This hotel is beautiful to look at, very well looked after and presented. The adults only serenity is lost however in having the bar in the middle of the complex playing beach music all day long into the night, with people gathering around the pool right outside your room door and window. This is a fault of the design but I believe the staff did take action to improve things for guests

This hotel describes itself as a 5 star hotel. The staff were 5 star. Everything else was 3 star at best. The place is dated and our room was like a cabana with a shower and bed.
You are 1 minute from a beach, but miles away from the main attractions of the island.
If you are looking for 5 star accommodation, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a safe hotel and have low expectations this is a great value.

Hotel is very close to the beach but offers peace and quiet away from the crowds. Nice and secluded, noone looking into the hotel from outside. 2 nice pools to swim in. Excellent choice for breakfast of hot and cold dishes. Service is very attentive and helpful from all the staff, they all seem genuinely happy to help.

The hotel is beautiful, wonderful breakfast and lovely staff. Location of our room was great, however it was rather dated and didn't match the standard of the hotel. The hotel is 5 star but the room was 3 star. Maybe we were unlucky and there's more updated rooms there. But other than that it was stunning and it was incredible value. I would go there again as the good outweighs the not so good and it's great for the price.

Nobody controls the room before check in. There is a coffee machine in the room but no coffee or capsules, the tube was broken and full of dirt in it. Just one bathrobe for two person. You cant find any instructions in the room, like telephone numbers of reception,room service etc. you have think about it. Also have a mini bar but you dont know the prices. No loundry bag.
I called for coffee capsules for two days. Also for two days nobody cleaned the tube or repair it, second day they ask do you want to change the room unfortunately we’ve been for two days. Best part is when I want ice they told me they don’t have so much so we couldn’t gave you the ice that we have right now.
Hotel manager never turned back about the issues also not appologized that we’ve been through. Absolutely wrong choice.

We came here for two weeks and loved it so much we stayed for another 10 days(still here now till 4/7/21) and have three other family members joining us today...this place is beautifully designed and the staff cannot do enough for you to name a few George,Dimitra,Konstantinos,Mitsos,Elena,Raphaela,Anna,Pangiotis,Kolleroi...all a credit to this hotel and the chambermaids all very polite...do nog miss breakfast it is utterly different every day and OUTSTANDING

Hard to fault, a restful haven with attentive friendly service from all staff. Most use the restaurant for breakfast - which offers a wide choice to suit all tastes- and go to the seafront tavernas for other meals but they served up an excellent meal the night we arrived.

Just got back from a wonderful stay at the La Mer hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming throughout the whole stay. We didn’t actually realise when we booked how good the location was - it’s only about a minutes walk to the beach and a long strip of various restaurants, shops and a couple of bars. The hotel was very quiet, calm and relaxed. And very pretty inside - as we pulled up we maybe the external decor was a little underwhelming but as soon as we got inside we thought it was lovely. The staff were very helpful at recommending places to visit and arranging cars etc. I would highly recommend and hope to return.

Outstanding hotel and SPA. The staff were lovely, attentive with great banter. We had some really good recommendations for places to visit from the staff. SPA is very well equipped and the massages were epic. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Santorini. Stay in Kamari and rent a car or ATV to visit Oia and Fira, as Kamari is alot more relaxing and has great restaurants all along the beach.

This is a very stylish hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and very quiet, which is what we wanted. All of the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Everywhere was kept clean and tidy.
The great thing is, it is literally a 3 minute stroll to the beach and a vast range of bars, restaurants and shops which cater for every taste.
If there was any criticism, it is in the flight path for the airport so there is noise from planes, but to be honest, it was not off putting at all and it was quite entertaining at night sitting in a beachfront restaurant watching them fly in over the sea.
We will definitely be returning to this hotel.
Shame the airport hasn’t got its act together, arrival was great, leaving was absolutely awful, in 40 years of flying I have never been to such a disorganised chaotic mess!!!!

Excellent place to stay in Santorini
This superb property is 15minutes drive from the airport and has a 24hour front desk. An airport transfer can be easily arranged. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from Kamari beach. The Guest relations desk can book tours, or arrange car hire. The local bus stop is 10 minutes walk away. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. With two pools to choose from , a gym and a spa you may want to just stay in the hotel most of the time!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It's so peaceful and tranquil. Ideal for beach lovers as it was literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Food was Ok, not many options if you are vegetarian or vegan. The Spa was an absolute treat and would recommend this hotel to adults looking for a luxury quiet space to stay in Santorini.

Staff are amazing and always very welcoming. The rooms are situated around and overlooking the 2 x swimming pools. Breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever had. And the hotel has free sun beds on the beach and strip which is only a 2 minute walk.
The only thing I would mention is hotel is very close to the airport, so you do hear the planes flying over throughout the night (if you are a light sleeper). But to be fair I am a light sleeper and you get used to them.
All in all would recommend 100%!

From time we walked through the main entrance the welcome from the staff was well above any expectations. The Hotel was all you could want clean, relaxing, nothing was never too much from the staff always there to help or have a pleasant chat just to pass the time while relaxing in the sun. Our breakfast was extremely good and plenty of variety. The Hotel was in a very convenient location for the Beach and access to all the Restaurants and Bars (less than a 5 min walk). We were in standard room which was perfect for our stay, if there has to be one single improvement it would be a Tea & Coffee Maker in the room. If you decide to go I firmly believe you will not be disappointed. If you do not come away with a relaxed smile and a desire to return, then nothing will ever please you?

Hotel is really nice and in a great location a minute walk from the main \"strip\" in Kamari. We got a room with an outdoor Jacuzzi. The room was really nice and comfortable however the Jacuzzi was really a 3ft x 7ft pool. It didn't have temperature adjustments so was too cold in the evening. Also it wasn't as comfortbale as a normal Jacuzzi. Breakfast was good and had a variety to choose from and staff were very friendly. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Excellent staff, and lovely variety of choices at breakfast. Location within 50m of beach. Seems to be renowned by locals to be the best hotel in Kamari, and deservedly so. The best testimony I can give is that we'd like to go back soon!

When we arrived, we were given and drink and watermelon until the room was ready. This was a great start and the hotel is close to the beach. When we entered our room, it was two twin beds pushed together when we requested a full. The air was not working, the safe was barely attached, and the showe door was not opening. The hotel assisted us with these things. Then we were eventually moved into an upgrade on our last night, which appeared to be a normal room. The door handle on the bathroom was broken and there were ants all over the floor and bathroom. The hotel tired to make up for it, but I was still disappoint with the time it took to move to the room we should have had in the first play.

Lovely hotel so close to the beach
Flights were OK, the usual Easyjet experience. Very attractive hotel with just a short level walk to the beach and bars, restaurants etc. Easy access to transport links and plenty of organised trips to choose from. Fantastic breakfast buffet, complete with a glass of bubbly to make it special. Pool bar for drinks and snacks and restaurant open to cover the entire day!!! Very good adult only hotel.

Nothing bad to say, gorgeous hotel
I had read positive reviews before booking this hotel and had searched for months tying to find one that met all of our needs and we were not disappointed... The hotel was simply gorgeous, the rooms are comfortable, unique and the whole atmosphere was relaxing, pleasing and different to anywhere we have stayed before. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and wold do anything for you to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was rally good with. Wide range of foods to cover every taste. We sat outside everyday next to the pool and the hotel was not in the least but rowdy or too over rowded. The location was fantastic too within walking distance of the beach, bars, restaurants and the local bus stop which takes you to the capital Fira and picturesque Oia. A great trip all round and would definitely return.

Excellent service, fun staff and very attractive layout (2 pools, outdoor bar, gorgeous breakfast). Rooms felt a little dated and not super modern, but comfortable enough. Management is pretty strict - don't expect to negotiate refunds if you miss a night. But overall fair I guess and offset by the great service from the hotel staff. Would def stay again! Right on the beach and steps from the Kamari Beach boardwalk so super super convenient!

The people are amazing at this hotel and will do all that they can to help you. We had a great experience there, food is great, hotel very clean - rooms on a little small side unless you get a suite or executive room but that really doesn't factor into this as everything else is so great. I would say intimate and personalised 5 star hotel is the best description.

We booked Santorini as we were invited to a wedding and recommended to La Mer by the parents of the bride. It was exactly the type of hotel we were looking for, small, adult only, peaceful, super clean. We had a basic room but it was more than adequate. Comfy bed, great shower over a Jacuzzi bath, efficient air conditioning, plenty of storage space with a lovely large private terrace. We had breakfasts and several lunches all food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff were at all times, friendly, efficient and smiley! The small bar offers a good selection of wines, beers, cocktails, coffees etc. Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable for this type of quality hotel. Only 2 minutes walk to the sea front of Kamari with all it's many restaurants and bars. Should we visit Kamari again we would definitely stay at La Mer and have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends looking for a peaceful stay in a superb small hotel. Excellent hotel close to the beach
Magical stay in a beautiful and quiet hotel. Staff is very nice, always smiling and caring for our comfort. It feels like home because you see the same staff everyday and you get to know them better. Cleanliness is perfect you smell it everywhere. The restaurant on the rooftop is excellent : food and view . Being a low mobility person I got an adapted room that was perfect for my condition. And I got the best adapted bathroom that I ever got. I strongly recommend this hotel for quiet and relaxing vacations.

After searching for a few weeks, I found this resort and booked it based on the reviews. We definitely were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff greeted us and made sure we felt at home. The daily breakfast buffet was amazing! So many options and so filling. They even had an omelette and crepe station.
The hotel has 3 small pools, just make sure to get there early to reserve a lounge chair. If you can't find one, usually you can ask a staff person to bring out another one for you. The room was comfortable and a nice size. The wi-fi worked very well compared to most places around the island.
The hotel is located just a 3-4 minute walk from Kamari Beach which has tons of food options and charming shops. Most places stay open late, past midnight so you don't have to worry about not finding a late dinner or snack when you get back from other parts of the island. Speaking of, there are 2 bus stops less than a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The bus is easy to use and will take you all around the island to places like Oia, Imerovigli, and Fira to catch the amazing Santorini sunsets for under $10 roundtrip.

We are 2 couples traveling together in Greece. The welcome drinks by the bar really make you feel special! We love Rosemary and her tour of the property. The welcome wine and fruit in our room was a very nice touch as well. We booked 2 rooms and the hotel accommodations exceeded our expectations. We had rooms close to each other and often all 4 of us sat on the balcony of one room to share a bottle of wine before heading out for the evening. There was plenty of space with fantastic views. The hotel service was excellent by all staff. They helped us arrange our transportation to and from the airport as well as around the island. After the 1st night we realized how easy the bus system is and too the bus to explore other areas of the island. We very much enjoyed the breakfast every morning including mimosas! Not to be missed! Great location to the beach and restaurants. Kamari Beach has a similar feel to the South Beach strip in Miami. Great energy and beautiful views. The beach isn't great, recommend shoes for the water since it's so rocky. The water and vibes make up for the lack of sand. We also enjoyed the pool at the hotel. We loved our server Mary. We would recommend this hotel and hope to visit again!

Brilliant boutique hotel with fantastic staff
We hugely enjoyed a relaxing and pampered week here thanks to the attentive staff, great location and modern facilities. As an adults only hotel the clientele are international and sophisticated and we found everyone is respectful of letting fellow holidaymakers enjoy their stay in peace. Generous breakfast buffet and plenty of sunbeds! Only downside is, like much of the Kamari beach area, the hotel is close to the flightpath for the nearby airport, so the serenity is interrupted occasionally by landing planes. That did not tarnish our stay and we would certainly return. One tip, don't rely on the hotel to arrange inbound airport transfers, as their provider is unreliable and expensive. We found it quicker to get a rank taxi for the 10 minute journey. Of the excursions offered by the hotel via Kamari Tours we enjoyed the sunset cruise and the wine tasting tour. The nearby beach has plenty of eating choices and the hotel has a deal for free sun loungers with one of the restaurants. They thought of everything!
