It’s not luxurious by any means, but the staff were direct and did not come off rude. I fell asleep an hour before check out time and my ride knocked on the did but ended up leaving me😔 but the phone rang and the front desk alerted me it was check out and they were cool about it. They gave me time to wake up and collect my mental bells and get going. They were even ok with waiting for my ride to get back so that i wasn’t standing outside with a bunch of bags and a suitcase. My ride was back at about 11:17. No one ever bothered me and the neighbors weren't to to crazy.
Only complaints would be there was no shower curtain. Taking a shower created a couple puddles without a towel on the ground. And the ac filter needs to be changed cause that thing smelled old.

I paid ahead of time online and when i checked in they tried to make me pay again. I showed my receipt and even then she tried to say I was lying. Everything was broken and barely hanging on. Ac was working but being held by zip ties so you couldn’t even aim the vents and was honestly scared to touch it and have it all fall out. The door was banged up like it was kicked from the inside and outside. Only got one tiny pillow. House keeping comes in the room even when you ask for no service. I stayed for 3 days and all 3 days they banged on the door and came in even after I said no thank you. The towels were tiny and all stained with some black stuff. The bathroom door was tagged with spray paint and there was black mold in the door stop. I will not be staying here again.

This motel 6 was definitely one of the dirtiest, run down places I’ve stayed. There was make up on the sheet, hairs, mold in the shower, blood on the wall, the AC was gross, pillows were chunky and crappy… the only good things were the woman who helped me check in was a sweetheart and the big trees by the dog area. Nasty. Spend the extra $20 and stay at the holiday inn or anywhere else.

This is the person that paid for the room not the person that actually stayed there. They were doing some work done to her sister's house where she stayed and she needed a place to stay until they completed that work . The area appeared to be safe. Since there was no kitchenette in her room. She could walk and there were two places where she could get coffee and something to drink.

I traveled from Vegas to Stockton for a one night stay and was told I had the only room left and the TV wouldn’t work. Obviously unhappy about this, receptionist magically found another with a working TV. Only problem was the AC did not work. I spent the night in a hot and humid room completely uncomfortable. When I went to shower in the morning, I noticed old bars of soap at the edge of the shower and was completely grossed out. I wanted to leave my bag at the front desk for an hour, because I had an appointment to go to and was told no. As someone who has worked as a guest service representative for many years at a hotel in the past, I was just completely baffled at the lack of “customer service.”

The room did stink so much that it was hard to tell if it is smoking or something else.

Ok for a quick one night stay for solo travel.
While the hotel was in an ok (not good, just ok) part of town, there were a lot of what seemed to be transient people staying there. The room was clean. The staff was very nice. No fridge. No microwave. My room was non smoking, but it smelled a bit of smoke. The pool was closed. I had to get a different set of sheets as the ones on my bed were stained. Not wet. Not with anything organic. It looked like black ink and it had been washed in. If you aren't picky and want an inexpensive place to sleep, it is fine. That said, I would not recommend for families.

This stay was much better than i expected. Im here for work and Stockton isnt a verry safe space but my stay was very safe and clean. The staff was very friendly and helped me when my key didnt work. My car didnt get broken into and the pizza guys place next door was amazing.

Definitely a place I would not book a second time. It was a \"non-smoking\" room that reeked of smoke. No fridge, no coffee maker, TV barely worked. No coffee or breakfast in the lobby in the morning, in fact the lobby was locked up tight day and night. I had to check in and check out through a pane of thick glass. Bare bones hotel room. Freeway noise all night. The best thing about it was the door was stout and locked well.

The minute from check in i knew it was going to be a rough stay… the lady at the window was completely helpless and i dont think understood how to fully do her job… then went into room and when i went to get in the bed noticed there was a red stain on the blanket, luckily i take my own so didnt need to use it. The beds frame was so loud every time you moved… it was a long night cuz i toss and turn a lot. The pillows were flatter then flat also even folded both, this is a personal preference… the single outlet by the bed didn’t work so left the two under tv or one by bathroom sink…

This place is is need of a major overall general good cleaning & renovation. Upon opening entering the front door, which had visible signs of being kicked in on multiple occasions to the fridge door, which came off, was not screwed on. The bathroom fan cover hadn’t been cleaned since the Clinton administration. I could go on, but not enough ink & paper.

my husband ... my mother in law and I live in Carlin, Nevada ... my husband had a family emergency and had to go to California to deal with it ... they tried to stay at the Budget Inn there in Stockton ... however ... the door looked like it has been hit with the battering ram a few times ... it didn't latch when they closed it from the inside ... and the room was full of roaches. They decided to get a room at The 6 (which they should have done like I told them to in the beginning) ... when they arrived at The 6 ... they explained their situation to the FDR on duty and she was very understanding ... helpful and patient ... for that my husband and mother-in-law will forever remember the night they should have listened and went to The 6 to begin with ... Thank You to all the staff that understood the situation and did everything they could to help.
