The unit was worn and in need of refurbishments. Bed was comfortable with a great view but the room was stuffy and hot with only 2 small high windows and a smaller fan to provide airflow. The drive way was rough with tight windy bends. Would I stay there again...no.

Besides the tall trees growing in front of our unit, we had good surrounding views. The unit itself was top notch, cozy, clean and tidy. I especially loved the wall units above each bedside drawer! So so convenient! The downside - double bed was two king singles pushed together which had an uncomfortable “dip” in the middle. The driveway up to our unit was steep (ok) but had loose shingle and uneven and needed abit of tlc. Otherwise, great place to stay and would stay again.

This is an older style property, decoration etc etc dated but that’s part of its charm.
Rooms are extremely clean . The restaurant offers a range of food options including a bar area .
Staff are excellent.A few minutes drive from the Main Street of Te Kuiti .

Unfortunately the WiFi would only connect in the restaurant and not in our room - so may need a booster or something for this to connect in the rooms

Panoramic views from room. Well equipped room but all quite dated. Shower head is very low and had to bend down to shower properly. Might be a more significant problem for taller guests. However, noted that refurbishment of some rooms was taking place during our stay.
Close to Waitomo caves was a plus. Overall a good overnight stop.

This was a very pleasant place to stay! Very convenient with its Restaurant and breakfast available. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The only tricky bit was the bathroom. A very tiny handbasin which was very difficult to use without getting water all over the floor and the shower regulator was awkward because it was very old and when turning it the labels didn’t match the heat and cold! Had to be very careful.

We had a lovely clean unit. We got there late and they had turned on the heating and the electric blanket which we really appreciated as it was such a cold night. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be staying again. Its a bit dated but everything was so clean and the shower was a good pressure and the bed was comfortable.

It was old but ok, room stank and needed airing, i didnt expect flash. Bed was comfortable. Clean shower and toilet for an older place. Road in and around the property very steep and made harder cause the road falling apart, hope i dont get flat tyres from pot holes in driveway. Check in ok, but i feel the staff were not very friendly or very helpful.

The staff were excellent, thank you so much. We loved that we had the whole block to ourselves. A book on the hotels amenties, the restaurant and nearby activities would of been handy, there was nothing in the room. TeKuiti is a really quiet town, we drive up and down the streets looking for the night life.

Expedia can you please update your records alongside the motel please, the pool was not in use and staff are only in the office from 3-10pm.

Driveway still undergoing repairs.

Went to tangi at local marae so we were sort of last minute. My grandchildren enjoyed the space and their wifi connection was good enough to keep them all amused. This is will continue to be our 'go to' place when we come to Te Kuiti.

Nobody on site when we arrived and messy in front of reception entrance. Dining room was closed although Manager ffered to provide some room service if required. Swimming pool was closed. Grounds were generally in need of some maintenance. Room was clean and okay for a one night stay

When booking a place to stay I expect the amenities listed to be both working and available. No water in the pool in summer, and the restaurant was closed, both reasons why we booked the accommodation. I was only advised about the pool after I had paid and was told they could give me a refund if I wanted to go elsewhere, on a weekend where everything was fully booked, thanks. Bath towel had a massive hole, parking is chaotic. On the bright side, it was clean, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The Panorama was easy to find being on the main road heading North before you come into Te Kuiti. It is located off a down hill stretch of road therefore there is a bit of truck noise (engine breaking) during the night but this did not bother me as I was tired out after driving up from Wellington and doing the Waitomo caves tour that day. The restaurant is well worth eating at and it is licenced so you can enjoy a beer or two with dinner without worrying about having to drive anywhere.

The motel had a fantastic view - hence the name Panorama. There is a restaurant onsite too. As a walker I was more than happy that to get to town needed to walk up and down a hill! Friendly and welcoming staff.

Unfortunately on a long downhill section of SH3, where trucks use air brakes, so is very noisy. There was (I kid you not) a large chunk missing out of the toilet bowl, and the bathroom wet floor design was poorly enough \"adapted\" that we ended up making a dam around the shower curtain to stop 3/4 of the bathroom turning into a water feature.
