This isn't a review of the hotel, but the communications. Bad weather delayed my flight by a couple of days. I tried reaching out by a couple of different methods to move my dates, but heard nothing. I was very excited to stay, but I wouldn't recommend booking due to the lack of communication.

Clean hotel with wonderful staff. I wish it was a bit closer to city center, but it was easy to park and navigate to and from which was a fine trade off. There was a grocery store and a mall within a very short walk, as well as a 24/7 gas station. The cafe in the bar area had an incredible cheeseburger, which was a great option after a long day of travel. We loved that the windows opened wide, too. Ask for a room above ground floor so you can leave it open as needed for sleep. We would stay here again.

Room was updated, modern and spacious. Shower was great. Especially nice after long days of hiking. The staff was extremely friendly and also very helpful and accommodating. The food was very good. They had a very nice breakfast buffet. We did eat at the restaurant one evening and the food was wonderful. It was very easy to travel to the harbor area / Tinganes and very quick and easy to get to the main roads in order to tour the islands. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel ok overall but rooms are tiny with very little space to unpack and store belongings. We had a terible dining experience in their casual cafe. The two of us ur ordered dinner at the same time and my order came but not my companion's; the server said he'd check but we didn't see him again. After 20 minutes my dinner got cold waiting and we asked another server who went to check. Finally, 35 minutes after my order was delivered they brought my companion's. Either the server or the kitchen totally botched the order, but not a word of apology.

There was an issue at check-in as they couldn’t figure out how many rooms had been booked, even though I had a receipt from Hotel.com. The rooms could have been cleaner. The same issue occurred two weeks ago when I found a used contact lens and long hairs from a previous guest. The bathroom was also not cleaned properly.

See enclosed pictures of our room after it was “cleaned”. We got the explanation afterwards that they never touch anything, but folding a pyjama, putting shoes in order, and throwing out garbage are clearly part of standard cleaning procedure in my mind (unless explicitly told that guests need to clean the room for the cleaners)

Way too high temperature to sleep

The temperature in the room was extremely hot. So hot that you’re unable to sleep in it. Reception couldn’t do anything about it as it is caused by central heating. The only solution is to open the window, but that means you get noise from the street instead. So you have to live with either very temperature or noise as you try to get some sleep.

We felt it was a very basic hotel. Small rooms, barely had room for our luggage’s. No safe, no tissue box and no phone in the room.
The heat was on and we can’t control It from the room so we didn’t know how to open the window and because there was no phone, I had to go down to the reception and someone came up and showed us how to open.
The staff was very friendly and tried to help.
My husband left his PJ on the bed and they did not fix his side of the bed and when we asked why, we were told that if you leave on the bed, they do not fix the bed, and they didn’t change towels which were on the floor.
Location was great, staff very nice and friendly.
Breakfast was ok as well.

Overall it is a good, clean, and modern hotel. The only reason I cannot give it a perfect score is for two reasons:
1. Upon check-in, the receptionist told me that breakfast was included with my stay. It turns out that was not true and I ended up having to pay for breakfast at check-out.
2. The hot tub was 200 DKK per person. I’m sure it was written in their book; however, it would have been nice to been notified of this by the receptionist when we booked it. It is a very steep price to add onto an already expensive hotel stay and we wouldn’t have booked it if we knew the price.

Hotel is very new. Staff are very nice. Seems to be well set up for conferences and other private events. Has a young, hip vibe. Has a nice souvenir shop. Fairly close to a town bus stop (the bus that leaves from outside the information centre in down town). Two stops from SMS shopping centre. This hotel felt very expensive for the location and amenity. Tiny towels. Toilet squashed into ensuite. No self service guest laundry. Quite inconsistent meal size and quality in the bar area. Think it’s the same owners as Hotel Hafnia as that is what shows up on the cc. If I go back I’ll stay closer into town. But if you want a classy, well appointed place to stay, this is a good choice.

Excellent staff, great breakfast buffet (even the beans had an extra touch of tastiness), good atmosphere, a nice bar with generous wine hour (Spanish tempranillo) in the afternoons. Beds are comfortable and large windows make the room feel a tiny bit bigger. Attentive staff that even caught the news of a birthday. Will be back.

Fantastic. We loved this hotel, everything about it - the room, facilities, amazing staff and breakfast. Also, the restaurant was excellent; the menu undersells the sophisticated meal we enjoyed. Its not expensive, relative to comprable establishments in the Faroes.
Although the hotel is not in downtown Torshavn, it's a quick drive and parking is no problem in Torshavn.

One of the best place to stay in Torshavn!

Great service, very welcoming and friendly. Always ready to help. Very comfortable room. Small but efficient gym (we loved the eco-friendly equipment!!). Only downside maybe for some people could be the room service menu but it just give you a good reason (as if you needed that!!) to go out to eat. Nice happy hour. In short, a lovely stay in the heart of Torshavn! :)

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, in nur 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt (Tiganes). Ein Schrank würde den Komfort anheben. Zimmer für 2 Personen etwas klein und die Fernsehkanäle konzentrieren sich auf skandinavische Sprachen. Frühstücksbuffet vielfältig und ausgezeichnet.
Kühlschrank im Zimmer auch vorhanden.

The stay was wonderful. If the hotel had an evening restaurant, we would definetely have had a 3-course meal there, but we had to go down town both nights.
I am a bit dissapointed with the price on Hotels.com where I made the booking. The hotel had a good weekend offer for two nights for Dkk 1.600,-
I paid almost 50% more. In my opinion, I should have been informed about and offered the lower price when we checked out.

Dejligt nyt hotel. Værelserne er effektivt indrettet, og smagfuldt og positivt dekoreret.
Venligt personale, og check in/out gik hurtigt. Ikke noget pjat med at alle oplysninger skulle gives igen osv. Hotellet ligget let tilgængeligt, og der var parkering nok. Fitness faciliteterne er kønnere end effektive, men du kan stadig få en udemærket træning. Der er indbygget ChomeCast på værelserne, fantastisk når man vil se dagens foto eller nyhederne hjemmefra. Der er rigtig god wifi på hele hotellet.

Not impressive on location, view nor facilities

Arrived 14th Aug. 2020. The hotel is new and clean. However location is pretty dull. You neither get the central location not the view. We booked the hotel primarily due to the wellness facilities. The facilities was closed down due to covid19, understandable although not communicated (and we booked only days prior). However when you still run a breakfast buffet it just seems like a cost saving excuse. We skipped breakfast but looked decent.

Vi havde et godt ophold på hotellet som ligger 800m fra havnen og div restauranter. Servicen var generelt god. Hotellet bar dog lidt præg af at det var ny startet, fitness lokalet var ikke helt færdig og mangler helt klart et løbebånd. Bar og lougen området var fint og med god service. Morgenmaden var fin men vi savnede alm musli-havregrød/gryn,kornflakes med mælk på, til at starte dagen på. En del larm/trafikstøj ude fra gaden som gjorde det svært at sove med vinduet åbent, men ellers et fint ophold.
