No privacy had a hard time with the outlets to use the outlet next to the sink to be able to use a curling iron had to be able to be plugged underneath the sink cabinet no ballet no luggage service to the room you had to get the card and load your own luggage and take it downstairs and then the valet service was a separate charge from the hotel service at the valet OK

We really enjoyed our stay at The Rivet! The onsite restaurant was incredible and the staff were wonderful. The room was well appointed and the bed was so comfortable. If you’re a light sleeper request a room on the side of the hotel that is not next to the train tracks. Otherwise, I highly recommend it and would stay there again!

Beautiful hotel with a great restaurant and bar, and a spa. The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. The one thing we didn’t love was the bathroom setup in the room. While the shower wasn’t totally visible from the beds because of the location of the sink, the shower is in an open area with a clear glass door so if you are traveling with anyone other than your significant other, it can be awkward! Overall, a beautiful property though.

No pool. No hot tub. No exercise facility. No ice machines. I loved the rooms and hotel itself. Front desk staff was amazing. Very friendly and accommodating when we needed ice in our cups or any housekeeping. Probably the best valet service I’ve ever used… fast, friendly and $25 per night. My daughter and I paid over $200 each for premium massages. Mine was eh. Nothing special and maybe less than special. Their “Spa” faculty consists of several rooms, a sitting area for 2 and a small locker room. Not impressed at all. The room itself was awesome. If you’ve ever stayed in a 1 Hotel, it was comparable. Very natural esthetic with great top quality shampoos, etc. hotel is next to a railroad track, but honestly I don’t recall hearing the train much and I was there 5 nights. They provide earplugs in the rooms and a white noise machine which was awesome. The walls are not well insulated. We could almost hear actual conversation next door. Unfortunately we won’t be back since they didn’t have a pool or exercise facility. We didn’t eat at their restaurant.

The hotel itself was excellent, and our stay on the second floor was otherwise very enjoyable. However, the noise level from the room above us was quite disruptive. After driving more than four hours to arrive, I was hoping for a restful night’s sleep, especially since I needed to be up at 6:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the noise made that difficult, and I only managed to get around five hours of sleep.

Restaurant was booked with a lot of non hotel guests. We could not get a reservation. So we ate outside on patio. Food was very good and server was personal and knowledgeable but disappeared and then someone else picked up the service but was not good.

The property/building is beautiful but away from downtown Athens. We had been to the restaurant previously and were looking forward to a wonderful stay. With expectations admittedly high, our stay was underwhelming. Check in did not go smoothly. The staff were very slow snd it took about 20 minutes, even though we were the only ones checking in. The restaurant was closed between 2-5 pm and so there were no food options on property. The bar had no food and room service was somehow not available.
When we got into the rooms, they were beautiful with very high ceilings and large windows. But the phone did not work (we couldn’t reach the front desk or other guest rooms). The shower and vanity are not separated from the rest of the room which could be a privacy issue for some guests. The shower itself was very small. Some channels on the TV did not come in or were not in HD.
Cell service is very spotty throughout the property and we had trouble getting a signal/holding a call.
Overall, it is a beautiful property but we encountered some issues that made our stay a little disappointing.

We enjoyed being able to walk to the room after dinner at the restaurant, rather than driving home. The room is high end in its design and materials. We liked the high ceiling in the bedroom and the wall of windows. While I looked out, a coyote emerged from the wooded area and walked away on the railroad tracks. I have never seen a coyote outside of a zoo.
It wasn’t until we walked into our room at a typical American hotel this afternoon that we realized how much we like a spacious room, with the shower and sink in the bathroom. The square footage of the Rivet room is the minimum required to function.

The hotel is beautiful. It is a completely renovated textile mill. Whoever designed and decorated should win an award. Except for the bathroom. I know open concept is a thing, but the room we stayed in has the out in the open. There is no privacy. This would be a couples only hotel. Not when you are traveling with your family or friends. Our check-in person wasn't very friendly and we had a terrible experience sitting at the bar. I would like to note the evening staff at the check in counter was great, and we were offered a complementary meal from the head of hospitality to make up for the bar experience which was wonderful. Our server was kind and I appreciated that they wanted to make our experience a positive one after the bad bar service.

We stayed here because the resort looked beautiful and it was... the decor and style was amazing! Beautifully done. Unfortunately, I should have gotten the clue when we walked into the room and laying on the bedside was a white noise machine and ear plugs. Not only could we hear the trains - but we could hear our neighbors on either side fully!! Their convos and their music, they weren't loud there was just no sound barrier whatsoever in between the rooms. Until this is fixed I do not recommend this place. We were woken up both mornings super early by our neighbors - even though we were trying to sleep in. Not fun.

Lovely room but very cold on a winter day. I adjusted the thermostat but the room didn’t warm up. Also to park close, valet parking is mandated. Free parking is around the corner and a short walk. No instructions were given at check-in on how to keep the lights from auto turn off. Your card had to be in a slot to keep the on. This info should have have been given at check-in.

The hotel itself is beautiful. It’s in an old industrial warehouse. There’s not a lot around it and it certainly not walkable but we just stayed at the property for one night. Had a good meal in the restaurant and some very good cocktails in the lounge area. There is apparently a train that runs nearby and we were warned that it might wake us up, but we didn’t hear it at all.

Upon arrival and unpacking there were bugs on the window sill and crawling on the ceiling walls. Moved to a new room thankfully. However, for a newer hotel it was lacking in many areas! No storage space for clothing other than a small 2ft bar to hang items. No dresser or drawers in the room whatsoever. The rooms are open concept so you literally wash your hands at the sink that is a foot from the bed. The clothing bar is adjacent to the wet bar so your drinks and food are right beside your clothes. No closets!! The shower was a waterfall shower with absolutely no water pressure. The hotel literally is parallel to the train tracks so you hear the trains running constantly. There was only one staff member at the front desk so no service at all if she was occupied by someone else. Extremely disappointing design and layout for a NEW hotel.

This is a hidden gem in Athens! A beautiful space, with beautiful exterior architecture. The inside decor is thoughtfully put together, giving you an industrial yet chic classy vibe. The staff was extremely friendly and personable. Definitely a must stay! I wish we had more time to try the spa.

The rooms were well appointed and the beds were extremely comfortable. I also had dinner at the on-site restaurant which exceeded my expectations for both food quality and service.
