I just needed a place to crash on a roadtrip. The staff were very friendly both at check-in and check-out. The room had just what I needed- a bed, place to put my things, and a tidy bathroom. It was bare bones which is what you expect at a Motel 6. There was some staining on the walls and curtains and the traffic noise from the highway was louder than ideal but it wasn’t too bad. It felt safe and secure at night. I would stay at this property again.

Coffee in the lobby in the morning free of charge. Was good coffee! I highly recommend staying here at Motel 6 Lodi, CA. Price is reasonable, book online if you can for best prices.

there were tweakers in the room above me having a party for hours on end. running and stomping back and forth across across the floor repeatedly and rolling the ball for their dogs. I finally asked to change rooms after midnight because I got a glance at one of them chasing their dogs around outside the window of my room, half dressed and displaying 2 inches of butt crack. I realized at that point what was happening upstairs and that it was not going to end. it was very frustrating as I wanted to get a good night's sleep and the room was actually nice and the bed was comfortable. I did contact the front desk after about 2 hours of noise and they said they would call the room. the noise continued for another hour and I called the front desk again and requested a new room. The attendant said he had tried calling them but they didn't answer the phone. I said I wasn't surprised because they were too busy screaming at each other outside my window and chasing their two rat dogs around the parking lot in front of my corner room. staff was pleasant enough but I don't understand why this kind of behavior was allowed to carry on all night long. there was a security car driver that circled the parking lot and the buildings. I'm wondering why they didn't put a stop to this behavior. overall it was a terrible night and a terrible stay.

The room next to ours had a broken door so that the only way to close it was to slam it over and over again keeping us up at night and early in the morning. Also, the motion detector light above the sink would go on randomly throughout the night while we were in bed also keeping us awake. Not a restful stay.

room was clean. very quiet. we were on the freeway side, so it was slightly noisy during the 7-9 pm period. bring a charging plug. there are no USB outlets at all. overall great stay, staff was very responsive and cordial. plenty of places to eat. My stay here was not terrible, but it definitely wasn’t great either. The walls are very thin—I could hear dogs barking and normal conversations from the next room as if they were in mine. I also found a roach in the bathroom, which was unsettling. The smoke detector wasn’t attached to the ceiling and was just sitting on a table. I reported it, and while the staff said they’d take care of it, nothing was ever done.
Overall, the experience left me disappointed, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The staff were very nice. The room was a lot better than what I expected for the price that I paid. Big soft beds TV was a good size. Did not have the usual coffee, shampoo and conditioner in the room but that cuts costs to give me a cheaper price so I'm okay with not having the amenities.
