Ocean View is nothing what the pictures show. Definitely needs to update pictures. We had booked 4 different rooms all four were very dirty one we noticed 2 cockroaches. Not enough towels were left in rooms, safe box didn't work in 3 rooms back sliding door did not lock at all. Very unsatisfied with our stay at this Hotel.

First of all, the pictures of the room are nothing compared to what it actually was. The bed is a full size bed, it should be a queen for my taste. Specially if you’re traveling with someone else. And the worst part of my experience for this hotel was that it had cockroaches. Extremely disgusting!

I had a terrible experience at that hotel. The elevator doesn't work, the rooms are in bad condition, and the service is awful. If you ask them for anything, they get annoyed. One person, a receptionist, was incredibly rude to me. She charged me 159 pesos for the key and called me \"filthy tourists.\"

The pictures shown are clearly old, as the hotel is well worn. The pool and beach access is pretty good (though some of the umbrellas at the pool didn't work and there could have been more of them), and that's the best part of the hotel. The mattress was quite hard and the pillows were lumpy, the linens were laundered but old and had some stains that likely no longer come out. The free breakfast was mediocre. If you were looking at the photos and thinking it's too good to be true for the price, that would be correct and you get what you pay for. That said, if you're looking for an inexpensive beach hotel, this does the job, as long as you know what to expect. The staff were helpful so no complaints there. Another inconvenience was that if you're checking out, you can leave luggage, but there was no way to leave valuables in a safe with the front desk.

Very bad The service was terrible and the room was very neglected. The towels were worn and torn, the doors were sagging and very difficult to open, the bed was in bad condition, and the tables and chairs were dirty. The only kind and attentive person was the young man who helped with the luggage; he was very attentive and polite. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Horrible experiencia!!! El azulejo del baño negro y todos los muebles en mal estado quebrados. Las sabanas y colchones olian feo. Y si van de vacaciones a descansar ese no es el lugar correcto ya que a las 7am empieza la construccion!!!! Y todo se escucha no puedes descansar. Oh y también todo un dia sin agua no podias ir al baño o bañarte, y lo unico que te ofrecen es irte a bañar a un hotel peor que ese o una Bebida de Cortesia!!!!! Y ni se diga la comida del desayuno todo al aire libre no tienen un area de comedor aunque haga frio tienes que desaturate afuera a demas que la comida horrible!!!!!! La peor experiencia !!!!

This is the first and last time I use EXPEDIA to find a good hotel because your recommendation of this hotel was the worst thing I have ever experienced. The hotel conditions were bad, broken glass, the beds were in terrible condition, the bathrooms smelled like urine.
EXPEDIA should know which hotels are good so it can recommend them, not just list hotels to make money

The hotel looks tired and need some work. We only had less than look warm water in the shower. We did mention this but nothing was done. Only one of the elevators were working during the time we were there except for one day.The staff was fantastic. The breakfast was not that good. The view was awesome

This is a run down property. Don't trust the pictures on their website. In general, the facilities around the property are very old and with no maintenance at all. Same with the rooms. Felt like I was staying in border town hotel. Room problems: with the AC, tv, curtains and the drainage in the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are staying in Mazatlan. It's not up to the standard & quality of the hotels you can find listed on Hotels.com

If you are fond of walking and experiencing the beach on foot, this property is for you. Unfortunately, they are renovating and this causes lack of attention to detail to the common areas (landscaping, paint jobs, the floors and overall hotel infrastructure in or around the pool). The rooms are clean and easy access to local restaurants and amenities is what keeps us coming back. Just to quote real state agents “Location, location, location”.

El staff fue muy atento, nos ofrecieron utilizar las instalaciones en lo que alistaban nuestra habitación, asimismo, resguardar el equipaje por si necesitábamos salir; la persona que nos atendió con la limpieza, súper amable, le pedimos cambiara las sábanas y lo hizo sin dudarlo, todo el personal muy amable.
Lo único no tan bueno fue que cuando entramos a la habitación aún estaba un poco sucia, las habitaciones necesitan una renovación.
En general, todo súper bien, volvería a hospedarme ahí.

Completely misleading. I am so disappointed. First room we received was nothing like we expected. Ocean view was really a tree. Balcony was divided into two with a weird wall in the middle of the room. The toilets were dirty. The remotes to the tv and air conditioner didn’t work. Our bed had a crack straight down the middle. I spoke to the girls in the front and they seem bothered that we didn’t like our room. Second room they gave us, had a better view but the sink was clogged. They fixed it then the shower became clogged. For ice you have to ask at the front desk and wait til someone shows up and gets it and by then it’s kinda melted. The beds in the second room also cracked, coffee maker was never cleaned. They would come clean but didn’t actually clean but wanted a tip straight away. There were some weird streaks on the wall. I rated it a two because one of the employees was super nice. We go to Mazatlan quite frequently, at least 3 times a year. In all the years we have gone this was THE WORST hotel experience. We were suppose to receive some perks and never did.

This was a last minute booking when my other accommodations fell through, it was reasonably priced, clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but very small with very limited place to unpack to. The hotel seemed to be in the middle of some upgrades. The booking included breakfast, but it wasn't very good, most dishes were cold and only about 3 to choose from, we are not big breakfast eaters so a pastry and yogurt suited us fine. The hotel was not very busy so we did not have to be up at the crack of dawn so we could have a chaise by the pool. We felt we got a descent room for what we paid for it and Expedia threw in a free drink by the pool.

Not so good:
-if you get a room with a view, and it’s a hot day.. prepare to be sweaty the fan in the room takes an hour or two to cool down
-cheap shower curtains
- no towels in the room, called and asked for them, never brought them up. I found the person cleaning the rooms and she did not have hand towels or the mat for the shower
-buffet, poor taste
- it’s going through construction so the second pool isn’t open
- room looks much nicer online than in person
-found a small cockroach in my room by the coffee station

I asked the front staff for additional towels due to not being provided enough for the amount of guests we had , but they did not provide us any.

Asked if the hotel provided bags for dirty laundry like others do, the front staff told me “ I don’t know.”

There is breakfast provided, but you have to sign up for a time slot which is interesting.

Our shower wasn’t fully cleaned because there was still sand in there from other guests. Additionally, our hot water didn’t work. Eventually it did get resolved though. One of the front desk staff members was helpful in regard to that.

At the moment only one of the pools is available to use. The other is empty. There is construction going on so it is noisy!

En general todo el servicio está bien, recibes lo justo por lo que pagas, lo cual está muy bien. Algunas consideraciones: Necesitas dejar $500 MXN en efectivo durante tu estancia como garantía de que devolverás los controles de TV y aire acondicionado que te proporcionan en recepción. Además, el check in puede ser algo lento si hay muchas gente en recepción, en mi caso tarde 30 minutos en la fila para hacerlo.

Place is dirty, old socks from previous guests left in room, no towels in the room, bathroom very dirty ( look like and abandoned building taken over by homeless people). called front desk and they said someone will bring towels but didn’t say when; after waiting for a while I wen and got them myself.
Elevator very slow so I had to use the stairs. Rented for two nights but checked out after the first one. Called booking agent the first night to address the situation and they gave a bunch of excuses. Never using that company or that hotel again. Try to say the name but rejected my review several times… how convenient.

The location is perfect views spectacular. The pool was nice and the perfect temperature. Breakfast okay could be better. The rooms have lots of room but not many places to put cloths. Cleaning staff try but seem very unorganized. This would be a perfect hotel with some updating in rooms. Having said all that we would stay again as the price is right with a great walking beach in front.

I would recommend people to stay elsewhere. Dirty rooms (don’t look under the bed),stained bedding,terrible wifi and balconies that don’t lock..but that’s not really a problem because I don’t think anyone would want to break in to this place. Breakfast is just so/so and you have to ask for everything. NO early check-in so don’t bother asking. Two thumbs down!

Property has a central location in Zona Dorada which made it very convenient. Despite reserving a room w a queen bed, I received a room with a full size bed. According to the receptionist at the lobby, all rooms had the same size bed, which was hard to believe since their website and my reservation clearly stated that there would be a queen size bed. It made it difficult for my wife and I to share the bed. In addition, the walls are very thin and despite it being the low season, they managed to put everyone in neighboring rooms so we heard the kids crying next door at 6am and the other guests karaoking 2 rooms down until 2am. Furthermore, the worst part had to be the cleanliness of the room. Upon arriving, our room still had a dirty floor and there was a strong urine odor coming from the toilet area. I’m not sure if it was a plumbing issue or if the cleaning was subpar but the daily cleaning would only mask the stench for an hour or so before it began wreaking again. I travel to Mazatlan at least 3 times a year and this has easily been the worst hotel experience of my life.

The room was great I love the balcony view to the ocean, great breakfast, they offer different food everyday, the only bad thing was that they're were working on the main pool so we didn't had access to that and on the first day we had a hurricane warning and they closed everything including the laundry so we didn't had room service for one day, other than that this is a great motel, I strongly recommended it, looking forward to go back!!!

Ocean view was nice when standing on balcony however when seated the view was obstructed.

I loved the AC unit it kept the room chilly as it was extremely hot and humid when we went.

Standard room stated a queen bed would be provided although that wasn't true, they only offered a full size bed insisting it was a queen. Bed was super hard not firm but hard and pillows were extremely flimsy/flat even when all 3 provided were used as 1.

For the price it’s ok. My room was a little run down and not consistent with others. (We had 4 rooms total and they were not similar). the front desk was not very helpful they kept deferring to a manager that was never there. Housekeeping and door service as always very nice and accommodating. The beach views from our rooms were amazing. We had the breakfast that came with our room and they made you register for the time you were going to eat so you can adhere to social distancing but if you picked anything later than 9:30 you may not get any food as they ran out and would not replenish. Unless they change management and invest in their rooms, I would not return. There was no mini frig and no ice offered either. Has potential but not maximized,

If you like staying in a pigsty this is the place for you. The room was filthy. Bedsheets were filthy with hair belonging to the people prior to our visit, pillowcases the same dirty. Wash basin water would drain slowly. The toilet head dry splattered feces from the guest prior to us. Two bath towels is all they could give us because they were constantly running out, sometimes they would give us one. I had to save the one that I had used prior just so that I could have one for the following morning. There’s more that’s just as gross but I won’t continue you get the picture. I complain to management directly and they didn’t care.

Well nothing the two rooms where not that great, there was tv in the room but there was no signal the curtans where torne un on room we had a frige an a micrwave and in the other room only a tv an a bed. The pool tiles where falling of there was like a brow substane comin out of one side of the pool the staff had no customer services will never stay there againg

Only one night. Wish we had time for more. Front desk staff very professional and helpful. Breakfast included. Simple meal, but deliscious.
