The room was mostly clean and comfortable, but the noise levels from a nearby event was atrocious. At 2 am I was forced to go down to the front desk and get ear plugs. Although it’s not the fault of the hotel, they were well aware of the issue (apparently it’s a common occurrence) and never provided notice at check in. Instead they waited until I called down because I couldn’t bear the loud noise any longer. Mind you it was coming from I bellieve a club across the street. One would think hotel management would be in contact with the club. The front desk had no staff able to bring up the ear plugs (which they had, again because this is a common known occurrence) which made this a major inconvenience. I had to pay for parking in addition to the resort fee. It would seem that parking would be included in the cost of the room or the resort fee. Slot play was also undesirable. I would not recommend to friends or family.

Loved our room, very clean and well priced. Bars had tasty drinks. Excellent amenities. The bathroom in the room was indeed way too small and the bizarre door placement meant you had to walk in, squish yourself up next to the sink and shimmy by the door in order to close it and get access to the shower and toilet. No clue why it was built this way. That’s literally my only complaint. The staff everywhere are very kind and attentive. Check in and out was a breeze. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Nice place to stay. Very good location. Very disappointed they put regulators on the HVAC. It was snowing outside and I was too warm inside and couldnt even get it cool enough. Also water pressure was very weak. Seems they are looking to cut cost in every way possible but it brings down the experience. Overall i would stay there again though.

This hotel was extremely noisy. We were there for my daughter's dance competition and had to wake up early the next day. There was a night club across the street playing music loudly until past 2:30am. There were kids running up and down the halls screaming, people smoking marijuana in the rooms, and I could hear my neighbors fighting loudly next door. I went to the front desk and raised these issues with the manager that was there at night and she essentially told me that I made a mistake by booking a hotel that also has a casino when I have kids that have to wake up early. We ended up leaving in the morning and not staying for our second night even though it was pre paid. It is sad because I was excited to stay here. The rooms do look renovated and the other staff we encountered were very friendly except for the one in the evening. I did like the Wolf restaurant. Unfortunately I will never stay here again and will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The property is currently under construction, which was not clearly communicated beforehand and made the stay uncomfortable from the start.

Even more concerning, the entire place smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—including in what was supposed to be a non-smoking room. This made it very unpleasant and felt unacceptable given basic hospitality standards.

What stood out most, however, was the lack of care and professionalism from the staff. During our stay, my mother became ill, and when I needed assistance getting her into a wheelchair, no one offered to help. Staff members watched me struggle to unload her from the car and did not step in, nor did anyone offer assistance getting her to the room or elevator. That level of indifference was extremely upsetting.

I ultimately decided to check out a day early because of these issues. Instead of handling the situation with understanding, the front desk staff responded with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude.

Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

We had stayed the previous night at the Ceasers in Reno. For the same price we had a 19th floor room with a beautiful view of the mountains. At this resort we were put on the fourth floor on the same level as the roof over the casino. Noisy A/C units running day and night, weird rattling noises and screeches as well as hammering starting at 6 AM. Not at all impressed

Me and my fiancé stayed at this hotel serveral times during a week trip in Tahoe to celebrate our anniversary. One the last evening, we book another suite and were in the casino, enjoying ourselves, when my fiancé' needed to use the restroom. Upon her entering the restroom, she was followed and confronted by security who did not immediately identify themselves inside the restroom, just strangers asking questions in a private, personal space. After they finally idtifined themselves, she let them know she was a hotel guest and that I was waiting for her in the casino, but security did not attempt to verify this; instead they assumed she was lying and called the police and had her arrested for trespassing. Meanwhile, I am in the casino, unaware of what had transpired. I spent the rest of the evening, into the early morning, frantically searching for my fiancé; only to find out the hotel itself was the responsible. I will never stay at this hotel again, and neither should anyone else. This is not a safe place, the hotel betrayed our trust and may betray yours. Simply put, watch your back. The hotel security are untrained and dangerous.

Our stay at Caesars Republic was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the experience was poor. The staff at check-in were rude and unwelcoming, which set the tone right away.

The hotel was under construction, and to make matters worse, workers were actively sanding sheetrock as we walked in—dust got all over us and our luggage. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel operating at full capacity.

On top of that, there was extremely loud music playing until around 1 AM. It was so loud it felt like we were right next to a speaker, and we were unable to get any rest.

Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Not a great stay but not all the fault of the property. There are a lot of areas undergoing construction. But the biggest problem is the late music from a nearby nightclub. It was so load that it sounded like it was in my room. Based on this I don’t think I’ll be staying anywhere near downtown South Lake Tahoe going forward. I’ll stay in North Lake and drive down. Overall it’s not a bad place to stay and the location is convenient. It’s just the noise that I could hear all the way up on the 11th floor

“Resort” was nothing but and they still had the balls to charge a “resort fee”. After being told that we would have cleaning service, we didn’t, and when we asked for bath towels they weren’t sent up…I had to wonder the halls to find a member of the cleaning staff.

Hotel & Casino was under construction. Spa, pool, fitness center was closed. Very loud construction noise started at 5AM and the music from the club across the street didn’t stop until 2AM.

Wish I could rate this “resort” lower than TERRIBLE.

The room was not the cleanet for them to only have house keeping every 3 days. When we upgraded to the suite the shower still had hair on the wall so they clearly didn't clean the shower properly and the head board had a makeup face imprint as if they didn't even attempt to clean it. The property was doing construction so that was a nightmare. The staff was ok I would have thought because we were there for an event they would have been more helpful but Im just used to a certain type of service. Overall it was ok I would probably look into another property when I return just to see what they have to offer!

I have been staying at this hotel for 16 years now. They are improving the look with all the construction around but the customer service has become worse. Check in, my upgrade price was much lower at the kiosk than at the front desk. Cleaning? Not for me. I stayed for 5 nights and after 3 nights in a row of them telling me someone was coming to clean, no one ever came and it was time for me to leave. All I really wanted was towels and to take out the trash but that is too much to ask here. Bring back Harvey’s and the awesome staff that used to make this place great

During my 3-night stay there was no turn down or housekeeping service. I had to call down for fresh towels. There was no bell boy to help with my luggage, and to make matters worse, they charged me $20 for parking everyday even though I didn’t request it, nor did I have a car. And there was also a random $38 charge for “refreshments” and when I explained I hadn’t taken anything from the minibar they said it was for using their chargers. That was so random, especially since I did not use any of their charging cords, as I brought my own. It’s also very difficult to get to the Remus side of the hotel with luggage since the floors are all carpet.

AC issues. Room was cold and heat did not work. Called the front desk and a repairman came to room and had to go into the ceiling of the bathroom to fix. He said the heat was off. Room warmed up but got too hot and the thermostat did not seem to control the temp, so turned off unit. Reported the problem at check out, needed to be repaired.

To be fully transparent...we were understanding of the construction going on here, and were warned. However were given a room on the 5th floor (even after I requested on on a higher flooe and was denied) right under the construction for the convention center and were woken up at 6am sunday, monday and the worst was tuesday morning with slamming hammer noises right above us...the first morning I called three times with no answer, and the lines were long when I went to the front desk in person...when my call to the front desk was finally answered on Tuesday morning he offered to waive the resort fees... and told me we should have called earlier and they would have moved us to another room. So, WHY would they put us in that room to begin with knowing construction was right above us? No other compensation was offered, maybe a free night in the future, or a refund of one of the three nights we stayed would have been nice. Then to make it like it was my fault for not notifying them when I TRIED! Very disappointing. We go to Tahoe several times a year and will not be giving them our business ever again.

We arrived shortly after midnight during a storm after a long drive and were given keys to a room that was already occupied by a sleeping guest. Being issued keys to an occupied room is a serious security breach and understandably alarming.

We were reassigned to another room where the bedding had visible stains and hair. The following morning I requested a call from a manager regarding both the security issue and the room condition but never received one. When we later spoke with the manager in person, we were told housekeeping would address the bedding immediately. We left the room for two hours and returned to find nothing had been done.

We requested another room, which unfortunately smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and required yet another relocation.

In less than 24 hours we experienced multiple room assignments due to a security lapse, unsanitary bedding, lack of follow-through on promised service, and smoke odor in the final room. I am sharing this feedback because these issues point to larger operational and safety concerns that should be reviewed.

Overbooked double queen rooms, then didn't offer anything to compensate for their mistake. Manager was rude and condescending when asked how we could make our situation work. He offered no solutions, other than to make my 17 year old athlete to sleep on the floor. Housekeeping didn't refill items requested, and when asked for those items waa told Housekeeping waa busy and i would need to get the items from the front desk. All amenities were under construction and had to walk to another casino to use their amenities yet waa charged a substantial \"resort\". Would NEVER stay at this hotel again!

There was blue tape holding the seams of the walls together. There was no easy way to get all your things from self parking into the hotel. There was a hidden resort fee that was not included with the price of the room off of Expedia. Parking was also not included. We would not stay there again.

The staff is not friendly. They have no knowledge of anything. Every single time I asked a question it was the wrong answer. One time we almost missed our shuttle because he told us the wrong pick up location! My room was not clean. Broken shards of glass in my bed and on the top of the bed. I cut my foot on a piece. Hair was all over the comforters, sheets, bathroom, and floor. It smelled dirty. The manager was nice and moved us to another room. The hallways smelled stale and of cigarettes. The hallway was so hot, and I am not a hot natured person. Our window was not properly sealed and leaked Our knob in bathroom sink for the hot water was broken and we could hardly turn on or off. Refrigerator did not work. They are now trying to charge me for something on the bar in the room that I did not use. I used the box to prop up my make up mirrror to get ready. So be aware if you take anything off regardless you will be charged. I will dispute this charge with my credit card company! The elevator screens did not work or speak. You had no idea what floor to get off at. Lots of construction and confusion as the employees all had different answers for the same questions! I do NOT recommend this place!!

Mobile \"express check in\" wasn't. Room was clean but stains on pillowcase and rug not vacuumed. No body wash in the dispenser. Construction is one thing, but multiple kiosks didn't work. The fridge was off/not cold.

ADA requirements: these have to still be met during upgr/construction. Some elevators did not have audible alerts. The door from the preferred/handicap parking had a button that didn't work. For someone needing ADA requirements to get inside.

I had a truly awful experience at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe and I would strongly recommend staying literally anywhere else.

First of all, the hotel is basically a construction site right now. Major parts of the property are under construction, which means noise, dust, and an overall unpleasant atmosphere. None of this was made clear when booking.

The amenities? Forget about them. The pool and everything related to it are completely closed. The gym is also closed. Even the main floor casino is closed. So you’re essentially paying resort prices for a place with no resort features.

To make things worse, our room was right next to the elevator. Before checking in, I specifically asked the receptionist if we could switch rooms because of the noise. She said she needed to talk to the manager, disappeared for a bit, then came back… with THREE earplugs. That was their “solution.” Completely ridiculous and honestly insulting.

The room itself wasn’t any better. The AC didn’t work properly. You set it to 69°F and it just climbs up to 78°F because it’s on some centralized system you can’t control. So you’re stuck in a hot, stuffy room all night.

Overall, this place is a mess, wildly overpriced for what you get, and clearly not ready to host guests in its current condition.

This was an absolutely horrible and unpleasant stay from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, it was a disaster. The elevators weren’t working, and I had to haul all my luggage from the fifth-floor garage down to the third-floor garage myself. Not exactly the welcome you expect.

The hotel feels extremely outdated, and there was loud construction noise that made it impossible to relax. Early in the morning, the cleaning staff was unbelievably loud — literally yelling at each other throughout the hallways and waking everyone up. Completely unprofessional.

On top of that, the place felt dead and empty, which made the whole experience even more uncomfortable.

I honestly should have stayed across the street at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. Do not stay here!!!

The hotel waits until AFTER you pay to let you know the pool & fitness center is closed. You have to go to sister hot Harrah's, get a key which took 20 minutes for them to make us a pool key. Harrah's pool hot tub was blocked off & closed down with signs that say \"out of order \" The hotel also messages you with their AI \"Ivy\" to let you know they are not doing housekeeping currently. The body wash dispenser in shower was broken. The window was very dirty & hard to see out of.
The toilet would not fill the entire week stay unless you removed the back & hit the black tube, which came off twice & shot water everywhere. The casino shops purposely don't have prices on any consumables to avoid sticker shock. There are no microwaves on the resort propery. The valets do not let you use the luggage carts to self unload your luggage to room & will move your car while youre unloading. Beware of parking fees of $20 a day for self parking (no valet).
On good note- the room was renovated and did not smell of smoke. The bed was comfortable, lots of pillows. They were quick to bring extra towels since no housekeeping. They also brought extra lotion upon request. The staff was friendly but very long wait times at resort check in desk in lobby any time we were down there. The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance from everything.

The hotel was overall okay, but there were a few things that could be improved. The room was quite small for the price, which was a bit disappointing. The elevator was also slow, which made getting to and from the room a little inconvenient. I just wish the hotel felt more updated, as some areas seemed a bit outdated. It wasn’t a bad stay, but with some renovations and improvements, it could be much better for the value.

The initial young man who checked me in was terrific. He offered an upgraded room, for a fee, and we enjoyed it. A young lady whom I spoke at the front desk about getting housekeeping scheduled after the first two days was a bit condescending and not customer oriented as she was reluctant to make sure I was taken care of on this issue. The room was terrific, clean, and spacious with a great view on the 18th floor. I was shocked at the prices in the Ramsey restaurant and the dining room on the top floor. We went out to the local establishments instead. Way overpriced. Cocktails were upwards of $27 a piece. Just a silly waste of money.
Daily parking of self parking of $20 on top of the daily resort fee of $27 made the good room deal not so good. It was a nice experience, even while under construction, due to the lake view from the 18th floor. But the extra added costs seemed too much.
