I was about to destroy this hotel in my review due to some issues we had there with a paid event and staff but as soon as I voiced my complaint, the other staff really stepped up to make things right. The manager called me the next day as well to apologize and offer my wife and I a dinner. I’d like to recognize Anu and Sabu for their great service and hospitality as well. Overall, the stay was good. It was dog friendly which we really enjoyed. The hotel was nice and the beach was beautiful. I don’t have children but it was very kid friendly as well.

worst in fujairah, wonder how they got 5 star

entrance is confusing, exit looks like entrance, exit comes first on the road. there is no sign near the exit to drive further for entrance. pool bar and adult swimming pool is very far, bar is next to the kids zone, no clue. no staff passing by at the pool or beach, i need to go to the lounge to order but i cant enter cus im wearing swimming wear. i have to open the door but keep myself body outside to call staff and order outside, they dont even deliver to the beach.
i was about to pay with room number but they say i cant cus i didnt pay deposit, no one asked me to pay deposit during check in. noisy dj party happening till 10.30pm with really bad song, i wanted to rest with wave sound but it was really torturing to hear the song outside. this was not informed when i book or check in neither, no one informed. in a word, this is my first and the last time experience at this hotel

**Disappointing Pet-Friendly Experience**

I recently stayed here which markets itself as a pet-friendly establishment. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to this claim.

First, there were no water bowls provided for pets in the room or common areas, a basic amenity that any pet-friendly hotel should offer. Additionally, the designated pet area was inconveniently located far from our room, making it a hassle to take our dog out for walks or even to do their business.

The biggest disappointment, however, was that the hotel's outdoor restaurant did not allow dogs. This restriction meant we couldn't enjoy meals on the premises with our pet, forcing us to stay in the room. I understand inside the hotel restaurants are not allowed but even outside not allowed didn’t make sense apart from one bar where there is no shade, no people. Basically it meant come to the pet friendly hotel but keep away from everything

Overall, failed to meet the expectations of a true pet-friendly hotel. If you are traveling with your pet, I recommend looking elsewhere.

We liked the beach and the pools. The buffet food was also of good quality. Jeff of reception, Godspower of the bar and Kenneth of the restaurant were all very friendly and gave excellent service.

We were disappointed in a few things. The kids pool used to have a sail covering the pool protecting from the sun, but it broke 6months ago and management is not replacing. This protection is very important in the summer for kids.
Also the adult pool bar was not functioning.
The pool bar at the other pool was working but the attendant had to work in the heat without a working fan. Also he was alone giving him very hard and unpleasant working conditions.
Only one bar was showing the football
Matches in the afternoon and evening which is for smokers, so it was impossible to see the matches with kids.
Generally it seemed the hotel was not doing maintenance and had an ageing feeling.
The staff makes this up by giving their best.

I would return if they repair the kids pool sail and pool bars, and general aspect gets improved.

This hotel no longer meets the standard of a 5-star property. While the staff were fantastic, the building and its amenities are lacking. It feels very dated and is in desperate need of a revamp if it is to continue as a 5-star. We bought the all-inclusive package and it was a major disappointment. We were limited to the buffet for all 3 meals and it was basic at best. The food was recycled from one meal to the next, it was lacking in choice and flavour. We were limited to a small drinks menu of house drinks and the ice-cream was only included for the children only for a few hours during the day. The pool bar was rarely manned which was frustrating. The kids club is just a playroom with no organised activities, leaving children becoming bored in no time.

Not so good experience. The service is below standard,we have to continuousely ask for things over and over. We were 4 people but we get only 2 cups for coffee and 2 bottles of water, booked for 4 people but only received beds for 2 people.
Breakfast buffet feels like a warzone with rude guests everywhere,pushing in being rude. Other guests tried to force us from our beach chairs at some point. Seems like an overwhelming influx of Russian speaking guests, who cannot speak a word of English. Really uncomfortable and unwelcome experience. Only good thing was that they are pet friendly, but no pets allowed in restaurants and swimming pool. Shout out however to the Lounge restaurant manager-he was amazing and the food there was excellent.

The check in was very good and smooth with AWAIS in the reception. He is great and trying to do his best. Quick check in was appreciated. I didn't meet Mr Bassam.. there's a quick response from the housekeeping and room service better than last times. The only thing the hotel reservation team was not friendly. But overall the hotel is great . And the staff is great. Hope to continue.

The hotel staff was welcoming. Bassam and Jeff went above and beyond to accommodate an extra bed in our family room for our toddlers. The buffet could have been better with some more variety. It was decent though. One thing that we didnot like is that there were flies around all over the place. While i understand that having it outdoor is something that you cannot control, having it in the restaurant with it sitting on food is unacceptable and nasty. It was also not one or two here and there but a whole bunch of it creating a pretty unhygenic environment. We could literally see flies sitting on the buffet counter on food. So for cleanliness and hygeine, i would rate the buffet section a 1 or 2 star.

A very bad 3 star, far from a 5 star

Horrible hotel and I don’t understand how this hotel classified as 5 stars. For me, this is a bad 3 stars and 800 USD per night for a suite is not worth at all. Maximum is a 100 USD worth. The hotel is old, we had a problem with AC leakage and noisy, wrong billing. Food is terrible, we ended up eating in neighboring hotels. Breakfast is less than average and always the same variety. It is really not worth it. The only positive point is the staff was very attentive and reactive but unfortunately they couldn’t change the negative aspects.

I have done staycation in many hotels within UAE and I have also stayed in many Radisson Blu hotels around the world, and I can honestly say that this property disappointed me. Its meals are not very good (the buffet didn’t even have enough plates, bowls, and cups for customers, and I had to ask multiple times at almost every meal to bring the bowls and cups so I could serve myself soup and coffee, which took forever to arrive). We ordered drinks and they were not served until we finished the meals. For the price you pay for the meal (AED 150 ) for each person (same price for children), it is not worth it. In addition, a bottle of beer costs AED30. The drinks at the beach bar are also extremely pricey (soft drinks cost AED20 or AED25), which is served in a very small half pint cup full of ice. Room cleaning showed up at our room in the evening around 7:15pm. We asked them how many rooms they clean in a day, and the guy said he had to clean 17 rooms that day (7 rooms that had vacated that day plus 10 rooms that were still occupied). Overall the hotel gave me an impression that they are trying to save pennies everywhere at the cost of quality customer service. Not in the same league as other hotels in the UAE in comparable price ranges nor the Raddison Blu brand hotels I am familiar with.

First of all, booking management from Hotels.com was not up to expectations (mishandling of my change request resulting in hidden additional cost) and support was not provided.

The hotel itself is old and the service was poor (need to walk a long distance to get beach towels, breakfast was ok but not exciting, minimal lifeguards close to the beach and around pools)

So many pools for all age groups.... Room was hug e not big but huge. We were upgraded to a 1 bed suite, more like a one bedroom palace.

The belly dance show was such a surprise and top quality in terms of skill. Have seen others but nothing compared to the skill of the artist.

Breakfast was a delight, the egg counter was the most famous...the chef werr 5 star and even with the rush made everyones eggs exactly as ordered.

Games room and spa also were great.

Will visit here... But will try the 2 bedroom suite...

My advice is come here for 2 nights.. as there is lots to do.

The hotel is a bit aged. The Breeze restaurant has the charme of a cafeteria. The best thing is however a very pleasant beach. We had some dietary requirements which were communicated early, but communication between different departments and shifts of the hotel did not always work. On a positive side, on a personal level chefs and other personnel went out of their way to accommodate our special needs. In particular chefs Shakir and Khan at Breeze restaurant made a formidable effort. The hotel seems to cater a lot for \"all included\" large groups which reflects in a less sophisticated approach. Overall, a pleasant stay but not more than that and not more than 4 stars. Not recommended for couples seeking something romantic and special.

We took a 3 bedroom suite. It was spacious and lovely with a big balcony and beach view. The cleaning staff especially Tosin at the restaurant was helpful as we had 2 small kids and they kept spilling things at the restaurant. The pool was a bit crowded due to the weekend and sometimes we wished there was another pool but it was a great overall experience nonetheless.

Great place to relax and enjoy the beach!

The tomato soup was the most amazing I ever tried! All service personnel is friendly and helpful. The only points to improve are that the pool table and games room should close at a later time, preventive maintenance should be implemented as we had a water leak and the bathroom floor was always full of water. Also, the hall were we stayed was noisy during the day. The restaurant food options should be more varied.

Only negative thing about the stay was the partial view of the sea - The guy at the reception (Rashid ) made me believe that he is offering me full sea view which was not true - Also when I had already selected king bed he was trying to give me two twin Beds which I refused straight away -
Overall breakfast buffet was decent - I had not taken full board but I must say that restaurants are priced decently with good portion sizes hence one could easily eat meals in the hotel ....

Very good. Few drawbacks, only 1 pool was temp controlled and was crowded. Out of 5 pools at least the kids pool and 2 other pools were temp controlled, we could have a good time in the pool and delay in checking in. Otherwise the stay was very good. Excellent view and staff.

Room was dirty and uncomfortable. Bsthroom had obvious mold. Obviously, not sanitized. We had to tape over a broken flashing fire alarm light. Asked for missing towels 4 times. Staff largely does not wear masks on nose and mouth for COVID-19 protection. Workers kept coming into our room with masks around their neck but below their mouth.

Food was ok. Price was not expensive. Hotel did not have electrical adapters for US power cords.

Great view and beautiful beach. Too bad the hotel is managed poorly. Plenty of better 4 and five star hotels in the vicinity.

On the first morning, songs were played in the Courtyard so loud at 6am by the Hotel, that we woke up and complained.

The same night, we couldn’t sleep and had to complain as it felt like a zoo full of children were running in the bedrooms above us.

After complaining about both the issues on two different occasions, I would have expected the hotel management to follow up, but nothing happened.

Overall a terrible stay, and will not be recommending the hotel to anyone.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay here. Staff are excellent - thanks to Saqib for his hospitality in particular. Comfortable bed in a spacious room overlooking the ocean was very nice. Breakfast was good, but not great - coffee is not the best and some of the food was too oily, but there is a good range of options. Plenty of sun loungers on the beach that were regularly cleaned, and not so many people made for a relaxing time. Would def come back here again.

You can find better in Fujairah!

The Radisson Blu in Fujairah feels a bit like a resort that hasn't kept up with the times. The room was nice - and a really good view. But the menu feels like something from the 1990s. Lots of options - but nothing fresh, nothing creative. One vegetarian option - tomato pasta. We had tacos...bought in, cheap guacamole, with cheap salsa and horrible, canned style orange cheese - packed full of chemicals and E numbers. The service in the restaurant was functional but surly - but no surprise, there was just one restaurant. At dinner, the vegetarian option was a buffet salad and another pasta dish. The noise from the surrounding rooms started at 6.30am, with what sounded like a disco. Staff were friendly and helpful for the most part - although they never ask if everything is OK.

The reception and restaurant staff was very friendly even though the hotel was busy (one of the busiest weekends in months).
The cafe in the lobby was exceptionally nice to hang out at, especially the barista, Kritika, who makes good coffee.

The breakfast buffet has so many choices and what I had was delicious.
The beach was lovely. There are 2 heated and 2 unheated pools. I like the cold ones. They could do better at being ready when they say they will be open, I had to wait 30 min in the morning.
The staff was very helpful.
The toiletries are hard to read, very small print and hard to get the substances out of the bottles.

very bad experience‎

I would like to express my deepest frustration and disappointment into the very bad experience of this booking due to ‎the situation I faced with my family on 31 Dec 2019 during our first night “New Year Night” of staying in this ‎‎(Radisson Blu 5 star resort), which I had been forced to stay in the room with no other option in accordance to this ‎booking (meanwhile the only available was the gala dinner which it was not my interest).‎

Good hotel and Great Staff

Saba was an absolute star on checkin and let us check in earlier. She went beyond and above in giving advice and helpfullness. Good place to stay.Other staff were always smiling and helpfull as well.

Terrible property, understaffed

It is a very old property and also totally understaffed. the telephones don't seem to work and when we manage to call the reception many times they do not pick up unless multiple calls are made. We need to followup on our room service and it takes 20-30 mins. We had a major disappointment with the water sports. We had booked sports activity through the reception but there were no time slots available and they insisted on charging us for the ride even though we were not given a slot. My room was supposed to be a beach view but hardly could see the beach. overall a terrible resort and i should have been more careful not to book this property when few of my friends had informed me of their experience.
