I want a refund ! We 1st got there and the room smelled like wet dog, we found bugs in our clean towels, then i seen a bug on our bed as well, and the next morning upon pack we found a grown bed bug (dead) under the table where you eat. The staff did give us spray for the smell and brought clean towels. But i haven't heard from management at all regarding the bed bug situation, i couldn't sleep all night because i was worried about taking home bugs. And i thought there was complimentary breakfast, that was nowhere to be found. The chemicals in the pool and hot tub were kind of unbearable.

Good hotel where I have stayed during previous visits to Columbus. Great staff, check in was quick and easy. They get busy on weekends and your chance of having to deal with noise is increased. First night I had loud neighbors drinking and partying in their room very late. Second night they were gone and it was nice and quiet. Good location on the north side, close to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

Where should I start? Check in was great. Pulled up it looked nice. Walked in it looked nice. Looked like it had been updated. The person who checked us in was polite. Walk down the hall, it smells horrible! Ok I understand things happen and smells occur. Get up to the floor we are roomed on, the hallway floors were dirty with stains all over. Get to our room and our door didn't want to open. Finally get in the door. The room is good size, the bed was ok, the floor had stains on it. They literally just tried to make it look like it was updated. The paint is old and chipping. Carpets are horrible, bathtub was dirty and stained up. The bed had a decent sheet and blanket. Pillows were ok-ish. Settled in for the night and went to shower. There was literally one towel and one washcloth in our room. Q

Looks clean, smells clean. Room at 1st glance looked clean. But as you look closer, the walls was dirty, the pillow cases had stains on them. The shower water is delyaed. The pool looked clean until your in and see floating eyelashes, peoples hair, body oil and skin floating on the surfaces of the water. The person that cleans the area came in to clean the hot tub literally 1 hour before they close and didnt tell nobody they cant go back in. Only end up telling one person cause he turned the jets on. The employees arguing in the lobby. The bartender rude and ghetto and didnt serve me. She was sitting at a table eating and talking to a customer i think.

This property is great because of affordability and a nice staff. It is quite old and a bit rundown, but perfectly acceptable place to stay. I slept really well! I will say that there was very little hot water available for the shower, which made me sad but is what it is.

Room price reflected no breakfast/coffee etc. All i wanted was a hot bath after a long work day and they put me in a handicap room with a shower chair, lol. The desk vlerk needs to know not to announce the room number (write it down) for a female traveling alone for safety reasons. This hotel was 9k for the price, but definitely needs some upgrades.

Hotel was huge. Would have probably enjoyed the stay better if it was all that I was expecting. I thought it was pretty cool learning from a staff member that it once was a Doubletree before. I love the large party room. The bar was nice inside, but not very busy and not alot of choices. The most upsetting part was there was no continental breakfast as displayed on the website. I traveled out of town and purposely chose this hotel for the included breakfast.When mentioned to front desk after obtaining the keys, Was told that it was supposed to be removed from the website due to the kitchen is closed down. Noticed a memo taped to front desk of no breakfast. Had I known that there was no breakfast, I most definitely would have went to one of the other hotels in the area instead. That was unfair to have paid the amount paid plus had to purchase breakfast both days while there. Definitely was not planning on that.

The staff; receptionist stated she had to contact Wyndham last week because she noticed the website did not show that the free breakfast option did not state that currently their restaurant where people have breakfast is closed due to this property being understaffed. The remote control for the tv inside our room did not work and I didn’t mind too much but, yeah. Lastly, the a/c unit was shotty somewhat but we managed to stay comfortable.
However, the property was clean, staff seemed polite and my child got to swim. I also told the receptionist that I may apply since they’re understaffed.
I would not have paid for this room at this time that much money had I known the issues. I’ll try this property again at a later time maybe—if those issues are resolved. Not even for the amount again though, just in case.

My room was switched 3times. Master key didn't even work. Then the toilet didn't flush the sink was clogged wouldn't drain. The maintenance man and security tried there best to help the situation. I had a new child and daughter compete @ osu. There was nothing for breakfast. Best thing was the bar!

The shower in the room didn't work.
The hot tub is good but a little aggressive with the bubbles. Still enjoyed it. The pool was nice. We slept well but the walls are thin we could hear exactly what the people on the otherside of the wall where saying.
We turned on sleep sounds and then slept well. The gentlemen who checked us is was 10/10.

I asked house keeping for a towel and they told me to ask the front desk. We could hear the elevator moving while trying to sleep. I just was craving a Diet Coke and when I asked the front desk if she knew where I could get one she replied NO .. no breakfast, the restaurant was closed. The only issue I can complain about is checking out. I had to check out at 5:30 am and there was no one to be found to help me. A worker came in while I was waiting for someone to come to the desk and she started yelling hello and finally someone came out of the back room who looked like he was sleeping. He was unable to give me a receipt or check me out electronically because he said computer was down. Check in went perfectly and my room was nice and was clean.

This place was by far the worst I have stayed at in a while. They did not let you know there was no breakfast but advertised they did state it was under construction but still changed full price. Laundry was broken could not use. They didn’t have clean rooms there was a bloody noise bogey on the shower curtain when we arrived and it was still there when we left probably still there. Never would I stay there again not even for free

Absolutely horrible stay. My comforter had a cigarette burn in it. Our room REAKED of cigarettes and the smell of smoke came in all night long. My young kids cried and didn’t sleep. I tried to contact the hotel and Expedia with no help. The room is dated and DIRTY.

The only downsides were that my desk didn’t have a chair, so it was difficult to get work done. The TV remote was also missing, and I was only issued one room key. However, when I brought these issues to the staff’s attention, they fixed them quickly.

Aside from those small issues, the stay was comfortable and peaceful.

The hotel must’ve been just renovated. It looks like it just opened the restaurant. There was no breakfast available because they’re still renovating. They’re still remodeling the place or refreshing the area place up, but I don’t know but it’s nice. It’s nice in the inside. The only thing that was horrible, was the staff I checked in and I wasn’t able to use my key to get in my room. They had to get maintenance man several times to let me in and I just unexcused right there. I purchased how I drive two hours away. Just get this to land a nice clean hotel where I can be able to get access to it whenever I feel like and I wasn’t able to get that opportunity that privilege after the maintenance man left cause I cause I was able to get in after the management let me in but the maintenance man stay till 10 o’clock so I left after 10 o’clock to enjoy the nice weather in the city of Columbus Ohio ha I try to get back into my room in my room. Key still wasn’t working. There was a different staff member that was trying to help me that they switched different keys. There was no luck getting in my room even the security guard which had a master key were trying to get in and who I was not able to get in and I was frustrated. I didn’t get him. They had to put me in another room like around 3 AM 4 AM 4 AM in the morning and I’m very frustrated very angry. Staff was nice. Checked in online as requested but when I showed up, the front desk manager told me that it doesn’t transfer to their system. Ever. So don’t bother. Then, we are notified that they won’t be serving breakfast. That would be fine if we hadn’t chosen a hotel that did so. They stated we don’t pay for breakfast since it was free. That’s correct but some folks see that they have free breakfast online and choose that one over the next due to cost savings. Don’t put it on your site that breakfast is included if you aren’t serving any. The bigger issue was the fact they had no snacks available. They had a few drinks you could purchase but not even a snack machine.

We filled out the virtual check-in information and when we got there they said they don't do that. We got our room which smelled overwhelming of smoke. There was no cold water in the bathroom sink.....no water came out at all. The curtain rod was on the floor and broken. Needless to say we were a little disappointed in this property.

I booked this property so we could have a pool side get away, then to find out that their pool was down. It was suppose to be ready for the next night that we stayed and again, no pool. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere. The room was nice, but could have stayed home and watched T.V. and not paid for a doggie sitter. :( There was no room number on our door and elevators were so very slow. No ice either.

Yes. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Had to leave room twice. We are 75 year olds and all we wanted to rest. The maintenance guy took towel and washers so I had to call and ask for another and they said I would have to come down to front desk because housekeeping had left for night. It was 9 before we got the towel and able to rest.

The overall cleanliness of the room and bathroom was poor. The hotel is older and in need of some updates to the rooms however that should not effect the cleanliness. Bathroom was not sufficiently clean, I had to purchase cleaner to clean the bathtub, shower curtain, and floor. Also the room carpet was not clean and not fully swept. The room worked for a short stay but I will not choose to stay again.

I called 2 days before and was promised a working hot tub. upon arrival, the hot tub water was ice cold. the desk promised to inform maintenance at 5pm. at 7pm, I was told that the status was unknown. at 8pm, maintenance was called and informed that the tub was not working at all. I was lied to several times all told. don't trust a word that this hotel says.

The facilities are nice but the Front Desk staff are getting worse. One night it took a few attempts to have the key card progammed correctly. Going back and forth from 5th floor to the dest, eventuall I had a mantence man open the door. Another night no one at the desk, after waiting I left the hotel, last time the young kid was a flaky jerk. Not a fan of the way this hotel is being run.

More towels maybe a life guard actually food to eat for breakfast less bleach in the hot tub. No one was watching there kids letting them dive in the shallow playing or the life guard chairs pushing kids off of it doing flips and clean there coffee makers in the room

The room smelled like smoke. The room was stocked with no large bath towels only a bunch of hand towels. They forgot to put the bread spread on our bed.We had to ask twice. We slept for 3 hours until the smoke smell got to us and we left early.
I am disabled I want to feel like im valied and I matter. Not at the Wyndham.
