Decent enough place for a short stay. Staff very friendly, and the room very clean. It was very hot when I stayed. Car parking is expensive - especially considering you can park on the road outside for free.

I was charged an additional £10 a night fee for parking which I don’t believe was disclosed before booking.
I had a deluxe room and when getting to my room the bed was a mess, and the bin full of rubbish. The previous occupants paperwork was also still on the table. It was evident the room had not been cleaned and the bedding not changed.

I could not stay in the hotel and booked elsewhere.

For what we paid and needed it for this was fine. And we got an upgraded room and early check in. Breakfast really good too. So thanks.
You don’t need to spend a lot of money to make it more appealing though. Pick up rubbish/ beer cans outside. Maybe put some hanging baskets and pots of flowers out. And clean the doors. The door in our room was filthy? There was a dead plant and empty pots in dining room - why?
Not complaining- just feedback. Thanks though for a pleasant stay.

The hotel staff were very helpful, the breakfasts were amazing and the property very well maintained, the bath/shower was a challenge, the screen was fixed and it was hard to adjust the taps and stay dry, or be frozen by cold water until it warmed it needs looking at.

The hotel itself is okay. Rather dated decor but clean and comfortable. What was disappointing is that the carpark is £10 per night which is very expensive for the area. Also the hotel information card states that breakfast is served from 7:00 till 9:00. I got to the restaurant at 7:30 and was asked to leave and come back at 8 as that's when they will serve breakfast. There are definitely better options in the area so won't be visiting again.

Do not stay here. The hotel owner provides no information as to the £10 per day car park charge until you arrive. Car parking is a must for my business travel. The staff seem generally unhelpful. The carpets in the room were filthy and the towels simply stank. Note there are no drink (tea/coffee) facilities in the room.

Room was ok apart from the shower could only be set to scolding hot. Breakfast was fairly scant and I felt like somewhat of an inconvenience to the lady serving. Charged £10 parking but could not provide a VAT receipt for this.

Starting with the positives this hotel is in a good location, good breakfast and friendly staff and I fully recommend the Gurkha restaurant next to this hotel.

Unfortunately this hotel is let severely down by a he condition of the property which was extremely dated throughout.

This was then exacerbated by rips in the curtains, the toilet seat was broken and to complete the trinity the shower head was hanging by a thread from the ceiling. As I am 6’ 4’’ this made showering difficult to say the least.

Could be great but let down by the lack of investment in the property!

The location of the hotel was ideal for my needs and parking easy. The staff at front desk and in the breakfast area were extremely supportive , courteous and helpful. It's cheap, that's it.

The Hotel is really dated i.e. Yale key lock and big fob. We had a superior double but hard to see what was superior about it. One room and a separate bathroom with a door that didn't close properly and had no lock. The bathroom was really small with a shower over the bath. They do give you a paper bath mat to stop you slipping in the bath.
The tea and coffee tray and kettle was in the wardrobe! But when you took it out there was nowhere to put it! So had to boil the kettle on the floor! The double bed was small and hard. The breakfast was OK with full English or continental choices, tea, coffee and juices.
Having said all that we only paid £59 for one nights B&B for both of us so can't really complain. There's a nice pub up the road, a Couple of restaurants and a mini market next door

Great value for the location

As a traditional style, family run hotel you get what you pay for.
Positives : great friendly staff team, good breakfast, free parking, clean room, good heating, right by Farnborough airport, excellent value relative to other local options, places to eat in evening within a 2 minute walk.
Less good: room was starting to look a bit battered both furniture and walls (and not quite the boutique hotel impression from the room photos), nowhere to plug in mobile near bed, very narrow bathroom, getting shower to correct temp required the same sense of balance as tightrope walking, breakfast room carpet needs ripping up asap and replace with hard flooring (NB: if running a bath don't put hot water in first, you cant reach the taps past the shower screen with being in the bath and the hot water is scalding temperature).
Overall, ideal for a short business stay or as an overnight stop and would certainly revisit, you are getting great value for the price you are paying.

The whole process was easy. The room was really beautifully decorated. The staff made sure everything was right and were always available at the desk. The breakfast was freshly cooked for us which was a nice change. You choose between full wnglish and continental. You need to leave the key at reception if you're going out and have to call a number if you come back after midnight. That wasn't a problem for us because we were in bed by 10.30am.

This hotel was a bit tired, the walk to our room up some stairs was a bit musty smelling, if it can’t be got rid of, it just needs a fresh smelling spray put about, a bit more welcoming, the room was a wow, when I first walked in as the bed looked amazing, but some of the light bulbs are missing & a couple of lamp covers as well, the wardrobe is very dark inside, as it is black & the light in front of it is inadequate, you can’t open the left hand door fully, as the main door hinge at the top is in the way, only one clothes hanger supplied, I would have preferred to know so I could bring my own, no hair dryer either, hadn’t realised before hand, on a good note the room & bathroom were clean, only bit of dirt was an awkward area on the shower sliding door, not too bad though, the whole place was lovely & warm & the breakfast was tasty & well presented, all staff interaction was friendly xx

Ideal location if you want to go to the international centre as it’s around the corner, brilliant access for Sainsbury’s and the local pubs are brilliant food. The host Are very friendly and accommodating couldn’t fault them . Room was small but adequate for what we needed the only downside was the shower… As it was not a very powerful, we couldn’t figure it out so we just didn’t bother using it.

All excellent and so good we booked an additional night! Best points:
1. Staff are lovely, helpful, accommodating.
2. Hotel, it’s nicely done and feels homely and very nicely decorated. Also everything looks very clean.
3. Nice view of the airplane / aviation museum opposite.
4. Quiet (with the windows closed)
5. A very important one, a fan is in the wardrobe which is an excellent idea. It saves you having to ask for one or simply not bothering.
6. Rooms are well laid out and logical, good use of space.
7. Comfortable bed!
Only 2 minor negatives are the shower in the room, it does take a while to get hot water. As it was only the 1 night in that room it wasn’t too much of an issue. The other is tea, we both love our tea and I would say a different brand would be a very good idea.
All in all an amazing stay made even better by the friendly staff / owners.

This property is situated on a busy main road and under the flight path of Farnborough Airport. The aeroplane noise didn’t bother us much as we live next to an RAF base and it was only crossing the busy road that was a slight issue when visiting the only pub within walking distance. This pub we visited twice on our two night stay as the “Hotel” didn’t have a restaurant for lunchtime or evening meals. The only other ‘eatery’ was an Indian restaurant of which we aren’t that keen. The hotel itself is in need of severe updating and redecoration. The bed in our bedroom although comfortable enough had what looked like a counter pane under the bottom sheet acting as a mattress protector and not the usual white quilted variety used as standard practice. The carpet where the wastebin was situated had been stained with splatters of tea from used teabags. The windows and general cleanliness of the room was below what we would have expected. The staff were polite but I wouldn’t say welcoming! Our stay at this hotel was disappointing overall.

Exactly what we needed

The Falcon was an ideal base for a night away when visiting friends. The price was good and our room was comfortable and clean.
The breakfast was ok and there is some parking.

I have stayed in this hotel before, many years ago. It is an old hotel but the room was well decorated and the bed comfortable. This is the kind of hotel that knows it market and fulfils that markets requirements. I had the full English breakfast and the food was of good quality and just enough so that I didn't feel stuffed. I stayed there primarily because of the price, but also because it is close to a good pub and restaurants, so meant meeting up with friends easy. I will be going back there again

The most important thing to us was the bathroom and I sorry to say it was not up to standard
The water was not hot enough for a shower and the toilet area was very tight fit and difficult to turn around and we are average size
Having said that the lady in charge was very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was excellent and the bed was clean and comfortable
We will be going again one day soon

Did not have high expectations being quite old and next to an airport (hey, it's Farnborough) but was surprisingly good (and our room away from the main road was relatively quiet; slept well). Also, always found a hotel-related) parking spot. The staff were very helpful (a little inconsistent with replacing daily room items but responsive when followed-up) and plenty of smiles/good mornings and evenings. The breakfast area was open and bright and the breakfast offerings themselves, while limited to two options, was pretty good (timely and hot, although an option for another round of toast would have been appreciated).

It was in a convenient place for us to visit friends. The hotel was very clean, and our room was a nice size, it was good to have a kettle with tea etc provided. I would just suggest a small table be provided next to the dressing table to put the tray on. Breakfast dining room was bright and clean and the food was good. We definitely would stay there again.

The hotel was convenient for our purposes (a one night stay-over for a nearby family celebration), and Sachin, the manager, was very pleasant and helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. The beds and rooms were comfortable and adequate for our purposes if a little dated. There was no blind on the bathroom window in our room and it smelt of stale smoke, as did one of our other rooms. Breakfast was very nice and took place in a large, airy and pleasantly decorated room. Overall, it was reasonable value for money.
