it was £49 euros so we sat there telling him we were not going to pay as meters said £49 as long as we sat in his taxi he had bumped the price up got ripped of by the taxi .
On our return to the airport we got the train from Pompei to Naples for £3.30 and a bus for £5 euros to the airport nice and easy . Best to use train and bus service nice and easy .

Really great place, staff does not speak english but we got along fine. Was really nice and very close to down by pompeii and resteraunts. Best pizza in your life at Capi Blu. Couldnt get air to work until second day then it just came on in middle of nite.

Really great property. However we had an odd check-in experience. The hotel management tried to switch us to another inferior property in the city, when we arrived. We did have to stay in the other place for the first night. There was some excuse that they were having water problems at the original property. We also contacted Expedia to try and get relocated, that went nowhere! We called and complained, the hotel management and they switched us back to the original property we had booked, the next morning. Obviously no water problems as they were washing down front sidewalk when we arrived.

This hotel was closed when we arrived and someone came and took us to a different location that looks nothing like the pictures, all do we appreciate them not living us stranded for the night it does not justify the change in property or the refusal to refund also very disappointed at Expedia

Property was lovely, the fridge didn’t work which was a shame but overall our stay was great. Bathroom could use a little update but it was fine and the shower worked well. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly who were always happy to help and offer information about the area, transport, restaurants etc. Location is excellent It’s a 10-15 min walk to the historic site or the train station. Lots of tours available with meeting point a short walk away. Local restaurants a few minutes walk. The area felt very safe and I loved looking at the mountains surrounding us. I would stay at Hotel Pompei Be Green again. Thank you for a wonder stay.

We were changed last min because there was a water leak which can’t be repaired.. this was a 4* hotel. We were changed to a 3* hotel.. no WiFi unless you were standing directly under the rooter. Said several times. Eventually moved us.

I liked the way the hotel looked from outside. Clean, modern and well documented. Common areas are pretty. Pleasant staff.
I didn’t like the bathroom, old shower head, faded painted walls, the pressure of the showers is also poor. No complimentary water on a hot summer day. I booked for 2 people but was only given one set of towel. We arrived at past 9pm so no one in reception. Breakfast very basic. Overall ok, for the price we paid i guess.

Hidden gem. It was beautiful and close to main city centre without being to close to the noise. We took taxi from train to hotel and were taken for 30€ . It was 2 km drive. We could have taken the bus for much less. Walking distance to ruins. Note that my daughter did speak Italian and could understand comments made about our coffee choice.

My stay was just for a night but because I wasn’t going to make it before their hours (which is 10 pm) they made sure there was a way for me to get what I needed when I arrived. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was friendly and English speaking .

The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast service was first rate. Within walking distance to Pompei ruins and many excellent dining and shopping opportunities. The rooms are very clean and air conditioned. A little difficult to find on a side street but this is a plus as it is in a quiet neighborhood but just a few hundred feet from the main drag.

Would not ever stay or recommend this hotel

Very disappointed to be given an economy room when we paid for higher spec. Night 1 - shower didn’t work, walls were covered in Damp.

Got moved to a better room, appeared ok then aircon didn’t work, had to sleep with open windows, being in the city the noise is very loud and stayed that way until really late, also having to have the window open for any air, also allowed us to get bitten loads by mosquitoes, when the aircon got fixed the hot water then didn’t work for final two days.

Not to mention the rude 4.30am awakening by the fire alarm and bright emergency lighting in the room!

Very disappointed with it all.

The hotel and hotel room was large, spacious and clean. Close to the town centre so walking to shops and restaurants was easy. Also close to the pompei archiological site. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. A great stay!

Hotel check in was disappointing…. After reading many reviews about the wonderful staff, first impression wasn’t the best (irritated when I pointed out we were placed in the wrong room and I asked to be changed, asked for a late check out and the man wasn’t very willing to help, etc.)

On the positive, the hotel aesthetic is nice.

This property is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in for various reasons. It is listed as a 4 start property but is closer to 2 stars and 3 at BEST.

The hotel is incredibly noisy and for some odd reason has two of its ten rooms IN the hotel lobby where guests check in. We could not sleep any of the nights we stayed there as we were constantly woken up with noise from late check ins. There is also a LOT of noise from the levels above - we could hear every footstep and conversations of partiers at 3-4 am. When we complained several times through the night and asked for a different room to sleep, this request was denied.

The rooms itself are SIGNIFICANTLY different in real life as compared to the pictures. The rooms are dirty and stained, with the most uncomfortable hard mattress. The mattress was two twins pushed together and felt like a wooden plank. On top of this, the sheets were covered in a strange chemical smell, something similar to lye. If the hotel itself weren’t so noisy, I’m not sure we would have slept well anyways due to the disgusting bed situation.

Finally, the hotel staff at the check in counter was rude and seemed to deliberately and maliciously lead us astray. We asked for a cab to Naples and were told to take the train instead, and lied to about the time it would take to do so - we were told it would be a 15 minute train by the front desk, in reality it’s 40 minutes. We missed our lunch reservation due to this.

This hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. It is walking distance to the Pompeii ruins. The best thing about this hotel is the customer service. The ladies at the front desk will go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. One of the ladies called in a pizza order for us (we don't speak Italian) and had it delivered. The front desk also speaks very good english. Highly recommended!

This hotel was the best we have been to in Italy so far for, a fraction of the price of other hotels.

The hotel is spotless, rooms huge, and staff so friendly. With free onsite parking, just leave your car, because everything is in walking distance. The town is safe and the main street filled with gorgeous cafes, a church and the Pompeii ruins entrance itself. There is a train down the way to take you to Herculameum close by too.

Warning: Pompeii is huge, dont leave it till too late in the day like we did!
