The property is unique but the staff were not that helpful and service not that good! The breakfast is very average.

This is a charming place in the center of Bukhara's old town. It is beautiful and I loved the courtyard a lot.
I loved my room and it's decoration- but unfortunately no connectivity. Unless I was standing right at the door, I did not get any WiFi signal or regular phone signal, which was very inconvenient. I only stayed there one night, but i would have asked to changed my room with better signal reception if I was staying longer.
Staff were helpful; they helped me with luggage and also help me get a Yandex ride when I was not finding any driver at 4:30am. Thanks for the hospitality!

Super experience all around!
I traveled to Bukhara with two girlfriends, and we had a fabulous stay at Minzifa. The property is lovely, and the location couldn't be better. Most importantly, the staff took care of us like family. They made us breakfast boxes for our sleeper train and proactively made one with gluten free items (and even checked with our gluten-intolerant friend to make sure it all worked!). One of us left a coat behind, and they arranged a driver to have it delivered to us in Tashkent. We were so grateful, and I can recommend this property enough!

Not as advertised. I spent $100 a night, And the description of the room looked like the photo that was attached to the booking. I paid for a superior suite and I did not get a room that looked like the photo. I also was leaving early in the morning, and asked the receptionist if they could put a small breakfast in container for take away they said yes. I told them when and what time I would be leaving It was my check they said they forgot.

Allows large group of students - worst sleep ever!
When we arrived we were very excited to stay at Minzifa. The room looked lovely and the staff welcome was fantastic. However, this turned out to be the worst nights sleep we have ever had while travelling overseas. At.1.30am we were woken up to the arrival of around 40 school students arriving at the accommodation. The teenagers were running around the hotel screaming, banging on our windows, and playing music until 4.30am. My partner and I both got up 4 times in total to try and quieten the noise. On these occasions staff members were either not around or were hesitant to act. No teachers were around.
This is not what I would have expected from a boutique hotel and ruined our experience. We were particularly disappointed by the hotel staff's lack of willingness to find a resolution to this issue. All they did was say sorry, but did not attempt to resolve this issue happening in the middle of the night.
You may have a lovely stay at this accommodation, but by allowing these children to run riot through the hotel and with no attempts to resolve the situation, this ruined our stay.

A friend recommended Minzifa and I am so glad she did. My stay in Bukhara this time was short, and my hotel stay was great - the room was clean and comfortable. The staff pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good and there was even brewed coffee!!

Wonderful Central Hotel
This place is the perfect spot for exploring Bukhara. It has a quaint, relaxed atmosphere inside a historic feeling building. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and stayed cool during the heat of the summer. I would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel staff is not exactly welcoming....Upon arriving before check-in time we were suggested to wait in the breakfast area. We misunderstood the suggestion as an invitation to have the complimentary breakfast, since we were about to check in within half an hour anyways, but we were made to pay because we had breakfast before officially checking in, this is not particularly welcoming behavior for one of the top hotels of the city.....Also, we were charged for water bottles (which were free for guests) because we asked for them just a couple of minutes after we checked out. Being strickler for rules is one thing, and being unfriendly is something else...

We had a wonderful two night stay at Hotel Minzifa. We arrived quite early and even though the hotel does not usually allow early check-in, they made one of our rooms ready for us within half an hour of arrival! The location is great, staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the property itself is wonderfully decorated and historic. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the breakfast is great. Loved that they had some traditional Uzbek “suzani” on display and available to buy also.
The only difficulty we had was that it was hard to get in touch with the hotel in advance, as I could not find an email for them anywhere. Otherwise everything was great!

Quiet, cozy and very very pretty setting. The front desk speaks English and they also have a tour agency. I took an overnight yurt camp tour with them too and it was safe and professional. They are very responsive to queries. Within short walking distance of the main sites, with lots of eating options.

the property is old and perfectly equipped for a hotel. a marvel of construction. the room and in particular the bathroom, perfectly recycled and with all the comforts that are needed. highlighted the bathroom for its quality. The service staff and in particular who is in charge of the reception, have a great quality and vocation to serve. the location of the hotel could not be better. All in all, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Underwhelming experience visiting in December
I was really excited to stay here, after reading all the reviews - however, I felt underwhelmed by my stay. The location is decent, although it is quite hard to find when you arrive. My room was decent and I slept well, however, I found it to be poorly designed (light switch hidden behind a wardrobe and TV in a poor location). The WiFi was unusable in my room (just as well I had picked up a local SIM card), the hot water wasn't working in the bathroom and the room was colder than I would have liked (I travelled in early December). Think this might have been because my room was at the edge of the hotel despite it being almost empty. The staff were friendly, however, some of them spoke little english which made things more difficult.
Hopefully, my experience was a one-off as I travelled in the low season. However, next time I would stay somewhere else as I feel that the experience was not worth what I paid for it.

The hotel is in a historical area, I loved walking out into the narrow streets from the gated courtyard. My daughters were concerned at first because of the narrow street/alley. But soon realized it is part of the charm of the area. We felt completely safe and would come back here again.

Excellent hotel located in the old city. The approach road was under construction, but apart from that I must say that the hotel had excellent staff and we were very well looked after. The breakfast was great too!

Haven in Old City
This is a small boutique hotel right in the old town. Once through the gate it is a haven of tranquility. Our room was eclectically decorated and in a good way. It was comfortable and had everything expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You stay here because of location and wanting to be in somewhere authentic with character - I can say on both counts it did not disappoint.
