Have travelled to Bali since 1989 and Sri Phala reminds me of what Bali was like when I first arrived, in every good way. The accomodation is old school Bali, spacious and quiet. I would recommend that villas at the rear of the property, away from the main room, but everywhere in the complex is lovely.

Breakfast was fantastic and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Would def stay at Sir Phala again.

Awful check in experience , lack of response which meant I had to call and chase up for a response. The description of the property and the room booked does not reflect the actual dilapidated state of the prank the room. Broken items in the room, dirty and stained finishes, disgusting and filthy shower curtain. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor so not sure of the point f the curtain. The staff were polite but no action really to rectify the situation, the room we had should not actually be let out due to the numerous shortcomings. I leaflet in the room stated how we should not break anything or stain linen to provide a fresh look. The pictures of the room we stayed in provide a completely different picture. Some rooms like ours had 2 flights of tricky narrow staircase to climb with suitcases , this should made clear in the room description. A awful stay in a resort which needs a full overall to advertise as a 4 star.

The staff make this hotel something special, going out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. The room and grounds are elegant, and the beach and a handful of shops and restaurants are just a minute’s walk. Only downsides were insects in the room, and heavy traffic where Grab drivers seem hesitant to stop.

Room is spacious, but dated. Had a balcony which was fine, but furniture is old. Bathroom ok but nothing fancy, basic. Pools (2) are nice. Location ok, but not in the middle of everything. Which is ok for those who like that.

Like indonesia, if its not a big international chain of hotels, then the stars do not reflect what you get. This hotel was rated 4 stars, but i woul rate it 3; 3.5 at the most

Stayed overnight on our way to ferry at Sanur. Bed was amazing. Rooms were really nice. Had breakfast before departing, which was much better than expected. Wide range of good, safe, food in buffet. Would have been delighted to stay longer / revisit.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Great friendly staff and nicely kept pools and gardens.
Easy walk to the beach and promenade, about 20 min walk along the beach to Icon so great option for shopping.
Sanur port is just a few minutes away so good location for getting out to the islands or the airport.

Wi-Fi was slow in our room but all in all good value for money.
Would stay here again.

We stayed at Sri Phala for one night prior to travelling over to Nusa Lembongan. We absolutely loved everything about the place. There are two pool, one next to the restaurant, both with plenty of sun loungers. The staff went out of their way in every area to be friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of options. I highly recommend Sri Phala and look forward to staying there again.

Little oasis tucked away off a loud road. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are lovely. Room was clean but bathroom with lots of grout mildew. Definitely ask for a room toward the back of the property as the front is very loud with trucks and mopeds and sirens.

Beautiful Balinese villas in lush, tropical private gardens. Sri Phala is beautifully maintained. Great choice of food at the restaurant. Good pricing. Close to Sanur shopping and dining if you leave the resort.
Our favourite thing about Sri Phala is it's people.
They are all happy and helpful. They make you feel at home. Our second time here from Australia and we look forward to returning.

It is old hotel. I like the garden and spacious room with nice Indonesian furniture.
It is very easy to catch the grab car so easy to go out. Don’t need to book the hotel Transpot shuttle service to airport. Grab is much much cheaper.
The staffs are not friendly that make me disappointed.

We would definitely stay here again!

We only stayed one night but would have happily stayed longer. It is an older hotel showing a bit of wear however we felt very comfortable there. The staff are a credit to the place, everyone of them were welcoming and helpful.
It's only about a 7 minute walk around the corner from the hotel to the ferry port. Be aware that footpaths in Bali can be very hard to negotiate so you will have to carry your luggage in some places.
Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant is in a very pretty setting.
We had the standard 2brm villa which was perfect for our family of 4 adults. It would be fabulous for 2 couples too. We didn't hear any road noise, the air conditioning worked well and drinking water is provided in glass bottles.
Sri Phala have done really well at adopting eco friendly practices, we loved that they had a watercooler at reception to refill our reusable bottles.
Both pools were sparkling clean and a lovely place to sit and relax away from the hustle and bustle.
We also had time to use the spa (just ask at reception if they have any last minute appointments) and it was very nice and good value for money.

This property is nice but very tired and in need of some serious renovations. Rooms are shabby, verging on disrepair. Mosquito net has lots of holes, possibly just for decoration? Bathroom towels are very very old and shabby, grey and worn out. Pool areas a nice but could benefit from a few more loungers and umbrellas. Pool towels are lovely and fluffy. Restaurant is ok, menu limited and should maybe focus on local cuisine.
Staff are very nice, smiley and polite. Spa massages are good, reasonably priced.
Some confusion with overcharging at checkout which took time to resolve as well they couldn’t locate all towels. We had maintenance guy repairing aircon unit that took an armful of towels after mopping up leaked water but the receptionist was not convinced.

Beautiful Garden of a Hotel

Sri Phala was a breath of fresh air in bustling, crowded Sanur. Literally, like a private garden of peace to retreat to when all the activity outside wore me out.
The pools are nice, the restaurant is good and peaceful, the rooms are beautiful, and the pathways throught the hotel complex are burtsling with plants, trees, and flowers. The staff was also helpful, professional and accomodating.

We got in late at night because we had an early boat out of Sanur the next morning. Therefore there is not much to review. The airport pick-up was smooth however no one was able to check us in for over an hour because the staff was not trained on check-in. I stayed in a 2-level loft room that was comfortable but the Aircon was not strong enough to chill the room.

Such wonderful customer service - everyone was so pleasant and friendly. We received an upgrade to a villa when we informed the front desk staff (and Gusti, the resort manager) that there were issues with the air-con’s in our two booked rooms. The villa was great: nice and spacious, overlooking the pool. It’s an easy, short walk out the back gate and down the road a little way to reach the lovely Sanur Beach (heaps of eateries and stalls along the walkway connecting right to Sanur CBD). We loved our stay - thank you so very much for having us!

The is a great little property to stay at. The staff were exceptional in making sure that you have everything you need to make your stay a memorable one. The grounds were comforting and soothing. Rooms were clean. Food was good. Just need to make sure the drinks are cold.
Property is a block away from the beach, but its an easy walk. Quiet even though it is on the main road.

We’ve rated the place down because the bed was not clean and it has a very moldy smell that we have to put a towel over to sleep. Sri Phala is a wonderful place to stay. The beautiful oasis setting, to the beautiful rooms( we stayed in a deluxe room), to the wonderful staff. It is located close to the beach, shops, restaurant and markets. The food served at the restaurant is great, and the breakfast buffet is nice touch. The best thing is the staff. They are friendly, accommodating, always say hello, and always smiled.
As well, our flight back home was 1 am, but check out is 12 noon. They stored our stuff, made arrangements for transportation to the airport(for a reasonable fee), and gave us a room around 9 pm the same night, to shower and change from our clothing we worn all day( no fee). This was a real class act. This hotel goes above and beyond when possible.

This was our first stop in Bali and it was a great place to relax and settle into our holiday. The staff are amazing and the food and drinks are lovely and reasonable. It is set about 15 mins walk from the main area meaning it is lovely and quiet but after 7pm when the back door is closed you have to walk along a dark and very busy road with large gapping holes that are about 2-3ft deep. This is not fault of the hotels and we would def stay again!

Lovely hotel with very picturesque pool. Rooms were spacious and cool. There was a mosquito net on the bed however this was the night I woke up very bitten (only my legs that were in the covers). Very unique bathroom with outdoor shower and staff very friendly. Could do with a clearer sign to the lobby as the sign points to the first desk you get to.

Beautiful hotel, the gardens are completely stunning and it's small and cosy. The breakfast is very good. Unfortunately there are some things in my room that didn't work - the phone didn't work, some of the fittings were broken and the pillows were overstuffed and too high. Small things really, for such a gorgeous place - I am going back in a few weeks. Highly recommend.

I felt the resort serene, cosy and pleasant. Staff were cheerful, friendly, very welcoming and always ready to help. Property seemed quite old and some renovation is required. Breakfast was decent, toiletries were more than enough however head dryer is preferable and expected in resorts. Downsides were
1. The water heater jug needs real cleaning or replacement.
2. Light on the varanda
3. And thorough cleaning of the room. Property is old so gets dusty quickly. Overall we rate it 7.9

I love Sri Phala!

I love this place. It was hard to leave. Very family oriented and a great place for solo travelers to make new friends. The staff is so accommodating.

There are downsides: I wouldn’t book the superior room again - it was very dingy. Definitely go for the deluxe or villa. There’s a lot of mold in the bathrooms. Tv and phone typically don’t work. Also, it’s at the very north end of Sanur so a bit of a way from all the action.

However, the grounds are exquisite, price is right and the service is wonderful. I would return again and again.

Resort is lovely, but my room was not very clean. Stained towels, stained floors, stained enamel and tiles in the bathroom, floors not cleaned, lots of hair and dirt. Proper maintenance would make this a nice place, but it’s just not looked after properly.

A perfect location for a night if you are moving out of Bali. This hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the beach that services the tour boats to the Gili islands, the \"scoot\" tour boat office is less than 2 minutes walk around the corner. Its perfect place to stop on your way out of Bali. Sanur beach is quite busy with lots of hotels nad restaurants but suffers from plastic pollution. The closest bit of beach to this hotel is not very clean. the hotel pools and grounds is really nice. rooms are large and quiet and the staff are very friendly. Wifi was good. They can arrange an airport pickup for you, we used it as a stopover only but i would recommend this hotel as good value.

amazing stay in Sanur. We chose this hotel to be near the beach but it was so lovely by the pool that we didn't bother with the beach. The room was very spacious with every comfort needed and a good bathroom. The room was made up each day but the cleaners could do with a little guidance about cleaning mirrors etc. The food in the restaurant was very reasonable and very tasty. The breakfast was superb. The staff were super friendly and smiley at all times. The pool was lovely and warm and immaculately clean.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 week as part of a 2 week stay in Bali. The property is well-maintained with beautiful gardens, albeit an older hotel. It is located a few blocks from the beach, where the fast ferries depart for other islands but is quite a distance from the main Sanur areas for restaurants/shopping (the hotel has a twice daily shuttle there and/or taxis are readily available for $3 or less). There is a grocery store right around the corner which we found handy for beer, water and snacks. We found the staff to be excellent....they went above and beyond. We enjoyed our stay but would have preferred a more central location.

Great little one nighter

Second time we've stayed, this is a great little hotel for a one night stay before heading to Nusa Lembongan. It's dated but clean enough and the staff are very friendly.

So good we extended our stay!

My boyfriend and I booked our stay for three nights initially and then decided to stay for another two. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The pool areas are very nice! The hotel has a free shuttle that takes you to Hardy's a huge Walmart-style shopping center and back. The free breakfast was very nice with many choices. The wifi was great and the room itself felt very resort-like. I would definitely stay here again. Our tub had some draining issues, but that's all I could say that was negative about our stay. It was only about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, which is great and exactly what we wanted. If you're interested in visiting Kuta, I would suggest to check out Sri Paula!!

A surprising oasis off the main road. Such a beautiful villa surrounded by lush tropical gardens and two pools..Beautiful food, close to Sanur beach for our pick up to Lembongan. Our second visit there. We will be back! Terima kasieh Sri Phala :)

I have stayed at many Hotels in Bali over the years...Sri Phala for me is the best one yet and is my home away from home... I highly recommend it...the staff here couldn't be nicer!
