Staff was helpful and flexible— we were planning to drop luggage off at the front desk in the morning of our arrival but the room was ready and they let us leave our luggage in our room. Hotel isn’t typical, you have to go upstairs in what looks like an apartment building and thru a door to get to the front desk. The room was dated but clean, the shower is tiny, no tub, some fixtures rusted or worn, and there were no nice touches or complimentary soaps/lotions, but the price was competitive for a room with three beds for 2 adults and 2 little kids on a family trip. I’m happy with our stay. Also walking distance (even when heavily burdened in the predawn dark) to the coach bus shuttle to fiumicino.

All were good except there is no direct reach to hotel by car. It’s on the beach and we have to park 3 narrow streets before hotel and have to take shuttle. Moreover we have to wait in queue for the shuttle and there is one car as a shuttle service

Note that in order to use the AC, you will need pay an extra 10 euros. Luckily we did not need it as the weather was nice/ The furniture is a bit old but functional. We stayed in hotel Adriatic for four nights last month. The hotel is super close to Vatican but further from central Rome - still walkable, though. The quadruple room was tiny but functional. Air conditioner for EXTRA 10 euro - that on top of the exorbitant price of the room per night - left a sour aftertaste. No breakfast - which the staff just wave off as, oh, there's a cafe 100 meters away. Well, yes, but I also just paid hundreds of euros per night per this room. There is a grocery store even closer, which is good - not really for breakfast, but great for evening snacks. There is a big terrace on one of the floors of the building (it's like an apartment building with hotel rooms spread out among other apartments) with tables and chairs - nice to sit in the evening. Overall, not the greatest value given off-centre location and lack of breakfast and a/c.

Great position to those wishing to explore the Vatican and Rome with an easy walk to St Peter’s and public transport right outside the door. Contrary to property description. Airconditioning is not complimentary and incurs an additional fee of €10.00 per day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The place was great for the money highly recommend it it wasn't a great location also. One caveat Read the fine print the place does have air conditioning but they charge 10 Euros a day. It's not a bad fee and it's not a fee that should make you change your mind this is an excellent place it is in the fine print pay attention to the fine print. Other than that I loved the place I would go back. They didn't have a refrigerator a microwave or a safe none of which are all that important but they would have been nice. So if this is something you require keep it in mind again for the price I would go back in a heartbeat it was very clean I really enjoyed the neighborhood and the staff was excellent

The property is in a really great central location, with multiple signs to guide you to the front door. Great value for the money. AC available for 10 Euro per night was great! The only thing we disliked is that there was no „self-check-in” option. Make sure to arrive before 10pm and to let the reception know!

Starting off the walls were very dirty which made it feel unclean in general. The air conditioning appeares in Expedia but it does not say in bold that you have to pay 10 euros which should be an important thing. The WiFi did not reach the room but it did work but only in the hallway . We were in the room all the way down the hall to the left and the moment we went inside the WiFi would shut off.

I am disappointed with you Expedia because offer me Air condinitioning when I reserved and when I get to the Hotel Adriatic charge 10 euros per day for this. And also disappointed that check-in has to be before 8 pm in a tourist place where most of the people come out of the country with late airlines.

This hotel was in a great area. 10-15m to the Vatican. Our shuttle from the airport dropped us off close by. MondiCaffe is across the street which is a great place tp people watch and get a nibble/bubbles. We also found a rooftop restaurant near by which was fun!

The parking situation is horrible though; you can count yourself lucky if you find anything near the hotel—parking on the side of the main roads is difficult. We had to park our car 700 meters away, but luckily, the car was untouched. The hotel room itself is quite run-down and old, with a strange smell. The blankets also smelled. Air conditioner use has to be paid for, which I have never seen or heard of before. A pricey stay overall, considering the lack of amenities, but the great location makes up for it.

We chose Hotel Adriatic due to the reviews and price point. We booked the hotel for 3 nights and stayed on the 4th floor. The staff was friendly with information regarding local food and bus questions. We felt, however that the room was very mediocre for the price. Toilet seat was missing a screw (another room was suggested which we looked at but had the same issue). Door to the “balcony” and entrance door was poor quality in opening and closing. The lack of cleanliness was also obvious throughout bathroom floor shower, and walls. Hair dryer was broken (although one was then provided from front end) also electrical outlet in bathroom was lose The mattress and pillow was comfortable.

It is a two-star hotel with a great location to the Vatican (eight minute walk) and restaurants. The walk to the nearest metro station was 11 minutes. It had plenty of hot water to shower but we never could figure out the heating system. It never got cold in our room but having it warmer would have been nice. The toiletries are kept to a minimum so make sure to bring your own, like soap. If you want housekeeping, you'll have to request it the day before. The hotel felt safe and the staff was friendly. One great perk was being able to store our luggage there while we went to Venice. That was extremely helpful.

Very happy with the room. Was close to Castel Sant'Angelo and Vatican City. Staff were very friendly. One thing - I had asked a member of staff to book a taxi for us going back to airport on 3rd October, but taxi didn't show up (however, I trust the taxi was booked). In the end, had to pay a whopping amount on an Uber taxi to get to airport on time.

We were there to experience to city and needed a bed, shower and washroom and it had all these things. We were happy we were walking distance to so many great sites.
