I chose Beringgis as I wanted to get away from busy city hotels. So this is a great location for like minded people. Wonderful sunset after some rain. Dinner menu is a bit limited but there was a good breakfast spread. The waiters were very attentive.
Please bring mosquito repellant as there are lots of them when out and about. The spa was a bit disappointing. Closed on Tuesday which is the day I arrived. But the reception staff managed to book me a whole body massage for the following day and arranged late check-out. Although massage was good, there was only one room with 3 couches. I would not have felt comfortable if there were other guests on the adjacent couch.

Stayed 4 nights. Hired a car for ease of getting around Sabah. Room was fine, but needed better space for hanging clothes. We loved the large ceiling fan as an option to wall air con system. The bathroom could do with a little repair work and there was a slight ongoing leak at the back of the toilet. Welcome table and chairs outside the room. Pleasant, peaceful, relaxing setting despite occasional overhead aircraft. Nice pool, with delightful young attendant. Breakfast disappointing if you're not keen on Asian style. Not a huge choice of dishes on evening menu, but everything we ordered was very good. Neither food nor drinks (or the laundry service) were pricey.

The hotel is not very Close to KK, however if you know this in advance and if you look for a relaxing and enjoyable time, then go there. It is a wonderful place with much tranquility. And special thanks to the lovely hotel Manager, Donny, and to the Beach Restaurant waitress Ida. They made our stay even more comfortable.

This is a middle of the range resort. Clean and friendly. Good hospitality. Swimming pool ok. Did not swim in the sea. Looks ok to me. There is a lots of room for improvements of the Restaurant. There is little to do around. Need a \"Teksi\" (Taxi) to go and eat in nearby restaurants or in the city of Kota Kinabalu.

from the moment we checked in we felt very happy with our choice of hotel.The staff without exception were friendly warm and very welcoming.We can't speak highly enough of Donny ,the manager,he shared a lot of the cutler and helped guide us on the best tours for our fist visit to KK,every day he inquired if we were alright,and asked if there was anything we needed to make our stay more enjoyable.The young man Earl who looked after the pool was amazing ,in all my travels I have never come across a man who spent so much time and energy running around insuring all guest were safe and comfortable!!.From the lovely ladies at the front desk ,the staff in the restaurant to the gardeners we had nothing but smiles ,warmth and politeness.We felt we had 5 star treatment at this 3star hotel.Berringus hotel is a real find 25minutes from city centre.We will define toy be going back!

This hotel is just ok. I stayed in an older room - it had everything I needed but was worn and torn. Still, it was fine. When I first arrived the place seemed deserted, which was a little eerie. The beach wasn't that great, which was the main attraction for me. In the pictures the beach looks amazing, but in reality it's littered with trash and the water isn't clear at all. The pool was just fine. The food was just ok. Hotel staff were nice and helpful, although they gave me the wrong price for a taxi to the airport and I almost didn't have enough Ringgits to cover the fee. Overall ok, but I wouldn't go back.

After one year back to this resort we felt disappointed. Especially the breakfast is not more choice compare to previous year. We used to be the regular to this resort. Secondly is the room ( Dinawan )is become old.

Tullessa respassa oltiin todella ystävällisiä, mutta sitten kun ilmeni ongelmia tyyli muuttui lähes välinpitämättömäksi. Ensimmäisenä iltana huoneemme täyttyi lentomuurahaisista ja henkilökunta keskittyi laulamaan joululauluja😡. Seuraavaksi huoneemme WC lakkasi toimimasta, oli todella vaikeaa saada vaihdettua huonetta. Seuraavassa huoneessa WC:tä oli käytetty ja huone haisi vir... WC ei toiminut. Ilmastointi ei toiminut,säätimessä ei pattereita.
Aamupalalla vain munakkaan sai kuumana, muuten ruuat haaleita tai ne lopussa.
Uima-altaaseen ei tullut mieleenkään mennä.

Just watch out for the jellyfish and even if you ignore the warning the staff is ever so patient to take care of (silly) you (but still, better not try to beat the jelly's and just enjoy a walk along the beautiful beach)!

It's near the beach but overall are bad
The view of the beach is quite good. The sunset with the beach is great. But all others are bad. First of all, the resort is far from city centre. All of the local tour need to charge with extra cost for hotel pick up. The beach has jellyfish that we could not swim there. The taxi is expensive from the hotel to the city. The staff is not helpful. The hot water has been broken in the first night of our stay which we need to shower with cold water. We booked spa there but the staff has been late and did not open the spa in the first hour of our booking. The bathtub is extremely dirty that we are not dare to use. There are nothing nearby the resort. The restaurant inside the resort is not good and the food is not tasty and expensive. We will not stay here in the future anymore.

아름다운 정원과 수영장
도심에서 50링깃의 택시비를 주고 갔어요. 거리가 좀 멀다는 뜻이죠? 정원이 아름답고 수영장이 있어서 선택했는데 수영장을 넓고 깊지도 않아서 아주 마음에 들었고 어린이 풀은 미끄럼틀까지 있어 아이들 있는 집은 좋을 것 같아요. 정원에 나무들은 아름드리 나무들이 많아 아주 마음에 들었답니다. 조식은 만족스럽지는 않았어요. 모기와 파리 때문에 오랫동안 저녁식사를 즐길 수는 없었어요. 주변에 식당이나 과일파는 가게 조차 찾아볼 수 없어요. 하루 4회 셔틀버스가 센터포인트까지 운행됩니다. 1인 17링깃을 주면 되니까 오래 머무를 분들은 나가서 쇼핑이나 관광을 하다가 들어오면 될 것 같아요. 저희는 2박 머물렀는데 들어갈 때 과일과 과자,음료수를 사가지고 들어갔어요. 푹 쉬고 싶은 분들은 참 좋을 것 같아요. 아침엔 해변에 물이 가득 들어와있어서 해변 산책은 어렵지만 오후에 해변 산책은 참 좋았어요.

렌트카없이는 호텔에서 지내야만 할 정도로 시골스러운 곳에 위치, 아기와 가족끼리 조용하고 힐링을 원하다면 괜찮은 곳인데, 야시장도 가보고 싶고 코타키나발루의 곳곳을 보고싶었던 우리로선 최선의 선택은 아닌듯.

시내에서 공항에서 차타고 45분 가야하는거리. 주변에 아무것도 없눈것이 아쉽지만 15링깃하는 셔틀버스를 타고 들어오면 비치도 잇고 수영장도 잇고 큰 정원도잇습니다. 조용한 곳에서 조용하게 지내고 싶다면 강추인 호텔 물에 들어가진 못햇지만 해변의 석양도 너무 예뻣고 수영장도 너무 좋앗어요. 특히 정원이 예쁘게 꾸며져잇고 호텔자체가 이국적이게 잘 꾸며져 있는듯. 직원들 너무 친절하고 다 너무 잘해주셨습니다. 객실 의 반 넘게는 한국인이었던것 같고 조식 상태는 좀 아쉬웠습니다. 가격에 비해 상태 굉장히 좋았던 안락한 휴양공간이었네요 잘쉬다 왔습니다!
