I had a reservation at the hotel and then they sent me to an apartment three blocks away. That was fine once I found it.

The Guest wifi in my room was absolutely terrible and I couldn’t connect. I was very lucky to have had my mobile hotspot on my iPhone. This saved me. But the cellular connection in Paderborn is also relatively poor so the connection was a bit dicey. I was in room Pader 801.

They rent these rooms everyday, they should know by now that their guest wifi doesn’t work well and fix it.

A trip down memory lane

We left Paderborn 20 years ago so this was a chance to revisit nostalgia and spend a few days at the Christmas markets. Art Hotel was a super choice because it had thatxreal individual gaste stube feel and everythingwas as you would expect. Definitely recommended.

Night staff cant speak English

Had trouble getting the room. I reached at 10pm and the front desk guy didnt know English. I had a hard time telling him I have a reservation and entering the front lobby of hotel. I had to get help of another hotel patron to communicate with him. Eventually I had to pay for the room even though I had already paid in full through hotels.com. Took me a good 20mins to enter the room. Anyway room was good. Next morning, the front desk lady told me that they cancelled the additional charge. Hotel is ok but you may face trouble if you come in late since the night staff may not be able to speak English.

Good Hotel - but not near Paderborn Main Station

Very friendly receptionist and lovely Hotel, but we had expected that the Hotel is situated (as mentioned in the web site of Hotel.com) only 5 min walking distance from the train station and we had to experience that the Hotel was 25 walking minutes away. We were forced with our luggage to take a taxi both times - arriving and leaving the Hotel which we wanted to avoid.

Pleasant hotel close to the town centre.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were polite and attentive. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise with plenty of choice for all. The food was appetising and there was tea, coffee and fruit juice on offer throughout the meal. Overall, a very pleasant stay and if I'm ever in Paderborn again I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

A little gem in the heart of a pretty town

Chosen because of its location and to suit a limited budget, we weren't expecting such a nice experience. Wonderful staff, gorgeous food, a very high standard of cleanliness and décor, complimentary parking round the corner. Its proximity to the Hard Rock bar next door had no adverse impact. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I wanted a short stay (2 nights) in Paderborn and found this hotel through Expedia. It is superbly located, close to a car park and within easy walking distance of the centre of the city. The hotel is relatively small but has exceedingly high standards. The staff were all extremely helpful, and fully conversant in English, which helped due to my school-boy level of foreign languages. The room was spacious and had everything that one would expect in a 4 or 5 star hotel; it is surprising that this hotel does not have a higher rating. The bed, comprising 2 large divans close together, was very comfortable. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the hotel and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it to family and friends.

The room was extremely pleasant, attractive, and clean. The bathroom was very clean and attractive, a good size, with space for personal toiletries (soap and shampoo only provided as a universal gel in pump bottles; probably a good idea to bring your own) and a very good shower that wasn't complicated to use. My only suggestions for improvement would be different bed linen (the sheet was like rough terrycloth and not pleasant to sleep on) and a bigger, plumper pillow (or even two pillows). Light sleepers should bring an eye mask (the light from the phone is rather bright) and earplugs (noise from occasional traffic on the street below, although not really noisy and certainly not loud, can disturb sleep). A great location for visiting the cathedral area, museums and shopping. Staff were very pleasant, helpful; breakfast was excellent, with freshly cooked eggs offered as well as lots of sausages, fruit, juices, yogurts, cheeses, lovely bread.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was a charming property and the service was excellent. Great breakfast buffet and the internet service worked really well. Conveniently located near the city center, though almost a 25 minute walk to the main railway station. Room was comfortable and clean. Our room faced the street and the beer garden so it was a little noisy since you could overhear the conversations of the guests at the beer garden and of course traffic.

The hotel was very clean, well kept and looked freshly decorated. The room was a generous size, with all facillities as described in the hotel information. The staff were approachable, pleasant and well spoken. Had small problem with booking in, but this was not the problem of the hotel but the booking agent. The staff bent over backwards to help us out.
The double room was comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional.
The only drawback at the time of our stay was the road works at the front of the building, as this was very loud early in the morning.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and would stay there, if in Paderborn again.

This hotel is on a quiet street but just a few blocks from the center of the old city and the Dom. Staff was extremely accommodating. Breakfast was good. We did not eat other meals in the dining room as many other restaurants are in the immediate area.

Die Matratzen hatten schon eine Vertiefung. Im Bad fehlte eine Handtuchstange für das zweite Paar Handtucher. Der Luftabzug im Bad hat zu wenig Leistung. Es dauert ewig bis der Luftaustausch erfolgt ist. Das Frühstück für 17 € ist zu teuer. Zu wenig Auswahl, kein frisches Obst, zu wenig Gemüse. Sonst ein sehr netter Hotel. Sehr gut gelegen. Gesamteindruck gut.

Eine zentrale Lage hat Vorteile, jedoch wenn ebenerdig gewohnt wird ist es eher laut. Morgens standen immer irgendwelche Dosen/Flaschen auf der Fensterbank die im vorbeigehen einfach abgestellt wurden.
Kochgeschirr ist nicht im Apt., sondern muss man gegen ein Pfand in Höhe von 50EUR abholen.
Beim eintreffen war die Wohnung auf den ersten Blick sauber, aber auf den zweiten Blick fanden sich Brandlöcher am/im Vorhang und \"Wollmäuse\" in den Ecken.

Die Unterkunft ist ganz schön, etwas altmodisch aber völlig ok. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Service war auch sehr nett. Hundefreundlich, vor der Tür kann man schön spazieren gehen. Park Möglichkeit ist keine 100m entfernt(Parkgebühren).
Was ich nicht so schön fand war das vom Vorgänger dunkle Haare(vlt auch von der Reinigungskraft) auf der Bettdecke waren, im Waschbecken und der Dusche. Sowas darf nicht sein.

Very nice hotel, comfortable room/bed and an excellent breakfast. Beautiful lounge areas, free tea and coffee machine throughout the day and evening. I found it a little difficult to adapt to the German standard way of not having 24h reception, but we worked around it. The hotel offers a room-clean opt out and reward you with a free drink instead. We opted for this and it worked well. Just remember though (especially if you are not staying in the main hotel building, it means they don't bring new toilet rolls or fresh towels..you'll need to ask for these if needed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it. My only disappointment was that the Sauna was not open and I specifically chose this hotel for this facility.

Das Hotel ist nett, modern, der Empfang herzlich, das Frühstück gut. Das Appartement im separat gelegenem Haus wäre schön, wenn der Teppich nicht eine Aneinanderreihung von Flecken wäre und die Bettumrandung nicht total aufgekrazt wäre. Schade, das Haus ist schön, das Badezimmer sogar richtig toll. Der Empfang hat alles getan, um die Begebenheiten gutzumachen, Kompliment dafür. Die Kritik geht an die Besitzer.

Gefallen hat mir das ordentliche gut ausgestattete Zimmer.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche Personal.

Hôtel de taille moyenne très agréable. Bien situé par rapport au centre ville, même la gare centrale est joignable à pied. Chambre confortable, bonne literie, bons points lumineux. Stayed for one night in a single room in the Annex building of the hotel. Room was small but nice with a good working AC which came in handy as it was a hot summer night. Room was towards street which was noisy. Walls could be thicker as I good hear my room neighbors all the time. Wifi did not really worked. Reception closes at 8pm. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Top sauberes Hotel

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Sehr nette Leute und eine Top Reinigungskraft. Ich habe noch nie in so einem sauberen Zimmer gewohnt u. glauben Sie mir, ich habe schon in einigen gewohnt. Frühstück fand ich ein wenig teuer, ändert aber nicht meine positive Meinung. Wir kommen wieder! Vielen Dank!

AÄußerst angenehmer Aufenthalt in dem kleinen, familiären Hotel unmittelbar an der Altstsdt von Paderborn. Der Service war sehr persönlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage zum Fussgängerbereich der Stadt ist sehr günstig. Der riesige Parkplatz um die Ecke ist von außerhalb gut erreichbar und nicht weit von den Autobahnauffahrten entfernt.

Très bon hôtel à Paderborn

Très bon hôtel situé au centre de Paderborn! Très facile d’accès, parking à proximité pour gare le véhicule. Accueil au top, personnel très attentionné et disponible. Les chambres sont confortables, très propres, et bien agencées. Wifi de bonne qualité.
En sortant de l’hôtel, vous arrivez directement au centre ville de Paderborn avec de nombreux restaurants à proximité immédiate.
