Perfect, relaxing break!
Beautiful hotel with wonderful facilities. If you’re looking for a very relaxed break, especially if you’re a couple who likes golf, this hotel is perfect. Breakfast has every type of food you can imagine, dinner is each restaurant is great and you have all the facilities you need. The hotel is about a 15 min drive from the town but if you’re looking to just switch off and relax, this is perfect.

The property was great. Rooms were very comfortable. The gym and pool first rate. The negative is the food. Especially the so called Thai restaurant. The food was expensive and quite frankly awful! Lots of effort making it fancy no effort making it taste like Thai food or even good fusion food. We also ate in the Pub. The place is soulless and the food bland and disappointing. The breakfasts were first rate however. Felt ripped off by the food - otherwise satisfied by the facilities. Cheers .

2 Night stay with family. La Sella is a lovely hotel but now is a little dated. Rooms are large with comfy beds and very clean. Montgo restaurant is good for breakfast, we also enjoyed steak night. Thai restaurant was shut as was the outside pool bar. There is nothing within the vicinity of the hotel, nearest towns are Javea or Denia. This hotel is best suited for guests wishing to make use of the golf course and spa.

My fifth stay here whilst visiting friends in Denia. A smart hotel in a great, peaceful location. The staff, without exception, are friendly, courteous, professional and efficient. The buffet breakfast will set you up for the day. Dining options are all very good. Recommended.

From the glass of bubbly on arrival to the attentive staff in all areas of the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. We needed a wheelchair accessible room and they worked hard to meet our needs - and were keen to hear how they could improve the experience for wheelchair users. There was a hoist to get in and out of the pool, and everything worked well. They changed the bed to one that was the same height as the wheelchair, and listened to our suggestions for the bathroom. Lovely place, relaxing, peaceful, and a real mix of nationalities - and golf is not a requirement! We don't play golf but we felt welcome and there was plenty to do.

The Staff Make The Difference
I just had 6 nights at the Marriott in Denia. Great location and facilities. 2 great restaurants with interesting menus if you choose to dine in. Most noticeable to me was the warmth, welcoming and positive friendly attitude of the staff. From the minute I arrived, through reception, the energetic porter, the staff in the restaurants, by the pool in the spa and cleaning the rooms......everyone seemed happy to help and to look after their guests. I would certainly recommend a visit.

This is our 5th stay at La Sella and as always it has lived up to expectation.
The staff are amazing, organising taxi transfers to and from the airport, our car hire whilst in Spain and as always, nothing is too much trouble.
Rooms great, very good food and good facilities.
If I was being really picky and when comparing previous stays, the beds were not as comfortable, very hard
and I also didn't like the coffee machines at breakfast. These are really not major issues and I would recommend without hesitation this hotel. We will be returning next Summer.

Hard to fault this beautifully-appointed and comfortable hotel. Unusual not to have a full-length mirror in a luxurious room. Breakfast room was overwhelmed by full occupancy. When wifi was too weak in our room they immediately installed a booster, which tells you the attitude to service.

Management should think hard....give a little heat to that pool...

THIS STAY WAS FAR BETTER THAN OUR EXPERIENCE LAST SEPTEMBER WHICH WAS NOT SATISFACTORY.
THE STAFF WERE OBLIGING AND HELPFUL. OUT OF SEASON THIS HOTEL IS MOST PLEASANT. HOWEVER THERE WERE MANY PARTIES OF GOLFERS USING THE FACILITIES WHO WOULD GATHER TOGETHER AND AT TIMES THE FOYER WAS VERY CROWDED AND NOISY AND IT PROVED IMPOSSIBLE TO SIT DOWN FOR DRINKS ETC. PERHAPS THE HOTEL SHOULD LOOK AT THIS AND PROVIDE OTHER ROOMS FOR SUCH PARTIES TO MEET AS IT DOES IMPACT ON THE ENJOYMENT OF OTHER GUESTS WHEN THE LOBBY IS SO FULL! SOMETHING FOR THE MARRIOTT TO THINK ABOUT?

THIS STAY WAS FAR BETTER THAN OUR EXPERIENCE LAST SEPTEMBER WHICH WAS NOT SATISFACTORY.
THE STAFF WERE OBLIGING AND HELPFUL. OUT OF SEASON THIS HOTEL IS MOST PLEASANT. HOWEVER THERE WERE MANY PARTIES OF GOLFERS USING THE FACILITIES WHO WOULD GATHER TOGETHER AND AT TIMES THE FOYER WAS VERY CROWDED AND NOISY AND IT PROVED IMPOSSIBLE TO SIT DOWN FOR DRINKS ETC. PERHAPS THE HOTEL SHOULD LOOK AT THIS AND PROVIDE OTHER ROOMS FOR SUCH PARTIES TO MEET AS IT DOES IMPACT ON THE ENJOYMENT OF OTHER GUESTS WHEN THE LOBBY IS SO FULL! SOMETHING FOR THE MARRIOTT TO THINK ABOUT?

We are two senior ladies who where looking for a good hotel with a golf course close by.
The Denia Marriott came up to all our expectations and we enjoyed reduced golf and buggy rates on La Sella golf course. The hotel booked our requested tee times in advance.
We could not fault the service all the hotel staff gave us. We enjoyed the relaxed outdoor dining.

Amazing pool and cocktails
We separated our trip into three parts, staying in valencia for one night, denia for three nights and back to valencia for five nights. This was the best decision we made as our stay in denia at this hotel was so relaxing. Although we were a 15€ trip in a taxi to town! You should think about hiring a car as this can become expensive.
We only stayed and ate at the hotel for lunch by the pool, this was good but nothing really to rave about for a five star hotel. The cocktails however are something to rave about, the mojitos and margaritas were amazing!!
We would definitely recommend this hotel to couples as it is quiet, the age range did seem a lot older but this was not a problem.

Last minute booking. The hotel is geared towards golfers with the only other facilities being a slightly outdated spa, basic gym and pool.

A great hotel, with really excellent facilities. We had the breakfast included which was absolutely wonderful. pool area was great especially the cold pool to really cool off. We booked a suite which is where we experienced a couple of downsides. The outside temperature was 34 degrees and the air-conditioning was just not up to the task. our room was permanently hot. also the mini bar fridge didn't work so we couldn't keep our drinks cold, and the beds are pretty hard. However overall we have a really great stay and would return.

Just a one night stay
Staff were lovely, very nice touch to be offered Cava or Orange Juice as we booked in. No real complaints except the bed was slightly hard, but not uncomfortable, and bizarrely there was an iron and an ironing board but no hair dryer, at least not one we could find!! Also we were there for a Charity Function which did rather run over time wise and once the meal was completed there were no on going bar facilities in the downstairs function room so most people drifted away and didn't really get the enjoyment of the entertainment which had been provided.

Good quality hotel in very convenient proximity of Denia (10 min drive). Set in extensive grounds of golf course with very nice pool area. Rooms are large, clean and well furnished. Well equipped gym is free for guests, sauna is €20 for 90 mins. Wifi is good in public areas but virtually unusable in rooms. The only let-down is the main restaurant - which is distinctly average, with breakfast especially well below par for a 5 star hotel.

Hotel is fairly easy to find as the golf course is sign posted. The hotel it's self is good and the staff are attentive, most speak english. Our room was reasonable but the security lock on the door was broken and the wardrobe doors did not close easily. The carpet was stained in one place and was faded badly, it was noticable because a strip of carpet had been replaced. The restaurant was a little expensive and the food was only average( only one restaurant was open the others were closed because we were out of season) Breakfast choice was good and was buffet style(when we booked we booked breakfast inclusive, but were denied the first morning. Had to show my booking form to the reception to get it sorted. I notice that the current booking does not include breakfast. There are pleanty of very good resaurants close by and after the first night we went else where.

Very nice facilities in a convenient location for touring the area by car. Long way from town and other bars and restaurants if you don't have your own wheels. Excellent breakfasts. Golf course looked good even though we don't play golf. Hope to come back one day and climb the Sella Montgo mountain ridge behind the hotel when the weather is cooler.
