1km distance from the properrty to catch a bus and subway station. During the hot summer day, it's not very convenience. The room is overally clean but some kind of materials were falling off, such as wall paper and door frame.

Subway is far and at least 18 minutes walking. Far away from major attractions. An hour bus ride at least to each sightseeing spot. If you don’t mind spend time on travel, this hotel has many restaurants nearby tho. Hotel’s carpet kind of dirty and wall has crack lines and minor damage on furniture.

They allow guests to check in only at 3. Guests can check in before 3pm in other properties in general.

Stayed here 3 nights on our Seoul's trip this year , we were asking for drops off luggage's early and afternoon checking were smoothly. Front desks has been able to speak English and very welcoming our staying. We were asking for room with city view and our request was fulfilled. The hotel has been large, clean and many young customers. Our room were serving each day and we were enjoying our staying this time here. For someone if the transportation by local buses or trains is not a problem or restaurants, retails shops is not a main concern then this hotel is good for the value and quality services is the best.

I enjoyed my stay here as a solo female traveler. I walked to and from the train station each day and never felt unsafe. The hotel staff were kind and helpful and the room was the perfect size. I had room service one night and loved being served by the handsome robot. All in all, I’d stay here again. I do wish the room had a fan and conditioner for your hair, but those weren’t deal breakers. The complimentary bottled water was a plus!

Front desk staff wasn’t super friendly, not sure if was due to communication issues or just cultural differences.
Quite closed to public transport but not closed to Seoul’s touristic areas, takes around 30 min to an hour to get to seoul on bus and train

There are many restaurants around and I particularly love to visit \" 초밥24\". The salmon sushi was so fresh and yummy. Went there twice..wanted more but my priority was to taste Korean cuisine.😅

Back to the hotel, bed was extremely comfortable as compare to many places I had stayed b4. Overall, no negetive comment accept the TV volume setting was too soft even though set to the maximum (30).

MD Hotel Doksan is an older establishment that has recently undergone a name change. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the hotel is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, it is about a 20-minute walk to the nearest train station, and the area lacks amenities, with only Lotte Mart just a four-minute walk away.

Unfortunately, the staff's demeanor leaves much to be desired; they are often unfriendly and have limited English proficiency, typically responding with simple \"yes\" or \"no\" answers. During our week-long stay, my wife and I noticed that our bed sheets were not changed despite daily requests for housekeeping. The carpets were old and dirty, and the overall cleanliness was disappointing.
Additionally, we experienced issues with the door keycard, which delivered an unpleasant static shock when opening our room. This problem seemed to affect not only us but also four other rooms occupied by friends on different floors.

The elevator service was slow, and the keycard system often malfunctioned, making it frustrating to navigate between floors. Overall, our experience at MD Hotel Doksan was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend it for couples or international tourists. However, it may be a consideration for locals, as we observed a significant number of Korean guests staying there.

The hotel was clean and well organized. Housekeeping staff cleaned our room very well and fill up our fridge with bottled water every single day. Amenities were sufficient for travellers to use, such as free parking, microwaves and coin laundry. You also receive a welcome gift, free bread from the cafe. Our room was a corner room on the 14th floor and the views were fantastic. We had the view of the city as well as the mountain nearby.

Conveniently located in a quiet, business district, MD Hotel was the perfect location for me. I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and its quiet atmosphere. The Lotte Castle is right by the hotel, which is home to many, many restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and even a grocery store! There were a few other facilities nearby… including a nail salon, hair salon, and prescription glasses store. Really convenient area. My favorite thing about it was the quiet, calm atmosphere.

Impressive 3 star Hotel

Once I finally arrived at the hotel I was glad I chose to stay there. It’s a quiet location away from the hustle but close enough to reach. The front desk staff Jenny and David are the only ones who effectively communicate with foreign customers. The Maps software doesn’t work in S Korea so be aware. My taxi driver took me to the wrong hotel and I couldn’t track him due to lack of navigation. The amenities they offer is more in line with 3.5 stars. They have ice and water dispensers on every floor. The house keeping staff are very friendly and made sure I had everything for a comfortable stay. The sofa was a nice touch and the breakfast buffet was good

The room is spacious and nice. Clean daily and all facilities are quite new. There is bathtub available and small sofa. Like the room very much, has disinfection ventilator and there is water dispenser outside at the lift area for our use. Staff are also very nice and polite. The unsatisfactory issue is that they don’t give iron, can’t even borrow from the housekeeping as they don’t have. Laundry places around there don’t provide iron service or need to wait a few days. Headache, how to go out in wrinkled clothes right? So in the end, I need to buy a set of clothes for church service. Another issue is the inconvenient location, pretty far from places of interest. But well, if you just talk on hotel alone, I like the spacious room, sofa and the cleanliness. Prices are reasonable too.

Love the stay, lots of useful amenities and the hotel rooms do resemble traditional hotels like hilton, etc. I like that each floor also has a water dispenser to refill your tumblers. There is a microwave and a gym at the basement level. Laundry is also at the basement but you do have to pay for the this service. The hotel is really unique that the basement connects with the building beside it, meaning you can stay inside the hotel and head to the small shopping plaza (and even to the lotte mart there) via the basement. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The only thing I can say is I think one of the dryers is damaged (it left one of our pile of clothes still soaking wet), and we felt the breakfast buffet wasn’t worth the cost (I believe it cost 16k won per person), it is good if you want an early start I guess (from 7:30-9:30 am); otherwise just eat out near the hotel, you’ll get better bang for buck from doing so. Also quite close to the subway station (around 10-15 minute walk) and bus stops (4-6 minute walk) so while not at the heart of touristy areas, it isn’t difficult to reach gangnam, itaewon, insadong, etc., each location roughly about 30- 60 minutes from md hotel doksan. Overall we loved our stay here, would consider using this hotel again if we’re back in Seoul.

Overall, its a decent hotel and the front desk staff are extremely nice. The room I was in had a hair on the bed, and the water pooled in the shower and sink and didnt drain, dirty coffee mugs, and with a gross smell in the room like mold. So while I would give the front desk staff 5/5 for service, I think the cleaners are not doing a great job.

Wonderful stay

I didn’t expect there to be such a cozy and nice hotel in the area. I was surprised. There’s a convenience store right inside the hotel which made for buying water, snacks, etc very easy. The hotel is part of a new apartment complex and has a clean, modern vibe to it.

We stayed in the standard double room which had everything we needed. Smaller than some of the other hotels, but it was very clean.
