We have stayed at this hotel more than once. We like how close it is to canal park. We like that we can walk to restaurants and shops. In the times we have stayed everything is generally in order and clean. Never have had an issue with staff or our room, however If i were to make one small complaint, room 112 is too close to the kitchen and very loud. The pipes in the walls made howling noises and we could hear all sorts of flushing noises in the AM and PM. Other than that this hotel is very good.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge Inn. This was our first time staying there and was very impressed with the friendly hospitality and cleanliness. We loved how close to the boardwalk it was and the view out of our window. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the entire staff. Will definitely stay there again. Well worth the price paid.

Can't best this view!! Room faces Lake Superior. You can walk out of the hotel and right onto the walking path along the lake shore. Room was very large and clean. Even though we were on a hall with a hockey team, we didn't hear any noise! Very restful and quiet. Enjoyed 2 hot tubs, so they didn't seem crowded. Like breakfast with variety.

The whole experience was phoenominal EXCEPT for when we arrived, because of the falling & blowing snow, it was difficult to manuever my electric wheelchair up the ramp. In the morning, the snow was off the ramp, but the parking lot was still pretty rough. And we didnt leave until 12 noon. But the staff was EXCELLANT, the property was beautiful, etc. Great place.

There were so many options: scrambled eggs, sausage links, baked egg/hashbrown cups, breakfast potatoes, waffles, pancakes, multiple cereals, donuts, bagels, hard boiled eggs, great coffee, juices, and much more! The view out toward the lake from the breakfast area is amazing and so beautiful. The hotel itself was very clean and cozy feeling. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We requested a pack and play, extra pillows and blanket and all were brought to us immediately upon request. We love the pool area and the fact that there are two hot tubs! My kids all swam until 10pm when the pool closed for kids, but adults could continue to use the pool/hot tub until midnight. We have stayed here twice now in the last few years and we’ve had a 10/10 experience both times. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! Love this area of Duluth. Has the cutest shops within walking distance. Hotel staff is prompt and friendly. Love that the pool stays open until midnight for adults only from 10pm-12am. Room was clean and a comfortable temperature upon arrival. Stocked with plenty of towels. Would stay again in the future!

The noise. The walls had absolutely no sound deadening and I could hear a whisper from the room next door. Further, there was some tween girls group there and these girls were running around the hallways yelling and singing and stomping their feet, slamming doors. The hotel didn't bother to put me in a room far from this group but right in the midst of it. I left a night early because it was so bad and they didn't even offer to give me a credit on my account for not staying a second night or anything. The front desk attendance just said, \"We'll check you out, have a good night.\" In 30 years of staying in hotels for business or pleasure, this was the single loudest and noisiest hotel I have ever tried to stay at. I would never recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful respite on Lake Superior.
