Beautiful and nice B&B

This is a really nice b&b that exceeded my expectations. The room is spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. It is nice and quiet and conveniently located near the Museo metro station. The owner (father and son) are really hospitable.

Unique experience with many qualities

The previously published high ratings of this property are justified in my view, thanks to the attentiveness and care of the hosts towards securing a pleasant experience for their guests. The single room was very spacious, with AC, fridge, high-quality, password-protected internet connection and amenities (except a coffee/tea maker, but the hosts offered to prepare hot beverages during the day when they are there instead). Thanks to its location, it is very quiet, at least for Naples standards, and comfortable. The breakfast including the morning coffee is very tasty and, thanks to the small size of the property, food does not get wasted, which is important for environmental reasons, as is waste sorting. The early check-in time at noon is a plus and unusual to be guaranteed even in more expensive hotels. As a whole, I appreciated the stay, and wish the hosts success when retaining the excellent standards also in the future.

One of my best stays ever in Italy!! A large room with very helpful and gracious hosts. Though on a major street, Salvator Rosa near the museum, It was quiet and I slept perfectly. Grazie!

An easy recommendation

We only stayed one night but would absolutely return in the future. The B&B is full of charm and character and the owner (Angelo) is really sweet and helpful. He helped to arrange the taxi to the airport for us and couldn't have been kinder.

The location is fantastic and cannot be beaten for the price. Breakfast had a great variety of Neapolitan pastries to try.

10/10 - Would Happily Stay Here Again

Recently stayed here with my gf for 6 nights and if/when I come back to Napoli I would gladly book this place again in a heartbeat. Dario and his father Angelo are superb hosts, very courteous, helpful, friendly, always greeting you warmly and making you feel at home. Our room was huge, had a small balcony overlooking the street, but no problem with noise as there are 3 sets of doors. Thank god for the AC as it was brutally hot while we were in Napoli. The entire place was spotless; the included breakfast is more than enough to start your day; the location is great, about 10 minutes from the historical center on foot. I really can't find anything to complain about. And when you factor in the price, this place is a steal. There's a reason (actually many reasons) why it has such a high rating.
And once again, a big thank you to Dario and Angelo for their hospitality.

Friendly, Clean & Hospitable!

Excellent B&B with incredibly kind hosts! The owner and his son were both extremely helpful, quick to respond, and full of advice. Even though the owner doesn't speak very much English (his son does), it was an absolute pleasure to chat and get to know him and he had some good tips for sightseeing and transport methods for major sights and attractions. Breakfast is a collection of pastries, juices, yogurts, tea, jam and bread, and more. The owner will fix up espresso drinks for you as well! Great cappuccinos. The location is a bit tricky to find and if you're not from a big city like New York can be a bit jarring but once you're inside it's extremely clean and comfortable. Very close to the historical district and national museum. 10/10, highly recommended!

Family Owned, Treat you like Family.

Actually it was Excellent.Minor issue with Language barrier at first, but resolved. Owner and Staff were very polite and professional. Assisted us with any requests we had. Treated us with respect and like family. Angelo was a pleasure to get to know. Room was Excellent, roomy and clean. Taxi took us straight to B&B, no issues. Easy to remember when going out. Breakfast was great also. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing to stay in Naples.

Very pleasant stay

Great place and very reasonably priced. We found the place, no problem, hosts are very welcoming. Bathroom is spacious and bedroom even more so, both cleaned every day by the very nice house keeper. Air con is in good working order in room which was most noticed during the heatwave! Breakfast is served in the b'n'b in the living/ dining room next to reception on the same floor. Very nice it was with a great selection of coffees, teas, juices, water, pastries (fresh and packaged) with choice of yoghurt too :-) we couldn't find anything at all to fault and it is located close to the centre, metro and other local attractions. We even extended our stay by a couple of extra nights too! Would recommend.

- On a very noisy street so if your room overlooks the street and you are a light sleeper then you better bring ear plugs

I enjoyed my stay at Terra Mia and would stay there again when I return to Naples. The owner, Angelo, is very nice. One note: Angelo speaks very little English and I enjoyed the fact that I had to speak to him in Italian.

The location is in the heart of Naples but you have to buzz to get in and he wasn't there when we arrived so you have to call him but he does not speak English and we didn't get any international phone plan. The mattress is rock hard so uncomfortable and it is really loud with thin walls and being on the street side of the building. Also the blinds are really thin so re room isn't very dark for sleeping. The breakfast leaves something to be desired, it is your basic continental breakfast consisting of pasties cereal and yogurt. The owner is friendly and helps as much as he can but does not speak English so can make it difficult and you can only pay with cash.

Very nice family runs this small hotel. They were attentive to our needs and answered questions we had about the city. Not many restaurants close by. A rather dicey neighborhood.

The hotel clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel were not up to American standards as far as cleanliness. We had black mold growing in our room. also, there was no free parking g as listed, and the on-site parking was an garage in the terrace for €20 a day

Nice place in a dirty city

This place was very friendly. Even though he spoke very little english, he put full effort into getting his point across. (Google translate is your friend :p) He is available through the day as required and his own place is within the B&B complex.

The breakfast was nice, we enjoyed the chocolate croissant and cereal. The breakfast was a typical European spread - but it was better than the other B&Bs we stayed at during our trip to Italy. There was a good variety of pastries and drinks.

We had checked out from the B&B and since we were in Naples till the evening - he very kindly offered to hold on to our luggage for us.

Use your water efficiently here as the hot water may run out or wait for a bit before the second person showers.

The neighborhood around here is very dirty ... but that's all of Naples!

\"Different\" B&B

Not far from the airport. Difficult to spot in a dark courtyard behind a huge wooden door on a filthy street. Room \"quaint\", but really clean and very large. Proprietor very hospitable and tries very hard to be helpful, though he speaks no English, we managed with some help form his son and he encouraged us to borrow his guide books. If you don't mind walking on a dirty street, its a short walk to the archaeology museum, the main streets and public transportation. Was not afraid to walk after dark. Pretty good for the price. Naples is just not an attractive city, but beautiful subway station!

Great Bed and Breakfast in central Naples

Terra Mia was ideally placed near to the archaeological museum and the old town of Naples and close to the Museo Metro station. We found our host very helpful, even although we don't have much Italian and he doesn't have much English. The shower in our room was in need of repair, but that was a minor issue for us. Terra Mia is a Bed and Breakfast, so don't expect full hotel facilities, but if you are looking for a characterful, good value B&B ideally placed in Naples, this is for you.

Handy and inexpensive

Terra Mia is definitely a basic accommodation, priced right. The room was not big but not too small. Air conditioning worked well, the bed was clean and comfortable. The location is very good. Everything is walkable. Hosts were very friendly, cordial and helpful.

Very friendly owner

The owner went out of way to get fresh pastries that were specialties of the region for us each day. The sign is a little hard to find, so just look for the two big wooden doors under the second story flag sign. You can walk from the train station, but you may prefer to use the very convenient and speedy metro that stops just a few blocks away.

If you love naples & like museums, this is for you

The place is very close to the archeological museum, within walking distance to bus stops that takes you to Capodimonte museum, and within a slightly longer walk to Piazza Dante and Duomo. Very clean, spacious room, friendly and helpful owner, very competitive price. What more can one ask for. It's true that the street outside is chaotic and loud, but that's Naples. Unless you want to live on the hills, near the Capoditmonte, for example, you can either take it or leave it. Besides, once you close the window, the street is shut off from you and it's very quiet.

A friendly apartment hotel

A pleasant place to stay, near to the museums and not far from the old town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Whilst the furnishings are mostly modern, the upkeep is typically Italian (e.g. shower door taken off and just left in corner of bathroom). Finding the entrance is a challenge - Its in one of many apartments in the block, and you need to find the buzzer button amongst many on the panel outside to be let in.

The perfect place!

This is the place to stay in Naples. Angelo and Dario (who speaks English) are the perfect hosts. They were warm, welcoming, attentive and gracious. Dario was always available for suggestions for sites and restaurants, and helpful with directions. As for the B&B, it was, most definitely, the cleanest place I ever stayed in (to include 5 star hotels!). The place was spotless. My room was comfortable, the bed was cozy and plenty of hot water with great pressure. If you are bothered by the street noise, as some people have complained about, just close the big wooden shutters! Breakfast was also more than adequate. Selections included two types of cereals, rolls, fresh brioche, fresh chocolate croissants, butter, jams, two juices and your choice of coffee. Angelo's cappuccino was the best!

The location was good with many mini-markets nearby, as well as deli's, fresh produce and take away restaurants. The Bank of Napoli has an ATM down the street, where there was also tons of stores for purchasing just about anything you may want. The historic center, where many sites are located, was about a 10 minute walk. The metro was also about a 5 minute walk away. It truly was the perfect place to stay. I plan to return here for an extended visit in the future. And if you decide to visit, say hello to Bernie (the canary). He will sing every morning for you!

perfect location, fabulous hosts

The location couldn't be better. Right by the Archeological Museum, and a short walk to Metro stations for three different lines (Museo, Cavour and Dante) and to the Historical Center (Centro Storico) with great food choices nearby. The hosts treated us like family. Poor reading light by the bed is the only thing that's not deserving of more than the top rating we could give this place.

Erinomainen hinta-laatusuhde

Mukava pieni majoituspaikka. Sijainti hieman syrjässä, mutta metropysäkki kuitenkin kävelymatkan päässä. Majoituspaikan löytäminen hieman hankalaa, kadun numeron kohdalla on iso puinen ovi, mistä pääsee sisäpihalle ja majoituspaikan sisäänkäynti on toisesta kerroksesta. Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan erittäin hyvä. Erityisen ystävällinen palvelu omistajaperheen jäseniltä, oli tervetullut olo. Aamupalalla sai esimerkiksi herkullisen juuri valmistetun cappuccinon. Huone oli erittäin siisti.

Nous avons toujours eu réponse à nos questions et même simplement pu échanger malgré la barrière de la langue.
Le centre historique est accessible à pieds et le métro et à moins de 10 min de marche.

La location è molto centrale a due passi dal museo archeologico e dalla stazione della metro.

Hotel consigliato, qualità/prezzo super!

Struttura piccolina ricavata al 1° piano di un palazzo, non lontana dalla fermata della metro, in una zona non delle migliori, ma comunque tranquilla.
All'interno si presenta carina e molto curata nei dettagli, stanza carina e spaziosa con aria condizionata, frigo-bar e wi-fi. Letti comodi e bagno con doccia abbastanza ampio e funzionale.
Ambiente familiare e titolare gentile e disponibile. Buona la colazione (tradizionale italiana) con prodotti freschi di pasticceria, caffè/cappuccino/the, cereali, succhi, yogurt ecc...
Complessivamente il giudizio è ottimo, qualità/prezzo credo tra i migliori di Napoli.

La struttura e’ molto più di un semplice b&b, posizione, camera spaziosa, bagno privato, set di cortesia, colazione, lo rendono praticamente un hotel, ma la stella superiore viene data dal signor Angelo, veramente una persona squisita! My experience in Naples has been fantastic, people are friendly, do not make you
feel alone. There's lot to see: museums, churches, palaces and the typical streets
in the centre. The staff at Hotel Terra Mia is very nice and makes you feel at home.

Une chambre d'hôte parfaitement tenue et un accueil d'une grande gentillesse, Terra Mia est un lieu idéal pour découvrir Naples, à une distance correcte du métro, des Decumani et des quartiers espagnols. La chambre, bien que donnant sur une rue bruyante, était bien isolée ainsi que climatisée.

Situato in un antico palazzo nel centro di Napoli a due passi dal Museo e dalla stazione della metro, il B&B Terra Mia è caratterizzato nella cura dei particolari sia delle stanze che di tutto l'ambiente. Dotato di wifi free per gli ospiti, climatizzazione degli ambienti, ascensore, gode dei comfort necessari per un soggiorno gradevole nella città. La cortesia e la disponibilità dei proprietari fanno il resto. Il giudizio non può che essere ottimo. 5 stelle meritatissime.

Struttura confortevole, professionalità e cortesia dei proprietari danno a Napoli un sapore ancora più magico, la posizione del B&B è comoda vicino alla metropolitana e con il servizio bus per il museo di Capodimonte.
Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare al B&B Terra Mia.

Bred & breakfast molto particolare

Dedicato a Pino Daniele questo B&B ha un'atmosfera molto napoletana, curato nei particolari, molto accogliente e pulito, la camera molto spaziosa, situato appena sopra il centro storico, metropolitana vicina, consigliato.

Visites de Naples, Pompéi, Herculanum, du Musée etc.... Chambre très spacieuse et confortable mais néanmoins un peu bruyante (mais c'est Naples...)
Darío super sympa et de bon conseil !
Métro à proximité ! Circulation hallucinante... Ville pas chère.

J'ai réservé ce B&B pour ma mère et son amie et je le recommande!
B&b très charmant avec une jolie chambre verte. Il se trouve derrière une porte en bois. L'endroit est sécurisé. Angelo est adorable, disponible et vraiment très chaleureux. Il a également appelé le taxi pour le retour à l'aéroport. Même si notre niveau d'italien n'était pas fameux, on s'est tous très bien compris. Le petit déjeuner était top et copieux. Foncez !!

simple but clean accomodation

Very nice, friendly and helpful guy at the reception.
Small but comfortable place very near to the archeological museum. Main street is very noisy and bussy but windows keep the room quiet.

Lovely and elaborate breakfast.
