Room was dated and cleaning not 100% (not removing rubbish, hairs on towels etc) however the staff were AMAZING! Very friendly and helpful. Area was ok - on par with the rest of Bali. We felt that this hotel would be absolutely fantastic if it wasn't for the rooms. They let the property down. The food from the hotel restaurant was delicious both breakfast buffet and a al carte evening meal. Bar served stunning drinks particularly the iced teas. Our driver (hotel arranged) was amazing, nothing was too much and he was very knowledgeable on the local areas. Some small areas of improvement to the rooms, for example replacing the stained and cracked bath tub for a nice shower or even a clean tub and investing in a water filtration system rather than having to walk to the end of the long hall for get water would be really elevate the hotel.

The room was a bit dated but well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable! The hotel overall is stunning and has everything you could want. Multiple restaurants and bars, gym with sauna, spa and ice bath, health spa (the Swedish massage was amazing) and a huge atrium style pool which is very child friendly. 2 minutes walk from boardwalk restaurants and 10 from Bali Icon Mall.

Booked a pool view room, got a room looking over a pond when you looked out the window. Was told by reception that the room we were given was an upgraded room! no balcony’s on any rooms!
Room was kept clean daily.
Staff all very friendly and helpful.
Vast amount of breakfast choices, could do installing a proper coffee machine instead of just basic coffee & tea, also tissues on the tables would be good as I don’t think being told to blow your nose on a linen napkin is very hygienic!
Bar staff were all friendly and interested in our stay.
Food in the Komono restaurant by the pool was outstanding and experienced afternoon tea for 2, by the pool, which was lovely, could do with taking away one of the sweet options and putting an extra savoury roll on.
Overall a lovely hotel just not having a balcony wasn’t for us as assumed a pool view room would have balcony!

Hotel was comfortable with good selection for breakfast, restaurant was great. the room was very large, unfortunately we had to change room because the shower was in the bath- I was unable to get in it- due to knee replacement. They gave us the same room with a separate shower; very helpful. I found the pool too difficult to get in , there is only a ladder to enter/ exit. or large steps without rail. I had communicated with the hotel prior to booking to ask about access etc. obviously lost in translation. Overall a nice hotel with good amenities; but not recommended if you have mobility problems. Staff lovely as always in Bali.

This hotel is a fabulous hotel in Sanur especially if you are planning on going across to the islands of Lembongan or Penida after or during your stay as it’s a 10 mins walk to the boat port.

The staff are excellent at the hotel and it’s a nice big spacious hotel with a lovely reception area and cafe/bar in the lobby which serves food and nice selection of drinks.

Room is spacious and comfortable with excellent A/C.

Very nice relaxing pool area with a cafe bar next to it.

Breakfast…..fabulous buffet choice for breakfast. Such an amazing selection of foods, fruits and sweet items.

This is a great choice of hotel and only 5 mins walk to the beach area where you can find lots of cafes and a nice beach walk along the front.

I can’t recommend the spa enough, the massages were the best I’ve ever gotten and the staff all around was super friendly and helpful even going out of their way to help. I did like the gym and smoothie bar, sauna and cold plunge that was available…pretty extensive for a property.

The buffet had a good assortment of local Balinesian and western food choices.

The rooms were well appointed, I wish they had outside balconies on the upper floors, yet that is the design of the building, vs the property itself

Big hotel, ~300 bedrooms and many meeting/conference facilities. Some of the bedroom fixtures and fittings needed attention. Probably a 400m walk from the street entrance to my room. Well-equipped and well-attended gym. No Indonesian food restaurant options due (I was told) to March being a quiet month. Good breakfast buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Big pool between 200m long accommodation blocks, not used because of wet weather. This is a good hotel for business and conference guests, but is too far from good quality tourist prerequisites such as shopping, range of eateries, massage/spa services, etc.

I cannot say enough good things. The staff really made our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Especially Wai Yan (sp?) who made delicious happy hour drinks at the poolside bar. I feel like I made a new friend as we had several great discussions! The pool is beautiful and very quiet (we were there in low season - Feb) the breakfast was also incredible and so was room service. There was construction going on for a couple of hours every day which was very noisy at the pool. I wish I had known that but we were usually out and about and the staff apologized for it personally more than once. I understand people have to work and you can’t close down a whole hotel for a little bit of Reno. No big deal. Just ask about it if you plan to stay here in the next little while. But such good value for money, superb service and the kindest staff I have ever encountered.

Unfortunately a disappointing stay. Arrived at the advertised check in time and was told we had to wait another hour for our room to be ready - sat by reception and saw multiple people arrive and check in to their rooms whilst we were still waiting. Room still wasn’t ready an hour later but after complaining we were told we could go to the room but it wasn’t finished? Never had this before.

Told on check in we had breakfast included in our stay, arrived at breakfast the next morning to be told it wasn’t included and tried to charge us. Didn’t bother in the end.

The room was okay but quite tired - king bed is 2 king single beds pushed together.

From arriving to leaving the staff were welcoming and helpful. Having a courtesy bus was great. So location was good for most things. As with most accommodation in Bali little maintenance things are happening or need doing. Would stay again.

Average hotel, dirty spa, tasteless breakfast

Stayed a week, unfortunately. Had status for upgrade yet claimed they didn’t have a room, turned out untrue.
Was SO looking forward to using the spa to relax daily. Went for a 2-hr massage, yet 10 mins in, the pulsing bass of the loud gym music vibrated the walls. What “spa” allows such disturbance? I walked out. Spa front desk attendant was rude and also didn’t realize I completely understood her mumbling. Very unprofessional spa! They don’t even stop the Asian men from entering both jacuzzis with their nasty see-through underwear they walked in the door with (yucks)! Yet they make sure to tell the Europeans don’t go in nude! Jacuzzi was dirty and had thick scum on walls. Spa was a total gross disappointment…not forgetting the ridiculous 25% upcharge on all spa treatments!
I hung the “clean room” sign and would come back to the sign flipped THREE different times to “do not disturb” (an excuse for them not to clean the room).
First day had jet lagged, wanted to sleep. Two hours of banging/scraping AC next door. Thought it was over and then they started drilling on room to right…. OMG four hours of hell!!
Breakfast was so tasteless and gross with fruit flies on the “healthy food” that we didn’t bother waking up to eat breakfast after day two.
Pool was nice and the restaurant by the pool had better food than breakfast buffet or restaurant. Bad area for food unless you live at KFC or eat at hotel. Good location if island hopping, but we couldn’t wait to leave.

Check in was 30 minutes late and they waited for me to come to them rather than coming to me in the lobby waiting area for me to get my keys.

Lighting in room had backlight that was on when card was inserted so if I wanted light in the bathroom I had to wake up my wife.

Breakfast buffet was a great addition to our room. The property is right down the street from the beach and a short walk to the harbor to go to the neighboring islands.

I would stay again but probably be a little more assertive about the beds.

The beds were comfortable, though.

I stayed here very comfortably for two nights. It is a bit further from the main touristy part of Sanur, but a 5 minute walk from the closest beach (with a walkway that connects to other beaches) and a quick Grab ride to the busier parts if that’s your scene. Room was clean, staff was accommodating, and the pool area was unique with a volleyball net and basketball hoop - nice touches. Would stay here again!

Bathroom door was jammed open so zero privacy (staying with a girlfriend so night ideal) there. Only 1 pillow on the bed, no extras in the room. Pretty standard room all round actually. On the upside the resort itself looked nice, everything very clean. Reception and concierge Super friendly and warm. To be fair I got a VERY cheap rate for the night I stayed so it was fine. Location was super convenient for us as only a 4 minute walk to the boat terminal to take us to Nusa Lembongan.

Have been returning to Prime Plaza Hotel for many years, the staff are always friendly and the shuttle to their sister hotel the Prime Plaza Suites down the road is a great service to use the water slide.
