Perfect getaway spot for the weekend

Beautiful old style Hacienda with lots of beautiful gardens, and with a rustic and traditional style accommodations. The swimming pool is gorgeous and perfect for relaxing and diving. Service from all staff was professional and genuine. The restaurant breakfast buffet is a must, with plenty of Mexican food and international choices. Will definitely come back.

Property is pretty and clean. The rooms are nice but horribly hot during summer without a/c. The fan blows hot air. Pillows are full of some kind of balls and you can feel each one of them, especially when it’s so hot and sticky that you can’t get any resting in any part of the room. I tried beside the windows, also in the bathroom but everything it’s so hot and humid. Staff is polite, but yesterday one of the waitresses was literally taking our food and drinks off the table when we were still eating. I had to chase a waitress to get back my plate of cochinita which i had eaten two bites only and asking him to return the tortillas too but I couldn’t do anything for the half queso fundido order they took without asking as well as the cocktail my husband couldn’t finish. The waitress didn’t even apologized but he kept doing it… 😠. When we checked in we asked permission to fly a small drone accepting whatever conditions they wanted, they said they will ask to manager but they forgot and when we went next day to ask again they were very rude. Staff in the yard are excellent.
They don’t tell you that the bar is permanently close and there aren’t places around to go have a drink after dinner. The restaurant closes early too. The game room needs to be reserved at morning to be able to use it at evening. No exceptions but they don’t tell you in the office until you say you would like to use it. We still enjoyed the gardens and the one swimming pool since the other is exclusive.

Esta hacienda tiene una gran e interesante historia y está muy bien conservada. El staff es de lo más bonito de la estancia. Todos son amables y hacen todo para que uno esté a gusto y cómodo, esto sin contar con que hay mucho lugar por donde caminar, por donde sentarse y platicar fuera de la habitación. Su alberca es grande y la comida es muy rica; en semana santa el servicio a la habitación está abierto 24hrs (con efectivo) y la comida llega rápido.

Los únicos inconvenientes es que las habitaciones que no son de lujo no tienen aire acondicionado, lo cual es difícil de sobrellevar cuando hace mucho calor, ya que las ventanas son pequeñas y no hay cortinas.
Añadido a esto, a pesar de que los muros son suficientemente gruesos como para que no llegue a la habitación la señal de wifi, no son lo suficientes como para cancelar el ruido, por lo que se escucha casi todo lo que pasa dentro de las habitaciones.

Gorgeous property and pool facility. Decent restaurant with fair prices. Attentive staff but can be on the slower side when busy. Almost no reception or wifi in the rooms but yes, in the shared areas. Rooms are huge but most only have fans unless you specifically request and pay extra for a room with air conditioning. They charge an additional 500 pesos a night for anyone above 2 persons staying in your room including children. Overall a beautiful experience, the property is truly spectacular.

Perfect to rest and eat.

Very nice and quiet place to stay, there is a lot of nature surrounding the hotel which makes it very special. If you are looking for a place to stay apart from noise and have real rest time this is the place. Food is excellent and the staff makes everything they can so you can have a good experience.

Beautiful hacienda with lush gardens, a farm full of animals and stables with the possibility of horse riding (excellent price!). Heaven for a relaxing weekend! Food is great too and service excellent and fast! The only minus: beds are really hard and kind of uncomfortable. No AC in the rooms but the ceiling fan is sufficient to cool down the room.

Beautiful historical hotel which was at one time the hacienda of Hernan Cortez. The rooms and grounds are exceptional. The restaurant, though the menu is limited, served excellent quality food and good service. We loved our absolutely huge rooms in the main part of the hacienda with a view of the gardens.

My only complaint is an odd policy that prohibited me from using my normal camera, limiting me to use my cell phone to take photos. It’s the only time traveling I’ve ever faced such a policy in a hotel. I’m not a professional photographer using a tripod; it’s just a low end mirrorless with a telephoto. That’s the only thing thing that spoiled my experience a bit.

This is a wonderful hacienda and unlike anywhere I’ve ever stayed before. The grounds are beautiful and a lot of care and attention has been put into making it one of the best hotels, and not just in Mexico.
We visited another hacienda close by for a family function and they were worlds apart.
I’d highly recommend it and can’t wait to return. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food delicious and even Rigo the resident parrot deserves a mention.
Thanks to all for a wonderful stay, my only regret is that we only had 3 nights there.

Ten years ago, I visited the Hacienda on a tour with my language school and said to myself, \"If I ever get married, this is where I'll have the ceremony\" The place is amazing. 1500's Hacienda that has been updated to include rooms, restaurant, pool, etc. The staff is incredibly nice and service oriented. We were treated as royalty. My family who had never been to Mexico were amazed at the beauty. It is definitely off the beaten path but worth the trip! Our wedding was held in La Troje. The wedding planner who worked for the hotel set everything up and communicated with me for months via email. Jimena made our dreams come true! Beyond that, the food served at the hotel is AMAZING!!! It's authentic, high quality and absolutely delicious. There's a fantastic mini golf area, game room with foosball, pool, etc. Everyone enjoyed themselves!

The hotel is beautiful and holds a lot of history, but many rooms need urgent renovation. Some do not have air conditioning and the bathrooms are not in good condition. Our room was not cleaned the night we stayed there. The hotel can become a 5 star if ALL the rooms are renovated.

Las instalaciones no tienen comparación. El hotel es una hacienda colonial increíblemente cuidada en sus habitaciones, patios, jardines, esculturas, arcos, mesas. La alberca es grandisima con distintos niveles de profundidad. El primer nivel es de 1m, luego de 2m y despues 3m. Todo el personal es amable y te dan un recorrido de bienvenida. La granja que tienen es amplia y puedes recorrer a caballo.

NEGATIVO: La comida. No tiene mucho sabor y los precios son elevados. Me hospede entre semana por lo que pedí a la carta y no lo disfrute mucho, tampoco las bebidas del bar.

Este hotel con otra cocina sería top mundial.

Nuestra experiencia en Hacienda Vistahermosa fue simplemente espectacular. Pasamos unos días inolvidables en familia. Desde que llegamos, el servicio fue impecable: todo el staff es extraordinariamente amable, atentos en cada detalle y siempre con una sonrisa.

Las instalaciones son preciosas, con una arquitectura colonial bien conservada que te transporta en el tiempo. Los cuartos están súper limpios, cómodos y perfectamente mantenidos. Disfrutamos muchísimo la alberca, el ambiente tranquilo y los jardines impecables.

Uno de los grandes aciertos fue el paseo a caballo, que a nuestros hijos les fascinó. Fue seguro, bien guiado y muy divertido.

Y no puedo dejar de mencionar la comida: deliciosa. Cada platillo, desde el desayuno hasta la cena, fue de altísimo nivel, con excelente sazón y presentación.

Definitivamente, un lugar al que queremos regresar y que recomendamos sin dudar para familias que buscan una experiencia auténtica, relajante y de calidad.

Un hotel muy bonito, la hacienda muy linda , la atención y servicio buenos. Buena disposición en general , sin embargo las instalaciones están algo descuidadas , son viejas, y no hay A/c en todos los cuartos!! Para tenerlo debes reservar una habitación superior!! Eso no es lo estándar . En los hoteles todos deben tener esos servicios , más cuando la zona en la que está es muy calurosa y nos es un hotel “barato”

Puntos malos: Solo tiene una alberca en funcionamiento cuando en su descripción dice que son dos. En temporada alta la alberca se llena y faltan camastros y sombrillas, te tienes que sentar en el pasto. Las canchas y áreas deportivas están muy descuidadas. El buffet no es muy variado y el precio es elevado para lo que ofrece.

Los puntos buenos: la hacienda es bonita y tiene muchas áreas verdes y es muy grande. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias. El personal siempre nos trató bien y fue rápido el registro. Hay estacionamiento suficiente y se puede caminar en toda la hacienda.
