Sarah & Marc met us as we arrived with a drink & a chat to welcome us. The room with en-suite was beautifully decorated, clean & quiet.
The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked.

We received a nice personal welcome by Graham. Coffee served on arrival whilst he took our cases to our room. We filled in a form for our breakfast needs for the following morning and the time we would like to eat

Bathroom had female personal items just in case it was needed. I loved the big soft bath towels too.
Breakfast was cooked to perfection and ample. Car parking facilities was ideal.
Paignton beach was just a 5minutes walk away. All in all and ideal place to stay.

We got a lovely warm welcome with coffee and a friendly chat on arrival. Our luggage was taken up to our room for us. The room was spotless and very comfy. The choice of breakfast was superb and the host was a great cook. The location is great with it being just over five to walk to the town and the train station. We will definitely use this guest house again if back in the area.

As always a warm welcome, friendly staff and a clean and tidy room, lovely breakfast and a bar for relaxing in the evening. Located in a good position with easy access to the beach, cinema and town centre with both bus and train stations making getting about the area simple.

Even before we arrived we were advised that our room was ready so could check in early. On arrival we were greeted and offered a hot drink. The service and friendliness of the hosts was exceptional. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely use it for future trips to Paignton.

What a gem of a hotel, only 6 bedrooms. Arrived and got offered a drink, thats a first for me. I had a single room which was a perfect size. There is a mention of toiletries but so much more than usual. Breakfast was ordered the day before and for covid reasons there were time slots that you could choose from. Breakfast was excellent

We stayed 4 nights in the Family Room. From the moment we arrived, our hosts were very welcoming and during our stay couldn't do enough for us. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space. We had a good size TV, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, etc. Great choice of breakfast, which was fantastic every day. We will certainly be staying again.

Highly recommend the Ambassador Hotel based on the excellent service from Lesley and Graham. They will look after you beautifully but also not be ontop of you. The room was an excellent size and very clean. There was a fridge with cold drinks when we arrived on a hot day. The bed was declared very comfortable by my husband and i loved the walk in shower, i would like one in my own home. Breakfast was excellent. The owners were very considerate of covid regulations and i felt safe in their space. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and the town centre, very convenient. We found out useful that the small car park also had hooks to secure the bikes to. Thank you for our stay

Unbelievable value
Everything about our stay was right. Although difficult times our hosts did everything to ensure we were safe, they were safe & other guests were safe. We felt from the second we arrived we were going to be looked after and our host really cared about their guests. We had visited the Ambassador previously and although different hosts the standard of the accommodation was just as high if not better. Although we only stayed one night we saw enough to give our hosts a 10 out of 10.

We only stayed here for a night but we’re very impressed with the passion these people are investing in their family business. There’s not a single thing we didn’t liked, but only nice things to say about the place and the owners. Spotless clean and delicious breakfast. Considering the times, social distancing was very seriously taken into consideration. The location is awesome, being so close to the beach, pier and the high street. Would love to go back again!

Everything I’d expect from a much pricier establishment. My room and indeed all of the hotel interior was spotlessly clean, breakfast was cooked to perfection and it’s always good to find complimentary water and quality tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. It’s a sign of attention to detail and this place has it.

Brilliant guest house. Friendly, helpful. Location excellent for town and beach. Biker friendly. They have 4 secure ground anchors to lock your bike into. Don’t see those much even in so called high class hotels. Would definitely recommend

Such a lovely B&B - Graham and Lesley were amazing - so firnedly and welcoming. I only stayed one night but they’d made sure I had everything I needed. The room was really clean and nicely decorated, and breakfast was fab!

On arrival I was initially met by the proprietor who offered me tea/coffee/fruit juice.
a) The room was spotless.
b) Furniture was new and of good quality (Solid wood ect)
c) In room tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits were all available and in abundance.
4) Bathroom was clean and had a nice sized two people shower.
5) Good selection of channels on the TV
6) Breakfast was amazing (You will not be disappointed)
7) Very easy going proprietors.
8) Fantastic price for such a quality stay.
Overall I can;t fault this guest house in any way (And I am normally very critical!).

Breakfast was amazing and was a great set up for the rest of the day, and really was tasty 😁close to all tourist hotspots so saved money on fuelling cars and will definitely book again, would certainly recommend as we really enjoyed the weekend stay xx

Very friendly little B+B/hotel (6 rooms in total). Breakfast was included and you've got a choice of freshly cooked English breakfast (pick your own items from 4 different eggs, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash brown etc), \"continental\" or cereal. Mark and Yvonne (the owners who live on site) were friendly and seemed to recognise each just by name. It is within 3 minutes walk of the Paignton sea front and near Queens Park, but it is astonishingly quiet (apart from seagulls).
Negatives? In late July, the rooms could do with air conditioning: whilst the double glazed windows do open very wide, sea gulls can be noisy animals! Breakfast is only served between 8am and 9am, checkout is quite early at 10am (although the welcome pack says they can be flexible). Free wifi was mentioned in welcome pack, but I didn't managed to find it on my phone. That's about it.

Alles perfekt, super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, Zimmer sehr sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Guter Parkplatz vorhanden. Frühstück sehr lecker, Toast, Ei, frisches Obst, Müsli oder traditionell, wie man es eben möchte. Lage ideal, alles in der Nähe, Läden, Restaurants, Meer. Hotel perfekt und nur zu empfehlen, besser geht es nicht !
