AC issues. Room was cold and heat did not work. Called the front desk and a repairman came to room and had to go into the ceiling of the bathroom to fix. He said the heat was off. Room warmed up but got too hot and the thermostat did not seem to control the temp, so turned off unit. Reported the problem at check out, needed to be repaired.

To be fully transparent...we were understanding of the construction going on here, and were warned. However were given a room on the 5th floor (even after I requested on on a higher flooe and was denied) right under the construction for the convention center and were woken up at 6am sunday, monday and the worst was tuesday morning with slamming hammer noises right above us...the first morning I called three times with no answer, and the lines were long when I went to the front desk in person...when my call to the front desk was finally answered on Tuesday morning he offered to waive the resort fees... and told me we should have called earlier and they would have moved us to another room. So, WHY would they put us in that room to begin with knowing construction was right above us? No other compensation was offered, maybe a free night in the future, or a refund of one of the three nights we stayed would have been nice. Then to make it like it was my fault for not notifying them when I TRIED! Very disappointing. We go to Tahoe several times a year and will not be giving them our business ever again.

We arrived shortly after midnight during a storm after a long drive and were given keys to a room that was already occupied by a sleeping guest. Being issued keys to an occupied room is a serious security breach and understandably alarming.

We were reassigned to another room where the bedding had visible stains and hair. The following morning I requested a call from a manager regarding both the security issue and the room condition but never received one. When we later spoke with the manager in person, we were told housekeeping would address the bedding immediately. We left the room for two hours and returned to find nothing had been done.

We requested another room, which unfortunately smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and required yet another relocation.

In less than 24 hours we experienced multiple room assignments due to a security lapse, unsanitary bedding, lack of follow-through on promised service, and smoke odor in the final room. I am sharing this feedback because these issues point to larger operational and safety concerns that should be reviewed.

Overbooked double queen rooms, then didn't offer anything to compensate for their mistake. Manager was rude and condescending when asked how we could make our situation work. He offered no solutions, other than to make my 17 year old athlete to sleep on the floor. Housekeeping didn't refill items requested, and when asked for those items waa told Housekeeping waa busy and i would need to get the items from the front desk. All amenities were under construction and had to walk to another casino to use their amenities yet waa charged a substantial \"resort\". Would NEVER stay at this hotel again!

Our room had water damage and the whole floor next to the window was all buckled and lifted. That whole window was leaking water from the outside in. There was blue tape holding the seams of the walls together. There was no easy way to get all your things from self parking into the hotel. There was a hidden resort fee that was not included with the price of the room off of Expedia. Parking was also not included. We would not stay there again.

The staff is not friendly. They have no knowledge of anything. Every single time I asked a question it was the wrong answer. One time we almost missed our shuttle because he told us the wrong pick up location! My room was not clean. Broken shards of glass in my bed and on the top of the bed. I cut my foot on a piece. Hair was all over the comforters, sheets, bathroom, and floor. It smelled dirty. The manager was nice and moved us to another room. The hallways smelled stale and of cigarettes. The hallway was so hot, and I am not a hot natured person. Our window was not properly sealed and leaked Our knob in bathroom sink for the hot water was broken and we could hardly turn on or off. Refrigerator did not work. They are now trying to charge me for something on the bar in the room that I did not use. I used the box to prop up my make up mirrror to get ready. So be aware if you take anything off regardless you will be charged. I will dispute this charge with my credit card company! The elevator screens did not work or speak. You had no idea what floor to get off at. Lots of construction and confusion as the employees all had different answers for the same questions! I do NOT recommend this place!!

Mobile \"express check in\" wasn't. Room was clean but stains on pillowcase and rug not vacuumed. No body wash in the dispenser. Construction is one thing, but multiple kiosks didn't work. The fridge was off/not cold.

ADA requirements: these have to still be met during upgr/construction. Some elevators did not have audible alerts. The door from the preferred/handicap parking had a button that didn't work. For someone needing ADA requirements to get inside.

I had a truly awful experience at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe and I would strongly recommend staying literally anywhere else.

First of all, the hotel is basically a construction site right now. Major parts of the property are under construction, which means noise, dust, and an overall unpleasant atmosphere. None of this was made clear when booking.

The amenities? Forget about them. The pool and everything related to it are completely closed. The gym is also closed. Even the main floor casino is closed. So you’re essentially paying resort prices for a place with no resort features.

To make things worse, our room was right next to the elevator. Before checking in, I specifically asked the receptionist if we could switch rooms because of the noise. She said she needed to talk to the manager, disappeared for a bit, then came back… with THREE earplugs. That was their “solution.” Completely ridiculous and honestly insulting.

The room itself wasn’t any better. The AC didn’t work properly. You set it to 69°F and it just climbs up to 78°F because it’s on some centralized system you can’t control. So you’re stuck in a hot, stuffy room all night.

Overall, this place is a mess, wildly overpriced for what you get, and clearly not ready to host guests in its current condition.

Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay far away from this hotel. There are plenty of better options in the area that are act

This was an absolutely horrible and unpleasant stay from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, it was a disaster. The elevators weren’t working, and I had to haul all my luggage from the fifth-floor garage down to the third-floor garage myself. Not exactly the welcome you expect.

The hotel feels extremely outdated, and there was loud construction noise that made it impossible to relax. Early in the morning, the cleaning staff was unbelievably loud — literally yelling at each other throughout the hallways and waking everyone up. Completely unprofessional.

On top of that, the place felt dead and empty, which made the whole experience even more uncomfortable.

I honestly should have stayed across the street at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. Do not stay here!!!

The hotel waits until AFTER you pay to let you know the pool & fitness center is closed. You have to go to sister hot Harrah's, get a key which took 20 minutes for them to make us a pool key. Harrah's pool hot tub was blocked off & closed down with signs that say \"out of order \" The hotel also messages you with their AI \"Ivy\" to let you know they are not doing housekeeping currently. The body wash dispenser in shower was broken. The window was very dirty & hard to see out of.
The toilet would not fill the entire week stay unless you removed the back & hit the black tube, which came off twice & shot water everywhere. The casino shops purposely don't have prices on any consumables to avoid sticker shock. There are no microwaves on the resort propery. The valets do not let you use the luggage carts to self unload your luggage to room & will move your car while youre unloading. Beware of parking fees of $20 a day for self parking (no valet).
On good note- the room was renovated and did not smell of smoke. The bed was comfortable, lots of pillows. They were quick to bring extra towels since no housekeeping. They also brought extra lotion upon request. The staff was friendly but very long wait times at resort check in desk in lobby any time we were down there. The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance from everything.

The hotel was overall okay, but there were a few things that could be improved. The room was quite small for the price, which was a bit disappointing. The elevator was also slow, which made getting to and from the room a little inconvenient. I just wish the hotel felt more updated, as some areas seemed a bit outdated. It wasn’t a bad stay, but with some renovations and improvements, it could be much better for the value.

The initial young man who checked me in was terrific. He offered an upgraded room, for a fee, and we enjoyed it. A young lady whom I spoke at the front desk about getting housekeeping scheduled after the first two days was a bit condescending and not customer oriented as she was reluctant to make sure I was taken care of on this issue. The room was terrific, clean, and spacious with a great view on the 18th floor. I was shocked at the prices in the Ramsey restaurant and the dining room on the top floor. We went out to the local establishments instead. Way overpriced. Cocktails were upwards of $27 a piece. Just a silly waste of money.
Daily parking of self parking of $20 on top of the daily resort fee of $27 made the good room deal not so good. It was a nice experience, even while under construction, due to the lake view from the 18th floor. But the extra added costs seemed too much.

There was definitely way more construction going on than I expected and I’m not sure what the resort fees were for other than for WiFi. I wish at the very least the gym was available because the one in harrah’s didn’t have too much equipment and can barely fit more than 3 to 4 people. I hope once the renovations are done it will look amazing.

There is temporary construction underway, so each of our concerns will likely to go away when current construction Phase is completed (June/July 2026).

Overall, the price & location were great. We were there to ski, not rate a room. Having the adjacent options (Harrahs & others) offered alternate solutions to anything.

It was a good trip.

A) It was difficult to hear the concierge & hosts behind the counter at check-in. Loud lobby music echoing in the check-in area (perhaps to drown out construction noises) made for difficult conversing at check-in.
B) Some 'To-Do items' needed fixing (pivot mirror, shower door mounts, refrigerator door)
C) calling 'front desk' from the room, connected us to general customer service lines in other places (location TBD)
D) casino space was limited due to construction

The suite itself was great. It was clean, spacious, smoke free, and had an incredible lake view. No complaints there.

That said, the rest of the property is a different story. The common areas smelled strongly of cigarette and marijuana smoke, and parts of the hotel are still under renovation. It also felt a bit frustrating to be charged a daily resort fee when there really aren’t any meaningful amenities open during renovations to justify it.

Location is a plus, though. It’s an easy walk to the gondola, which makes getting on the mountain convenient. If you can overlook the smoke and the ongoing updates, it’s still a decent value for the price.

Also, one of the beds was very uncomfortable compared to the other bed in the room. One was sinking in on one side. The bedding was very thin sheet was just a single layer of flat sheet. Didn’t have the fitted sheet. Kept moving exposing the mattress cover.

The heater does not work in our hotel room. When we contacted the help desk and they told us to adjust the 3 possible settings there are. No matter how long we blasted the heater the temperature did not get warmer than 64 degrees F. We were automatically charged a snack fee for picking up one of the snacks from the snack bar but not actually consuming it. Apparently there is a sensor under the snacks. Hotel should waive the “resort fee” while it is still under construction. The hotel looks like a mess but guests are charged a daily resort fee.

No amenities were open besides the one in the second hotel yet they charge $30 a day plus $15 a day in parking fees outrageous. they offered me a free night of $30 a day and still charge me to $54 instead. Terrible. The check-in kiosk wouldn’t scan the QR code. After entering confirmation code it would not accept my ID so I had to stand in line to check in which was a 10min wait and I was first in line. The hotel is Under major renovation. The majority of the casino is covered in black tarps. I stayed in room 670. 7am and you start to hear power tools and construction. Friday night you hear club music playing until 2am. $29.95 daily resort fee doesn’t include parking.. it’s for for fitness center,internet and phone calls. willwon’t be staying here again

Housekeeping staff were not receptive when as to just remove/empty the trash bins in the room and there were 2 housekeepers (one next to our room and one directly across our room during their cleaning. The room did not look like it was cleaned before I arrived. They didn't have any rooms for us available and then put us in a different room. The coffee cups in the room were not cleaned. The toiletries were empty: no shampoo, no conditioner and no body wash. We tried so many times to call with the phone in the room, but no one would pick up. Finally, we got ahold of house keeping on the phone and asked them to get us the shampoo, conditioner and body wash, but they forgot about us. Very mismanaged.

We stayed in a king room in the Remus tower. Originally I booked a room in the Romulus tower but they apparently oversold the deluxe room type. No big deal as they comped our resort fees but still a weird way to start. We stayed for 4 nights, and on the 3rd night we requested room service figuring we should probably get some fresh towels and actually get K cups, water bottles and tea as there were never any to begin with. I used their texting concierge service and made the request at 7am the Saturday we were there, and said we would be back by 1pm. We got back from skiing Kirkwood at about 2 and the room was not made. I was furious, and was only told that we would be on the cleaning list for the day. How crappy, so we said forget about it. Magically the next morning around check out housekeeping was near our room. Thus, our stay wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the absolute worst. A 3 star rating seems accurate because the room was gorgeous, the hotel itself is perfectly located and had good amenities. I would be excited to see how the new remodels look like. But don’t be blown away by the hotel service and have that expectation when staying here.

We stayed in the newly renovated tower. The hallways were filthy and garbage on the ground in the hallway when we arrived was still there 3 days later. The room “passed inspection” but the body wash and shampoo were empty on arrival. The thermostat didn’t work and required 3 trips to the front desk for maintenance to arrive.
