Nice hotel for a couple of days stay, staff were attentive and friendly.
Only downside was no fridge in room and as there was no meal other than breakfast it meant nowhere to store milk or perisable items.

Brandon Lodge is a very comfortable, clean and tidy place to stay. We had a garden room and although it’s off of a main road it was very quiet. I slept very well.

We had a wonderful stay at Brandon Lodge…..the room was comfortable and clean and the wifi was excellent! The only downside to our stay was when we arrived the car park appeared to be full but several cars had double parked so it took some manoeuvring to park safely and hopefully courteously to others perhaps some form of bay marking but the surface is gravel so might not be practicable….the owner did help us in our parking though! The breakfast was quite simply …..superb and the staff and owners ….fantastic.

What an awesome hotel. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for them. The room was more than comfortable with a good selection of hot drinks. A lovely quiet lodge which had a spacious bedroom and bathroom with bath/shower combination. Excellent facilities in the lodge. There was onsite parking and the delicious breakfast was in the main building which also had a lounge and bar area. Although there was no restaurant it didn’t matter as the Griffin Inn was only a 2 minute drive away and served a wide choice of freshly cooked food. The only downside to our stay was that there was no one to greet us as the key was left in our lodge and there was no one to return the key too. The only person we saw during our stay was the waitress at breakfast time.

Monique and her staff give a very warm welcome. Our room was very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent shower. We had the full English breakfast which was delicious. Precautions were taken concerning covid i.e. mask wearing indoors, 2m distance, staggered breakfast times, so that the breakfast room is not full at any given time and of course hand sanitiser is provided at the entrance. Even though situated on a road, you cannot hear the traffic as the garden area and rooms are behind a huge hedge. Really enjoyed our peaceful stay. I definitely recommend Brandon Lodge.

From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, you are met with friendliness; comfortable, clean accommodation; tasty, home cooked breakfast, there is nothing to fault about Brandon Lodge. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, first time was 8 years ago, and the only change this time is Covid-19, and Brandon Lodge follows all guidelines, masks worn to enter the house, until you are seated, staff ware masks at all times, with hand sanitiser available at the entrance to the property.
