Bed Bugs, No elevator, filthy, bathroom sink clogged up. When we showed them our bed bug bites they could care less. Said bed bugs were in every hotel. Stay away from this hotel! Would not adjust our bill Aldo very noisy!

The guy at the check in counter was so rude. To the point of talking down to myself and others we were with. The breakfast was decent. The shower had no water pressure. The area is close to plaka which is good for eating. I wont be staying here again.

Great location- walking distance to the Acropolis, PLAKA, shops, cafes etc.
Breakfast was good…. CHRISTOS at the front desk was very helpful. He helped us with our luggage and gave us tips on places to eat that were close by. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

I had a nice stay for one night. My only issue was that there were noisy people in the hallway very early in the morning that woke me up, but sometimes this is life. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was very nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

Our experience at this hotel was one of the worst we’ve ever had. The room was in poor condition: the bathroom mirror was cracked, the shower door didn’t work and had visible buildup, and there were disgusting yellow stains behind the sink. The overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired, and the entire place smelled like a mix of old furniture and bleach.
What made things even worse was the unwelcoming attitude at reception. I don’t know the name of the woman who was there during the day (she seemed to speak Russian), but she was consistently cold and unfriendly. When I asked for an iron, she just asked my room number with a look of annoyance. Later, when I returned because the iron didn’t work, she silently took it, got a new one from the storage behind her, and handed it to me without saying a single word. No apology, no basic courtesy. Just more attitude.
We’ve never felt more unwelcome at a hotel.

The hotel staff were welcoming and there was a decent free breakfast. However the facilities are very old, which was expected for the cost of the rooms. The main problem was that we had bed bugs in both rooms (we were moved once we notified the receptionist). The location is good for the price also.

Hotel más parecido a Residencial con buena ubicación. Mobiliario antiguo, sin ascensor. Estaba incluido el desayuno pero al llegar nos informan que tenían la cocina sin funcionar y que debíamos ir a otro Hotel de la cadena, situación muy incomoda sobretodo al viajar con adultos mayores. Si decidíamos no ir nos descontaban 5 euros por persona, lo que es muy poco considerando el valor cobrado por desayuno. El baño era incomodísimo, apenas cabe una persona en la ducha. Es un hotel 2 estrellas como mucho.

My 1st ever trip and stay in Athens and I wanted a great location, you can easily walk to everything significant. The Hotel is clean and comfortable and you will not feel the cold in the room, I stayed in room #10, which was also very convenient for the volume of luggage we had. The room was a good size, we did not feel squashed, the bathroom was clean and modern and had all the amenities we required, including excellent hot water. The bed linen was also quite soft and luxuriously white and the cover and coverlets on the quilts were soft to the touch and to sleep with. There were also 3-4 pillows available for each of our twin beds. Breakfast was minimal, some continental and hot dishes, but enough to satisfy, with fresh juices and selections of coffee and tea. Finally, the room rate is fantastic! Enjoyed our stay.

The room we booked wasn’t the room we got. We asked for a family suite and got a queen bed and 2 roll out cots. Room was way over priced for what we got. The man at the desk was rude and was on his phone she whole check in. We we’re so disappointed we walked in our room and walked out. We contacted orbitz and they said they would take care of the situation and call us back. We never heard back from them. I’ve never had a issue with orbitz and I don’t fully blame them. But if I have to eat $630 and I’m a longtime and loyal customer…I won’t be using them again for future trips. The whole situation has been unprofessional.

The nam suggest it is very close to the Acropolis museum, it is not. It is on Syngrou Avenue an extremely busy road. The hotel needs a complete makeover and upgrade.

This is an excellent friendly hotel. It is very close (5 min walk) to great views of the Acropolis and all the historic attractions. My room was very clean and tidy and quiet - slept well. The staff were great and even though I had to leave at 5.30AM they made me a great breakfast. This is truly service with a smile and I would definitely return one day.

This is an amazing property. We can for our anniversary. It is in a great location. The breakfast was wonderful. But the best part was the service. The front desk arranged a special dinner at a roof garden restaurant for our anniversary. They also arranged an amazing excursion to Delphi. And don't forget the complimentary smart phone you can use for GPS. Don't be distracted by hotels with elevators. Stay here!

Good location - walking distance to all central sites of Athens - at a great price. The hotel is nicely decorated. Good breakfast. I was assigned a suite on the top floor and the price I paid was great. On the negative side, the shower was not working properly. I could barely finish rinsing every morning. On the last day the water quit altogether and I had to get out of the bathtub and use water from the sink to finish rinsing. Furthermore, I stayed for three nights and no one came to freshen up my room, although I put the sign \"please make room\" on the handle of my door.

No real amenities but given its location that was okay. Close to two metro stops and key historical attractions. Hotel and staff were all pleasant and efficient. Elevator is small so prepare to get your steps in with your luggage if you done want to wait. Only “bad” aspect is that it seems to be in an area with several red light district attractions. If you’re traveling with kids you might not want to stay here if you haven’t explained the birds and the bees yet.

Very good location near Hadrians Gate and Plaka. We were put into one of the modern rooms on their 4th floor. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff very friendly and helpful and provided easy assistance for booking our return taxi to the airport. Breakfast was great.

First, I'd like to say that I am a front desk supervisor and associate. I booked this hotel based on location, rating, and price. The only good things I can say about it is that it does have a great location, it was clean, and the air conditioning worked. Our room had virtually no outlets, the television was extremely outdated and barely worked (if you are technologically inept you would find it difficult to have a clear picture and/or have sound), the WiFi hardly worked, and there wasn't much storage. The service was only good when we checked in. Our entire stay, the housekeepers would stand around and just stare at us, which made my mother and I very uncomfortable. There was also an issue our second day. We were awoken at 9 am to extremely loud hammering on the wall in the room next to us. Enraged and exhausted, we picked up the phone to call the front desk (in which there also was no signage to even tell us what number to dial to reach the front desk), and alas, the phone did not work- no dial tone. I had to use my personal cell phone to call. We spoke to the front desk associate, and he agreed to tell the man to stop. 15 minutes later, no change. Still hammering. We called again- still no change. We had to physically leave the room and complain to get action. He moved us rooms which was nice, but the entire time after he was very condescending to us saying \"Have a nice rest\". Again, as someone who works the front desk, the service was extremely unacceptable.

I am so happy that I stayed at this lovely hotel. It was perfectly located near Metro, bus, and easy walking to the sites . I had a great room facing the court yard that was very quiet. This is important because often when booking a 'single' you get the crappy rooms. My room was wonderful and sparkled clean everyday when I returned from sightseeing. The AC was nice and cold! The breakfast was excellent with cold, hot, sweet and savory options. On top of all this the staff was so awesome!! My trip was spur of the moment and I did not have alot planned. They helped with everything; schedules , ferries, tickets, restaurants. I had a few problems of my own making and they went above and beyond to help me get things sorted. I would recommend this excellent family hotel most highly!

Amazing experience in an amazing hotel

This is a lovely \"antique\" or boutique themed hotel and it is GREAT. I highly recommend it if you're seeking a quiet, respectable environment, yet at the same time, a 5 minute walking distance to the plaka, 10 minute walk to the Acropolis museum and to the metro station.
I like the fact that there aren't too many guests (I was told that there are only 23 rooms), so the staff can easily tailor to your needs.
Specifically: the staff is extremely professional and helpful. Even though I didn't end up going there because my sunburn started to disappear within 24 hours, the staff understood my extreme worries and were efficient in providing directions to the best hospital in Athens that has dermatologists on site *and on a Sunday.*
Furthermore, I found my single bed room size too small for my first night; I mentioned this to the staff was it was kind enough to upgrade me to a double room free of charge. I appreciated this.
Just a piece of advice: if you have more than one child, I don't recommend booking at this hotel -- although I don't know of any restrictions, the clientele seems to be 95% solo travelers/ couples, and 5% families with one child at most.
Overall, excellent experience, a big 5 star :) !

We checked in quite late (around midnight) but had no problems. Billy was waiting for us outside when we arrived to check us in. He then gave us tips on where we could get some food and a drink at such a late hour. Breakfast was delicious. They also ordered us a taxi so that we could make our early flight without stress. The only complaint I had was that the internet didn't work. Otherwise it was a great stay.

The rooms at the front suffer from traffic noise unless the window is kept closed. We requested twin beds but were given a double bed, however this was rectified quickly by the staff. Although requesting one, we did not recieve a second quilt but as the weather inproved this was not a problem. The rooms were clean if not as spacious as I'd hoped and kept resupplied with shampoo etc. The free 24 tea/coffee in the breakfast area was very welcome. Staff were very helpful. Nice hotel close to the Acropolis and other major sights. Room was big and nicely furnished. It was a little noisy since it was facing a major street. Breakfast had a variety of continental items, but the hot items like the eggs were always cold snd looked like they had been sitting for quite awhile no matter what time we went down for breakfast. If you just want a simple hotel without any frills within walking distance of the Acropolis, this hotel is it.

The Hotel was centrally located with easy walking access to attractions in Athens. But that was the only positive thing about this entire reservation. From the moment I made the reservation to the time I checked out, experience has been very frustrating. First hotels.com failed to mention that this was a 1 person occupancy room. I called hotels.com within 15 mins of the reservation and the long hour I spent with customer services was a colossal waste of time. They ended up telling me that I had to contact the hotel manager to request a change and that hotels.com had no control on the reservation. And they refused to cancel the reservation. And now begins the real pain. I understand Europe and particularly countries like Greece don't have the same standards as us here, but the hotel manager took this opportunity to turn something so trivial into a scheme to force us into a way more expensive room. Long story short, we decided to cough up the extra money and pay for the \"only\" available room. But the agony did not end there. From the moment we walked into the hotel, to the time we checked out, they tried to nickel & dime us for every thing from breakfast to A/c (despite the reservation clearly stating that was already included in the reservation). There were a couple moments I had to let the manager have it. I would strongly recommend tourist avoid this place. The ratings on hotels.com are way overrated.

Hidden Gem!

Hotel is older but maintained well. They staff are awesome! They give you a local cell phone at check in that can be used for mapping and international calls. No restrictions! Room is clean, AC is cold, bed is super comfy! Perfect walking distance to everything you want to see in Athens!

The internet went down before my room could be closed, so, the manager at the Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel set me up in a totally different hotel and paid the taxi fare to get me there. I was very pleased with him taking care of it. I also was very pleased with the hotel they sent me to. The Acropolis Ami Boutique Hotel.

Great Choice!

Walking distance to Acropolis and Plaka. All restaurants and shops are nearby. Good breakfast and very friendly service. This is an older building restored and in good shape.
