We enjoyed our five-day stay very much. This is not our first time in Javea. We live this small Mediterranean coastal town and the Parador de Javea which is located right on the beach. The hotel is getting old, but it is in quite good shape and it is very clean. The restaurant is also very good and the staff very professional. We’ll return again for sure!

Beautiful gardens and pool with sea views.

We upgraded to a sea view room with balcony and it was well worth the extra 20 euros. Room was lovely, very relaxing and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and we were able to order hot food such as freshly cooked omelettes. Secure parking over the road from the hotel (extra cost). A very short walk to the bars and restaurants of Javea.

All the rooms face the sea and have balconies with comfortable chairs to sit on. They are very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing is a kettle to make tea/ coffee to have whilst appreciating the view. Beds are comfortable, there are double sinks in the bathroom and the shower is in the bath.
Check in was easy. There is paid parking just across the road.
Breakfast was good with a wide choice of everything except cereals. We had dinner there once and thought it expensive and a bit basic.

An Oasis in every sense of the word

An excellent hotel in every respect from it's location to the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The hotel sits within it's immaculate grounds facing south across the bay at Playa del Arenal about 1.5 miles from Javea town and the port. There is free parking available next to the hotel. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, a strong adherence to Covid regulations was also apparent throughout the hotel. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage space and a large sunny balcony with lovely views across the garden and bay beyond. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well as a result. The bathroom was spacious with twin hand basins and a separate loo, all in all a very comfortable and well equipped room. The only improvement I would call for would be for tea and coffee making facilities to be provided. Breakfast was served served in the dining room and on the terrace with an excellent choice of cooked to order or continental food available. The dining room staff were charming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Although the hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the port area there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity around the bay. We visited at the end of October and there was still a nice buzz in the evenings without being over-crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel. We look forward to staying again when we next visit this part of Spain.

We stayed for two nights in December, the hotel is set up for COVID prevention with sanitising stations throughout including in the bedrooms. The bedroom itself is of a decent size with comfy beds, a fridge and small safe (not big enough for a laptop). All the rooms have a great view of the Arenel, which is a great place to spend time. Would definitely recommend this hotel and Javea itself.

Lovely hotel and location. Unfortunately because of restrictions bar closes at 11.30am. No drinks in the room except cola and water. They could make money if they put some spirits in the bar. Fortunately we took a bottle of wine with us. No coffee facilities in the room which was disappointing

We last stayed at the Parador ineteen years ago.
It’s setting and garden are superb, the best position in the resort. All rooms have balconies overlooking the beach.
The hotel’s style and decor is a little tired, however enjoyed the crisp white sheets and decent sized towels!
This hotel is about to be refurbished, we will return once this has been completed.

This is agreat place to stay with quiet charm and great location by the sea. The rooms are quite wide. We elected not to take the car and the shuttle from ALC airport was accessible via the nearby bus stop. There is an outdoor pool and good for lounging; the hotel provides towel for the nearby beach. Just to menation that Raul and the afternoon/nigh-time managers were quite amazing how they turned around our stay after a not-so warm welcome -- making my birthday stay extra special with a surprise cava. Very happy customers and we cannot wait to come back next year!

The hotel is a bit tired. But in fairness it’s clean, breakfast was great and the pool in nice and relaxing over looking to beach.
The location is perfect as it’s a 2 min walk to the Arenal where there a kit of nice bars restaurants and shops! An absolutely beautiful place.

I also liked it as it was only an hour from alicante airport and wasn’t full of stag and hen doos. Only other British people were ex pats who live there now!!

Great location alongside beach and marina

Booked 3 rooms at Parador Javea for 3 couples as a 3 day stop gap before moving to a villa in Moraira, however, it soon became one of the unexpected highlights.

All rooms were more than adequate, especially my room 116 which was modernised with luxury fittings, king bed and balcony overlooking the hotel's romantic palm tree filled garden and cabaret area where we were delighted to enjoy a Jersey Boys tribute act. Beyond the hotel grounds the vista included Arenal marina, beach and promenade.

Breakfasts included an extensive buffet of delicious food and drink.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel and will ensure we include it on any future visit to the area.

Lovely room with sea view and balcony overlooking Arenal bay. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice and a lovely terrace overlooking the gardens. Although quite a way from Old Town and port area there is a bus stop just outside the hotel. Only negative point is that at times there was noise coming from the bars & restaurants around the bay, so location was not as quiet as we were expecting. Would stay there again.

The hotel is in a prime position in Javea and enjoys wonderful sea views, the staff were all very helpful and the hotel is very clean. Our only concern would be that the hotel is becoming a little tired and would benefit from being decorated and tidied, it would also be nice if there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but overall our stay was not upset by these details.

Older style sea-front property - but very good

The Parador is on a small peninsula which separates the more rugged and rocky beaches to the north from the more sandy beaches to the south. The location is fantastic offering a great view onto the back and sandy beaches.
We had one of the standard twin rooms which was excellent. The room was of a good size and had an outside balcony equipped with table and chairs with views onto the garden and beaches below.
There is a good size well maintained outdoor pool with the surrounding areas laid to grass and gardens (see photo).
Unfortunately during our stay the bbq restaurant was closed.
The breakfast experience was very good with a great selection of food and local cold-cuts on offer - perhaps a greater selection of local cheeses?
Parking is provided in a secure (gated) car park area across the road from the Parador - this is at a daily charge. There is limited parking outside of the Parador itself and pulling up to unload and load is permitted.
Nice Parador which we would definitely recommend to other planning to visit this region of Spain.

Fabulous hotel with prime position

Second visit staying in the hotel for a week - brilliant holiday. We hired a car but didn't need to as the only necessary journey was from airport and could have used bus/coach - location is just perfect. All staff were very courteous and polite - nothing too much trouble. Our balcony overlooked the Arenal beach so we enjoyed fabulous views.
Breakfast was a set price but was a buffet with slight variations each day so you could enjoy a 5 course breakfast if you wished and was served from 8-11 so we made it our brunch. Last morning we had to leave before 8 so at 7 the hotel had set up a breakfast selection just for us in the bar - bread, butter, preserves, croissant, pastries, fresh fruit (bananas, sharron, kiwi, fig), continental cheeses and meats, coffee and tea.
We enjoyed an opera evening which was a celebration of the anniversary of the 3 tenors concert - really excellent and held inside the hotel and the last weekend, a designer clothes market.
The pool and gardens are stunning and are right next to a canal where you can hire jet skis or take a boat trip. The beach is just the other side of the canal.
Large number of bars, restaurants and shops are right on the edge of the beach so the hotel is perfectly positioned for everything.
Cleanliness in the hotel was outstanding. Our sheets and towels were changed every day. The first day we were greeted with a welcome tray of water, grapes and marshmallows. The last day we received a bottle of liquor.

lovely position but average customer service

Such a perfect position in a lovely quiet resort. Unfortunately the hotel is a bit behind the times on customer service and some staff were uninterested in making our stay a '4 star experience'. They were very slow to serve and knew little about the area and its tourist features. There was almost nothing available in the hotel regarding local attractions and all the leaflets were for Benidorm 50 miles away. Other staff (restaurant and some on reception) were very nice so its a shame they were led down by their older or less friendly colleagues. We chose the hotel for its pool but it was not stated on the website or elsewhere that it was 'seasonal' and therefore not open until May. Food good and breakfasts generous.

It is the third time I am going to that parador in 2 years. The location is great, the view at night and the sunshine in the morning when you wake up is great I highly recommend it for that.

Their breakfast selection is awesome and I really appreciate that. For the dinner I had it but 2 years ago and was not impressed so if they change it for the better I would enjoy it.

Overall great place to stay but they need to upgrade their room for the 21st century, but I stayed there 3 times and I will always recommend it.

A really nice traditional Parador, facing the whole of Javea's bay, magical via at night time one a full moon Rooms clean and balcony enhances your stay. The team is responsive and always willing to help. Wifi works - which is great. Breakfast is great and powers up the start of your day. I have stayed in the Paradores many times, in fact well over 10 times. The hotel is great for my business meetings, its close proximity to the Arenal and its great selection of restaurants. the hotel has good wifi and comfortable beds, these being my 2 main priorities when traveling for work. staff are always very helpful and friendly and if I ever come here on holiday, I would definitely be staying here!!!

Well run hotel in a great location

This is our second visit to the Parador as we love the location right next to the Arenal with it's many restaurants, cafes and bars. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean, with a large balcony and sea views. The staff are pleasant and helpful, particularly the blonde lady on Reception who always has a smile on her face. The only drawbacks (which I pointed out the last time I reviewed this hotel) is the fact that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the only English speaking television programme is BBC World which is on a constantly repeating loop. Surely it wouldn't be difficult for a large hotel to add more English speaking channels?? These observations would not deter us from visiting the Parador again, but it would definitely make our stay more enjoyable and would be a big plus for parents with young children who are not able to leave the hotel in the evening. I don't know whether the Parador has changed it's mattresses recently but we did find them a little hard this time - perhaps an option would be to offer a \"topper\". Despite the above I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and hope that these remarks are taken in the spirit in which they are intended.

Great value 5 star

We stayed out of season so rates much better than high. Great location all rooms have sea view and balcony
