The staff were nice, the beach was close, walkable distance to restaurants and pharmacies. Some issues we encounter was that the room doors had a huge gap under so we can see sunlight and hear people walking and talking in the hallways. The building is in a noisy area, and right next to a nightclub. The floor felt grainy, the bed was uncomfortably too bouncy. The bathroom had tiny red insects crawling on the walls and sink around 1AM. The TV remote did not work unless you’re choosing a channel (had to click on the buttons on the tv for volume and power.) I stayed in the 1bd1br so it might be different with other rooms, but this is what I experienced.

This is the spot if you go with a group of friends to hit the beach and have a good time. Rhw beach is literally behind the building. The front door staff were so nice and will do all they can to make you happy with your stay.

The hotel staff was great, any concerns or questions I had they were helpful. My room was ok, I had a double occupancy bed room with two queens , which was basic nothing fancy. The walls throughout the room were dirty, including the towels and the bedding. My tv remote wasn’t working, the front staff tried to fix the problem but they were unable to. So I was unable to use the tv but that wasn’t a big deal. My room was supposed to have a mini fridge and unfortunately it did not, there was also no Free continental breakfast, all they had was the little cafe (you had to pay) attached to the hotel with a rude staff. It’s a budget friendly hotel with a great location and that’s pretty much it. I was disappointed by the misinformation they advertised. I personally won’t be staying here again.

He was always attentive, friendly and offered wonderful local suggestions to make the trip more enjoyable. Plus Plus was the location, but the customer service received from Evan and staff would make us come back as we left feeling like family.

I spent five days at the hotel, and they did not clean our room once.
We kept having to ask them for clean towels, and they seemed upset we were interrupting them. Our sheets were never changed, even though we asked the front desk twice. The elevator at the hotel was really old and outdated. It felt very unsafe to ride in. Would not reccomend anyone to stay here.

Our room was in fine shape outside of the shower handle not working quite right. I never got a “Please service room” thing to put on our door to get our room serviced however they did come and give us some more towels. I would say the best improvement the hotel could make is little things like having shelves or maybe a small cabinet in the bathroom. Didn’t really have anywhere to put things in there. Overall it was decent stay and good location, right on the beach and walking distance from many places you’d want to go.

This is a relaxed beach hotel with access direct to the sea with very basic accommodation. The staff, particularly Xavier, were fantastic. Friendly, down-to-earth, and helpful. The towels and room were clean and serviced regularly.
If you are expecting new, spotless rooms with central air con then stay at the Marriot next door. The water didn't get hot. There were no tea/coffee making facilities but the cafe facing the beach served espresso.
This is what I would call 'cheap and cheerful' and I would definitely stay again. And the turquoise ocean waves are to die for.

We checked in on Thursday. The front desk employee was great and kind the first day. All of the other days there were different people covering the desk. Not one greeted or acknowledged us. Once we got into the elevator to get to our rooms it was dirty. But figured maybe it was just that one day (it wasn't). We went into the room and it was very outdated, towels were gross (we ended up buying our own), furniture was dirty and old, rooms have no iron, no microwave and the tv did not work. The location is good but does not offer parking. We had to pay $27 a day to park the car at another resort and walk to the hotel. We are not people to complain so we just stood out the room as much as possible. But would not stay here again.

No frills but Location makes up for it all. The staff was wonderful! We had an amazing time there and aside from minor things like updates that are being worked on during our stay, I have nothing bad to say. Ivan at the front desk was the absolute best and gave the best recommendations. Everyone in the cafe was very nice and personable! We had a great time for sure!

This was an absolute scam, the shower head was so dirty, paint on the wall was cracked and peeling, elevator sounds and looks like it’s for the 1900’s, also we only got half a roll or toilet paper roll in our room for 4 days, when it was done we needed to go asked for it at the front desk. The room wasn’t even cleaned properly. This hotel definitely discouraged me from going to Puerto Rico again. And also no parking, we got over $200 in tickets overnight

This place was nothing like the pictures. First off, this is NOT a hotel — it feels more like a motel.

When I checked in, they handed me a regular key and basically told me “don’t lose it or you’re out of luck,” which already set the tone. The room looked outdated, like something out of an old house. The A/C worked, I’ll give them that, but at night the room stayed bright because of a strong outside light from the building next door. The curtains were thin, white, and sheer — so no privacy or darkness to actually rest.

They also charged my card twice, although to be fair, they did correct it after.

I tried to sit in the outdoor patio area, but the staff seemed more focused on talking to each other than helping guests. After sitting there for about 13 minutes without any attention, I just left and went somewhere else for breakfast.

There were also basic things missing — no phone in the room, no safe, no iron. The surrounding block is very dark at night, which didn’t feel great either.

The only real positive is that the beach is right there.

This was my first vacation in a long time, and honestly, this place took away from the experience. Definitely not what I expected, and I wouldn’t consider this a hotel! Wait bathroom had no curtains so people on the balcony across can see you .

I booked a single queen room because the price seemed reasonable, but this was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was filthy, so bad that I refused to take my shoes off. The floors looked disgusting, and I found multiple large bugs in the room, which is completely unacceptable at any price point.

The entire place feels like it’s falling apart. One of the locks on my door didn’t even work, which is a serious safety issue and honestly alarming. On top of that, it was loud at all hours, so getting any real sleep was nearly impossible.

To make things worse, my room didn’t even have a window, which made it feel cramped and uncomfortable.

I will say the staff I interacted with were friendly, but that doesn’t make up for the condition of the property.

The only thing this place has going for it is the location. it’s close to the beach and the main street. But that is nowhere near enough to justify how poorly maintained and dirty this hotel is.

There are far better options in the area. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else.

No beach view from our suite, but it was clean and the staff were great and helpful and friendly. They let us check in almost two hours early because we arrived at 7am!
The room only has one garbage can in the bathroom and no glasses or cups for brushing teeth, also no coffee machine (for those of you who love your morning coffee!), but does have a hair dryer and iron. There are plenty of shops and restaurants just minutes away.
I found San Juan very expensive and will never return, but this hotel was worth the cost and I was not disappointed with the accomodation overall.

I would first like to say that the staff was great. Very nice, helpful, and gave us a lot of tips and recommendations for our trip. The hotel itself is close to the beach and a lot of restaurants. Our biggest complaints were that there is no parking so if you’re planning on renting a car be prepared to pay to park at one of the surrounding parking garages. It was also not the cleanest. While maintenance cleaning was done throughout our trip the rooms needed a little TLC as we could see a lot of the grime from former visitors along the walls. If you’re just wanting a place to sleep it’s fine.

I had a good stay here. It’s a smaller run hotel, and not known for its fanciness, but you’re in Puerto Rico… How much time are you gonna spend in the room other than sleeping? It’s right on the beach, they have a little patio bar/sitting area that’s open on Friday through Monday. Would be nice if it was open every day but it’s enjoyable to sit out there and socialize with some of the other travelers and exchange ideas. Overall, the facilities are dated but clean and a friendly staff, you will become familiar with during your time.
I did hear that sometimes the elevator is out of service, so if that’s an issue make sure to consider that.
One other nice thing was that there’s a Walgreens and another drugstore right down the street within a couple hundred feet… They sell everything from sunblock to Bacardi. Very convenient. Countless bars and restaurants within walking distance as well. I would get a room here again.

There is zero parking. Some search results say there is some parking. There is none. Then the hotel said we could park at the Hilton across the street for $25 a night. It was $97 for one night. The hotel is old, dirty and smells. Our room smelled so bad of chemicals (presumably some sort of insecticide) we had to leave all the windows open. Then the door wouldn’t unlock. The front desk attendants spent 10 minutes to get it unlocked (yes it has keys not key cards). Then later we got locked in the room at checkout time and had to spend 10 minutes trying to get out. The bathroom has holes in the walls. Parts of broken fixtures are still partially attached. The bed had some sort of a plastic liner under the cheap sheets. It had one small blanket and no comforter. The walls were so thin you could hear everything in the surrounding rooms and people walking down the hall. There is only one outlet in the room. This place is disgusting. The only upside is the access to the beach. Do not stay here!!! Gross

Get ready for an adventure!!

Let's start with the good points. The room was cleanish… during our four days we didnt see any bugs or critters. Also the overnight security guard was super nice and was able to help us find a place to watch the Super Bowl. One or two front desk staff were very nice and helpful others ranged from uninterested to absolutely rude.
The AC was ice cold !!! Worked very well we had to shut it off it got so cold

The adventure!!

There is no parking expect to park at the Mariott next door and pay $27 per day if you have a rental the mariott vallet staff are very nice and know what’s up.

We lost water Completely to the whole hotel for about 10-12 hours. We heard “the plumber is coming many times.

Due to the water loss the toilet got clogged and it took several requests to even get them to bring us a plunger (we had to do it ourselves)

Even when back in service the water pressure is Terrible and tepidly warm as best of you like hot showers like I do you will be disappointed.

A puddle was in our hall outside our door we wiped it up because we kept tracking it into our room but it kept. Coming back.

The roof terrace is a joke. Go see it it’s worth a laugh. The adjacent building is twice as tall so all you can look at is a concrete wall no ocean view lol

The room was a little small there is no fridge no microwave, coffeemaker or anything you might expect.

TV was streaming only on a dated smart TV. And the WiFi in the hotel was slow.

The hotel is located right next to the Marriott. Although street parking may not be feasible if you park Valet with Marriott, currently it's $27. The location is walking distance to restaurants and for us, attending the festival was perfect. The location for beach and sunseekers is a plus. The room was comfortable and clean. We will return.

Front desk lady was very nice and helpful, but the very small lobby has a couch and a chair, nothing more, and there were 2 locals who were basically living in the lobby, they were there the whole time that we were, it was completely unacceptable. The rooms were avg. but the outlets were so worn out it was difficult just to charge a phone. The hotel is next to a night club and it was LOUD until 2 AM, and the street was loud until 330AM.
