Staff at check in were very friendly and efficient.

Room was a little tired and small for a family space but clean.

Pool is very busy with lots of families, good facilities for kids.

Gym is very basic

There is an electric car charger and car park.

Walkable to beach and marina.

We didnt eat dinner but breakfast was ok, average variety and quality, it was very busy at 10am.

My only significant gripe was the room was noisy at 11:30 with entertainment downstairs.

However we would stay again.

Clean . great location. lovely not expensive place.
I really loved it. But people in the front desk very not friendly. If you ask them for anything , they never do anything about it. Sorry to say it, but they just LYING that they will help you, but they never do. They should take classes on how to be more polite and attentive to the costumers. But i liked hotel very much.

Lovely hotel, warm welcome at reception, checked in quite quickly, large room nice & clean good view of the sea, staff mainly very good, bar staff very entertaining but need to concentrate on what people order & cut down on tricks, restaurant very good one one of the best hotel buffet's we've visited, good choice & the food was warm, overall a lovely stay, be it only for 2 nights, will try to come back for a longer stay.

Good hotel worth the money

Nice hotel very close to the beach ( which has a beach bar)
Also close to the marina jetty which has 2 eateries on a good prices ( with happy hour on cocktails (6-8pm)
We were on bead and breakfast so cannot comment on lunch/ evening meal but breakfast (buffet style) was really good with tons of choice
The outdoor pool area is very nice with lots of loungers
Also has an indoor pool and a children’s play area with lots of things for kids to use
The evening entertainment is more for older people eg line dancing music when we were there
Overall really good value for the money
We had a car and found free parking very near the hotel but hotel does have parking but you have to pay ask for a sea/ pool view

Lovely hotel very welcoming by reception staff. Room was absolutely spotless and clean. Bed was a little hard for me as a memory foam bed. Could have done with another pillow and didn’t realise that more were available if we asked. Didn’t really fancy the dinner on offer so went out for dinner. Breakfast was amazing though and plentiful with a great selection of hot food pastries fruit cereal and yogurt. The barman was a little abrupt and rude and all was doing was trying to pay for a coffee. Other than that had a very pleasant stay.

Very hot room

The reason for my low review is that the room was so hot that we couldn’t sleep. Tried to call reception- no answer. Went to reception directly, they then sent a mechanic only to tell us that the temperature is central and cannot be changed. Had to open the balcony door and put up with noise from outside.
Entry to breakfast took 15 minutes waiting to be shown to a table. No other hotel does that at breakfast time and it unnecessarily prolongs the wait.

The morning coffee machine is awful so sweet it tastes like a mixture of coffee chocolate with condensed milk. Would go back but just room only

I have stayed at this hotel three times in as many years. It is very convenient and has a fairly secure place to park my car. The breakfast is good. I have not had other meals there. The pool looks inviting but I have been a bit too busy to use it. I would definitely use this hotel again - especially when touring in my own car.

Great hotel in a superb location. Easy walk into Denia. Breakfast was outstanding and the quality of the food was excellent. The staff were helpful and easy going. The room was spotless. Easy parking all around the hotel.
My only complaint was about the gym. Previous users had left equipment lying all over the floor. The machines weren't clean and there were mo facilities to clean the machines prior or after use. Also required - a notice to warn users of the risk of exercise (a disclaimer) and to tidy up the equipment they had used.
But then most guests don't use the gym!

One of the few times a hotel is better than expectations. The reviews were good before we arrived so expecting a good experience but literally could fault the hotel. Staff are friendly, pool clean, bedrooms clean breakfast was nice.. just all round a good hotel. Only down side, and it’s not a hotel issue, is it’s a walking distance to main Denia, around 0.5-1 mile walk.. fine on way out but a bit more messy after some cocktails and tapas. We would stay again, more of a quiet hotel but fine.

On the flat for taking a stroll up the coast or past the marina to the centre of town (15 min). Pool area very sunny for most of the day. 10 min walk to tram station for days out to Calpe or Benidorm (cheap). Noisy resturant.

Well worth a stay

Was a bit worried reading some of the reviews, but our room was spotlessly clean. The staff were all pleasant & polite. The food was amazing, so much choice. The only negative I would agree is the walls seem a bit thin, and if you get someone inconsiderate next door, with their tv on loud or talking loudly at night, it will disturb you. Poolside view gives you a sea view, we were top floor no 7 the view was amazing.

Amazing experience, great facilities, fridge but no coffee making facilities in room, nice location near the port. Friendly staff and nice view from 8th floor overlooking the pool.
Nice breakfast selection of continental and cooked. Nice pastries.

Great Location and value.

The Hotel has excellent facilities attentive and friendly staff ,with a high level of cleanliness. The food was excellent and plenty of choices. The Restaurant was extremely busy making it quite noisy at times with staff clearing tables. I did not like the fact that only bottled water was available in the evening. It seems wasteful and expensive way of drinking water. The Hotel is also undergoing repairs to balconies and the Hotel certainly needs updating in certain areas. Overall though, very positive experience

Most of the external entertainers that came in were quite poor. Could also do with some more toilets around the pool area. However, we really enjoyed our stay!

Stayed recently with a party of 15 people. At least 6 people had items/money stolen from their rooms. Only the cleaners can enter and the hotel refused to acknowledge it. Beware of booking here

They did however decide to do maintenance work on the external of the building - loud works and prevention of access to the pool area.

Also - requested a late check-out, to be told it's not available but when my wife asked it was all ok..

Still good, but not like the old times.

It is not so good as it used to be but that is quite possibly caused by covid, the restrictions and measures that have to be in place and the way the hotel responds to the measures. Our main disappointment now is the food, it was always something extra spacial that made it stand out from the crowd and the reason why over the years we have been over 20 times. Now it is just another par for the course hotel - Nothing wrong with that, we still like it and will go back (especially after covid, should that day ever arrive), but I think we will spend \"Special\" occasions somewhere else and save the Port Denia for quick breaks from now on.

The hotel is well situated near the Marina and not too far from the town centre. Plenty of choice from the breakfast buffet and if you're not half board or all inclusive the dinner buffet is only 12.50 euros per person. Plenty of choice but vegetarians beware, whilst there is a comprehensive list of the lunch and dinner buffet menu, and the vegetarian options are marked, some of the \"vegetarian\" options contain fish! There are no labels near the food items either to indicate what they contain, meat, fish, gluten, dairy etc. This would be useful. Rooms at the front of the hotel are larger, rooms at the rear of the hotel are slightly smaller but have a balcony. One other negative aspect for us was that our room, first floor and to the left, over the bar area was subject to noise pollution nightly from the entertainment. This continues until 12am! It wasn't any quieter on floor 4 in a balcony room-we had relatives staying at the same time who said they too found the noise level quite disruptive. Of course if you're enjoying the entertainment then the noise won't be a problem! The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive, they dealt with anymissues or queries promptly.

Another great time had.

I love this hotel and have stayed well over a dozen times. The staff are fantastic, there's always a wide choice of food and the cleanliness is spot on. The hotel group has recently changed and the Port Denia is in line for a refurb which to be honest is over due. It is starting to look and feel tired since it's last refurb about 20 years ago but for me that does not take away from the overall experience.

A large, tired hotel which is ready for an update. Rooms are clean and not a bad size. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is plentiful but not to a great standard. Croissants, bread, were not fresh and tea/coffee from machines (all that is available) is undrinkable. It's clean and warm but you wouldn't want to pay to much to stay there, there are better hotels in Denia for not much more money

We spent 2 nights at this Hotel. Saga customers do make up a large number of guests. The hotel was very clean and the food was good.... Not spectacular... But good when they are catering for large numbers. The bar had fair prices and the indoor pool could do with being a bit warmer. We wouldn't think twice about going back.

One night stay ouch the way south

The restaurant was way to noisy for a comfort level for a dinner( eat out ) the food was like 3 of 5 .. felt more then a factory for people to eat then a restaurant for a family dinner. We just spent one night there and we says that we would NOT came back for stay there and pay for the food. I think I would be ok to sleep there and eat out.

Rent værelse, p-pladser optaget men kunne holde i sidegader derfra. Morgenmad med ok udvalg men lav kvalitet brød. Frokost var højdepunktet af alle måltider, aftensmad uden smag. Alt i alt vurderes maden som stor-kantine mad. En masse støj i spisesalen også dette forekom som stor-kantine. Pool-område ganske fint til børn. Elevatorers godkendelse udløbet september 2024 (nu har vi april 2025). Musik og larm fra underholdning og hosliggende værelser høres på 4. Sal sen aften. Vi kommer desværre ikke igen.

Ideal para un finde en Denia

Tiene lo básico que se necesita para un finde. Nos gustó que incluyese el desayuno, que aunque es un poco simple, tiene lo típico. La habitación estaba bien, el baño también y limpios. Echamos en falta algún cojín o almohada para apoyarse. más
Nos gustó que tuviese terraza.
En general, repetiríamos. De hecho, es la tercera vez que venimos!
