My overall impression of that hotel: Never again!
The attitude of the staff does not correspond to a 5* hotel, but rather a cheap hostel. "All-inclusive" statement is false - only cheap and low level drink is included. Any normal wines and cocktails are at the additional cost.
Shouts and attitude of the local staff are just killing the vacation mood.

Resort was ok. Service at the restaurant was good but the food was mediocre, it could’ve been better. Front desk customer service was horrible. I had to call for an issue with one of the neighbors for loud music, screaming and the guy hung up the phone. Walked to the front desk to complain and the guy said it will be taken care of and after half hour nothing was done. I was contemplating booking my vacation for next year there but I will be booking elsewhere.

It was amazing! The venue was beautiful! The staff help with excursion selection, food was great. The beach, the bars, the local dances. I was over the moon and glad I chose this location!

Lie, Deny, Accept No Fault!

We didn't get the room we booked. They told us that the images / descriptions on hotels.com is inaccurate. There is no wifi in the room. The breakfast was inedible, the mattresses rock hard, and the refrigerator doesn't work.

It became a jumbled mess when we called to ask questions. We were looking for a beach front room which we reserved. It iwas 130 euro a night. The "sea view room" was 85 and the "partial sea view room" was 70. When we arrived we were told that we reserved a "sea view room" which is half a block away from the beach. I explained we reserved a beach front room but the front desk denied it even existed. I had to walk the grounds to show him!!!

It was obvious that the room was given to someone else so I settled for a "Sea view room" but I booked it on hotels.com because he was still insisting on 130 euro. I was told he couldn't fulfill a hotels.com reservation until THE NEXT MORNING! After waiting two hours we finally got into a room.

The next morning I get a call from the reservations manager who denied the existence of the beach front rooms until I showed her a map! She then told me that I'm in a "Front sea view room" which is different than the "Sea view room". I showed her pictures on hotels.com that I was in the exact room I booked. She tried to downgrade our room to a "partial sea view" !!!

Fed up, I just left and called my bank for a refund. I'm on vacation, no time for this nonsense.

Pros: Gorgeous location, friendly staff, clean, good entertainment.
Cons: Modest size rooms, lots of rules (only certain types of drinks are included, can only be wet next to pool, can't swim at night, can't bring food back to room, etc.), mostly elderly clientele, rocky beach, internet is spotty and only available in public areas (not in guest rooms), no room service, not a lot of food variety day to day, spa staff was absent for 3 straight days.

Five days prior to our arrival, an email was received informing of an error regarding our reservation. Apparently, the resort was overbooked and unable to honor our prepaid reservation submitted two months prior! When we checked on line, the exact days were still available for THREE TIMES the price I paid....hmmm, I'm smelling some local fish!

It is 4* but could improve cleaniness

We stayed in October for 5 nights, staff were really nice and helpful. Food could be improved by not having too many flies on the food and every where!! More variety, in the buffet as it became boring...after the second day.

More activities inside the resort for example a show, music every night, zumba ect as nights were a bit quiet and could get boring.

A relaxed hotel

Myself and my husband stayed here in June 2015. We were welcomed into the hotel and although had booked half board we were given all inclusive. The room we had booked was a partial sea view which was excactly that as the view directly in front of us was of a wall but if you leaned over the balcony and looked out to the side you could see the sea, we asked for a better room and two days later we were given a marginally better room although this did look over a derelict hotel that had a horse wandering around in it. The food was typical all inclusive edible but not great. The hotel staff were wonderful truly the most friendly and helpful hotel staff I have met especially Alki the barman. The hotel is close to a very small parade of shops and tavernas but don't expect great dining experience although the staff in these places make up for the lack of food choices.
Pool area was clean and quiet never a problem getting a sun bed and the pool bar had adequate snacks and drinks
Overall if you want a chilled out, clean and friendly hotel this is the place to visit make sure you visit the many beaches along the coast as they are wonderful especially a little place called bali.

Used the hotel as a base for a friend's wedding in Georgoupolis
The hotel manager arranged for a driver to collect us at Heraklion & as we arrived late evening had supper for us in the fridge in the room,
It's a family resort hotel but keen to make the most Independant travellers on budget flights from uk,
The town's 10mims away on an hourly bus which costs 1.60€,
I'd go back again.

Ein sehr schöner großer Hotelkomplex direkt am Meer. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und spricht verschiedenste Sprachen. Wir waren sehr traurig, wieder fahren zu müssen. In der direkten Umgebung besteht keine Möglichkeit zu Fuß zu flanieren bzw. zu bummeln. Man muss erst einen Kilometer die kleine Straße neben der Schnellstraße entlang gehen um an ein paar Geschäfte und Restaurants zu kommen.
Wer aber mobil ist, oder sowieso den Urlaub nur im Hotel verbringen möchte, dem wird es an nichts mangeln.

All inclusive did not meet our expectations. The drink and snack offer included was limited and of poor quality. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good. Coffee was missing from lunch and dinner. Drinks were only served at the pool bar. Everything in the lobby bar was chargeable. We are used to almost all hotel services being included in all inclusive. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

All inclusive ei vastannut odotuksia. Juomat olivat ilmaisia vain allasbaarissa, mutta eivät ilmaisia lounge baarissa. Kuka illalla viitsi mennä aina rantaan 100 metrin päähän. Kaikki juomat olivat paikallisia "merkkituotteita", mutta tunnetut kansainväliset juomamerkit eivät sisältyneet all inclusiveen. Hanaolutta ja hanaviiniä🙄. Lounaalla ja päivällisellä ei tarjottu kahvia tai jäätelöä. Allasbaarissa oli heikko snack tarjoilu. All inclusive hinta/laatu ei kohdanneet.

Établissement correct personnel au top surtout la barmaid Daniela qui est toujours souriante et fait son maximum pour satisfaire tout le monde par contre il y a trop de supplément par exemple pour le coffre dans la chambre et pour le dernier jour pour 2 h en plus dans la chambre 20€ pour pouvoir prendre une douche !

Her er det rolig med bade basseng for både store og små, om du ikke liker for mye varme så kan du boltre deg langs sjøen der det er en del vind og veldig behagelig. Du kan også velge all inclusive og halv pensjon eller bare frokost, finnes noen restauranter like i nærheten.

Good place to have relaxing holiday

Nice stay. Pool area was nice and directly connected to beach. Relaxing time with all inclusive service. Quite old hotel but mostly in good shape. Tennis court was bad and also ping pong equipment etc should be replaced.. Good service. Specially our early check-in was really well organized

Lo más reseñable desde el punto de vista positivo es la limpieza de las instalaciones, y la amabilidad del personal de Por otra parte, el personal de recepción, y en concreto María, siempre están dispuestos a solucionar cualquier problema o necesidad del cliente.
Mención aparte es la eficiencia y discrección de Joseph (todo un caballero), y de Lina (tan cariñosa y cercana). Ella fue, de largo, la empleada del hotel que nos alegraba el día. Un tesoro del Hydramis Palace, que nunca debe ir a un museo.

Belle réception et joli lobby. L'accueil est très bien et à la réception ils sont très sympas. On avait réservé deux chambres avec piscine partagé. Après deux jours on a enfin pu avoir deux chambres côte à côte mais jamais partagé la même piscine. Mais à leur décharge, on avait réservé deux semaines avant.
Les chambres sont de taille correcte mais pas très grande. La salle de bain est plutôt petite. La piscine 3x4m.
Vue sur un immeuble inachevé mais ce n'est pas gênant car le jardin à côté est joli.
Le petit déjeuner est très correct et très complet. Pas mangé au resto car B&B et vu le prix, on mangeait mieux et moins cher autour.
La piscine est très agréable et la mer et très bien, même si la plage est de galets. Les transats sont sur du sable. Une fois ds la mer après 3 m c'est du sable. Mais attention bcp de petits rochers. Dans l'ensemble bien. Vaut le prix.

Väldigt trevliga personal! både i restaurang och i pool bar....
Kassaskåpet på rummet borde vara kostnadsfritt istället för 3€ per dag tycker jag.

Doppelzimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick (442-446) haben einen besseren Ausblick als Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick. Sogar Wasser mit Minze ist nicht in All in enthalten. Die Snacks an der Poolbar sind ungeniessbar, Eis geht. Die Zimmermädchen arbeiten perfekt.

Si je dois formuler une seule critique c'est pour les horaires du restaurant et notamment les matin et soir, il ferme à 10h le matin à 21h le soir, c'est très tôt pour des vacances...

vackert beläget hotell med underbar och seviceminded personal. Enda nackdelen var mycket hårda sängar och en högljudd korridor utanför rummet på nedre plan. Buffen hade allt man kan önska sig, poolområdet likaså och stranden blandat sten och sand.

Lovely place - hard beds

My compliments to the absolutely fantastic staff at Hydramis hotel, they were brilliant, kind, helpfull polite and very seviceminded. The buffé was ok, the best food was the fresh food directly made by the chefs corner. That was really nice. The beach is comfortable with all needed facilities close by, the poolarea nice and not very crowode with poolbar. We had a room with shared pool, allthough it was lovely with direct access from our room the big downside was that the corridor outside the room was very loud, All the noise from kids screaming, staff walking through with trolleys from poolbar to kitchen, doors slamming real hard were increased by the lack of soundproofing. The beds were also really hard and really needs a soft matress on top of the bed. We got all we could ask for but without sleep and silence. Adress these two negatives and we will for sure come back because we loved the Place and the staff!!! An extra plus to the nice spa-Girls that did a really good job, ecxellent massage.

Entspannte Tage auf Kreta

Wir haben nach bereits guten Erfahrungen im Vorjahr wieder einen Aufenthalt in diesem Haus gebucht und wurden auch diesmal nicht enttäuscht.Trotz des relativ späten Aufenthaltes in der Saison war das Hotel noch sehr gut gebucht - voller Betrieb..
Bei unserer (angekündigten) späten Ankunft hat man uns im Kühlschrank zwei Teller mit kalten Speisen und Getränken bereitgestellt - sehr aufmerksam. Für WLAN im Zimmer ist die Mitnahme eines WLAN Routers empfohlen, den man am LAN Anschluss im Zimmer betreiben kann.
Wir haben wieder ein "Shared Pool" Zimmer gebucht, da man dort etwas abseits vom Trubel am Hauptpool auf seiner eigenen Terrasse entspannen kann. Im Gegensatz zum Vorjahr und den Bildern auf der Hotelhomepage waren diesmal kein Schirm/Liegen auf der Terrasse vorhanden, sondern nur Tisch und Sessel. Nach Anfrage bei der Reception nach Schirm&Liege wurde dieser Wunsch abgelehnt, jedoch nach einem guten Gespräch mit dem sehr freundlichen und professionell agierenden Hoteldirektor Hrn. Lefteris Damas war es kein Problem mehr. Wir haben uns auch sonst im Hotel und bei den Miarbeitern sehr gut aufgehoben und betreut gefühlt, sei es beim sehr aufmerksamen Restaurantchef und seinen Kellnern und Mitarbeitern, oder bei der Poolbar oder selbst bei den Zimmermädchen und Hausarbeitern. Das Haus wird auch von den Handwerkern und Gärtnern unauffällig, aber permanent gut in Schuss gehalten,
Für uns wars wieder schön!

Bra hotell men Hårda sängar

Service fantastic, super personal och maten på toppen. Mycket varierande.
Men sängar hårda att du kommer inte att sova. På morgonen ont I hela kroppen. Annars mycket bra hotell.
Jag skulle recomandera att ta all inclusive då behöver du inte gå ca 15 min till supermarket.
