We found the property exceeded our expectations. New very clean great staff excellent parking excellent access to bus and the city center.

Under construction.. our room was new and nice but there was a step ladder in the shower when we arrived. Not super friendly at check in. Housekeeping missed replacing toilet paper , leaving any Kleenex, replacing dirty glasses, no wash clothes, had to ask for spare toilet paper as they were very small rolls.the shower was great but took at least 5 minutes to get warm water. the restaurant was again under construction which was fine great ocean view, very slow service for food and drinks. Very noisy location, can walk to things. Looks like it will be very nice once finished next year, need to work on staffing to meet the demand of the hotel. 3/5 stars

The hotel is like a trip back to the 80s. All the deco is from that decade, but the rooms are clean and cozy.
Since there wasn’t high speed internet on the 80s, the same logic applies to the hotel. The internet is worse than the old 80s dial-up.

It was just fopr one night but nice view from room and service very nice. Breakfast was OK but not included which hotels was a ;little vague on. Great location to see the town.

The building was old and run down. Not to usual Mercure standards.

Hotel on the sea front and lovely swimming pool and great view from the back. Air conditioning in the hotel kept you cool from the hot temperatures so you won’t feel uncomfortable. Breakfast is very good, lovely buffet and lots to choose from. Restaurant in hotel has a good menu with variety of choices. Enjoyed my stay.

Old and I wouldn't recommend staying there

Very old feeling to the hotel. Old decor, very old bathrooms in bad condition.
The pool suround looks very dirty and the pool itself is basically in a car park. The bathrooms have very small shower cubicles and the slow low heat hairdryers that some hotels still have! The bed was comfy, there is a balcony. Low strength Wi-Fi. Breakfast is low quality with hardly any choice.

Hotel is ok but not great. Carpets in hallways are faded and need replacing. Breakfast is simple. Sea view is great. Hotel feels a little dated and tired and needs an update.

Have nothing to complain, all are good or better than expect.
Free bottled water, nice hotel staff, good wifi connection, cleanliness room and bathroom and proving good food and drink in restaurant.
The TV channel are as usual... almost are all italy channels

Worked for me.

For a quick overnight stay on a road trip it was fine. The neighborhood at night felt a bit sketchy but in the light of day, it was OK. It's on an industrial-ish waterfront but there is a pool that I didn't stay long enough to use. The breakfast was as expected and decent. The room had a bit of a view. Can't help thinking that an Italian, no-name place would have more charm but I needed a front-desk that was open late.

Pleasant hotel 10 mins from old town.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant and breakfast buffet. Had an issue with the swimming pool not open but other than that a reasonable base to explore the area.

We knew very little about the area but were surprised at the lack of upkeep. the hotel itself was very comfortable with the exception of the unsightly pool and weedy car park. the staff were very pleasant and helpful with the exception of one who referred us to the local cafe after we arrived tired ( and soaked after a downpour) because the bar was closed (4pm!) dinner was excellent both in food and service.

Overall a nice property that suited my business needs. Room was rather small but very clean. Bed was comfortable, firm but not a slab. Only downside noticed was the intermittent wifi service, was up and running on my departure date though. Breakfast buffet service was a nice way to start the day but note that it is not included in all rates. No worries about staying here, will do so again if in the area. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Nell'ambito di un soggiorno eccellente (aggiungo anche la disponibilità di biciclette in noleggio gratuito entro le 4 ore), rilevo piccoli dettagli meno positivi: la presenza di un solo ascensore (l'altro essendo guasto) che costringe a lunghi tempi d'attesa. Oltre tutto, l'ascensore dà informazioni solo in inglese, e con una pronuncia discutibile. In camera, il frigorifero ha una capienza minima (se ho voluto inserire bottiglie mie, ho dovuto toglierne di quelle in dotazione). Molto difficoltosa la sintonizzazione del televisore, che alla fine non mi è riuscita del tutto malgrado le istruzioni ricevute.

La stanza doppia STANDARD assegnatami purtroppo NON era adeguata per due persone e comunque NON degna di un 4 stelle prestigioso in quanto molto piccola, angusta e con comfort scadente.
La reception NON ha tenuto conto del fatto che ero in comitiva con un gruppo di alto livello e che, anche se avevo prenotato con HOTELS.com, avrei potuto tranquillamente onorare un upgrading.
A HOTELS.com devo segnalare che sono un cliente GOLD ma che un cambio di account con altra indirizzo mail mi ha fatto perdere il livello GOLD e non solo, ma anche una notte bonus che avevo guadagnato in precedenza e che è scomparsa e che l'assistente virtuale interpellato NON ha più riconosciuto (pratica n. 7138255)

Le grand point faible de ce lieu et qui n'est pas mentionné sur le site lors de la réservation c'est la baignade qui est inerdite dans la mer à cote de l'hôtel car présence de la marine à quelques mètres. Il fallait être très vigilants en traversant principalement dans le quartier près de l'hôtel, la 1er plage est 25 min en voiture et 1h en transport donc c'était pas pratique

Bom hotel, ganhamos um quarto com vista mar. As instalações e moveis do quarto são um pouco antigas mas tudo funcionou bem. O hotel tem vagas proprias gratuitas para estacionar, porém depende de disponibilidade. Não é garantida. Fomos à pé até o centro histórico, caminhada de 30 minutos. Café da manhã bom. Jantamos no restaurante do hotel, comida boa, nada de mais,
Mas porções pequenas. De modo geral, foi uma boa estadia.

Ho visto le recensioni di quest hotel e devo dire che è vero che le camere necessitano di una ristrutturazione sopratutto per la parte del bagno ma comunque sono pulitissime e confortevoli.Poi aprire la finestra e sentire il suono del mare sinceramente non ha prezzo.Una vista dalla stanza del golfo di Tranato bellissima con a corredo uno splendido tramonto.Ci riteniamo soddisfatti del soggiorno e sicuramente ci ritorneremo.Staf dalla reception alla sala colazione gentilissimo

Non più una buona scelta a Taranto

Già stato spesso in questa struttura, di anno in anno non vedo investimenti anzi solo peggioramenti (ascensori, stanze, ecc) quest'ultima volta la piscina era coperta, rendendo inutile aver prenotato in questa struttura.
Ristorante sempre fermo a fare cucina ricercata/raffinata che risulta solo complicata e costosa.

Alcune cose da migliorare

All'arrivo in struttura, purtroppo, la camera che mi veniva data non aveva le stesse caratteristiche di quella che avevo prenotato su Hotels e nel chiedere chiarimenti al personale, gentilissimo, dell'hotel scopro mio malgrado che i servizi menzionati sulla scheda del sito non erano presenti in nessuna sistemazione dell'hotel e di conseguenza non avrebbero mai potuto fornirmi una camera di quel tipo: non ho ben capito a chi attribuire tale equivoco (struttura o Hotels) ma la cifra spesa non valeva di certo quella sistemazione.
Detto questo, la struttura è un pò datata ma confortevole, il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, il ristorante al piano inferiore è un pò caro ma molto buono e la colazione (probabilmente anche a causa delle normative Covid) lascia un pò a desiderare.

Struttura vecchia, impianto eletrico in camera inadeguato: spegnendo la luce ingresso si toglie corrente alle prese e al mattino computer e telefono sono scarichi. Colazione pessima e prodotti di pessimo livello.

Ett hyggligt konferenshotell med vänlig och trevlig personal. Dock kan det bli bättre med ett wifi som fungerar, med några parasoll kring poolen så det går att vistas där och nog förväntar man sig av ett så här stort hotell att de ska kunna serva gästerna med en karta över centrum.

Prima hotel op een goede locatie.

Hotel ligt aan zee, uitzicht hierop is fijn. Hotel ligt centraal gelegen om de omliggende omgeving te bezoeken. De stad Taranto zelf is gezellig en mooi, zeker een bezoek waard. Gezellige boulevard langs de zee. Zwembad bij het hotel is lekker. Kamer was basic maar voldoende. Ontbijt niet uitgebreid maar voldoet. Prima hotel op een goede Locatie!

Hotel nahe der Altstadt

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel der accor-Kette (besonders im Vergleich mit dem Mercure in Bari, das auch 4* hat). Über die Promenade, die kurz nach dem Hotel beginnt, kann man zu Fuss in die alte Stadt (auf einer Insel) gehen. Frühstücksbuffet ist ok, Kaffee sollte man beim Kellner bestellen und nicht aus dem Automaten nehmen. Zimmer sauber, leise, wir hatten wunderschönen Blick vom Balkon unseres Zimmers im 4. Stock aufs Meer. Gratis Parkplatz direkt ums Hotel.

Non è come immaginavo,credevo 4 stelle!

Hotel tutto fumo e poco arrosto.
Camera non conforme alle immagini .
Manca cassaforte e frigo vuoto , ermostato non funzionante camera praticamente forno crematorio ho dormito con balcone aperto ed essendo infissi senza tapparelle ho avuto il disagio del palazzo di fronte che aveva finestre aperte con visuale ottimale sull’interno della camera da me occupata.
Personale poco professionale e comunque scostante e poco propenso a risolvere le evidenti criticita’.
Colazione appena sufficiente, mentre sembra degno di nota che tutto l’interno avrebbe bisogno di deodoranti .
