We had booked(I believe) a superior room, arrived, it was on the third floor. No way I could walk up(No elevator) hostess was very accommodating, showed me two available rooms. Picked a small two bed on the first floor(104). We actually had a good time…right next to the small patio and small pool. Breakfast right around the corner. All-in-all a very quiet accommodating location. SuperMarket(think: Whole Foods) half block away. We did a 15 minute walk to the Real Slaverry Mall. No problem…neighborhood was quiet and clean….noticed a lot of Embassies nearby. Uber is available, taxis as well. Two thumbs up. Definitely recommend it for a quiet relaxing trip. If you’re looking for a flashy, noisy all night party….this is not that. Beds were not cushy but were comfortable. I was always asked if I wanted my room serviced. The staff was superior

Small quaint hotel in the quiet upscale neighborhood of San Isidro. Well kept, if somewhat dated rooms. Three floors, no elevators which hindered me getting the Superior room. No way could walk up those stairs. The room I did get 104 was right next to outdoor patio and small pool…I liked the convenience of walking outdoors. The breakfast was ample and fresh….very accommodating. Staff were attentive as well. Walked to the Real Slavery mall, about a 15 minute walk….grocery store right down the street. Great stay….Thanks Golf Boutique!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant on site was a bonus and the chefs were amazing. My only complaint is that the room we stayed in was very plain and needs a complete renovation. The bed was very uncomfortable and considering the price we paid, we had higher expectations.

We stayed 4 nights. We had 2 rooms; my wife and I in one, daughter and granddaughters in the other. Both were roomy and comfortable!
The staff is super nice and helpful; they went out of their way to help with whatever we asked. The property is quiet and great sleeping. The free breakfasts were good variety and we lingered over with our granddaughters (10 and 6) each morning. Ate paid meals twice in the dining room (lunch and dinner) and both were good. Dipped in the brisk pool on two days and we all enjoyed that courtyard. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest restaurants not in the hotel. We would definitely come back!

This is a great place to stay in San Isidro. I would also say, if you want to get a little distance away from the noise and congestion of Miraflores this would be a great choice. Staff is super friendly and helpful, located in a residential neighborhood. Oh, and it's a bargain!

Not all staff knowledgeable about area amenities or services. There are 3 free electric bus routes within San Isidro boundary. Except for complimentary 2 bottles of water, there was no coffee or water offered. Room was large and nice, but like all the other hotels, duvet was heavy and too warm, if you don't crank the A/C cold. Walking distance to cliff-top walk along Pacific Ocean. Close to a supermarket.

Cozy, quaint, small and pleasant. Felt like a Bed and breakfast. Staff is extremely pleasant and cooperative. Valuable help provided in scheduling the COVID test required to travel. Dana, Monica, Jhan, Gabriela, Rosina made us feel at home. Always very helpful and accommodating! Chef Samuel prepared excellent meals. We spent a week at the Senior Suite and enjoyed our stay very much. It was nice sitting at the terrace in the morning and listening to the birds sing.

Good homely feel in a quiet part of Lima. Tasteful decor. Comfortable well appointed room with good amenities. Excellent breakfast prepared by Mrs Guevara, who was very attentive. Checkin and desk staff are extremely helpful and accommodating.
Pleasant garden area at the back with a small swimming pool. Good WiFi.

The best of this hotel is the Staff. They always were kindness and prompt responder for any request. The location also is good. Very safe neighborhood.

The only thing dislike was the humidity level in the room. I know has Lima has a humidity climate, so, I recommend improve the humidity control inside the room, to avoid mold and wet in carpets, furniture and linens.

Hidden Gem in San Isidro, Lima.

A lovely boutique hotel located in a beautiful, quiet district in Lima. The staff were amazing! Monica and Marie at the front desk were incredibly helpful (especially when our flight out of Lima was canceled. They were persistent in getting information for us and readilyd accommodated our extended stay at the hotel. The chef was superb and our meal was delicious. He was also willing to prepare a dinner, not on the menu and to our specifications. He even helped us with our luggage. Overall, we had a very personalized experience. It felt like \"home\". We would definitely return!

Reasonally priced for a historical beautiful home. Everything a big hotel has but better.

This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet, upscale neighbourhood. Great dining and shopping relatively close and away from the tacky tourist part of town. The cost was surprisingly reasonable and we were delighted to receive an upgrade when we checked in (without requesting one!). We looked out over the pool which was tiny but nice to have a courtyard view. We would recommend Hotel Golf to others and will certainly stay there if/when we return to Lima.

Poor check in. Eventually given our room key and then wandered aimlessly trying to find our room which turned out had no number on the door. Tub was dirty and tv did not work. Pool dirty and too cold to use. Disappointed as we were told it was a high end hotel

Solid 4 stars. 15 min walk from the beach.

It was a good hotel for the money and in a very nice neighborhood. There is a grocery store 2 blocks away and a Catholic Church about a block away for those needing to fulfill their Sunday obligation.

Fine but not what we were expecting!

We booked this hotel by filtering Expedia specifically to 'airport hotel' - having now been to Lima, there is a huge list of hotels in that filter which shouldnt be there. This obviously isn't the hotels fault! We stayed here purely as a one night stop over, so the 1 hour 20 min taxi ride from the airport wasn't quite what we had in mind!!!

The hotel itself is fine. Being brutally honest, based on the pictures I was expecting a modern business like hotel. It's actually pretty old fashioned and could do with a bit of a face lift. The airport taxis were all seamless - the driver is super sweet! The walls are paper thin so trying to get to asleep against the noise of the front desk staff chatting was a bit tricky.

In summary - all fine but not what we had in mind!

Overnight in Lima in transit. Hotel is about 40 minutes from the airport but there are few options (at this price) closer than that. Rooms were large but could be better maintained. Street noise is bothersome to a light sleeper like myself.

This hotel is located in a very good neighborhood in San Isidro. However, the rooms are not well kept. The bathroom ceilings were moldy and extremely dirty! Hair dryer not working properly .
Breakfast area too small no space to sit down and enjoy your food if you are not an early bird, although they can accommodate you in the living room area.
A c+ hotel in a A+ neighborhood.

Visiting Lima can be quite challenging. I was travelling with my 9 year old daughter and the staff in the hotel helped us with every detail so we would be safe during our days visiting the city. The hotel is located in a beautiful part of the city, very safe, clean and pleasant. It is a nice hotel, with extremely helpful and efficient staff who would accommodate your needs and requests at no time. The hotel provides a wonderful breakfast, and we had dinner once there and it was also very tasty. During the evenings you can relax in the patio, no noise around this quiet hotel.

I travel regularly to Peru and usually always stay in the same couple of hotels. On this trip, I decided to branch out and try something new, and I'm so happy I did! El Golf Hotel Boutique was a wonderful surprise. The hotel staff were friendly, responsive, and very welcoming. The common areas of the hotel were lovely, clean and warm. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

It was also my first time staying in San Isidro. It seemed like a safe area, quiet neighborhood, and easy to access. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.

Nice hotel, great neighborhood

This chic hotel is located on a quiet side street in San Isidro, a beautiful neighborhood in Lima close to the golf course and Miraflores. The rooms are huge and impeccably clean. The king size bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot with great water pressure. Lots of English channels on the TV, too. Breakfast in the morning was good and overall service at the hotel was great. Didn't use the pool but it's a nice amenity. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Great hotel in San Isidro

Perfect boutique hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfy but not very dark so don't forget your sleeping eye mask.
Breakfast was good, as was the service.
The hotel arranged our tours though Limavison, which were great. We did the city tour, Barranco night show and the Pachamama/horse show! They pick you up and drop you off at your hotel so super convenient.
There is a grocery store within walking distance of the hotel so it worked out just great! Lima is an beautiful city with a lot of traffic and brave pedestrians! It's seriously like playing Frogger! Anyway, have fun and Bon Voyage my friends!!

Pleasantly situated in a residential area. Safe & secure.

Rudest hotel I've stayed at.

Not sure what the story was but its like the hotel had never had a single traveling woman check in. Everything seemed to be a struggle for them. I got there 13 minutes early, but check in was at 2. The receptionist seemed bothered that I got there early. I'd been traveling Peru for 12 days and every place I stayed from hostels to 4 star hotels offered free tea. Again the receptionist seemed put out I asked for tea (although I was paying for it). The behavior continued with any question I asked. Room was tiny, right above kitchen so it was noisy, less than helpful with directions. Wasn't worth half of what I paid. Much better hotels in the area. First Peruvian people I encountered that were rude. Manager just stood around not helping or being kind.
