There was paint peeling in every room, k-cups were from Dollar General - specifically clover valley brand and the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel were all cheap off brand I found at Walmart. I get it, I shop DG and Walmart but when paying $200 a night for a room expectations are a little higher. There are several hotels in the area that are much less expensive with better amenities.

This was quite a lovely find. We were headed to Fallingwater which was only 20 minutes away. We had a private deck overlooking the pond. One word of caution. The Lodge was still under construction so no kitchen ergo no breakfast. I guess this is only a B not B&B. However, lots of food and breakfast choices in the area. The rooms must have been recently renovated and there were a few unfinished items, probably part of someone's punch list. Overall, reasonably priced and a great find.

The room was very nice and clean. Offered plenty of options if you want to cook while you stay there. Our room didnt have a view of the pond but many would have a nice view. Pond is large with a trail to walk around it. I would suggest for them to put an fountain or something in it to move the water a little. Saw some guest fishing the pond and they said they caught some bass. Location was great to go to different outdoor sites around the area. The only thing i would have liked was breakfast available in the mornings but i believe they are working on that near the office now. So until that is finished i highly recomment the butcher shop/store across the street for amazing breakfast sandwiches

Beautiful location with the pond! We enjoyed the walking trails and also walking over to Mountain Market Meats for snacks and for delicious breakfast biscuits. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we loved the terrace, especially in the evening watching the clouds and stars and listening to the frogs.

If you like to sleep with white noise this is as good as it gets. Air conditioning is strong and steady, not on/off all night like most hotels. Bathroom fan can stay on without the light as well. If this sounds strange to you I understand! But if you get it, you get it.

The staff at the lodge was amazing! We had several issues, but they resolved each issue almost immediately. Our room had a kitchenette. We found it to be very well equipped. My only note of concern was that the shades of the room were not blackout shades. We woke up very early with the sun. We would definitely stay there again.

I would say it was just meh...
Our stay at the Lodge (motel) was just ok'ish. It wasn't great, there was nothing worth remembering. The property is very dated, the rooms and bathroom are very dated. The beds are hard, the linens were decent. There was a stick being used to keep the sliding door to the patio locked, not very comforting. The front door looked like it was kicked in at some point. The bathroom was not the cleanest and missing paint, holes in the wall etc. The towels were decent. The outside was pleasant minus all of the disarray from them cleaning up from the summer. Big pile of this summers potted plants, tree limbs, and clippings. The entire area had a dead deer smell to it and screen doors removed from the property and stacked up against the outside wall. When we first walked into the room the temperature was set at its highest setting, this was a cause for concern because this is a tactic to get rid of bed bugs. Thankfully, didn't find any bed bugs. To sum it all up, the only thing my wife had to say was \"its just ok, we have stayed in worse\". The price was high for this stay, certainly wasn't worth it and the additional $25 dollars per pet when we checked wasn't a nice surprise. We will not stay at this property again.

Great location if you are hiking or biking the trails at Ohiopyle. Only 20 mins. from downtown Ohiopyle trail/s starting point. The rooms were recently remodeled and have all the modern amenities. New TVs, refrigerators, microwaves. All rooms have hardwood/composite flooring. The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom were squeaky clean. The only issue we had was low water pressure in the shower. Other than that, our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay again.

They have done a great job renovating the exterior of the buildings, but the interior fell short. The AC unit was loud, the doors and sliding glass door were old and damaged, the tv stand was loose and wobbly, The driveway up to the property has big potholes.

We were not expecting much from this lodge and it exceeded our expectations by far. The room was clean, the bed was large and comfortable but it was the view from our deck that really attracted us. We loved watching the sunrise over the little lake. The staff was so friendly and helpful when asking for nearby attractions. The only issue we found was there were ants on the TV stand and desk. Not too many so it wasn't a huge hassle. We had a great experience here and are already planning to return in the fall!

Property is in the process of being renovated by new owners so the grounds are very nice. Our room was cozy and clean with a cute little patio for 2 in the back. The only thing I mentioned when we checked out is that there were some flies & bugs in the room. When the room was dark, there was a lot of daylight around the door. I suppose bugs are getting in that way. BUT the new owners are still working on the property so I’d give it another chance if I went back. It was convenient to Kentuck Knob and Christian Klay winery.

Our stay was adequate for a few nights. If you enjoy sleeping in, this is not your place. The patio door has the blinds inside the glass. When the sun comes up at 5:20am the light invades the room. If you love waking at dawn…this is perfect.

Nice, clean rooms with decks and outdoor space for relaxing. Stayed here last fall when visiting Fallingwater and returned today to tour Kentuck Knob. Convenient to both locations and very reasonable price. Be advised there are very limited food options in the area.

Easy check-in, very friendly staff. Comfortable room & bed with micro & fridge. Clearly room had been completely redone but could use a little maintenance-desk lamp not set up to work, stopper pull on sink not connected and shower water temp adjustment touchy. Informed reception on check-out and they were appreciative.

Nice landscaping and green views. The unit was comfortable, including 2 nice beds. Some things were \"a work in progress\": the bathroom door didn't close completely; the TV was a store demo that we had trouble getting to work reliably; no hair dryer in the room, though the staff were helpful in getting us one.
