Really first class all around.
Being a Best Western I really did not expect too much. The B-W hotels I have stayed at in the USA have typically been somewhere between poor and mediocre but this hotel was first class in every category.

Relaxing trip

A very comfortable hotel with good leisure facilities, very well located in the quiet Spa Town of Bad Lippspringe. Most staff were very friendly and helpful which helped make our stay so enjoyable. Worthwhile knowing that you have to ask for a kettle to make a hot drink as this isn't automatically put in the room, we had to read through the Hotel guide to find this information as as we didn't arrive till evening we didn't find this information until the next day.

Very warm,cheerful and elegant

We were there to attend a concert for Healing and Meditation, about 50 Km from the hotel. Eventhough there were motels much closer to the venue, we stayed at the Park Hotel all the 4 nights. The staff was very warm, the breakfast choices were unlike any we have seen before, the service was prompt and the approach to the hotel was very good.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der Villa. Der WLAN Empfang war dort nicht gut. Empfang und Versenden von E-Mails nur über eigens eingerichteten Hotspot möglich.
Terrasse vom Zimmer aus nicht ebenerdig erreichbar, man muss über den erhöhten Fensterrahmen steigen.
Am Fernseher und Badezimmerspiegel Schlieren vom Putzen erkennbar, ebenso einen Ansteckpin auf dem Fußboden vom Vorgänger vorgefunden.
Kaltschaummatratze, da ich Federkern gewohnt bin, bezüglich der Weiche sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Frühstück wirkt funktionell. Hier wären Brötchen/Brotkörbe und größere Teller schön.
Vom Personal an der Rezeption hätte ich aufgrund der Sterne mehr positive Ausstrahlung erwartet.
Positiv hervorzuheben sind die Kaffeeautomaten in den Hauptbereichen des Hotels, wo jederzeit heißes Wasser, Café Crema und Espresso kostenlos zur Verfügung steht. Schade dass die anderen gängigen Kaffeespezialitäten dort nicht erhältlich sind.
Der Saunabereich ist angenehm gestaltet. Es gibt eine kleine Ecke wo frisches Obst, Wasser sowie Studentenfutter und getrocknetes Obst bereitgestellt ist, welches regelmäßig nachgefüllt wird.
In der Umgebung befinden sich fußläufig diverse Restaurants.

Schmutziges Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn

Leider entsprach mein Zimmer nicht den Erwartungen: In nahezu jeder Ecke befanden sich Spinnennetze, was auf eine mangelnde Reinigung hinweist. Aus dem Wasserhahn kam leicht gelbliches Wasser mit schwarzen Partikeln, was mir leider erst am zweiten Tag auffiel. Aufgrund der Verunreinigung habe ich es vermieden, mein Gesicht oder meine Hände damit zu waschen, und selbst zum Zähneputzen habe ich lieber Wasser aus der Flasche verwendet.

Das Hotel ist okay, aber für den Preis zu teuer.
Das Personal beim Frühstück ist super nett und zuvorkommend. Leider ist dafür das Personal an der Rezeption nicht immer so freundlich und lösungsorientiert. Die Decke in Zimmer ist viel zu dünn für den Winter. Die Lüftung war so laut das das Einschlafen schwierig wurde.
In dem Wellnessbereich gib es nie Handtücher und der Bademantel wird auch nicht gewechselt, beim Aufenthalt von 3 Nächten.

Das Personal war nett und freundlich, nur leider viel zu wenig Personal beim Frühstück, so dass viele Dinge erst nach langer Wartezeit aufgefüllt wurden. Das Geschirr war leider nicht sauber. Im Wellnessbereich war es leider nur möglich was zu essen, wenn man es telefonisch bestellt und dann saß man leider in einer leblosen Ecke, wo die Theke nicht mehr besetzt wird, wahrscheinlich wegen Personalmangel. Sehr schade, denn ich denke das einige die Möglichkeit dort zu essen wahrnehmen würden, wenn das Ambiente stimmt.
In den Ruheräumen gab es leider viel zu wenig decken, so dass man nach der Sauna ohne Decke auf der Liege lag.
Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Die Bautätigkeit im Spa Bereich sowie wie die Nutzung als Durchgang für Handwerkerkolonnen. Hierüber hätte im Vorfeld informiert werden müssen. Häufig nutzte dieser Personenkreis auch den Weg vorbei an den textilfreien Saunen. Eine Frechheit.

Ihr Hotel und besonders der Spa Bereich hat uns sehr gefallen. Das einzige die Handtücher für die Sauna waren zu kurz um sich hin die Sauna hin zu legen. Es soll ja kein Schweiß auf das Holz tropfen.
Unser Bad war traumhaft groß. Eine begehbare Dusche wäre super da man mit Rückenproblemen nicht so gut einsteigen kann und die Glastür schlecht zu schließen war.
Wir kommen trotzdem gerne wieder.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war eher lustlos, konnte die Formalitäten aber zufriedenstellend abwickeln. Das Servicepersonal beim Frühstück, im Restaurant und an der Bar war professionell und sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausgezeichnet, ebenso das Essen im Restaurant. Man ist dabei, das Hotel moderner auszustatten, das ist sehr geschmackvoll. Unbedingt verbessern muss sich die Blumendekoration im Eingangsbereich. Die Anwendungen im Spa waren sehr gut. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen und uns gut erholt.

Unfassbar schlecht

Das Hotel hat ein ernsthaftes Problem mit dem House Keeping!!!
Hotel Flure zwar mit neuem Teppich verlegt (und riecht leider immer noch nach Klebstoff :-(( ), aber total dreckig und nicht gereinigt über 3 Tage ... nicht nachvollziehbar!
Im Bad stank es stark nach Urin und die Toilette war versifft und der WC-Deckel absolut verdreckt (Scharnierbereich)
Das ist unterirdisch und es ärgert uns immer noch :-((

Am Samstag wurde scheinbar das Zimmer den ganzen Tag bis in den späten Abend gelüftet, denn die Fenstertür stand sperrangelweit offen, als wir abends ca 22 Uhr wieder ins Zimmer kamen (Zimmer im 1. OG)
