It was okay. Staff were professional but seems as if they're in mourning whenever I appeared. Conversations just stopped, etc. It's the hospitality industry. You might have to talk with people who don't look like you. Sorry. Rooms were fairly clean. The thing about the tourist tax and deposit was annoying. They only accept cash but there's no ATM in the lobby. I already paid online but I have to make a cash deposit and such. I asked for another towel because I had to use one for the floor and the other had fallen. They charged me 10 ringgit cash and did not return it upon check out. Why am I being charged for a towel that I am not going to keep?Modern aesthetic but it's pretty scuffed up. Carpeted corners have plenty of dust. Pool was running and seemed clean. Café/Restaurant was clean. Food was fresh and reasonably priced. It an okay hotel.

one option close to airport

Not a hotel to say anything exciting about. It’s ok if you’re looking for a place closer to the airport. TV was not working, internet disappointing, no breakfast on one day, the next day they had no jam for the toast, pool was very busy.
Rooms are ok though.

Firstly, if you read that this hotel has a free shuttle from the airport, don’t believe it (like I did before I booked based on it). There is no shuttle and this is false advertising. Secondly, if you write to them via Expedía, other than them telling you there is no shuttle, you won’t get any response to questions about taxis or any other forms of transport to get there. I tried three times with no reply. My advice is to download the Grab app (I read they took over Uber here) then use it with airport wifi when you arrive. I did and it worked perfectly (and the fare is about US$1 so a good tip in cash is well in order).

As for the hotel itself, the rooms are clean and modern so don’t be put off by the corridors to them. The pool area on the roof is quite nice (although the bar there is closed since covid) but there is nowhere to sit and if just one family with kids is there it’s not really worth staying around other than just to dip. I didn’t get to sample the breakfast as my flight (at 8.30am so not ridiculously early) meant I had to leave before it commenced. All in all, if you need a hotel for one night to make a connection next morning, this place will certainly do the trick.

When checking in was told I had a free upgrade, then they in Malaysian changed their mind. Disappointed mis-informed. Room tired. No information given less room number and card. Cheap hotel.

Nice and close to airport, great shuttle service between airport and hotel if you need an early flight etc. But we were there twice both Xmas day and New Year’s Eve and there was only WiFi in the lobby, which meant we spent loads calling home to family at Xmas. Good value and room was clean, pool area needs a bit of tlc and closes early, we were hoping to watch the New year fireworks from the rooftop but they said no, it’s locked. All the staff were friendly and helpful

Great stay!

This hotel is great value for money. Stayed with friends before and after we climbed Mount Kinabalu. Clean and comfortable and the staff were very accomodating. Also in an excellent location - about 10 minutes taxi to the airport or into town. Wouldn't recommend eating or drinking there - although the quality of the food was ok and they did their best to serve us, they seemed to be short of supplies. Aside from that, we had a fantastic stay.

Cons: close to the airport, short drive. Within driving distance to downtown Kk as well. Point is, you definitely need a car.
Pro: cheap, affordable, offers rooftop bar and in house restaurant (but we didn't try both so no comment on fnb quality). Very friendly and professional staff. The room was clean and the bed was nice and comfy.

Issues: we found termites / bugs? In our bathtub. The bathrooms have a clear glass panel with some frosted parts facing the opposite building. If you stay on a higher floor you are mostly alright but if someone had a pair of binoculars somewhere... You'll be a good free show. However, I can only imagine if you are on a lower floor, you'd be directly opposite the other building.. not sure how privacy during naked time is going to work out there.

Other than that it is a good hotel to crash for the night. Clean beds, good staff and ok location. Would recommend.

The worst hotel i had been to thus far ! It's been a nightmare staying in this hotel. The staffs were extremely ill mannered, ranging from the receptionists to the cleaning staffs. All were poorly trained without knowing the proper etiquette in dealing with customers. One incidence in particular really made me furious about the management of this hotel. I was staying in the family suite from 2nd Nov - 6th Nov and during that period the cleanliness of the room were poorly maintained. Stains were not cleaned even after daily housekeeping. Soaps were not replenished and it seemed that the housekeepers tend to keep those items for themselves. But the most shocking part of all was when i was about to check out on the 6th Nov, i was refused for the refunds of my deposits as i was told there were 4 face towels (6 were supposed to be given as there are 3 single rooms in the family suites) missing during their housekeeping check of the rooms. But the reality was that on the 5th Nov the housekeeping staff was not replacing the face towels completely as she took off the 6 face towels and only replaced with 2 of them. I actually wanted to complain it to the housekeeping but on second thought, it would be my last night staying there which i finally gave up the idea of making a case out of it. And it proved to be my mistake eventually. I was accused of taking their 4 lousy and dirty face towels which they failed to replace in the first place. Trust me, avoid this hotel at all cost.

I got room with sea view and its so beautiful . The room is tidy and clean.You will feel secure because every person have to use access card even to use the lift. Got swimming pool above the hotel. Near to Tanjung Aru Beach and there are few restaurants nearby.Recommended for your value of money.

Great 5 day stay. Location of hotel close to the beach (15 minute walk). Lots of small shops and a supermarket with 5 minute walk. Good variety of places to eat: Seafood right by hotel very good. Local restaurants in small local town opposite hotel. Several in park on way to beach as well. Would recommend hotel to stay.

Beautiful rooms. We had a studio room that came with a kingbed and a sitting area. The bathroom is huge and came with a view if you climb up a bit onto the bath. There is a small infinity pool up on the top floor and a good view of the surrounding area of the town of Tanjung Aru. Also a good view for sunset over the sea and islands. They also have a little cafe in the foyer, and a rooftop bar. The staff are very helpful. We also used their complimentary shuttle to the airport when we left. There are little shops and eating places within walking distance to the small town. Perdana Park is also nearby. Short driving distance to the city. Not far from the beach too. However, the school next door uses a loudspeaker for announcements all thru the day. So can get quite noisy.

Comfortable and Near the Airport

I stayed her for less than 12 hours to be honest. I just got back from climbing Mount Kinabalu and I screwed up my own booking coz I mistook the information on the website! Not all rooms have bathtubs, ok? When I arrived, I couldn't get into my room as the key card did not work and I had to go down to reception (painfully) THREE TIMES before they realised there was something wrong with the door and not the card!

Rest assured, this further reinforced my decision to never climb that mountain again!

The hotel is clean, huge and looks new. My room was just perfect, the size, the bathroom. The bed & pillows was so so comfortable I had a very good sleep. I love how there is a reading nook near the window too!

Did not try breakfast or room service here. Reception wasn't so helpful the day before but the girls on the day I checked-out was great! Location is very near to the airport, you can practically hear planes taking off every 5 minutes.

Unsure about the surrounding area (too painful to even get out of bed). Would most definitely come back if I am in KK for short trip!

Stayed here for one night as we flew into KK in the evening. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the airport so pretty convenient. Rooms were a pretty good standard especially the bathroom with an excellent shower. There isn't much around the hotel - a couple of cafes and a KFC which was the only drawback

Its just Ok

Stayed there for a one night stopover. Had difficulty with the hotel sending over their shuttle. It wasnt that they didnt want to, its that the shuttlebus has no wordings on it that let me know its C'haya hotel. After waiting an hour for the bus, we just took an Uber to the Hotel for less than $3-4 USD. The distance was about 10-15min. Hotel had a muslim vibe, i liked the curtains and window style. Bathroom was western, room was okay for sleeping in. Bug free and cozy. Price was okay too. In summary, this hotel does nothing to stand out, but also does nothing too terribly to say its a bad choice. Stay here if price is right and you need to be close to airport.

Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Shuttle service mixup at the airport, couldn't locate the driver because he wasn't actively looking for us. Wandered around airport for one hour, finally had to call the hotel before he came in to the airport, didn't hold up signboard either as promised. First room we were given smelled of smoke even though it was non smoking room. Next room was better. Restaurant did not have all the items on the menu, slightly overpriced. Go next door to the seafood restaurant instead, really good food there.

we stayed in after we descend from Mount Kinabalu. the location is known for most driver and near to Airport. We check in very late and we forget to inform them, however they still keep the room for us. :)
because of tired and laziness, we call for dining in room, the price is slightly higher than usual but is worth because quite good especially the famous Tualan Noodle.
Room is clean and comfortable, the housekeeping service very efficient when we called for room service, laundry and so on..

Disappointed that the pool shuts very early -6pm!! Booked specifically so I could swim after check in but told it was closed.

최악입니다. 가족여행 9년차에 이런 나쁜호텔은 처음이예요. 호텔도 전체적으로 낙후되었고, 주변엔 공사장, 호텔직원이 수영장 구석에서 버젓이 담배피우고, 공항드랍 신청했는데 자기는 몰랐다며 연락도 안해주고..스탭들간에 그정도 인수인계도 안하는지... 수영장 물도 더러워요. 그리고 방에 두었던 햄버거 상자에 도마뱀 발견~~~말 다했지요. 차야호텔 때문에 만족스러웠던 여행이 조금의 오점을 남겼어요..다시는 안가요. 주변에도 알리렵니다.

밤에 도착으로 체크인을 12시 넘어서 했는데 체크인할때 보조금을 받는다
그러고 숙소안을 확인했는데 전체적으로 괜찮은 편이나 숙소안에 칫솔,치약이 없어서 개인으로 들고온걸 사용했고 샤워타올이 없어 개인적으로 가져온 스폰지를 사용했다
콘센트는 모든나라가 사용할수있는게 설치되어있으니 좋음
퇴실후 짐 보관이 가능해서 비행기시간까지 구경하기 좋고
퇴실때 보조금을 돌려준다

全体的にハズレでした。

サイトの写真で見るより実際はきれいではなかった。バスタブのある三階の部屋に泊まったが、窓にスクリーン等がなく外から見えてしまう状態だったためスタッフに目隠しできないか確認したところ、黒いゴミ袋を窓にテープで貼ってくれた。何かしらやってくれた事は感謝するが、土足で作業されたのと目隠しが甘かったので結局入浴は諦めた。また、夜は隣のお店と飛行機の騒音でゆっくり寝る事もできなかった。
アメニティに歯ブラシセットがなかった事がびっくりした。早朝フライトの為の短時間滞在だったので耐えられたが、二度と泊まらないと思った。

공항에 가까워서 예약한 호텔.
사실 그것 외에 좋은점이 없어요.
시내갈때도 택시타고 가야하고 왠만한 투어나 마사지샵에사도 공항샌딩 서비스가 있어서 굳이 싼 가격에 이 곳으로 오신다면 비추입니다. 스위트룸을 잡았는데 이불도 눅눅하고 호스텔보다도 환경이 별로에요.
수건은 두개밖에 안주고 실내슬리퍼는 고사하고 샤워가운도 없습니다.
휴지 여분도 없어서 부족하면 일일이 카운터에 말해야하고 칫솔도 없어요.. 개인용 칫솔 가지고와서 다행.. 호스텔 수준이라 보시면되는데 여행첫날 이곳보다 더 좋은 호스텔에 묵어서 더 실망입니다.
그리고 1층 로비에서 케리어 샌딩도 안해주시는데 케리어카는 왜있는지도 모르겠음..
주위에 걸어서 갈수있는 편의시설도 없습니다.

가격대비에 딱맞는 호텔이고 침구가 파운데이션 얼룩에 묻어 있었고 머리카락도 나왔는데 숙박 저렴하게 가실꺼면 아님 하루 잠만주무시길 원하시면 추천해드립니다 참고오 루프탑 수영장은 동네 목요탕 수준이고 앞에 공사하는건물에 있어 뷰는 별로지만 가깝게 선셋 보실꺼면 조용하게 옥상에서 보는것도 좋습니다 ~~

직원들 매우매우매우 친절해요. 엄청 친절해요. 로비 쇼파가 너무 더러워요 ㅠㅠ 근데 방은 나름 꺠끗하고 넓어요 주위에 조금 냄새나는 강이 흘러서 산책나오면 냄새가 나요 ㅠㅠ 그래도 편의점도 가깝고 탄중아루도 가까워요. 와이파이 엄청 빨라요

다 만족해요

밤 늦은 시간에 도착한거지만 직원들이 24시간 상주하고 있어서 체크인 하는데 불편한 점은 없었고, 방도 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 직원분들도 영어 쓰셔서 소통하는데도 큰 문제 없고, 완전 만족 합니다.

以這個價錢CP值算高，房間跟浴室都很大，距離市區大約15~25分鐘的車程，同行有4人左右的話，叫GRAP很便宜，單趟大概10元馬幣。飯店離丹絨海邊有距離，大概20分鍾的腳程

방2개짜리 묵었는데 매우좋음. 주변에 아무것도없는게 흠이지만 그거빼곤 다좋아요. 각각 방에 딸린 화장실도 넓고 좋아요.

Trevligt hotell med pool på taket en bit från stan, men med Grab är nog det mesta nära. Tyvärr dålig frukost och inga bra alternativ nära.

깨끗하고 수영장도 좋고 친절했습니다.

깨끗하고 친절햇으며 가장 좋았던 점은 탄중아루 해변과 걸어서 10분정도 걸린다는 점이었습니다. 옥상의 수영장은 충분히 넓었으며 뷰도 매우 좋았습니다. 다만 옆에 새로 공사중인 건물이있어서 약간의 경치가 방해되었습니다.

FInt ophold på fint hotel. Nær beliggenhed til stranden, dog ikke meget mere end det. Nogle lokale resturanter i gåafstand, ellers bliver man nødt til at leje en bil/ tage taxa.
Poolen er mindre end det ser ud på billede, men ellers lækker

딱 가격만큼 하는 서비스

위치나 가격, 시설은 그리 나쁘지 않으나 호텔키가 휴대폰과 닿으면.. 작동하지 않아 매일 호텔에 들어갈 때마다 프론트에 들려야 했고 수건을 샤워타월 한 장만 제공하여 수영장에 갔다오면 썼던 수건을 다시 써야 해서 정말 불편했습니다 위치는 시내와 조금 멀지만 바로 옆에 맛있는 중식당도 있고 걸어서 써니마켓에 갈 수 있어 좋았습니다

선셋 뷰가 그렇게까지 아름답진 않았고 심지어 딱 선셋 뷰에 공사 크레인 있어서 ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 그거 빼곤 다 좋았음다

6명이서 6인실 썻는데 옥탑 수영장에서 보는 선셋이 환상적이구요... 방도 넓고 편해요ㅎㅎㅎ 매일 방도 정리해주셔서 편하고 유리잔 깻는데도 정리 깔끔하게 친절하게 해주셔서 완전 좋았습니다ㅎㅎㅎ 위치가 좀 동떨어져 있지만 교통은 그냥 우버 택시 부르면 얼마 안하고 편하게 다닐 수 있습니당ㅎㅎㅎ 새벽 3시에도 우버택시 탈 수 있고요ㅎㅎ
