The hotel was immaculately clean. Pool was lovely (though chilly!). Beds really comfortable and rooms had everything needed. All staff were friendly and approachable. Communal areas comfortable (and gave much needed space to sit together as a family group during a prolonged thunder storm). Everything about our stay was pleasant and comfortable. There is some noise from a nearby hotel that plays music until late which meant having to sleep with the balcony door shut. Otherwise, the location is fabulous - an easy walk to the lake and to the shops and restaurants in town. I miss it already.

The building and grounds are lovely however the pool area is very small with a very limited number of beds. We found out on check in the beds had to be booked for the pool but majority had been booked the night before by other guests so only shade beds available which was not ideal for what we wanted. It was also very hard to move around the pool area as it is so tight and small.

We arrived before the advertised check in time and the receptionist was quite abrupt not a friendly welcome almost an inconvenience to her. Overall the whole check in experience was negative, no warm welcome or any explanation of the hotel and as above only informed of the bed situation when asked if it was possible to use the pool before our room was ready.

Overall an ok experience, the room was nice enough but outdated and the location was perfect but due to the receptionist and pool situation I wouldn’t stay again if we returned.

Lovely hotel in great location

The hotel is beautiful and looks very pretty just a short walk from the lake to amazing views.

Very well located and great facilities.

Rooms were a good size; we had an executive suite which I was worried about based on previous rooms saying small, but I felt they were a good size with really good size shower room. Very clean.

Car parking extremely convenient and secure, and very well priced.

Was lovely to see many visitors with their dogs which was great to know for possible future stays.

The spa facilities are also a great feature.

The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. I cannot say enough about the three young ladies at the front desk! We needed to ship some items back to the states and they went above and beyond to assist us this is! They found boxes for us, created shipping labels and communicated with the post office to make sure everything was correct. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the lake shore shopping area where you find restaurants, shops and the water ferry. Beautiful area to visit and I hope to return some day.

Was staying hear for our hoonymoon. Was very disappointed. Lovely hotel but stay and service's were a let down. Not accomodating towards hotel services, you had to book in advance for sunbeds, or just hope one was free after 5pm when the sun goes down. You we charged extra for spa useg even though it's a spa hotel. We booked this hotel for the use of the spa. When we booked the spa the lady nerv showed up and let us down. We couldn't do what we wanted or booked to do for our hoonymoon.

This was a lovely hotel to stay. Unfortunately, the weather conditions were very rainy so couldn’t make much use of the pool. The hotel has a lovely pool and jacuzzi but the direction the hotel faces means the sunlight is blocked for a lot of the day.

The hotel was really well placed. Only a 5 minute walk to the ferry or bus, and two minutes to the shops and restaurants.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very nice as were the cocktails served in the bar. Would highly recommend based on location and service.

Fantastic Hotel, Service and Location

This is a beautiful classically updated Italian style hotel in a fantastic location. Two minutes walking distance to the historic centre of Bardolino, the Borgo and lake of Garda. Easy access to and from main streets for exploring the nearby villages and sights. Front desk was very helpful and breakfast along with excellent service, was on the top floor with beautiful views of the lake. A dip in the on-site pool also great after a long day. Highly recommended.

Palace San Pietro - Great Location, Great Pool

This hotel is a great choice that is very close to Bardolino's center area. A very short walk to dozens and dozens of shops, restaurants, bars and fun. Also very close to water's edge where there is a great boardwalk, rocky beach area and plenty to see. Rooms were clean, the bathroom is large with a nice shower, and each room has a balcony with two seats and a table to enjoy the view. Only downside for us was that we were there during the recent \"heat wave\" and the A/C could barely keep up. While room was tolerable, it was not \"comfortable\" due to temperature. In fairness, the heat was highly unusual (over 38C / 98F) and the system simply couldn't keep up. But the good news is that the hotel has an excellent pool and a nice shaded garden area where one could cool off and relax. Also a very nice restaurant up on the roof with great views and good food. We would certainly go back again.

First Rate Hotel

A fantastic hotel, just a short distance from the centre of Bardolino. A very enjoyable experience, the service was very friendly and first rate, the pool area was very clean and relaxing with a great bar service. No complaints about the rooms and facilities. A great 3 day chill out!
The hidden gem was the Terrace restaurant on the top floor, the food was excellent together with the warm welcome and faultless service afforded by Ignatious and the rest of the team.

Definitely recommend this nice quiet hotel. Great base for Bardolino and the towns of Lake Garda. Simple hotel and lovely staff. We only did B&B so can’t advise on quality of dinners but if you were to judge it by that of the breakfast you wouldn’t go wrong...simply excellent!

Our stay was fantastic.

The room was clean and well presented and the facilities excellent. We were not expecting to actually see the lake from our room as it was advertised as a garden view and the hotel is set back from the water, but if you look to the left or right of our balcony you could see the lake and the mountains in the distance, so we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are reasonably sound proofed from the road.

Choice of breakfast food was great. Standard continental breakfast with a lovely selection of fresh fruit. There was also what looked like freshly made breakfast pastries, breads etc... You wouldn't go hungry.

Pool is great. I'm not normally a fan of shared pools, but it was quiet enough with an outside table service. The heated pool is salt water. I suffer with eczema and found it was less harsh than normal chemical/chlorine pools.

Location of the hotel was excellent, we didn't realise how close it was to all of the other restaurants and shops in Bardolino. 2 min walk down the path. It really is in the middle of the tourist area, but far away enough not to be too loud etc... The hotel is situated against a quiet one-way street and is surrounded with foliage.

We had an issue with our taxi service through expedia. The hotel managed to smooth over the issues. Always better Italian to Italian.

We had a fantastic holiday. We are already thinking of coming again next year. San Pietro will definitely be at the top our list for a future visit.

Welcoming Spa like at a great value!

Hotel San Pietro is a very welcoming place to stay in Bardolino. Well worth 4 stars! The room was beautifully decorated, very spa like; modern bathroom. The breakfast was not only delicious with a great number of delicious offerings, but it's served on the Terraza with a gorgeous view of Lake Garda.
The entire staff was very professional and welcoming!
Great value for such a lovely hotel.
Would definetly stay here again... Wish I could return to Bardolino!

Executive room by pool not best choice but when moved due to the understanding of staff and availability our week was fabulous. So close to Lake, shops restaurants and town and yet so quiet and traditional setting. The refurbished rooms are excellent and the staff are its prized asset. Ignatious , your smile at breakfast everyday announcing weather and passion to please makes it a wonderful environment. We don't speak any other languages but there wass a Keats someone who spoke the many different languagessoken by the visitors. Going again in not too distant future. We had a day to wait and the changing / shower room and accommodating staff at no extra charge is rare.
PS please continue to upgrade wifi, could be better but hardly used it which was a good thing in hindsight

I really liked this hotel. The pool and Jacuzzi area was extremely clean and inviting. The staff were helpful and attentive and the rooms clean, comfortable and quiet (although the air con) didn't work in our room which was such a shame as I think we would of had a brilliant nights sleep otherwise. The breakfast gave a great selection and great views on the terrace where it was served. I loved that the waiter gave us a bit of paper with the weather, places to see in the area and the specials for the restaurant. What a lovely touch.

I would definitely recommend. Looked like the best hotel by far in the area.

Great service for wedding dinner

A group of us stayed at San Pietro and we hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner there. They couldn't have been any more helpful with the dinner, the price was reasonable, and the food was delicious. The wine choices were good and well priced. I was really thrilled with the event, and I host a lot of events in the U.S.
The rooms were comfortable and reasonably priced. The larger room price is well worth the extra price. Pool area is lovely. Lobby was pleasant for gatherings.
Easy walk to shops, restaurants, lake, and recreation.

Two suggestions for the hotel:
- I have come to expect hair conditioner for the shower, and was sorry not to have it.
- The hotel needs at least one iron and ironing board for guests to borrow. I understand that you send laundry out, but guests rely on touch ups. Our group borrowed one from another hotel.

should definitely be replaced!
We had a deluxe room and when asking why there
was no balcony answer was that is was the biggest

Great hotel in a great position, about 2 minutes and you were in the town. Good restaurant and reasonably priced. Staff were very helpful and always pleasant.
The only one minor fault I could find was the area around the pool was a bit tight and could do with more beds, but this did by no means spoil our stay at this lovely hotel.
Would definitely stay here again when we come back.

Very good hotel

Opposed to some Italian \"4-star\" hotels, this one really lives up to the 4 stars. The rooms have very comfortable beds, 3 sizes of pillows to choose from (!), comfortable air condition, etc. The breakfast is included and has about everything (at least for us Europeans). The pool is nice and there is a bar just by the pool where you can buy refreshments. The hotel is just 3 minutes of walk from the very busy streets of Bardolino, so you learn to appreciate that those 3 minutes of walk isolates you from the noise.

San Pietro Hotel is in a fantastic location only a few minutes walk from the centre where the restaurants, bars and lake are. If you are looking for a hotel with Italian character then this is perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But as a couple in our 30's we felt we didn't really fit in compared to the average guest age. It is only our opinion as others may appreciate the charm but it could do with updating. The wifi worked great, the pool and garden area looked lovely although we didn't use the pool. The breakfast was poor with little choice. Overall it is expensive for compared to hotels a little further out.

Ideal Location

From our arrival at the hotel to the morning of our departure we were made most welcome by everyone at the San Pietro. We had a room overlooking the pool which was very good and well kept by the housekeeping staff. .We had friendly greetings from the housekeeping staff as we left our rooms and this continued with everyone from breakfast onwards. The Maitre 'D' was charming and efficient and the waiters & waitresses were also. When we dined at the hotel the standard of food was really good, had we dined every day we would have travelled home as excess baggage! We were pleased with the position of the Hotel, it was within a few minutes walk to both the town and the lakeside and the hotel itself was quiet and relaxing .We look forward to returning sometime in the future.

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel San Pietro. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and I would stay there again. The only thing I would do different is book a larger room, the standard doublerooms are awfully small. The hotel also has a very convenient location, it definitely deserves 4 Stars.

Ideal as a base to relax when taking in the sights

Very conveniently located without being in a noisy area. Good swimming pool and a small garden area to relax in. Not a lot of area around the swimming pool, but sufficient sunbeds to ensure one was always available.
Good breakfast with plenty of choice - we didn't eat any other meals here so can't commenton them!
All in all, a very well kept hotel that provided the opportunity to spend some time relaxing in between venturing out to see the local sights. I would not hestitate to recommend this hotel.

Das Frühstück und der dazugehörige Service haben wir sehr genossen.
Am Pool gab es immer eine freie Liege.

Rigtig god service, smilende og imødekommende. Hyggeligt og skønt hotel. Pool lækker opvarmet. Men dårlig plads i solsiden til liggestole. Super beliggenhed. Tæt på byen. Fantastisk morgenmad.

Professionalism and service at it’s best!

What a wonderful experience! Our entire group of 8 was beyond impressed with the professionalism and level of service shown to us during our 4 night stay. I cannot say enough about the warm reception on arrival, helpful assistance in organising shuttles, the excellent breakfast and wonderful, attentive staff who catered to us. Super friendly, always smiling and top notch service! Our room was also immaculately cleaned with fresh towels each day. We are so looking forward to our return in 2025!

Einzigartig ist der beheizte Aussenpool und der moderne Wellnessbereich,den man separat nur für sich buchen kann sowie das überaus freundliche,hilfsbereite Personal.
Im Frühstücksbereich in der 4.Etage mit großer Glasfront und uneingeschränkten Seeblick, kann man ganz entspannt seinen Urlaubstag beginnen.
