Fantastic location, right next to the Pantheon with plenty of restaurants nearby. In fact there is a lovely taverna right opposite the front door. The whole set up is a bit more like an Airbnb than a hotel although there are lovely staff available 24 hours on WhatsApp and there from 7.30 to 2.30. I would 100% stay there again if I return to Rome and would have no hesitation in recommending it

The staff was very communicative once we got access to the room but the check in process was quite complicated. There weren’t any information about the check in process other than the check in time on hotels.com which was incorrect. It was also slightly confusing cause Dimora is under the same building/ownership as the pantheon hotel. Highly recommend downloading WhatsApp and getting in contact with the hotel before your trip to go over the check in process.

Overall the hotel was clean and amenities were provided but the shower water was a bit weak and it kept getting onto the bathroom floors. It is in a great location, right next to the pantheon. And the staff was really nice and helped us order a taxi back to the airport.

We had a perfect stay at this small hotel. We were greeted at the entrance, assisted with our luggage and felt immediately grateful we had booked at Dimora degli Dei. The building is older (newer by Rome standards), well-built and secure. We were close to the Pantheon and much activity but you wouldn't know it. Our room was quiet and the bed comfy. It was very clean as well. The young lady that checked us in and also helped us check out was fantastic. She was friendly and helpful but I didn't write down her name:( There is a coffee/pastry shop just a stone's throw away that we frequented.

The best thing about this property is its location. It was just a few steps away from the pantheon and the Piazza. Two restaurants and a gelato shop just steps away.
First of all there wasn’t any sign outside to indicate that it was a hotel. Our driver knew where it was, if not we never would have found it.The hotel itself was not accessible for guests with walking issues. There were several flights of stairs, and the unit we were first in had a step up into the bathroom which my husband missed and fell, just missing hitting his head on the sink or toilet. The next morning we changed rooms to one without and steps. The hotel had a tiny elevator, but it opened up on to the middle of a staircase.
I would only recommend this hotel for those who are young and able to handle all the obstacles in the way of getting into the hotel. The reception desk was only manned between 8am-2 pm. Outside of those hours, you were on your own.

One night in Rome

The Dimora degli Dei was an adorable guest house (not a hotel by American standards) a few feet from the Panthenon square. The rooms were clean and efficient and quiet! The entry to building was a little off putting but once we entered the floor it was very nice. Beautiful doors : )
The bed was comfortable and loved vintage style decorations. There were no overnight staff in the place - but had quick response via text...Unfortunately we were only there one night but would have liked to stay longer. Would stay again - thank you!

This is an amazing property on the second floor of a private building with multiple units available for guest. The staff is highly responsive and takes a proactive attitude toward making things just right. The property is literally a two minute walk at the most to the columns of the Parthenon, absolutely amazing location with countless restaurants and shops to Peru.

It was an absolute nightmare. Upon check in, person from hotel took me alone to see our room (there was no place to safely keep our luggage my husband had to stay with it)to some annex building , about quater to galf kilometer away , building is terribly smells, no elevator as was advertised, and that pearson told me to go back and he disappeared, i couldn't axit that building because you have to know how to do it, otherwise its locked. I was there alone, in the terrible smelly building, no phone connection and my husband didn't have address where i was. I was screaming and panicking and was about to jump off the 2nd floor window, but that pearson suddenly appears and put attitude toward me, why i am still there(((after that i wake next morning in shock and panic and was afraid to go to the outside, my vacation was over. so , if you can avoid those accommodations, please do. You will also avoid harrasment. And i tried to contact Hotels.com for help and they told me to go ahead and commit suicide since i was in chock when i was called them. I move on and booked another hotel and lost my $, since there was no customer support or service from the hotels.com , i am also holding a golden membership with hotels.com and was a very loyal member for very long time, but believe its a time to change that , unfortunately. I will try to attach a photo where i was locked.

The staff was great, communicated via whats app for an early check in which went smooth. The apt was great and surprisingly quiet once the windows were closed. Extremely convenient location.

Main complaint however was the bed sheet cover was visibly dirty which no guest should face. The apt in general needs a thourough cleaning and dusting, maybe some touch up paint. A shame, otherwise our stay was nearly perfect.

Great little hotel. Staff was great, everything was clean and the room was comfortable. Only downfall was the shower. The smallest shower I have ever been in. Hard to manoeuvre and no where to put toiletries. The door didn’t completely seal either so the floor was always soaked after a shower. Also items such as breakfast items were not always restocked. Out of four days, the items were only stocked for two. Otherwise a very nice hotel.

Property it’s just okay. It’s old and wasn’t very cleaned. Couch were not vacuumed. In the bathroom there were silver fish and the shower has mold. Kitchen wasn’t very cleaned either and there was a sewers odor usually at night. However, the location was excellent. Staff were super friendly and very helpful.

Great location. Other than that it was below average and way too expensive for what's offered. I rate it a 5 out of 10 overall.
No services at all, inconvenient elevator that doesn't actually stop on nay floor, but on stairs between floors, inconsistent room amenity replacement; mold around tub in bathroom, no hot water in the morning (which they eventually did something about after we complained.) no breakfast on site, and you have to walk over 1km to get to the breakfast place; the a/c blows behind the heavy window curtains and is totally ineffective unless you leave the curtains open. I do NOT recommend this hotel. If the price was 150 Euros, it would be a decent value, but its very basic. Their affiliated hotel, the Residenza Argentina, where the breakfast is served, is much nicer.

They’ve made great efforts to make the rooms full of little luxuries including snacks, large soft plushy towels, lots of personal amenities and quality bedding. Great restaurants all around and right next to Pantheon. Walk to trevi fountain. Check-in can be challenging. Be sure to call when you are on your way and use correct doorbell! But worth the effort and patience. We’d definitely stay here again!!

Great place to stay. They arranged for a car to pick us at the airport at 8 pm when we arrived the hotel staff was waiting and helped carry our bags up the stairs. Its a great central location you can walk to all the major sites furthest was maybe 1.75 miles. Seeing the Pantheon everyday was awesome you could just hangout on the fountain steps. This place is very busy so it's loud with a lot of city noise but i suspect most places are like this. It was clean with a good amount of room. It had a dinning table 3 couches one turned into a bed and 2 tv. The kitchen had snacks, tea , and espresso pods. Nice large bathroom as well as the master bedroom. The beds were pretty hard but that didnt bother me as much as the family. There was a couple really good restaurants right outside our door. A sandwich shop was amazing also had a good coffee and Gelato shop right around the corner. We only had 1 bad restaurant in the area. If you are looking for a central location to all things Rome this is it.

Be careful about this B&B.

Arrived at 430pm. We rang bell no answer. We waited till 5 pm and another couple came out and we explained our problem with checking in. They had same issue. They took us upstairs and called someone at another hotel to help us. It turns out check in is only till 3 pm not 9 pm as it says on website. They put up a post it the next day with a phone number to call if you were coming in after 3 pm. The photos of the room are very deceiving. I was told all the photos and information about the B&B are from 10 years ago. All information about the hotel is wrong. Hotels.com should have the hotels they list correct everything on the website. I was made to feel that I was in the wrong for coming to check in at 430. Location is great but I would never stay there again.

We stayed here for a week and it was great!
A short walk to all the major sites and only a few seconds from the Pantheon.
Many choices of food including a great restaurant right when you walk out the door.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. It was also very quiet throughout the night.
The service alone was arguably the best service we’ve every had. The lady checking us in went above and beyond and helped us out with everything. She was always there to help with any questions we had.
You cannot go wrong with staying here, I HIGHLY recommend it.

Great experience, but the B&B was hard to find and we had to go to a different B&B on another floor to have them call someone to check us in. Other than the initial check-in experience, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. The hotel is located next to the Pantheon and is within walking distance to Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Coliseum and Forum. We had to take a taxi to the Vatican which was 10 Euros each way.

The rooms are not as photographed. They are much more run down, our shower didn't drain and we were up to our ankles in water when we showered. There was black hair all over our sheets when we arrived. And someone walked into our room at 9am one morning without knocking. It's really not a hotel, more of an apartment situation with a desk that has limited staffing. We had a very hard time finding it and when we did we couldn't get into the building because the front door was broken.

We loved being so close to the Pantheon and were able to walk around the city to see sites and find great restaurants. We booked early morning tours and had no problem getting a cab right next to the Pantheon. The room was super quiet. Entry after hours was no problem and we felt safe and secure. Only one built in luggage rack so we had to keep suitcases on the floor, but the wardrobe was large enough to unpack everything. Roundtrip hotel airport service was easy and timely. My friends booked the apartment unit which turned out to be a couple of blocks away from the main hotel but an easy walk back and forth. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend and stay here again.

This place was just what we needed! We'd stayed in another neighborhood at the beginning of a 2 1/2 week trip, and closed out our time in Italy here. The location was perfect--just steps away from the Pantheon, and the surrounding neighborhood was comparatively low-key and pedestrian friendly with lots of wonderful piazzas and restaurants to explore. Very communicative and helpful staff, both leading up to and during our stay. From our in-room breakfast to booking us a shuttle to our flight out, they made sure we were taken care of! Would definitely stay here again and recommend this spot to friends.

I loved the discreet location. The check in process was wonderfully handled by Ron, who went out of his way to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable. His colleagues Kristin and Sheila were also both amazing and very helpful and attentive to all my needs.
The room I got had incredible high ceilings with beautiful detailing. The bed was super comfy; the breakfast was lovely and just right. Great coffee served at breakfast but you also had a nespresso machine for that afternoon pick-me-Up, as well as locally made sweets in the room and the reception desk.
If I were to nitpick, I would have wished for slippers because the floor is concrete and cold. Luckily I was able to buy a pair of flip-flops from the havaianas store on via del corso.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. 5 stars for me.

The hotel is next to the Pantheon so that is great. The staff was very good and the room was clean. The only downside was the drain in the shower didn't drain properly and would overflow into the bathroom. We reported it but it wasn't fixed. If you get a room with a good shower, this would be an excellent place to stay.

PROS: location is great, next to Pantheon, walkable to so much else. Cute rooms with modern facilities (the bathroom was very nice). The room was spacious and comfortable. In room safe box, fridge and coffee maker. The staff was super friendly and helpful with our requests. For example, we departed very early so they left us some breakfast foods the prior day so that we could eat before our departure. Hotel feels very safe.

CONS: reception is not 24 hrs so there is no onsite help during the early or later hours. Staffing is short - the person at reception is also the housekeeper. Although breakfast is delivered to our rooms, it is from offsite kitchens so it must be ordered the day before, it’s a basic continental offering and will arrive to your after 8:00am. We prefer a central dining room to select foods (including lots of protein choices) and eating well before 8:00 so we can be in our way before 8. Hotel is on a tiny street - have to walk about 5-8 minutes away to catch an early morning taxi. The elevator is extremely tiny (1 person 1 large suitcase); you enter it a few steps up the staircase. Potentially dangerous if you loose balance while trying to maneuver a large suitcase into the tiny door from a single stair step.
SUMMARY: we’ve stayed in other hotels of similar price with all the same “pros” and none of these “cons”. Therefore we would not recommend this hotel to our friends.

Very nice hotel. It is really more of an apartment. Had bedroom and seperate living room and kitchen with full size refrigerator, oven/range, etc. outstanding location 1 minute walk from the Panthenon. We could always find our way back to apartment due to close proximity to the Panthenon. Our apartment was up three flights of stairs with no elevator. Chief complaint was the noise. Our room overlooked a very busy Piazza with several restaurants. There was tourist noise until late and then cleanup early in the morning.

Unfortunately we weren't advised that the apartment was in a different building to the advised address and although only 5 min walk it overlooked a busy square which came alive at 6 in the morning with delivery trucks etc so don't expect a lie in. The apartment was a good size and had all the kitchen amenities however the electric tripped on a regular basis. As a suggestion if the windows were double glazed to block out the noise late at night and early morning.

Perfect location

This place is perfectly located to venture through Rome. The room has everything you need and staff were really really friendly.

All in all really enjoyed staying in this place.

Tip: don't be silly like us and not advise what time you're arriving or you'll end up like us having to ask the restaurant across the road to borrow their phone. We called and the staff raced back to the accommodation in a matter of minutes to let us in.

Hidden gem in a fantastic location

Such a hidden gem - lovely boutique hotel situated just steps away from the pantheon which is just central to all the attractions in Rome. Ron the staff was so polite, helpful and friendly. The room we stayed is the family room and is spacious with comfy bed, the hotel and the room is well maintained and very clean. Great to also have an air con in the room as we went in Aug so super hot! Complimentary breakfast was such a delight and also of good quality. We would certainly stay here again.

Nice boutique hotel accessible to everything

The hotel was lovely, and the staff were kind and helpful. They stayed late when our flight was delayed. The price of the room included a lovely breakfast each morning. Most of the major sites were easily accessible from the hotel.

With a couple of minor tweaks this would be a five star stay. First, the wifi kept failing. Not the staff's fault, though when asked about it they just shrugged. As far as I could tell no effort was made to fix the problem, and for me wifi is essential when traveling internationally.

Also the shower didn't drain properly, causing it to fill to almost overflowing each time anyone showered.

But for those two issues, both of which are simple fixes, this would have been a 5-star review. Overall this hotel was a lovely experience.

Location was amazing, just next to Pantheon. Staff were also very helpful and responsive. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was no views to speak of. But we were in Rome so we were outside a lot anyway!

Quiet and close to everything

The hotel was fantastic. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It is right next to the Pantheon but on a quiet alley and convenient walk to shopping, restaurants and sight seeing. I will definitely stay here again!

Very busy tourist area, no amenities

We got what we were looking for in that we could walk to a lot and we didn’t pay top dollar. But you get what you pay for. This is a converted old home with only 6 rooms. We had to beg our taxi driver not to leave because we couldn’t believe this was a hotel. There is no signage outside indicating you are at the hotel. There are zero amenities and not even an elevator. You have to be careful stepping out of the front door that you don’t get hit by a car. No exaggeration. The staff had an attitude. The front desk is only staffed from 7 am to 9:30 pm. The staff insisted on us checking out the night before we were scheduled to leave and called us while we where out to dinner to ask us to come back so they could leave for the night.

Near Pantheon and Piazza Navona

Perfect location! Just steps from the Pantheon and only a few minutes walk to Trevi Fountain, amazing restaurants, outstanding fresh gelato at Il Gelato di San Crespini, and only a 25min walk to the Colosseum! The staff were the friendliest people Ive ever spoken to and the key card access was so easy! I was also amazed at the large room considering most European hotel rooms are teeny tiny. And this was so clean too! I really wish we could have stayed longer! I think I will be returning!

Recommend staying here

Great location -- right adjacent to the Pantheon, which is very centrally located to other Rome hot spots. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and there was ample space for our luggage & gear.
It was a bit hard to find given that there's no signage, and the street numbers are not sequential.
The shower is tiny and the bathroom has nothing to put your toiletries on. The wifi was *very* spotty.
Still, overall I'd strongly recommend staying here.

Great location and comfy beds

Our stay was good! Staff is friendly and hotel is in a great location. However, their daily maintenance failed to check on toiletries. They did offer us in room breakfast but a note that it is very basic with coffee, juice and 2 croissants. However, one can take that to their advantage and eat lunch at some great local caffes or restaurants. The hotel works out well if you are in Rome to visit all the attractions as you will be out almost 80% of the day. But if you are here for leisure then you may be disappointed as this is not a spa grade hotel. Overall the stay was good and we enjoyed it!

Love this hotel...it's steps away from the Pantheon, great restaurants, and walkable to all major attractions. The hotel is within a bigger building. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was a great start to the day. It's very safe feeling, and we wished we could have stayed longer!

Amazing!!!

The location is unbelievable. You are literally a few steps from the Pantheon. The lady at the front desk, I think her name was Shenna, was very nice and accommodating. She arranged for us to have a free breakfast brought to our room each day. We stayed in a triple room because there were three of us, and it was very large and extremely clean. The bathroom was updated and very modern. We would definitely stay here again! There is no sign for the hotel and you must buzz in near a large wooden door. The hotel is on the 2nd floor so expect some stairs. There was a tiny lift but we chose not to use it.

This was a cosy, comfortable hotel. The employees are attentive to details. We felt immediately welcomed and comfortable. Clean room with many luxurious extras. We did not want to leave. Could not recommend this hotel more. We will be back!

Fab location!

Hotel is a stone's throw from the Pantheon and within walking distance of most of Rome's attractions. The hotel is clean, comfortable and warm (in February).
Asit is such a small hotel with no dining room breakfast is served in your room, enabling you to hit the ground running and make the most of Rome.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
A great hotel that made our trip very enjoyable.
