This is the best choice for travelers who want to watch a space launch or simply escape to visit the Space Center or embark on a nighttime kayaking trip. It is also perfect for those who love the charm and character of old buildings.

The family that runs this B&B is wonderful and makes you feel at home from the first minute you arrive. Coffee is plentiful, and if you want to bring your K-cups, there are several machines available for use.

The mattress was unbelievably comfortable. You will sleep well at this B&B. Breakfast is freshly cooked and different every morning. Both mornings, the breakfasts were delicious. Before our arrival, the hostess called to ask if we had any dietary restrictions. I thought this was very thoughtful.

It is a neat place and I will definitely stay there again.

This was a unique place. First, the \"inn keepers\" were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Second, the bed was super comfortable and the rooms were all unique in their own way(we were able to see them all) which is good so we know which one to pick for our next visit there.

We enjoyed this delightful B&B. The rooms are very beautiful, comfortable, and interesting. There are surprising treasures everywhere to look at, like NASA rocket pictures, a larger than life-sized horse with an armored man on it, an antique red telephone box. The staff, Crystal and Anat, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be returning!

A unique B&B near Kennedy Space Center. Filled with eclectic antiques and decorations. Nice staff. They have a nice deck where you can watch scheduled rocket launches at Cape Canaveral. The rooms have good privacy, but overall, the place needs updating. But if you’re looking for an alternative to the chain hotels, this is it.

I really wish I could give this property 0 stars. If my husband and I didn’t have plans at Kennedy Space Center to see the live 7:30 launch (we would have left this place Immediately).

First Impression (dirty, seen a huge live cockroach in our room), clutter everywhere and just old and dirty. After 2 days of staying in this place, I got two ringworms on my skin from this dirty place, that the doctor said could have came from the sheets, their towels, or bathtub). Stay here at your own risk!

The positive Crystal (one of the employees) is outstanding and goes out of her way to accommodate people.

Anat (needs a new profession) customer service is lacking. Working in Bed and Breakfast is NOT something she needs to be doing!

****Ask yourself, will you bring your mom to a filthy place to stay**** Book at your own risk..

This B and B has eight rooms, all with different themes. Ours was the Lighthouse Suite and was decorated in that theme. Very comfortable and lots of room, including a kitchen, living room, bath, and bedroom. Beautifully decorated! Breakfast was very good. Perfect location to watch a launch. Staff was very nice and efficient.

Positives: location for the space center and good food next door in the Mexican restaurant.
Negatives:
Noisy creaky beds, noisy railway tooting in the night, no curtains so a very light room. Difficult to get any sleep, Limited choice for breakfast. Get what your given, no options.

A True Bed & Breakfast Experience

So much to say about this great B & B. I love to stay at unique places and only do hotels when there is no other option. We were on a girls weekend to do the Mammoth March on Christmas so this was just 20 minutes away. The personal attention to us, specifically with going above and beyond packing us to go breakfasts ( 1 was even GF because of my daughter ) when Shelley heard we would miss breakfast because of our early race time. The hot tub was ready but we didn't get to use cause we were too tired unfortunately. We were in the Black Pearl which is huge... the beds were very comfortable and the use of the fridge in the hall was a bonus. Everyone was super friendly, even the guests. I know that if we do the run again next year we are definitely staying here again and if we can work on a launch inbetween we shall be back for that too. Can't wait to come back to the Coquina ❤️

Accidental booking turned into the perfect getaway

It was a beautiful place. The owner was very accommodating. I actually booked it on accident and decided to stay anyway because of the \"homey\" feel and vibe. The staff was very personable and friendly. We were in the largest room on the third floor and it was like we were the only ones there. There was a beautiful garden, koi pond and balcony overlooking the river. An awesome restaurant in walking distance. Highly recommend 😊

Great B&B to stay at prior to our cruise departure in Port Canaveral. Our family of five stayed in the Black Pearl on the third floor, which worked out well with plenty of room for all of us. It is located on the third floor, so it was tough to bring the luggage up, but we got it up there and it was fine. They do offer shuttle service to the port, but we didn't know when we booked, so just know that if you are looking for a \"stay and park\" Casa Coquina offers a ride to the port, so call them directly if you are interested. Definitely recommend this place if wanting a comfortable stay!

This property is very unique and reasonably priced. The building dates back to the 1920's and houses an exquisite collection of old metal and wood trucks and other toys, to name a few.
The bed in our room, was very comfortable and the bathroom was quaint but comfy also, with a claw foot tub/shower.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was de-lish! We will definitely be back!!

I did enjoy my stay here! We arrived late and were given detailed instructions on how to enter the building and get into our room. The cookies waiting in the cookie jar were awesome! The breakfast was delicious the next morning, too. The only thing that I have to say was a negative was that the bed was not very comfortable. Otherwise, I loved the eclectic decorations in the room and throughout the common areas! The gal who served us our breakfast was also very nice!

After driving around a bit, we realized the parking was in a lot at the back of the house in a not too safe looking area.

Then when we walked towards the house through what was called the garden we weren't sure we even wanted to go into the house.

The front door was locked but a very nice lady came and opened it for us. It was a shock to see the reception area full of papers, clothes, linens, and simply lots and lots of stuff everywhere throughout the house.

The wine reception was quite nice in the evening, though.

We had no choice for breakfast like advertised on the website for a buffet. The young lady working there simply came in and put a plate of food in front of us. Not that appetizing either.

We have stayed in many B&B's and found this one to be the messiest, dirtiest, and in the worst area to be in.

So, all those poor reviews are correct and they weren't lying at all. If the owners think their place is fantastic, they are delusional.

We highly recommend NOT staying here unless you do like being in a messy place that's not especially clean.

The check in was fast, the breakfast was very good, the close proximity to Kennedy Space Center was great and the happy hour was fun to be able to meet the other guests and share.

However, the beds were very soft, the window A/C was 2 feet from the bed and extremely noisy, the TV was tiny, and the shower had very limited pressure. The grounds could have been quite lovely but have been neglected for years. The decor is extremely eclectic and loaded.

What a great place to stay, the hosts are lovely. If you want a square corporate box with no service go elsewhere. Despite a storm we loved it, from the easy access overlooking the nasa launchpads to great cuban eatery next door the whole night was fab. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and were suprised by wine and card in our room. We will bring friends next time.

Lovely, quirky old home full of antiques and interesting artifacts! Lovely greeter - Vicky - and breakfast hostess, Jenny. Our suite was well equipped, and the house was pretty quiet. I love this B & B. We were contacted early in the afternoon to find out our arrival time so we could be greeted. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the inn keeper with a plate of delicious snacks ( hummus, cheese, veggies ) and shown to our room. Each room is decorated with a different theme. Our room had an Asian influence. The bed was super comfy, the pillows were very nice, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. When we awakened and walked downstairs, we were greeted with a new inn keeper ( retired ER nurse) and an amazing breakfast of quiche, peach cobbler, Canadian bacon, cereal, toast....

The walkway up to the front door is decorated like a rock garden and Japanese garden. This place is wonderful!!! AND the price is even better!

A New Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved our stay, and we can't wait to come back and stay more in the future!

Sabrina greeted us, and she was so kind, welcoming, and hospitable. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to this beautiful B&B! Sabrina gave us a little tour since we were the only guest other than one other room - and it was so lovely. We loved learning about the history of the house, and getting to look around at all the unique things they have. This place is eclectic and one of a kind. The Energy it gives off is like nothing else, seeing how unique and vintage it was sealed the deal on us booking, here.

We stayed in the Black Pearl Room at the top floor, and it was breathtaking! The jet bath is gorgeous in the bathroom, and the sink is, too. The room is very spacious, with a living room styled area, a big bedroom with a King bed, a game area with a beautiful chess set, and there's a separate room attached with another bed that has windows looking outside and over the water. This room is a sight to see! We didn't want to leave.

The garden is gorgeous. There's 2 little red bridges, a jacuzzi, fairy houses, a koi pond, and all kinds of little magical and beautiful things out there. It was perfect for just sitting and relaxing outside in the fresh air and sun. They also have umbrellas and other things available to take to the beach. So very hospitable and welcoming.

This place was very unique and definitely a worth while experience. We can't wait to return!

The highlights of this property are good location, easy access, room was clean, staff super nice, breakfast great.
The negatives....this is an old place. Candles are burning in common areas, I think, to keep down the smell of staleness/mold which was super strong in the rooms. I gagged once coming out of the shower. The owners are collectors, so there is 'stuff' all over the place, some pretty cool, some just stuff like all collectors are going to have.

Really liked staying with Jenny and Dennis, enjoyed meeting and talking with them. The bed and breakfast is quite zany, lots of personality with regard to the decorations and we loved it. Recommend staying here if the location, which we thought was great, fits your needs. We will be back.

The bed and breakfast was delightful! There are many antiques to be appreciated, and speak to the owners for fantastic histrionic information about them! The house is large, with plenty of privacy. The large, second floor deck has a nice view of the Indian River, a rocket launch, and, if you are awake early enough, a wonderful sunrise.

This fun b&b was a great option for our family’s trip to Kennedy Space Center. The kids loved exploring all the quirky decor. Our large suite at the top of the house gave us plenty of room to spread out. Beds are comfy. View is amazing. Hosts are friendly and gracious.

This was our destination for a family vacation in over a year. The hosts made it easy for both the parents and kids. Jen was super helpful and offered excellent suggestions for things to do that would appeal to the whole family. The room itself was comfortable, and the food was amazing. We all felt safe and secure despite the times. Could not be more pleased.
