Entry is a little different than many U.S. hotels, with a secure street entrance leading to a courtyard and then the building itself. We appreciated the added security.

When the owner learned that my daughter and I are gluten-free, he personally brought us fresh gluten-free croissants every morning. It was one of many thoughtful touches that made our stay memorable.
