Horrible customer service ! Staff not friendly at all, everytime we would suggest food to order they will give attitude . Breakfast was horrible took 1 hr for a cup of coffee . Maintenance was so poor no water for a day in room. Air conditioning leak while sleeping . No entertainment at all looks like lights out by 9pm outside no staff . Will not recommend this place . Need money bank asap

The servers were horrible. It was hard to get service and there was no customers. The servers were just sitting at the bar. The cabanas were dirty with peoples cups and bottles. The food, room, and spa are over priced like US prices. The massage felt like someone rubbing lotion on me for 75 dollars.

Outdated and dirty is the best away to describe this Hotel. The potential is there, but it's as if they don't care. First you pull in and see an overgrown parking lot not very kept. The check in is in an in air-condition less lobby. On the way to the rooms you go through the hallway which could use a paint job and a moping. Once you make it to the room and you get inside you are met with the smell of sewage which they try to mask it with air fresheners in the bathroom. However, the room is clean and tidy.
Once you get outside you see the roof cover with traps and missing tiles. The pools could be cleaned as they are murky and dirty. The game room is worn down and dirty. All the machines seem really old and broken.
When you go make sure they are not holding any events because they will block you from the use of the resort, they pushed all the guests to the upstairs seating area for dinner while the event they were hosting could use the resort . They used yellow caution tape to keep us out of areas we had paid to use. When I went to complain they would just bring out random employees saying they were the owner. When the manager stood there and I pressed them the front desk guy said I asked the wrong question.

We were a party of 25 with 4 rooms and a suite. . One of the days the they were without water throughout the entire hotel. One of the rooms the A/C unit was leaking water onto the bed. We had to let the front desks to go clean the rooms as they hadn’t been cleans since had gotten there. The staff at the breakfast area were terrible. We asked for coffee and took too long to serve us , we asked for refilles and they took too long. After out coffee we told them we were ready to order and they took too long to take our our deed. Then too too it off we finished eating some of the drinks or food we ordered never came to us. At checkout we spoke to who said was the manager about our experience and how in happy we were . All he said he may do was to take down our information to give it to he’s higher up and see what he may discount us for the bad experience we had. I know darn well he they won’t be doing anything about it now that we’ve checked out .

An amazing property with 4 awesome pools close to the beach. It was always clean and looking pristine as staff were constantly working on keeping it meticulous. The food was delicious and fresh, especially the sea food.
Above it all, the staff were incredible. Everyone we came across always had a smile and went above and beyond to help us with anything we asked. The wife and I had a great time and next year I look forward to coming back with my kids.

Mi esposo y yo estuvimos por 3 noches, el lugar es bonito y limpio, aun estan en reparaciones de la estructura y no tenemos ninguna mala impresion con eso, pero el personal debe ser mas amable y no ser demasiado serios o hasta hacernos sentir incomodos tanto en la recepcion como en el bar, cuando los empleados son amables y te hacen sentir bien recibido uno desea volver al lugar, No solo por la locacion pero por como le hacen sentir.

It is a nice place if you’re looking to spend a day by the beach and pool but the rooms are outdated and we were give a room that wasn’t very cleaned and the shower curtain smelled horrible. This property has a lot of potential if it were remodeled.

Staff is extremely rude, especially the front desk man with tattoos, when he checked us in didn't provide any information on hotel breakfast hours, pool hours, or any amenities whatsoever, upon checkout another front desk man tried to charge me an extrq $20 for not returning beach towels which we did, when i spoke up he smirked. The only kind people were the security at the front. Overall we felt safe, but the place is pretty run down, we understand it is a country that's healing

This hotel is very nice, pretty grounds. But the actual building needs some upgrade. Hallways need some ventilation or AC. Rooms can be cleaned better. They should have phones in the rooms and room service. The front office staff needs some training on better customer experience during check in and out. But ALL the other employees were very nice. The property is very spacious compared to others ,the amount of pools and places to relax is a plus , some complaint about needs renovation or that cosmetically needs to be done , lots of people don’t know the history of El Salvador a war , gangs and now revival a new El Salvador , Tesoro Beach may not be top notch or 5 stars but one day will be one of those to the ones that complaint for little things or being outdated , we had a great time we enjoyed the premises , big room , clean , hot water , everything worked in the room , we will visit again and TB will be one of our stops to stay . Plenty of parking , private beach , the personnel was helpful when needed. No overcharging we paid whatever we consumed . Just a fabulous time , two nights too short for us . Just go enjoy and relax . You will find it there .

First impression upon arrival was that the hotel is old and has not been renovated in a long time. The rooms were not nice at all. All the common grounds and outdoor amenities were a lot nicer. We enjoyed our time outside of the hotel room. The staff was extremely friendly and made the stay a lot more pleasant. Food was ok and the DJ by the pool was cool. The sunsets were beautiful. I personally would not come back to this resort but we made the best out of our trip and appreciated the outdoor amenities and the staff.

The pictures are completely inaccurate. The place is filthy. No hot water, no blankets in the room. Nothing to eat in the area after 7pm. Probably one of the worst and expensive hotels i have ever visted. Zero stars

I really like this hotel. This was the 2nd time we stayed there. It needs some updating however I believe they are working on it. They are up grading rooms and we kinda got stuck next door to one of those rooms, 8:30am and we had to be up, with all the banging who can sleep In? Didn’t enjoy that at all, but other than that it is one of my favorite go to’s. Food is delicious, breakfast is included. Beach is nice, staff is great, rooms are clean. Pool is nice, has a couple of bars, staff is hard working seemed like they cut down on waiters regardless they work really hard and tend to you quickly. I definitely recommend this hotel.

They have no portable water. The toilet sink water stinks once you use it. You cant even brush your teeth. Also the water from the shower it leaves you very slimy, very nasty feeling i got few rashes because of it. The staff are very good people however, not very attentive.

The room was clean the perks and details was poorly supplied only two towels no mat for the shower, no bath towels for dry the hands or small baths for the body the installation roof are under construction very close to the occupied rooms that is annoying, the food and drinks service close to the beach is definitely deficiency, it's a big property but show a lack of maintenance the grass looks very bad and the checking hour is so early and if you want to stay longer you have to pay extra to extend for 3 hours your stay

We stayed at Tesoro Beach Hotel in El Salvador and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The condition of the hotel is outdated. Our bathroom had visible mold in the bathtub, shower water was SALTY, which made it uncomfortable to use. We also experienced a power outage during our stay, which added to the frustration. On top of that, some of our family members got sick after eating the food. The breakfast was meh, not impressed. Service was another downside it was consistently slow and not very attentive. Overall, we were not happy with our stay. We actually checked out a day early. Place is old and creepy.

There is a lot of garbage on the beach, right in front of the hotel. It would only take a couple of workers and a couple of hours to clean it up. Also someone else used our room number to order drinks. They should have a better control of this. The beach is nice. The employees were very nice too.

Limited towels in the room, they put only two towels, we use it when we get there and then the next morning we have to reuse it and still wet. NO HOT WATER!!!! And swimming pools water was very dirty and cloudy.

Nothing going on in that place, boring as hell. Everything closes at 08:30 pm and you can’t even sit in the facilities areas by the beach front since they kick you out. No room service and the food is terrible.

The big selling point here was that it’s a beach hotel. Unfortunately that’s where the excitement began and ended. The hotel has paint peeling in the hallways as well as in the bedrooms. There’s also a very distinct smell of mold throughout the first floor hallway and within the three bedrooms we occupied. In one of the rooms we had there was blood stains on the sheets. The hotel is open air throughout so theres no AC anywhere outside of your bedroom. Even the AC we did have was not that great. The beach is nice however the waves are strong and dangerous for inexperienced or younger swimmers. The pools were not particularly clean as there were lots of leaves and bugs in the pool. There’s very little staff at this hotel maintaining the property or bringing drinks to the pool guests. In fact after 10pm or so the front desk is completely unattended until someone returns in the morning. The food here is not great. I would estimate that over 80 to 90% of the guests here are locals. So while this is likely considered a pretty nice hotel for the locals, I don’t know that many foreigners would feel the same way. We ultimately decided to leave this hotel four nights early without any refund and move our vacation to a nicer hotel located in San Salvador just so we could be more comfortable. The hotel is also located in a very remote area with little to nothing to do. Sadly this hotel was a big disappointment.

I spend a night in the hotel! Service is excellent and ithe place was clean ! But it need a make over urgently other than that no complaints! Also we took the boat tour and it was the high light of the day!

The hotel looks old, not too many guests, and when you ask for a coconut, they take too long. The menu is all the same. We asked for breakfast on Monday morning, and it took them an hour to serve us. It’s not the servers' fault; it's the people who cook that don’t care for their guests. There is no grass. The chairs are broken. It looks clean, but everything still needs to be updated.

The hotel is currently going through some remodeling but our room was still very nice. The staff was amazing and the access to the beach and pools was great. I do think their lunch and dinner options could have a little more of a variety, especially if you are going to stay for more than a couple of days. But everything we are there, including the free breakfast was delicious. Plus, if you get bored with their menu, there are several ''comedores\" nearby you can travel to. This has been one of the best beaches I have come across in my recent travels to El Salvador and I really think I want to stick with this place next time I visit

We celebrated my birthday at Hotel Tesoro Beach with a group of 15 guests and had an amazing time. The staff was incredible—very friendly, attentive, and made sure our whole group was well taken care of. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the hotel offers plenty of activities, which made the stay even more enjoyable for everyone.
A special thank you to Cruz, our server, who was outstanding the entire time. He was very attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly for our group. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a perfect place to celebrate with family and friends. Highly recommended!
