Great location at center of Florence yet very close to the train station! Very quiet at night, much needed after long days of bus tours etc.

Bed was very comfortable, linens very soft

The buffet breakfast was great. The coffee served by staff was delicious and also serving Americano coffee exceptional!

Best of all, the staff work very hard to maintain the exceptional comforts of this hotel. Following up with how the room is, and always willing to help including the cleaning ladies for rooms! Work ethic, above and beyond for the travellers. Great hotel, best staff! Thank you for making our first time stay in Florence exceptional!

The staff at the front desk are simply marvelous. Kind, helpful with check in. Ronnie checked us in and suggested a place for lunch and made the reservation for us. It was definitely a locals only type of trattoria and the food was excellent. The location was very close to the SMN train station. This does account for some noise on that facing side of the property. We had an 8 am flight and had no trouble arriving to the airport on time. Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The location is fantastically located yards away from the train station and tram stop although round the corner and away from hustle and bustle. The staff were always excellent and friendly. The room was clean and original and fulfilled all my requirements. There were a few options for direction to all attractions and streets that were off the beaten track and I enjoyed exploring them all with ease and total safety. (The food market is less than 10 minute walk and a must)
I wouldn’t hesitate a return visit and my first option would be The Boccaccio.

The location next to the train station was ideal for luggage storage when we continued to Pisa. The hotel is so friendly and the breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay again just because of the reception and staff. Not as upscale as our apartment in Rome but my favourite so far due to outstanding service. No problem storing luggage before and after stay. Wish we had stayed longer.

Great welcoming clerk. When asked if there was coffee service available in our room, with some wit, he reminded us it was a 3 star hotel. After both he and my wife said I should not have coffee so late, he offered to make me some tea ☺️. The room was cozy. The breakfast was great. Location excellent for train and sites.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was first cabin! The staff was so helpful with restaurant recommendations, when we arrived, our bags were received and we were welcomed to go to the cafe/Bar and enjoy a Cappucino and Tea.and Croissants, restaurant reservations were on our behalf, 5 stars all the way, it is important to note the hotel is very well located, just 200 meters from the train station, and very close to Santa Maria Novella Piazza!

The property is nice, it's slightly older but facilities and staff are amazing. Breakfast was very nice too. The only drawback is it's close to the street so at night you might hear traffic and noise. Other than that, it's convenient, only minutes away from train station and major attractions are walkable.

All three reception staff members where pleasant, courteous and helpful. Roney was the first to recieve us and recomended a local trattoria which was excellent local food. In fact when we arrived they asked if we had a reservation. Once we showed the hotel card Roney gave us...they treated us as locals which we appreciated very much. Only a one night stop but 100% worth it.

Traditional, independent hotel. Staff are incredibly friendly and made our visit very enjoyable. Recommendations for restaurants and gelato were spot on! The room itself was spacious and comfortable for 4 but it was a little rough around the edges in places. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk to the train station and between 10-20 to all the other main attractions Florence has to offer. Would recommend as a good value hotel.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and really comfortable beds and good AC. Breakfast was great as it was also part of a cafe so decent coffee. Just a few minutes from the station and nearby to the main attractions, it was really good value for a base to explore the city. What we didn’t like was there was not a restaurant on site for dinner…some nights you just want to stay in with a drink and dinner but there cafe was closed after lunch, despite website claiming they had restaurant/bar on site for dinner.

Amazing experience! Albie and Cosmin were exceptional. Perfect location, walkable and accessible, train station is less than 5 minutes and an easy walk with luggage. Lift inside the hotel, great WiFi and air conditioning. The hotel is simple, bathroom was fairly large. Overall we will definitely return, but especially because we enjoyed Albie and Cosmin!

As is the case with most travel experiences for us, we always try to look for places that have outstanding people. We had not experienced this property but because of its convenient location to downtown Florence as well as proximity to the airport with only a 15-minute ride in the wee hours of the morning, we decided to give it a chance. It did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived and meant Ronny followed up with Albie at the front desk we knew we made a great choice. We decided to have a quick cappuccino at the attached Bar next door and ended up eating a bite of lunch there. The service from Cosmin and especially Ermira was simply amazing. While the room itself was a very typical European Hotel room that was small but adequate it was clean and appointed with Basics you need. In any event we will always vote for experience and cleanliness and this hotel was a great choice for us. We would also be remiss in our responsibility as a review writer to not mention Blaze who was there in the wee hours of the morning and knew that we would miss breakfast because of our early departure so he was kind enough to make us cappuccinos. Thank you Blaze

We used this hotel as our base camp, asking the hotel staff to keep our laege luggage for a few days while we went from Florence to Venice, and from Florence to Cinque Terre.
The staff are all kind and very friendly. The rooms are a bit outdated but it is reasonably priced with complimentary breakfast and it is located very near to Firenze SMN train staion, we are very glad to have chosen this hotel.

Staffs were friendly and they made the room very well.
But the hotel is so old and the room was way too small. I can’t even open my small suitcase. I found the small bugs everyday from the crack in the washroom. All the furniture and facilities were so old.
The location is very close to the train station. But it’s so noisy outside at night. People are so loud at night around that area.
Their breakfast is pretty good.
Overall, I won’t come back again.

And while the Service is attentive and professional, and the breakfast is very good, the room I stayed in was shabby, tired and had a strange odor whenever I entered. Furniture was old, worn and uncomfortable. Unless this place gets a serious makeover, I would not stay here again.

Great location but ....

The hotel staff were excellent and great location to attractions and central station but the room we were allocated was very small and needs some updating and TLC.
The included breakfast was continental and the coffee was excellent. The beds were comfortable and king size and there was a wardrobe and a table and once you put you luggage in it left no room for moving around.

This hotel is amazing and the staff are unmatched. I cannot remember the name of the guy who checked me in but he was so friendly and generous (offered me a glass of water whilst I waited) and offered me some really cool suggestions of places to go. Later than evening I was greeted by Alby and he was so personable that we ended up talking for a good 30 mins if not more. I asked for a few things (hot water, glasses of ice ) it was not too much trouble for him during the night I bothered him. In the days when I was leaving and evenings I was returning all of the staff were so inviting and eager to learn what I was / had done during the days. I booked the smallest solo room and it was surprisingly spacious. Whilst the rooms didn't have a kettle, it did have a large fridge enough for me to hold a few containers of fruit, juice and water. The location is great being merely a few mins from the tram and train stations with the carrefour being across the road. I would not hesitate at all to return to this hotel as I absolutely loved my stay there :) Thanks guys for giving Firenze a wonderful reputation

Gabriel at front desk was absolutely fantastic and very helpful. Guided us correct and explained us areas to explore. Super helpful while storing our luggage at the hotel.
The facility is good and the room size is decent enough to for family of four. It might get little cramped if you have big bags. The only issue we faced was the shower water was not draining fast enough and would creat a puddle in the shower after every shower.
Must try: white latte with soy milk.
We were there only for a night but will definitely consider revisiting sometime later
