There is a lot of room for improvement with maintaining rooms, and presentation of food. Doors didn’t close for the patio, allowing all manner of bugs in. Think more of glamping than resort. The buffet drinks were composed of an ice chest and store bought litter sodas

This was probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in if not the worst. The rooms were not clean. They didn’t even have soap to wash your hands, no hooks to hand your towels, the sliding door would not lock, the beach was so dirty, the food was very plain, it was extremely noisy, and the service was so bad. I can go on and on. Do not recommended this place to anyone. Pictures are deceiving.

Éste era un lugar inhumanamente habitable, no había forma para habitar este lugar, el lugar era muy sucio, la comida era fea, supuestamente el paquete que había comprado era todo incluido y no incluía nada cobraban hasta por sentarse en una silla $20 por sentarse en una silla, bebidas limitadas. Yo compré un paquete todo incluido y no tenía absolutamente nada, incluido las instalaciones mal diseñadas el jacuzzi al aire libre, que no se podía utilizar porque pasaban personas caminando por la parte de atrás que tiene vista hacia un campo, baldío el servicio es muy lejos de ser hospitalario, no permitieron que trajéramos nuestras mascotas y en el lugar habían cientos y cientos y cientos de perros callejeros.

Bed was broken, it was reported the same day and nobody did anything. They knew about this issue and they just ignored it. My 75 years old mom with back problems had no other choice that sleep in that bed. I will not recommend to stay at this place.

Price is to high, and not all in including. We payed 75$ for lunch cuz the lunch start late. They also charge you if you like to use the beds outside or at the beach, they charge you for for extra towels, and because we tooked them to the beach extra 12$ for each towels use. Snacks were old, I know was a Monday but I do believe the we should give every guest the best everyday. Definitely not the best choice for any visitors, with the price we payed we could get something much better. And the most annoying thing is the you have to request a ticket for every alcohol drink they serve. I’m so sorry but you should do better and all international visitors, be aware this place is not ideal for our spectating

Well .. I paid for a room where 3 people need to sleep and they just gave me a queen bed .. one of my kids is 14 so I needed another bed. Food was really cold and very limited. The hotel said is all inclusive but they give you the cheapest beer and alcohol and they have better drinks but they want you to pay for them. The dance club was fun but is opened till midnight. There is just one pool and everyone was there so the beach was close but not that great. Karaoke was fun . But that’s about it .

Toilet paper bracket broken. Bathroom general condition was poor. Only register visitors could buy food in the facility so I couldn’t spent extra money with friends, their lost. They charge a ridiculous amount of money for an extra person. Definitely not staying again.

Very amazing stay for families and people who want to enjoy activities, the only minus is the address it gives you, your better off using Waze and putting the name of the hotel because I was lost in the sauce, other than that amazing food and staff!

I saw lots of videos with good reviews so I gave this place a shot. The all inclusive food and drinks were good but that was it. The room smelled musky. The sheets were dirty with stains. The hand towels were also dirty with stains. The room looked so outdated and plain. This place has potential but needs renovation asap. We made a complaint during our stay and they still wanted to sell us timeshares for their other hotel properties. Was I expecting a luxury resort? no, but the hotel room falls in line with some motel style room you would find in a Vegas motel off the strip.

It's a huge,beautiful property,the beach is nice, silver sand , however I would not come back to Bahía del sol again, unfortunately the food it's cold, I don't like my food room temperature, they don't listen to clients, since I just read many comments like mine, also the entertainment it's awful the worst the DJ didn't stop playing Corridos, he didn't sing, nobody sang either,it was so boring!!!! Please take away the All inclusive advertisement,that NAME DOESN'T MEET THE EXPECTATIONS FOR CLIENTS !!!

Please please don’t stay here, let me start off by saying when I checked in they were not giving me what I had reserved online which was a 2 bedroom room. Instead they were giving me a one bedroom with one queen bed. I told them that it was 3 of us and my reservation stated 2 bedrooms one with a queen bed and another room with 2 beds. We went to eat when we came back I found a full size bed in the middle of the living room. Went back to the front desk and told them that I needed to get the room that I paid for. That I was not going to stay in a room with a bed in the middle of the living room. They kept telling me that when I reserved I paid for 3 packages not the room and that since it was 3 of us, we didn’t need the other room. After going back and fourth she finally told me she was gonna send maintenance in there to open up a door that was locked, once they open it up, we got exactly what we paid for! I’m pretty sure they make money under the table and they were trying to rent out the other 1/2 of the room since it had its own bathroom and entrance. Hard to explain but don’t stay there, the hotel is under construction, rooms were dirty. Food is okey

The hotel is not as how it looks on pictures, they did not know what room to assign us even after we purchased. There is nothing else to do other than walking to the beach and swimming in the pool. No other activities are on the property. There was also many flies and bees which made us very uncomfortable to eat or even sit back and relax.

This place use to be better, i had struggles since I arrived, I reserved a suite with wheelchair access because I travel to El Salvador to visit my grandmother. They gave me a suite in the second floor all the way to the beach area, we were tired and had to drive to the Estero side to get the suite changed took another 40 minutes, the seevers were fantastic they even help me to bring my grandmother to the car after the meals so that was great and only reason why I’m giving two starts,
There was a lot of construction noise, wifi didn’t work on my suite, had to call to get the jacuzzi turn on and it was dirty, and if all of the above is not enough I had to spend 3 of 5 meals convincing the time share vendors why I didn’t wanted to buy time shared.
It was such a hassle and really robbed me of my peace and time with my grandmother.

The hotel is not well kept. The bathroom so bad that the door is unable to open completely open because it hits the sink. the toilet seat doesn’t stay open. the shower barely has water pressure. Also, being wheelchair accessible seems to be an after thought because it is not done well, ie some ramps are too steep and there is an area completely inaccessible. There was no a place put your toothbrush. The bedroom does have a small table or night stand .not a table and burnt light bulb. They do not clean the room well and they do not leave you with towels or toilet paper or even water. We paid for all inclusive but we had to buy bottled water if we wanted more than just the one they leave in your room, if they remember to leave one at all, and pay for alcohol drinks. we needed it to be separate. I’d say don’t bother getting the all inclusive is not worth it and it is not what you would expect. Motel 6 is far better than this place. There was one person that did a great job taking care our family Leo. He was great making sure we had a table for our large group and that we had everything we needed during our meals.

The property was very over priced the renovations part is it still under construction first day I asked for new room never given. Everyday if you have on armband for inclusive why are you asked your room number. It was extremely out of the way of everything. I’m very hurt by the conditions for what I paid 178 for one right it was more like 65 a night 1 towel each no wash clothes sheets and pillow case dirty

The staff was extremely attentive, and helpful. At the time of our stay the pool on our side of the resort was under construction so when I asked to be moved to another room closer to the other pool on the property where all festivities were taking place the front staff made the move possible. I wish there were more activities for the guest to be a part of but I believe that because we were there doing the middle of the week the water activities were not available. Overall it's a beautiful resort and we loved everything.

We were supposed to stay on the beach side but ended up on the creek side, witnessed many complaints while at front desk. Had to call them to bring us everything just about. The water in the bathroom and kitchen smelled pretty bad, no hot water, paid close to $500 for one night stay, therefore I expected a lot more, I would not stay there again, the beach was great though.

Terrible service, the rooms I had paid for they didn’t have because they overbooked themselves. When I told them I paid for 3 separate rooms they told me I could take what they gave me or they would cancel my reservation and leave us without a place to stay. Everywhere there was booked so we had to take it. The facility was dirty and the beach has so much trash in it I felt sick about it. The pool is not clean and was slimy so we didn’t even stay in the pool. We canceled our stay after one night because we got bitten up but they would not even give us a partial refund because they are money hungry. Also they tried to make us pay more for services almost doubling the cost of our stay at check in. STAY AWAY!! Do not stay here and please plan your trip somewhere else!

The staff not so friendly. The bedroom were dusty, the WATER STINK REALLY BAD. I WASNT ABLE TO wash up because the water smells horrible. Around 6 am the power was out or turn off. Really bad experience not what they show on pictures. By far the worst hostel I have ever stay at. 👎

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, had an awful experience we arrived late at night was stopped by the security guard, he couldn't find out reservation I've asked if they had wifi he said no, wasn't very helpful had to leave late at night around 11:30 had to sleep in my car with my wife, please do yourself a favor and don't stay at this hotel.

Took a long time to check in. We confirmed our reservation beforehand as instructed. Also, priority was given to club members during check in. Over an hour to check in is not acceptable. This alone will be the reason I will never come here again. Showers in the rooms smelled from odor rising from the septic through drains. Overall cleanliness of rooms was not good. Breakfast did not have variety, was just not good at all. Check out was the same and lost 45 minutes just to turn in the key.

This place does not deserve to be at Expedia, all inclusive is a lie, be careful, I don’t plan to come back here ever, room had bat feces on bed, at night the bats won’t let u sleep, rooms are not clean enough, no phone on room to call for service, etc etc, overpriced, nothing compared to other hotels in the Not recommended if ure planing a family trip, at all!!

Very friendly and attentive staff. Poor management, not even willing to consider, let alone, accommodate guest requests. Manager didn’t show up to resolve conflict, just issued “rules are rules” type of instructions to front desk staff from his/her office. The bathroom water (shower, sink and toilet) smelled faintly of sewage, it was disgusting. The location is great. Very poor beachfront facilities. Overall: pricey for what you’re getting.
