One of our best stays in Upstate New York. The property is a quaint B&B and the view in the back is amazing. The hosts are warm, friendly and just good people who treat their guests like family. The breakfasts are freshly made, the conversations full of laughter and the coffee, their special blend is just the right fuel for the day. We will definitely be going back!

Wonderful B&B! We stayed in the Blue Room, which was large and comfortable. And the breakfasts were amazing. We never ate lunch till around 2 because we were so full from breakfast. Rebecca and Charles were very welcomimg and the property is lovely. Highly recommend.

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was lovely. AC worked great. A small tv and free WiFi . My only critique is the The bed was very very loud and creaky and definitely needs to be replaced but other than that, it was a lovely stay!

The grounds are beautiful and I was impressed with their solar array! My only regrets were that I was not able to enjoy the breakfast or stay for a longer period. Looking forward to a future visit!

Charles and Rebecca, our hosts, emailed pre-check in info. that was clear and very helpful. They're warm and gracious hosts who provide lovely accommodations, an excellent breakfast around a shared table, and a relaxed and welcoming ambience, in which you are able to meet and chat, with them and the other guests, if so desired. The grounds are lovely, with well-kept gardens porches, beautiful views, and an open invitation to guests to feel free to explore the property. Over the years, I've stayed in many B&B's, both in the US and abroad. Los Gatos is definitely among my Top 5, and I plan to make a return visit in the future.

If i had a complaint about my stay it would be the lack of control over my room temperature. I really like a cool room for sleeping and the room got very stuffy in the night. I also did not like the fact that breakfast was at 9 am no choice for earlier. On the good side the one breakfast i was there for was delicious and the couple running the B&B were great and overall a very nice stay. My \" complaints \" are more just suggestions for things to improve the stay.

We recently stayed for 5 days at Los Gatos in Penn Yan NY. Charles and Rebecca were such inviting hosts from the moment we arrived to when we departed. We stayed in the Grande Suite which was basically the entire second floor and had a large bedroom, separate sitting room, and private deck. Charles has composed a book of close-by dining options and is a wealth of knowledge for local attractions and wineries. Rebecca is an incredible chef and prepared a different sumptuous breakfast daily. The homemade jams, specially blended coffee, and grape juice only complete the experience.
Los Gatos is conveniently located not too far from wineries and attractions and provided a comfortable home base.
We would not hesitate to recommend Los Gatos to friends and plan on visiting again.
Charles and Rebecca truly make you feel like family.

The location is gorgeous. The view of the sprawling back yard is breathtaking at sunrise. There is so much to do nearby- the WindMill, wineries, restaurants, pumpkin farms, breweries, parks, sight seeing… The owners are wonderful people. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. Gave an appropriately thorough tour of the amenities and what space is open for use and how things operate. Always receptive to any need or question. The homemade breakfast complete with juice and jams made from the fruit grown in their yard! And of course fresh fruit in various preparations. Large servings of quiche, stuffed French toast, biscuits…Hands down the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere. Even the coffee they serve is delicious! We enjoyed our stay in the Grand Suite. Bed was incredibly comfy, quiet ceiling fan that works on all speeds, comfy chairs in sitting area, wonderful shower, good size mini fridge. Felt like home except we didn’t have to clean or cook! Met the other guests during breakfast and enjoyed their stories and hearing about local events they were planning to attend. We had no idea that staying here would be the blessing of what was already a fantastic trip. Can’t say enough about Charles & Rebecca and what they have created within and outside of the walls of this bed and breakfast. Truly a joy to spend time in their home, consuming their breakfasts and coffe, and enjoying their stories, kindness, local recommendations and their laughter. Can’t wait to return!

we got an bedroom in the main house -- but, next time we'd like to get the cozy cabin, just for the fun of it.

great access to many wineries, breweries, historical sites and many more around the finger lakes.

also close enough to watkins glen where there's all kinds of events throughout the year.

we selected a number of place to stay for the week (started out with a wedding in ithica) -- next time, we would just stay here the next time we come to this area.

Wonderful! Greeted by several acres of beautifully manicured lawn, a vegetable/fruit/flower garden worth the exploding. Grapes grown on property were processed and served up a glass of delicious grape juice for breakfast. We stayed in the grand suite which was very comfortable and charming. Charles and Rebecca were the best hosts. Rebecca’s breakfasts were amazing (homemade French toast walnut casserole (my husband is allergic to nuts and she made a completely separate dish for him, FYI) with potatoes, sausage and fresh squeezed grape juice one day- a delicious egg bake with homemade biscuits, house made jam, the other) and the couple couldn’t be more hospitable. There is a huge deck with so many seating areas and a fire pit. It was very relaxing and nice to come back in the evening with a bottle of
wine and enjoy the sunset.

This review is a warning to all potential customers that this B&B is not COVID-19 safe. The owners do not wear masks nor is hand sanitizers available. It is unclear what their cleaning practices are but as breakfast is prepared by someone without a mask, we opted out of it unfortunately. In these times during the pandemic it was more than shocking to have this experience, especially as I am newly pregnant with my first. Please be warned. We had no personal issues with the owners and the space was beautiful offering nice views. We enjoyed sitting outside under the gazebo. Charles is kind and friendly and other customers all seemed to be enjoying themselves. But given the circumstances we live in now and having lived through painful experiences in the epicenter of NYC, we didn’t want to take a risk and didn’t feel safe. It is truly unfortunate.

Los Gatos is the Cat’s Meow.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful property, great breakfast and very friendly hosts. We stayed in the blue room in the main house which was clean and comfy with keyless entry. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck, warmed by the gas fire pit. Los Gatos is in a great location of both Keuka and Seneca lakes and wine trails. Just 30 mins from Hammondsport, Geneva or Watkins Glen. Def. good value as compared to other B&B in the area. We plan to return!

My girlfriend and I stayed here with the lovely proprietors, Rebecca and Charlie. They have been rehabilitating this place since December 2019, I'm told. They are doing a stupendous job of it!

I really was hoping to get a cabin, because they are absolutely adorable, but they were booked solid, and we didn't even get a chance to see the inside of them because of that. We stayed in the blue room, and the finishing touches of the room were, shall we say, estately.

My girlfriend and I were apprehensive of staying at someone's house we didn't know, while they were there. Upon greeting us in their driveway, our concerns were alleviated wholly, and no one entered our room the whole stay.

We used their home as a base for wine tastings, a trip up to Niagara Falls one day, the Corning Museum (which I was NOT interested in, but ended up with a good balance of science/industrial as well as the artsy-fartsy stuff), and the Glen H Curtiss Aviation & Motorcycle Museum (which is much better than their website seems to portray). Food in the area didn't live up to our refined palates, but I'm blaming that wholly on the Covid restrictions...most wait staff were very new, and kitchens seemed overwhelmed, possibly with delivery orders....just like they are in Southern NJ right now.

If their warm hospitality, and first-class home-cooked, locally sourced breakfast fare are any indication of other Bed & Breakfasts, this will be my choice of accommodations!

A fantastic B&B!!!

Our stay was amazing...the B&B was perfect...Rebecca and Charles were amazing. The food was fantastic! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Los Gatos, an excellent getaway.

Sounds cliche, it was everything I hoped it would be and more. I enjoyed the rural setting, and yet it was close to the many activities I wanted to do. I stayed in one of the the cabins on the property and it was clean and extremely cozy. I sat on the deck in the morning and the evening, taking in the peaceful natural surroundings, and many gardens on the property. The hosts, Rebecca and Charles are very welcoming and kind people and made great recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and places to taste wine. My favorites were the Spotted Duck Creamery (local made custard from duck eggs) and Domaine LeSeurre (wine tasting). If you're a cyclist, I highly recommend a ride around, Lake Keuka. The breakfasts at the B&B were very good, and as I said earlier Charles and Rebecca are very easy going, and pleasant to converse with. This was my first trip to the Finger Lakes region ever, and I do plan to return to see and do other things. I will absolutely come back to Los Gatos!

Nice cabin and grounds

The cabin was very clean and well appointed. The hosts are friendly and provide hot homemade breakfast. The grounds are beautiful with lovely gardens. Breakfast room is small (single table.) Hosts need to be more mindful of COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing when several groups of guests are arriving for breakfast at the same time. We had to insist on sitting outdoors for breakfast after a place had been set up for us at the same table as another couple.

The owners are wonderful hosts and are also great stewards of their land. They power the whole B&B with solar and grow some of the food they cook and serve to guests. I would highly recommend Los Gatos.

Overall the place was excellent as Susan and Bernie did their best to welcome us into their home. The room we stayed in was great and clean. The backyard and the deck was beautiful on our last night my girlfriend and I relaxed by the fireplace drinking wine that we purchase at one of the wineries and they had a cute swing out on the grass as well that we hung out and watched the sun go down. The food was delicious and the homemade jellies and jams were awesome they had for sale their too and we purchased a few. They also provided advice on activities the Keuka trail Susan told me about was awesome just what I needed a little exercise that led to Seneca Falls.

Los Gatos Bed & Breakfast

We stayed in one of the cabins, it was very nice, the only thing to watch was limited hot water for the shower, Breakfast was fantastic, hosts are friendly and helpful. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

Susan and Burney, our warm and welcoming hosts, present a gourmet breakfast! Fresh eggs from their Rhode Island Red hens each morning can't be beat. Our hosts were very helpful in proving guidance and direction to interesting places in the area. We will definitely be back when we visit the Finger Lakes again.

Lovely escape

This B&B is a fabulous choice for an escape from city life. The owners, Burney and Sue, were outstanding hosts, offering great advice about area attractions and eateries. Their landscaping and grounds are beautiful to explore. The cabin was spotless and very comfortable; gourmet breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Wonderful and Scenic B&B

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Los Gatos B&B. The property and grounds are both impeccable and scenic! The hosts were not only accommodating and very informative on the area, but also they went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable. The breakfasts were divine and the presentation was beautiful. Would highly recommend Los Gatos!!
