This is an absolutely beautiful and perfectly located accommodation near trevi, Spanish steps and everything else you need. It’s not a hotel but an apartment, it makes it so much better. We absolutely loved everything about it and that bathroom is unreal!! Thanks Marco, perfect stay

I can't say enough about this hidden gem. In a terrific location! Safe! Quiet! Very easy to navigate. The hotel staff was waiting for us upon our arrival. So nice and made themselves available in the event we had any needs/questions. It was really a great spot and great accommodations for my family of 4 (including 2 teens). I would absolutely stay there again-and recommend to anyone!

Hidden gem! This hotel was great! It is not easily recognizable from the street. It is on the 4th floor of a historic building. Room was spacious and clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Huge bathroom/shower were a nice feature. Location was convenient and walkable to everything. It was right by the Spanish steps and surrounded by stores and restaurants.

Great small hotel in great location
Hotel is not obvious to find as inside a building with other users but in an excellent location. Room was really spacious with everything you needed and lots of added extras including free mini bar that was restocked and tea/coffee facilities. Bed was comfy and air con was good (and needed!). Marco messaged before arrival and room was ready early, accommodating my request. Would definitely stay here again, perfect base for exploring Rome!

Excellent area to stay in. Lots of shopping and food. It was easy to get a cab and front desk staff was very helpful! Bed was comfortable and had enough pillows. It could use a paint job inside because the walls had a LOT of scraps, scratches and nicks. Other than the stay was very good.

Avg hotel at good location
Stayed at this hotel four nights recently. There is no prominent sign outside the building saying that there is hotel here. Had to ask people around to find hotel is on 4th floor and it does not have lobby on ground floor. The TV was not working on first day so had to wait until next day to have it fixed as the hotel is not staffed 24/7. One of the twin beds in the suite was bare bones made of metal whereas other bed was cushioned. See picture. I expected better when paying $600/night. The location of hotel is good though and is close to many attractions.

We had an excellent stay. The room was perfect for our family of four. The location is so central, we walked everywhere which is the perfect way to explore. There is a really nice restaurant Ginger about two doors away which did a good breakfast selection. Marco was extremely helpful and attentive if I had any questions either before or during our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend.

1. Expedia said city taxes was €140 but Marco requested that we pay €210 in cash only, We did not realize that we were being ripped off.
2. The beds at DC Collection’s were too hard to sleep on. We asked Marco if we could purchase a bed mattress pad, at our expense, and use it during our stay. He said no. We should have gotten Expedia involved at this point. Marco stopped communicating with us totally.
3. Marco had offered to refund our stay if we wanted to find another place, which we thought was gracious and a key factor in deciding to find another hotel. But when we checked out, he did not give us a receipt confirming the fact that we left after 2 nights. We soon found out that Marco did not notify Expedia that we left his property nor did he tell Expedia that he had authorized a refund us for 13 nights. Expedia tried unsuccessfully to communicate with Marco for 2 weeks.
5. We were left embarrassed about being taken advantage of and upset over being scammed out of almost €4000 and over having to deal with this over our vacation. We are still dealing with it…

We loved our stay at the DC Collection Spagna. Marco was very helpful and attentive and so was his staff. The room was clean and spacious, just as described and depicted in the pictures. The bedding was very comfortable and we loved the coffee and beverages provided in the room. The location is formidable and walking distance to most of the major attractions. The only issue I would have to say is if you are a very sensitive sleeper, sometimes you hear the outside noise in the morning. Other than that we found this property to be wonderful! We are grateful for our stay there and highly recommend it .

We were a family of 4, 2 grown up children - communication was great with Marco - initially we couldn’t locate the entrance but they are going to put a nameplate outside. It is inbetween Aesops and a wonderful shop selling Murano glass. It is on the 4th floor, but there is a lift!

Overall super comfy beds and pillows and a brilliant area to stay oh and a fridge with some drinks too!

The owner, Marco, was very helpful before and during the stay. The room was very clean, spacious, well stocked, and close to everything. Mihai, greeted us from their taxi transfer Marco set up, and was very kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. I highly recommend this hotel and we love the area that it's in. It feels very safe day and night, and it's walking distance to a lot of different tourist spots. We'll stay here again!

Amazing location in the Spagna area not far from Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Property was spotlessly clean, very nicely designed and had coffee, tea facilities and free mini bar with water and soft drinks which was a nice touch. Only 4 rooms in this property and had a boutique hotel feel. Marco was an exceptional host and gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant which we visited twice! Would defo stay here again.

Unique Boutique Stay
This was a unique 5 bedroom boutique hotel that gave you the feel of being in your pown residence. At check-in the manager met us at the non-descript door that brougt us to a foyer with an elevator to the 4th floor. Here was a small reception and access to all the rooms. Very clean and modern. The room was spacious with a comfortable king bed with multiple pillows. A nice size bathroom with large walk in shower. The bedroom had a well working AC unit and kept us comfortable. This hotel was withing easy walking distance to all of the big sites. Excellent high end shopping and restaurants were right outside your door. This was an excellent location and would recommend it to anybody who doesnt need a hotel bar or spa to make their stay enjoytable.

Nice stay at this property. Room was set up very well. Accessing the property was easy and front desk employees were very kind and helpful. A few minor issues with our room - but hopefully these are being worked on. For the property management company…recommend upgrading the mattress and bed pillows in this room to something more plush. We would stay there again on our next visit - great location.

This is an excellent place to stay while in Rome. The staff was great, the room is newly renovated, very modern and clean. The only issue is finding the building. It is on a side street and on the 4th floor of #7. Ring the bell and a worker will come down and escort you up. It is not a traditional hotel but we would highly recommend it.The area is very nice, it is in walking distance of The Trevi Fountain and many other attractions.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They emailed us before we arrived and set up a driver service to meet us at the airport (definitely helps with large line ups for taxis). There are only four rooms on the floor. Easy elevator to get up there. Rooms were clean, fresh fruit and free mini bar were definitely a nice touch. It was very hot in Rome but the A/C in the rooms was a big relief. Overall really enjoyed the stay. The location was perfect.

The two women at Florio were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were transferring hotels in Rome and doing a day trip to Pompeii before heading to Florence the next day and they allowed us to drop off our luggage and pick up a key before catching the train to Naples. When we arrived back at the rooms late that evening our luggage was already in the room and ready for us. We then were able to store it while spending the last of our time in Rome before traveling the next day. It was exceptionally convenient and very helpful to make the rest of our trip easy and enjoyable!

We loved the convenient location. Many significant locations were within a 10-20 min walk. Shopping and restaurants were literally on the doorstep! The room was very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The desk is not staffed 24/7 however staff responded promptly via WhatsApp. We would definitely look to this property first when we plan our next visit and we have recommended it to everyone we’ve told about our trip.

The location of the property to many of the must see attractions is perfect. The shopping and dining options are limitless. We did have a few issues though. Upon check-in and a tour of our unit, we were informed that the sink was not usable. Someone broke the drain. Syle said we could use the sink in the lobby to brush our teeth and wash our hands. Really, at 158.00 euros a night. Well we made it work. Used a garbage can in sink. The next evening between 7pm and 9pm someone came and repaired. Of course no notice was given that they were coming to fix(we were not in. The unit we were in is very,very small. No where to open luggage except on bed. The lighting in bathroom is dim. Poor lighting hides a lot of not so clean shower area. We reached out to the hotel and expedia for a partial discount, but to this point no one has contacted us. I will not be staying at this place on our next visit to Rome.

This was by far the worst hotels.com stay I have had and I use hotels.com multiple times per month for business and pleasure.

Great location! It's only a room... not hotel facilities or common areas. But if you're looking only for a place to sleep then it's a great option. Staff was very friendly but they only go there to meet you, the rest of the time there's no one around the property. Room was clean and had everything we needed. No breakfast, so gotta keep that in mind when comparing to other options. We had to leave early for a tour so it was ok for us. Location is perfect for shopping and dining within walking distance.

Nice room. Clean. This is a guest room only and not a hotel. Gave it 4 stars because air conditioner struggled to keep up with the heat and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. Overall walkable to pretty much all the things you want to see in Rome. Gilbert made checkin really easy and was available via WhatsApp for questions. No breakfast as advertised which was slightly disappointing.

The staff was WONDERFUL. They were perfect. The hotel room was clean and tidy every day. The rooms are centrally located conveniently off Via Del Corso (main shopping avenue). 7 minutes from Trevi, Pantheon, and Spanish Steps, 20 minutes from the Colosseum. Only 2 qualms; the noise directly outside the room was very audible. We heard when guest checked in, when people entered and exited the reception area. Secondly, the bed was very firm and pillows were flat. However this didn’t affect our stay in Rome. I would recommend this establishment.

I think it all comes down to location. We were a few steps from Via del Corso. Here you can find everything—shops, restaurants, gelato as well as piazza del popolo and the Spanish steps. Our stay at Rhea Silvia was wonderful. Monica and Gilbert went above and beyond every day to make sure all our needs were met. They were friendly, professional and helpful. The room was comfortable.clean, spacious and quiet with many amenities. A delicious made-to order breakfast was delivered to our room every morning. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to every sight we wanted to see during our stay. The farthest was probably the Vatican and that was only about a 20 minute walk.. We would definitely stay there again.

The Rhea Silvia Luxury Rooms is the perfect place to stay when visiting Rome. Top three reasons to stay - 1) smart phone is available for guest use, 2) the location is in the middle of all of the action but on a quiet side street, the city's top tourist sites are within walking distance, and the train is close by, and 3), most importantly, Monica and Gilbert. They were responsive, friendly, helpful, and truly nice people who were patient and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for better hosts and the Rhea Silvia is lucky to have them.

As soon as we booked, we received a helpful and welcoming email from Gilbert. We arranged taxi transfer from airport, which was seamless. Monica met us immediately from the taxi, and showed us to our room, which was spectacular. It was spotless, spacious and beautiful. Monica was friendly and very helpful.

No air conditioning in sweltering August. They said the parts are on order. They stuck a fan in my room. They refused to change my room. This place is one floor in an Apartment Bldg they claim it's a Hotel or Guesthouse. Taxi's can't drive you to the entrance so you have to walk 200 meters dragging luggage on a cobblestone street. No sign on the bldg. Difficult to find, nobody in the neighborhood knew about the place. They claimed they are not allowed to post a sign. Made no attempt to offer anything $ let alone even a partial refund. They basically said it's too bad that you booked through Hotels.com, they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. They even had the nerve to collect a 15 Euro service fee upon our departure. Absolutely No Shame! Don't take the chance to stay at this place. At over 200 Euros per night you can definitely find something MUCH better.
