On road trip and wanted to stay in Tahoe for 2 nights. I checked to see if they had a fitness center. Checked for table games in the casino, looked for restaurants and they list a Mexican Restaurant on site, after I had made reservations I received an email stating construction remodel was going on, sorry for inconvenience. Paid mandatory Resort fee, Paid for Parking. Fitness center closed, had to go across the street to use Harrahs, Craps table never opened for my full stay, had to go to Ballys for gambling. Mexican restaurant only open Thursday though Sunday. My stay was Monday and Tuesday. Construction is Major inside the Casino. Not a memorable Stay.

Location is great, but the hotel is going through major renovations - no pool, resort amenities, etc., and limited working elevators (wheelchair and stroller access between certain floors, including the casino, is challenging). You’ll still be charged the resort fee though!

We always stay here when we come to S. Lake Tahoe. We got to stay at the remodeled rooms and they are very clean and nice. The casino floor is still under some renovation, but what has been completed looks great. Can't wait until its all finished. H.K. restaurant was very nice and we recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Tahoe.

We went knowing that they are still under construction. That didn’t bother us at all. Those issues (no pool, elevators sometimes working and sometimes not, construction going on, etc) were no big deal, it’s going to be beautiful when it’s all done. What did bother us, however, was that we were there from June 1-5 and never had housekeeping. We needed towels, trash emptied, new drinking glasses, shampoo (dispenser was broken). We spoke to no fewer than 4 humans and the AI concierge. We were told everything from “sorry we don’t have anyone to service your room” to “we already did service your room” (they didnt) to “we will send someone up right away, let me take down your room number” to “my apologies” (but no action) to “ok thanks for telling us, we will get someone up”.
It went from being very frustrating to laughable. Customers service fail- 100%

We stayed in a renovated Remus King Room. The room was very nice, nice new modern shower and the king bed was very comfortable, however, the entire experience was ruined due to loud music playing until 1 am at a neighboring night spot that for some reason Caesars republic nor Harrahs nor anyone can do anything about !!! Awful !!! I would have absolutely returned, but there is no way we will be back knowing that there's loud music playing until 1 a m every night !!! We were there 3 nights, Same thing every night. Unbelievable !!!!!!! Just terrible!!!

Hvac system in room is very loud. Construction everywhere in the hotel. 80% of the table games were closed at all times. Did not interact with hotel staff but casino staff was very friendly. Need better ventilation in the casino due to smokers

We booked a room for two guests, but there were only one coffee mug, one bath robe, and one pair of slippers in the room?!
The housekeeper came by at 10am next morning. We were not ready to leave the room yet so we asked her to come back around 11am to make up the room. By time we came back after walking around and lunch, we came back to the room about 3pm. The room was not made up yet. We had to call Housekeeping to arrange cleaning but our calls were never picked up. We called Housekeeping on other requests and no one picked up our calls. Wondering if the Housekeeping Department ever existed? We called the general operator to arrange the clean up and we had to leave our room again to let the housekeeper cleaned our room.
Other than the above disappointing situation, the hotel is nice, clean, at a good location and front desk staff are friendly.

The casino isn’t all the way up and running. A lot of it is down due to remodeling.
The pool/Spa area also isn’t available. It’s closed. It would have been nice to know before booking BUT we did love this hotel. Rooms were nice. Staff were nice. Just wish everything was up and running but we understand that it’s being remodeled!

Staff was not helpful. I asked for 3 robes for our room that was booked for 4 people because there was only 1 robe. I was told it was only 1 robe per room regardless of how many people were there. Amenities are not up to date. Tv is not a smart one. No apps and channels very limited. Room air wasn’t working had to call maintenance at midnight to fix it. Bath was chipping away paint.

The general conditions in public areas are bright, clean and newly renovated. However, there is no place to have breakfast (without going to nearby Harrah's). The check-in experience is terrible, we waited one hour but still have not get our reserved one king bed room, the staff repeatedly asked us to wait for the call, finally we were forced to accept a double queen bed room. By the way, the front desk staff seems not familiar with her job, she pointed us to the elevator far away (instead the one near lobby) while we have a lot heavy luggeges to carry on. Self parking in this hotel is also painful, there is no clear sign, you don't know how to get across the paystation etc. The good thing is that they gave me a free ticket for parking.

Lots of construction still going on. I find it hard to understand paying a resort fee when the pool is under construction and the sister property (Harrahs) pool is not heated and the jacuzzi was not working. Sports Book was a TV on a tripod and a portable kiosk.
Staff was tremendous and very helpful. Sunset dinner at the Sage Room was amazing.
Pay attention to the self parking fee and valet fee. I’m not sure why these aren’t spelled out for the consumer, as the vast majority are visitors and drove to Tahoe.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The room needed to be vacuumed better as there were giant crumbs under the tv stand. The makeup light wasn't working. We already knew before we booked that the pool was under construction and that we would need to visit Harrah's. The Harrah's pool could definitely use some upgrades! The pool showers were full of mold and the water backed up quickly even just rinsing off. We really enjoyed the plush robes in the room. That was a really nice touch!

The hotel is so much better after the room remodels. Unfortunately the remodel was still underway in the casino entrance and other areas so it was pretty chaotic in places. The room was clean, the shower worked really well and I really appreciate being able to store my things in the in-room fridge during an extended stay.

Hello, We had reserved a specific suite, but upon arrival the manager informed us that it was unfortunately not available. Instead, we were offered a different suite with what was described as a better view (our original booking had a street view, and the new one was supposed to be an upgrade). We agreed to the change.

However, the replacement suite turned out to be quite noisy at night. It was located near the rooftop area, and despite some distance, the mechanical equipment on the roof created significant noise that made it difficult to rest. This was disappointing, especially since we were expecting an upgraded experience.

The room was mostly clean and comfortable, but the noise levels from a nearby event was atrocious. At 2 am I was forced to go down to the front desk and get ear plugs. Although it’s not the fault of the hotel, they were well aware of the issue (apparently it’s a common occurrence) and never provided notice at check in. Instead they waited until I called down because I couldn’t bear the loud noise any longer. Mind you it was coming from I bellieve a club across the street. One would think hotel management would be in contact with the club. The front desk had no staff able to bring up the ear plugs (which they had, again because this is a common known occurrence) which made this a major inconvenience. I had to pay for parking in addition to the resort fee. It would seem that parking would be included in the cost of the room or the resort fee. Slot play was also undesirable. I would not recommend to friends or family.

Loved our room, very clean and well priced. Bars had tasty drinks. Excellent amenities. The bathroom in the room was indeed way too small and the bizarre door placement meant you had to walk in, squish yourself up next to the sink and shimmy by the door in order to close it and get access to the shower and toilet. No clue why it was built this way. That’s literally my only complaint. The staff everywhere are very kind and attentive. Check in and out was a breeze. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Nice place to stay. Very good location. Very disappointed they put regulators on the HVAC. It was snowing outside and I was too warm inside and couldnt even get it cool enough. Also water pressure was very weak. Seems they are looking to cut cost in every way possible but it brings down the experience. Overall i would stay there again though.

This hotel was extremely noisy. We were there for my daughter's dance competition and had to wake up early the next day. There was a night club across the street playing music loudly until past 2:30am. There were kids running up and down the halls screaming, people smoking marijuana in the rooms, and I could hear my neighbors fighting loudly next door. I went to the front desk and raised these issues with the manager that was there at night and she essentially told me that I made a mistake by booking a hotel that also has a casino when I have kids that have to wake up early. We ended up leaving in the morning and not staying for our second night even though it was pre paid. It is sad because I was excited to stay here. The rooms do look renovated and the other staff we encountered were very friendly except for the one in the evening. I did like the Wolf restaurant. Unfortunately I will never stay here again and will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The property is currently under construction, which was not clearly communicated beforehand and made the stay uncomfortable from the start.

Even more concerning, the entire place smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—including in what was supposed to be a non-smoking room. This made it very unpleasant and felt unacceptable given basic hospitality standards.

What stood out most, however, was the lack of care and professionalism from the staff. During our stay, my mother became ill, and when I needed assistance getting her into a wheelchair, no one offered to help. Staff members watched me struggle to unload her from the car and did not step in, nor did anyone offer assistance getting her to the room or elevator. That level of indifference was extremely upsetting.

I ultimately decided to check out a day early because of these issues. Instead of handling the situation with understanding, the front desk staff responded with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude.

Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

We had stayed the previous night at the Ceasers in Reno. For the same price we had a 19th floor room with a beautiful view of the mountains. At this resort we were put on the fourth floor on the same level as the roof over the casino. Noisy A/C units running day and night, weird rattling noises and screeches as well as hammering starting at 6 AM. Not at all impressed

Me and my fiancé stayed at this hotel serveral times during a week trip in Tahoe to celebrate our anniversary. One the last evening, we book another suite and were in the casino, enjoying ourselves, when my fiancé' needed to use the restroom. Upon her entering the restroom, she was followed and confronted by security who did not immediately identify themselves inside the restroom, just strangers asking questions in a private, personal space. After they finally idtifined themselves, she let them know she was a hotel guest and that I was waiting for her in the casino, but security did not attempt to verify this; instead they assumed she was lying and called the police and had her arrested for trespassing. Meanwhile, I am in the casino, unaware of what had transpired. I spent the rest of the evening, into the early morning, frantically searching for my fiancé; only to find out the hotel itself was the responsible. I will never stay at this hotel again, and neither should anyone else. This is not a safe place, the hotel betrayed our trust and may betray yours. Simply put, watch your back. The hotel security are untrained and dangerous.

Our stay at Caesars Republic was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the experience was poor. The staff at check-in were rude and unwelcoming, which set the tone right away.

The hotel was under construction, and to make matters worse, workers were actively sanding sheetrock as we walked in—dust got all over us and our luggage. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel operating at full capacity.

On top of that, there was extremely loud music playing until around 1 AM. It was so loud it felt like we were right next to a speaker, and we were unable to get any rest.

Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Not a great stay but not all the fault of the property. There are a lot of areas undergoing construction. But the biggest problem is the late music from a nearby nightclub. It was so load that it sounded like it was in my room. Based on this I don’t think I’ll be staying anywhere near downtown South Lake Tahoe going forward. I’ll stay in North Lake and drive down. Overall it’s not a bad place to stay and the location is convenient. It’s just the noise that I could hear all the way up on the 11th floor

“Resort” was nothing but and they still had the balls to charge a “resort fee”. After being told that we would have cleaning service, we didn’t, and when we asked for bath towels they weren’t sent up…I had to wonder the halls to find a member of the cleaning staff.

Hotel & Casino was under construction. Spa, pool, fitness center was closed. Very loud construction noise started at 5AM and the music from the club across the street didn’t stop until 2AM.

Wish I could rate this “resort” lower than TERRIBLE.

The room was not the cleanet for them to only have house keeping every 3 days. When we upgraded to the suite the shower still had hair on the wall so they clearly didn't clean the shower properly and the head board had a makeup face imprint as if they didn't even attempt to clean it. The property was doing construction so that was a nightmare. The staff was ok I would have thought because we were there for an event they would have been more helpful but Im just used to a certain type of service. Overall it was ok I would probably look into another property when I return just to see what they have to offer!

I have been staying at this hotel for 16 years now. They are improving the look with all the construction around but the customer service has become worse. Check in, my upgrade price was much lower at the kiosk than at the front desk. Cleaning? Not for me. I stayed for 5 nights and after 3 nights in a row of them telling me someone was coming to clean, no one ever came and it was time for me to leave. All I really wanted was towels and to take out the trash but that is too much to ask here. Bring back Harvey’s and the awesome staff that used to make this place great

We loved our stay here. Will definitely stay again. Conveniently located to the shops and lift at Heavenly, as well as the beach. Lots to do in the hotel as well. We had a great time!
