Very outdated hotel. The room was not clean. Especially the pillow was extremely dirty with hair, dust and black specks on it. Luckily there was a pillow in the closet, so I used that one. When I told about the pillow at check-out, the receptionist said they would swap it out. Hopefully they do that every time? No apologies were given. Also the keycard wasn’t working on some doors like the pool and dressing rooms. O had to ask to get it activated. All and all not a great experience.

The place to get away, relax and enjoy nature.

This hotel is nicely located off a quiet country road in the forest. It is so quiet and peaceful here, with the fresh smell of nature all around. The hotel is in very good condition, with nice rooms that have a kettle with coffee and tea, there is a fridge and the bathroom is very good too. Breakfast is a buffet with a lot of choice, also for picky eaters, with warm and cold food served. The wellness area is wonderful to relax during your stay with a sauna, a jacuzzi and a decently-sized pool. Definitely recommend to stay and get away for a night or many. The staff are very friendly, speak English perfectly and are very helpful with all questions. If need be, there is a bar and restaurant in the hotel so you will never go thirsty or hungry. Most visitors are trekkers that are there to go out trekking early in the morning.

I only stayed there for 24 hrs and it was a good experience all in all!

One thing that bothered me a little, was the staff at the restaurant. They were not paying attention to who came first and who got served.

I sat in for 15 minutes waiting for a waiter to come and give me a menu and ask me what I wanted to drink. A couple walked in 10 minutes after I did (who were local and you can tell all of the staff knew them) who got served before me, got their drinks before me.

I appreciate you have to treat the customers that come back a bit friendly and I have no issue with that ... But don't sit there chatting to them for 10 minutes while other customers waiting to be served.

Again, I had a good experience with the rest of the stay... Breakfast wasn't good unfortunately.

Pleasant, good value hotel

We had a short B&B break here as a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 juniors & 1 infant) and stayed in a suite.
Location-wise, the hotel is ideally situated for exploring the Netherlands and Northwest Germany.
The hotel's kerbside appeal is one of a welcoming, friendly establishment.
Facilities are to a high standard and will appeal to a broad spectrum of clientele. An onsite gym and spa facilities were great to use to unwind each day.
Breakfast is a continental buffet and again to a high standard.
We did eat at the restaurant for dinner and whilst the menu is presented to a high standard, the variety of choice let's it down a little.
Would we stay here again? Probably but, we tend to try not to do that as there are so many more hotels to explore.
Would we recommend it? Definitely.

Nice Hotel in the Forest with nice pool and hottub

Business trip and I wanted a hotel with a swimming pool to cool off after a 4 hour drive. The Hotel is out in the forest in a lovely quiet position.
The pool is superb with a hot tub and pool and in the pool a jet of water that you can swim against to improve your fitness (hard work but a great addition I wish my local pool had one of these.

Accueil très moyen pour cette hôtel déjà visité plusieurs fois qui est principalement intéressant pour son emplacement dans un cadre verdoyant et reposant. Malgré la rénovation de plusieurs chambres, la décoration commence à être suranné et demanderait un lifting.
Très étrange de réserver une chambre à deux lits et de se retrouver avec une chambre mansardé avec un grand lit. Nous avons dû aller à la réception pour avoir une chambre à deux lits comme souhaité. Nous avons eu une chambre plus agréable mais les deux lits étaient collés en raison de tables de nuits imposantes et fixes. Le deuxième jour, le ménage n'a pas été effectué, ni les serviettes changés et les dosettes à café non renouvelés (seulement deux dosettes pour un séjour de deux nuits et deux personnes) surement une démanche écoresponsable que nous ne retrouvons pas dans le tarif !!!

Super slechte informatie over de spa. In de spa blijkt slechts 1 sauna beschikbaar. Voor de andere sauna’s heb je geen toegang. Zeer slechte afhandeling van mijn klacht hierover. Totaal geen begrip.
Oud gebouw, gerenoveerd maar ziet er nog steeds oud uit. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is slecht.

De bedden waren uitstekend en het ontbijt fantastisch. Enige wat ik miste was misschien iets van brie/ camembert. Perfecte uitvalplek voor een paar dagen Limburg. Na een dagje lopen kun je heerlijk ontspannen in het zwembad en de sauna.

Schöne Lage, sehr ruhig. Anlage hat die besten Jahre hinter sich, überall müsste renoviert werden. Schmuddelige Flure, enge Zimmer, winzigstes WC. Schönes Frühstück, leider war der Lachs nicht frisch und ungenießbar. Für den Preis hätten wir besseres erwartet

Sköna sängar, rymligt rum. Bra med separat toalett, saknade dock ett tvättställ där toaletten fanns. Bra poolområde. Frukosten var ok, hade kunnat va fräschare! Vi var på genomresa, kom sent och åkte efter frukost, hann inte utforska omgivningen, men det verkade mysigt.

De sfeer van bos en groen werd mooi doorgevoerd in de inrichting van het hotel. Handig ook die fietsboxjes om de fiets te stallen. een prachtige omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen. Het zwembad is een waardevolle toevoeging.

Was hier vaker geweest en nooit problemen. Nu vroor het buiten en was de kamer erg koud, verwarming op de kamer heeft men uitgeschakeld en kamer moet men verwarmen met airco. Alleen die deed het niet. Vriendelijk personeel heeft wel elektrische verwarming geplaatst en extra dekbed. Kamer was niet schoon toen wij aankwamen. Voor euro 189 per nacht (moesten voor de wellness euro 44 extra bijbetalen)is dit allemaal niet acceptabel. De tijd krijgt vat op deze accommodatie en de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is niet goed.

Dirty and outdated hotel

The hotel was outdated and ready for a big renovation. The rooms were not cleaned properly as dust was visible on the sticky light switches and hair dryer. Also the head board had disgusting stains on them and we cleaned it ourselves before going into bed. They really have to do a more thorough job on the cleaning. During the two nights we stayed, a dog could be heard barking all night long. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Pool area was good. Definitely not worth 4 stars.

De locatie is mooi. De ontbijtzaal en het restaurant waren in orde.De kamer waar wij in zaten was matig schoongemaakt.
Veel rag, kamer en badkamer bevatte schimmel en haren.
Veel vliegjes. Het personeel was aardig, ontbijt was gemiddeld, geen uitgebreide keuze, maar wel voldoende. Kwaliteit was goed.

Das Hotel war in ruhiger Lage . In den Bädern waren teilweise noch Haare vom Vorgänger. Beim Frühstück war das frisch gebackene Brot Meeega lecker. Das Rührei und der Rest war normal nichts außergewöhnliches. Insgesamt gut.

Prima verblijf gehad (1 nachtje). Mooie kamer met mooie gerenoveerde badkamer en separaat toilet. Wat in onze (stelletje) ogen echter niet heel handig is is dat de verlichting in de badkamer en toilet aangaan middels een bewegingsensor. Dus ook midden in nacht als je bijvoorbeeld naar het toilet moet. Je kan er niet voor kiezen om deze uit te zetten.

Het ontbijtbuffet is redelijk, alles ligt er wat je in principe nodig heb.

Zwembad is netjes. Deze is niet alleen voor hotelgasten maar ook voor leden van de sportschool welke gehuisvest is in het hotel.


Hotel is zoals de naam het al zegt gesitueerd in het bos, daardoor lekker rustig en mooie omgeving.

wer die Ruhe sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben

Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende zur Feier unseres Hochzeitstags dort verbracht.

+ Lage im Wald und ruhige Atmosphäre, Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals (bis auf s.u.), Größe und Stil des Zimmers (Suite), Qualität der Betten, großer Balkon, Klimaanlage.
Im Restaurant wurde sehr gut auf diätetische Wünsche eingegangen.

- Es fehlen Kleinigkeiten zur Bequemlichkeit wie zB ein Hocker im Bad. Das Bett wurde zwar gemacht und das Bad gereinigt, aber das Sofa blieb verschmutzt (sichtbar noch vom Hund des Vorbewohners), obwohl wir die Reinigungskraft darauf hingewiesen haben; auch der Boden wirkte so, als wäre er zwischendurch nicht gereinigt worden. Bei dem Preis hätten wir auch erwartet, dass die Kaffeebar täglich aufgefüllt wird, es gab jedoch nur den einen Satz von der Ankunft, der gerade für den ersten Tag reichte. Und der Saunabereich muss extra zugebucht werden (Fitnessstudio und Pool sind aber inklusive)

Wir haben den Aufenthalt trotzdem sehr genossen, würden allerdings erst bei einem besseren Preis-Leistungsverhältnissen wieder buchen.

Goed maar prijzig voor wat je krijgt

Nette kamer met uitzicht op de bossen. Badkamer iets gedateerd maar wel netjes. Fijne bedden met dekbed. Zwembad en sauna prima, alleen erg jammer dat sauna met badkleding was. Het wellness gedeelte met naakt sauna en buitengedeelte was tegen betaling van 22,50 euro en dat vond ik wel jammer dat dit niet aangegeven was vooraf. Ook badjas was tegen betaling. Had voor hotelgasten wel gratis mogen zijn. Prima restaurant.

Ik vond de kammer niet goed schoon gemaakt
Overal spinrag. De badkamer zat een hoop troep op de tegels wat niet schoon gemaakt is en in het bad lag geknipte haren in.
Buiten op het balkon legt sigaretten op de grond en de asbak zat vol.

Niet heel schoon en veel kleine beestjes (vliegjes, lieveheersbeestjes, ect) logisch want midden in t bos maar wellicht iets om rekening mee te houden. Het mocht de pret niet drukken, we hadden een heerlijk verblijf mede dankzij de lieve mevrouw van het ontbijt die ons extra mayonaise gaf!

Sehr kalt im zimmer bei Ankunft.

Es wurde beim Check in nichts über das Frühstück erwähnt und auch wurde der Weg zum Zimmer nicht erklärt. Alles musste nachgefragt werden.

Mooi gelegen complex

Kamer 309 zou beter als 1-persoonskamer gelabeld kunnen worden. Bed geplaatst onder schuine dakrand is slechts ‘fatsoenlijk’ van een zijde toegankelijk. Toilet is zo klein dat je ingeklemd zit tussen toiletpot en wand.
Als restaurant vol is, wordt er verwezen naar een 5km verder gelegen uitspanning ‘de Boshut’ die tot hetzelfde concern behoort.
Zou niet misstaan als er met het hotelbusje een shuttle wordt aangeboden, zeker als fietstoerist. Nu mag je als gast (senior 75 jaar) in het pikkedonker je weg zoeken door bos of langs provinciale weg.

Het is een uitsteken goed en fraai hotel in een zeer mooie rustige omgeving. Uitstekend geschikt voor fietsers en wandelaars. Zeer ruime kamers met badkamer. Het bed was meer dan uitstekend en elektrisch verstelbaar. De televisie is gezien de afstand wat aan de kleine kant om in bed naar te kijken. De badkamervloer was niet altijd goed schoon. Het ontbijt was goed maar de broodjes niet ovenvers. Het diner was goed met een uitgebalanceerde kaart. De cevische was wat laf en onduidelijk van smaak. Maar de lamsteak was goed en conform verzoek rare. Modern afgemaakt zonder vette sauzen of overdreven veel aardappelen of patat. Het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en service gericht. Een duidelijk pluspunt is het mooie zwembad met sauna. Zeker bij wandelen of fietsen in de herfst. Het hotel is zeker een aanrader.

Het hotel ligt in een mooi fietsgebied op de grens met Duitsland. Het heeft mooie ruime kamers en een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Dit jaar was er voor ons helaas geen ruimte voor vakantie maar na 1 nachtje boshotel voelde het toch alsof we er een week tussenuit zijn geweest. Goed verzorgd en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het personeel was ook erg goed met de kinderen, zij hebben echt genoten!
