When I arrived after the check in time the room wasn't ready and there was a very odd smell in the lobby. The owner manager is absolutely a wonderful hostess. The ad advertised there was breakfast and coffee in the morning and this was not true. It was an okay place to stay but I don't know if I would stay there again.

The room was very unpleasant. The floors were peeling up, and there were a lot of flies hanging around. I did not feel like anything had been cleaned. I pulled back the duvet and found a dead fly in the sheets when I was preparing to go to bed. The bathroom was the worst - some serious maintenance needs to be done to make this place presentable at the very least.

This was one of the worse places I have ever been to. There were flies and bugs all over inside our room. The condition of the room was extremely poor. The door had serious daylight between the frame and the door and dents all over the door that looked like if you gave it a half hearted kick it could easily be opened. The room also smelled really bad. We had booked 2 nights but had an emergency and had to leave after only 30 minutes of being there and that was probably for the best with the incredible poor quality and bugs. Asked for a refund for the 2nd night but have not seen anything...

Checked in walked down to room manager opened door the key she gave me she said it was a master key it was pretty scratched up and worn out. I left the hotel for about 30 minutes came back downpour raining key would not open door went to front desk door was locked called the number no one would answer. Finally the manager called and said she was on her way back from getting her kids from school. Went down to my room still couldn’t get in Told her I needed a new key. The one she gave me is to scratched up would not work. She finally came back to my room with another key with the best Western logo on it, thank goodness that one worked, but it was still pretty scratched up. They need to invest in new key cards. Will not be staying there again do not recommend.

The building is old and not well kept upon arrival our room wasn’t clean. Bathtub and toilet had dead bugs, beds both had stained dirty sheets. When we checked in we were told there wasn’t any towels but they would bring us some. When towels were brought I informed the young man that our room wasn’t properly clean he didn’t really seem to care but said he would tell his mom (the owner). The owner did end up cleaning our room before we returned for the night. Which was much better but I still ended up spraying Lysol on everything as it didn’t feel clean enough. The only good this was the bed was actually really comfy. And the owner did say she was sorry about our room but blamed it on her daughter. Definitely wouldn’t stay there again

I really am only able to report on the customer service for this motel. We were booked here for one night, but got a call that day that Expedia had overbooked them and I didn’t have a room. I don’t really know if this was Expedia’s or this locations fault. The lady I spoke with was very nice and put us up at the Capri motel that she said was another hotel that they run. She even mentioned that the Capri motel has better rooms than Circle S. If that is truly the case, I would steer clear of this motel. Our room at Capri was completely run down. I didn’t feel safe that the room was truly locked. The blinds on the windows didn’t fully cover, so anyone would be able to peek in. The bathroom had a window without and type of covering! I didn’t feel like I could undress! I wouldn’t have wanted to anyway because the tub was gross! We only stayed a few hours because I couldn’t even sleep I was so uncomfortable. We checked in a midnight and was gone by 5am! So, beware about booking at Circle S, you might be moved to Capri.

You get what you pay for.
The exterior is not inviting but the rooms are spacious.
My room was rundown but everything worked and was perfectly adequate for a one night stay.
The shower was surprisingly large.
When I met the manager she was friendly and gave me good advice on a tourist spot to visit that I didn’t know about.

The property owner is new so first off cut her some slack. She was probably the best hostess I've had outside of a bed and breakfast. Property is clean but is being worked on, so I understand there isnt a five star suite available but for the prices you will be pleasantly surprised by the room. Gering is walkable from there but take your car to Scottsbluff just beware the bridge crossing into scottsbluff was only one way and I ended up on a pleasant country detour to get back to Gering. Overall the room was good but the hostess was great.

The manager was very nice said she just took over recently but the property was so dirty and disgusting! The door to our room was falling apart so there was a gap at the bottom, the AC unit was rigged to work I guess but didn't really work, the tv wouldn't turn off, the floors were so nasty they turned our socks black, there were dead bugs in the window seals, and the other guests sat outside being very loud until 2-3 am.

There is nothing good about this property. The room wasn't ready at 4pm when I tried to check in. The attendant said she would ask the guy that would be next to me to be quite. I asked if he was a monthly rented to which she said yes. Then she asked how many beds I needed to which I replied at least one. She then said if I could wait 30 minutes a quieter room would be ready. I said I would go to dinner then come back. At 7:30pm when I returned I couldn't find her so I looked in the room I was to be assigned only to find the maintenance man installing a wall airconditioner and nailing up a board. The board was because the new air conditioner was smaller than the other and the hole needed to be covered so you couldn't see outside. I went back to the office and the attendant finally came. I told her this situation was not acceptable. She said she couldn't cancel my reservation but would call Expedia in the morning so I could be refunded my money. I had to go to another hotel and didnt stay at the Circle S Lodge. I called Expedia that night to try to get my money back but they couldn't issue a refund without approval from Circle S lodge. Expedia tried calling Circle S without success. I called Circle S and Expedia agian the next day without any resolution. Circle S will not answer the phone. I guess a refund will not be issued. Expedia should not allie Circle S to use their service. I will keep trying to get refund.

My reservation was lost so at 10:00 at night I went to find a different motel. The place appeared to be under major cleaning/construction in rooms that had open curtains. The parking lot was filled with holes. I was honestly thankful they'd lost the reservation because it gave me bad vibes and didn't appear to be a good place to stay. The lady on the phone offered to see if their \"other hotel\" had a room, but I seriously questioned it being a decent place to stay based on what I was seeing at this one.

This hotel is older. The parking lot has some potholes. A great effort has been put into making the room nice, and clean. The manager checked us in, brought us extra towels. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also larger than most I've seen in a hotel, it was also clean.

Smoke detectors missing, no garbage can, the shower had used soap and shampoo on the shelf, which lead me to question if it was cleaned. The alarm had food particles on it. The tv remote didn’t work. The carpet below the a/c unit was saturated with water. Overall I would think it should be condemned until proper renovations are done. I couldn’t sleep thinking the bed probably had dirty sheets, so I left at 2:30 am ☹️

What I liked about the Circle S was how hard the staff works to make sure everytjing is clean, comfortable, and ready for their guests. Being an older motel the rates are more affordable than some of the newer, bright and shiney motels /hotels in the area. Amy, the manager, never sits down. She is constantly attending to the needs of her guests. The Circle S is in the process of being upgraded under new ownership. The new I liked that yhe Circle S is equipped with security cameras, so no worry about guest's bikes, etc being stolen, vandalism or breakins. The single bed room was comfortable and clean with good Wifi, microwave, refrigerator and a great TV. The bed was perfect. I liked that Amy puts a clean sheet over the top of the beds...I hate hotels that never change their bedspreads. This saves taking off the bedspread. You know everything is sterile. 5 Big-Stars !

My un-Stay at Circle S Lodge a complete bust!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by someone who said, sorry... we don't have rooms for you. They put us in another motel (2 star) in a different town. That place had no hot water, lamp shades or coffee in the morning as promised. It was an awful experience.

About the only good thing was the price.

When i checked in the cc machine was not working well. We were initially only offered one room keycard. Our room was a real cool temperature when we walked in... Which was great at first, but then was a little to cool. Which led us to discover that the knob on the Ptac unit was busted. The floorbmat in the bathroom was dirty. The bathroom door dragged and scraped on the floor. There was a dirty toothbrush under one of the beds. One of the outlets in the room was missing a proper cover.

A few good things. The price. The lady who checked us in was friendly and helpful despite the ac npt working in the lobby on what was one of the hottest days.

Great place and value

Couldn't have been happier. I read some of the negative reviews and really think it's a matter of unrealistic expectations. If you want a fancy 5-star room, go pay 4 times the rate to get it. This place is a bit older, the furnishing is a bit older, etc, but it's clean and everything is in working condition. Parking is plentiful and feet from your door. There's one gal that's doing most the work on the property (cleaning, running the desk, landscaping, etc). She is friendly and cares, but likely won't be sitting by the phone in the lobby at 2am just in case you call. If you need that kind of attention, again, perhaps this place isn't for you. I found it to be just fine and a great value. 👍

This motel is run by a lady named Amy. She was nice and the wifi was fast. And those are the only positives. The driveway is unpaved and full of potholes. There is trash all around the motel and it looks like you were on someone's backyard. The room smelled by mold and there was an electric air freshener to cover the mold smell that I had to shut down because the scent was extremely strong. The bathroom was dirty and very small. Just look at the photos.

Shortly after making our reservation, we were emailed by Amy at Circle S Lodge. She communicated with us before and after our stay to let us know our room was getting prepared and to thank us for staying. It was a nice touch. The folks at Circle S Lodge were great.

The room was nice in most respects, though the max volume on the TV was very, very low.

The only real complaint I have is that the carpet didn't run right up to the edge of the bathroom door, and once when I was walking across the threshold, I stepped on a carpet tack with my bare feet. That seriously needs to be fixed.

Fix that, Circle S, and you'll be in good shape.

Arriving late tried to call several times. No answer mailbox full.
Arrived sign says out of office but not how to find person. Someone found her.
Couldn’t get door keys to take finally got one.
Another person wanted two rooms. We saw the guy go to the extra room and remove personal things then checked in the other people. No cleaning or covid sanitation.
Our room was big and spacious.
The beds comfortable.
Bathroom was dirty. The shower drain was horrid, sink had dried soap scum on it. And stuff stuck on faucet.
The edge of the carpet between the bath room and walk area was torn up. After staples catching my bare feet I put a towel down to cover it.
Our only bath towel for the two of us.
The bathroom toilet had to shake the handle to get it to stop running every time.
The air conditioning was on when we arrived which was nice. And it was quiet!
There is a Big Sign in the office NO REFUNDS so since we had been charged for our room before we got there. We stayed. Suggest that if you go here see the room before you pay.

Site said breakfast for 1 person, but all I was offered was coffee. That is not breakfast. If all you are going to offer is coffee, then don't put on the website that that you are offering breakfast.

Not like I was thought I was getting. Not a quaint small town look. Busted out window with shards of glass still hanging outside(thankfully it was a double window, glass by inside and another by outside which was busted) couldn't close bathroom door or I couldn't get in or out. Entry door you can't close all the way if you want to lock it. Staff couldn't find our booking at first even though they had already told me by email the room was ready the day before, tried to get us to stay at a different hotel in town, tried to get us to change rooms, said the floor might not be dry as they just shampood even though it was ready a day earlier, then told us the TV SHOULD turn on with the remote. No hot water to shower. The WORST beds and pillows. Can you say pain flare up? Overall, I wish we had gone to a different hotel but oh well. We stayed so you don't have to!

Bathroom smelled like the sewer, batteries were dead in the remote. I was told \" I'll go get some batteries for the remote\" never happened. Brought our blankets in and slept on top of the bed spread... Hey, if its the only place left to stay at... I would sleep in my car, !! Great value clean rooms

Great location, short staffed, but overall our stay was just as we expected for an economy Motel. Manager was very nice and accommodating to our needs, and rooms were older but clean. Rooms were spacious and quiet, cool and fridge and microwave were nice...

Cigarette burn holes in the bed spread.

The reserved room was not ready when we arrived at 7:00 p.m. Amy at the front desk was very cordial and tried to get a room ready. But the room was filthy...Filthy carpets, bathroom sink was covered in shaved whiskers, sheets covered with animal hair. The bathroom was so cramped, you had to sit on the toilet sideways. My mistake for not checking the room before I paid the non-refundable fee.

amy was great even though we had some confusion on the reservation. Mattress was good, hot water and water pressure in shower was awesome. lots of grass to walk the dog and there is a gas station next door. Very quiet. Only complaint was first room smelled strongly of smoke so moved to second room which was very very dirty and smelled like cat pee. Also the deadbolt didn't lock due to warped door and there was a big wet spot on floor.

Ether late than never!

She did not have a room for me when I arrived at 7:00 pm. She was overbooked; however, she was able to move someone and clean the room for me. I had around a hour wait time so left to have dinner. When I came back it was ready. She was very pleasant and apologetic. I’m not sure she read her Hotels.com reservation!

Don’t expect too much on this place. It’s outdated but having clean sheets and towels is all I need. Perfect for an overnight stay. The owner was very nice and a hard worker. She made sure we were comfortable and have everything we need. Thank you!
